P3 help...how much/how long before stabilizing...

Hello all~

I am on R1 P3 D4...so far so good...LDW 245.2...now 245.8...(+.6 over). I was up almost 2 lbs. D1 & D2. I am doing strict low-carb/high fat.

My question is this...how long from experience did it take to go back below and stabilize/lose 2 lbs. below. Does it take the 3 weeks? Or is the bouncing normal?

From my experience, your window is from 243.2 - 247.2 (2 lbs. each way). As long as you stay in that window you are stabilizing. The bouncing is very normal. Also, you don't have to stay very low-carb/high fat. Just follow the rules of no sugar/ no starch. You can have all the good carby veggies that you want as well as berries. I think the biggest and hardest part is not stressing about it and just enjoy. Great job!

I am going to enjoy it. Funny thing...I am ready for P2 again...lol. I liked the structure, plus I am addicted to that scale going down...lol. I am trying to lose 2+ more lbs...even .5 a week would be great (I only have to lose .2 to still qualify). Here's the deal...I attend a weight loss support group...TOPS(Take Off Pounds Sensibly), and I am involved in 3 contests right now. 1) Longest time-frame of no gains...I'm at 10 weeks so far...2 more to go(prize-3 months no dues) 2) On-going losses until last one (me & another gal only left)...$10 prize 3) new contest starting $50 prize for longest running loser. Soooo...I would like to still stay in the contests...lol...I can be competitive...lol. Everyone is counting on me...I would hate to lose after all that time ;(

I am SO with you about P2 watching the scale go down! I am right now on R1, P3,
Day 4 & while I have eaten the food, added the fat, and have lost 1.5 pounds. NOT that I'm complaining! However, I don't want to blow P3 or 4!!!
