Does anyone bake their chicken breast in the oven?

Just wondering about how long it takes since it is so small? I'm trying to keep from drying it out. Temp 350? Did you cover with foil?

Hi Dream!!! I bake my chicken in the oven. I bake at least a lb at a time. I cut it and weigh it out first and then partition it in the baker I have. I use my Pampered Chef clay bakers that fit together to resemble an oven. That just means that my chicken is more roasted then fried in there! It is moist when it comes out. I bake it at 350 degrees for about 20 mins or so. I then take the top off my clay baker and put it back in for another 5 mins to get browned. If you don't have a covered baker like I do, you can cover your pan with aluminum foil. Same reasoning. Happy cooking!!

Most people don't do this, but I steam my chicken breasts. First I pound them into chicken tenders (about 1/4"). They cook in no time. I just check the temp with an instant read thermometer. They are done at 160. They come out tender and juicy.

To be honest, it's always hard to bake chicken & for it not to be a bit dry. Have you thought about broiling it???? I usually poke the chicken breast with a fork, then either put some "liquid smoke" or some spices & then broil away. It's usually very fresh & delicious!!! Put any left overs in a ziplock & then when you warm a chicken breast, unzip about a 1/2 an inch & microwave for 30 seconds - it should warm up nicely AND still be moist!!!

Thanks everyone.

I ended up cooking it in the oven and it turned out really well. I have this new kind of paper that is parchment on one side and foil on the other.

I took my 100 gram piece of chicken poked holes in it with a fork, squeezed some lemon juice on it, sprinkled on my spices and wrapped it up in the paper sealed like a pouch. I baked it at 350 for 20 minutes.

It turned out perfect! Very moist and juicy. Much, much better than it has been tasting on my indoor grill!
