LOL...I was surprised we got away with so many postings!!

Ok so I made chicken chili tonight but oven baked the chicken first, seasoned with adobo and cumin...then shredded that, added it to my pot, used my chili seasonings and my fav hunts fire roasted garlic diced tomatoes, and some heat...YUMMMMM!!! So good...why didn't I ever shred it like that before? I reduced it so it was nice and thick, delish

Just got over a MAJOR emotional boo-hoo moment...very tired of P2 and voicing my frustration at not being at 134 yet (yes whining and having a woe is me pathetic, snot nosed moment) and my husband was like so end it early...
Ok well...I have 8 days left...what if I do get to 134 in those 8 days? AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH.......the great debate LOL...should I stay or should I go? Everyone sing along!
But on a serious note....I wanted to be in P3 for momma's day on Sunday...but then keep thinking, I made it this far, what's a few more days? UGH, friggin crappy crap!

I always jokingly say I am like the lil engine that could and I ain't kidding this time! I can so see myself huffin' n puffin' "I think I can, I think I can" LOL...

Off to have my glass of vino, that should get me centered and calm and sleepy

Hello, ladies!

Been missing all of you but could NOT afford the time to try to read to catch up, so I'm doing a fly-by. I am starting a new PT regime for the hip and so although I wanted to go back to P2 and RE-LOSE (dangit) and go further, I'm going to have to sit here for a while. I'm still in my same pants, but boy they feel spraypainted on! Doing protein and veggies until I get myself back into control. I guess I cannot do nuts/dairy no matter how many times I tell myself it'll be ok. Ugh. Honestly I think I do better if I just eat one or two bites of what I really want instead of "substituting" with handfuls of nuts! Just being real!

I could only read a few pages in "our" old thread before coming here. I don't think I will be able to post alot but I will try to check in now and again.

(((HUGS)))

Cmarie! So good to hear from ya girl! Health first, then comes the weight
Hope you feel amazingly better soon

Alright y'all...so I'm calling it done! Using yesterday as my LIW of 136.2 and I will be starting P3 on Saturday

I had a total meltdown last night, hormones anyone? And I realized I am done emotionally and physically. I'm taking my supplements religiously but feel the muscle soreness pain I get when I'm nearing the end of rounds and I'm getting very moody at the drop of a hat. Plus, hunger is settling in now around 8 pm or so.
I go to the clinic today, I'm sure I've lost a nice amount of inches so I'll use that as my gauge. I started this round at 150 and was at 136 yesterday, I think that's pretty darn good and I'm trying not to let a number on a scale bring me down!

Weight today is 136.0...so if I kept on till Wednesday I'd be at 134.8 or so but it's just not worth it to me...32 days is enough...

C'Marie- glad to see you! Sorry your still struggling!

Sunny- Good call! You've had a great round! Big Congrat's!

I'm down another .6 today, P4D19 119.8 (LDW 121.4).
So happy I was able to pull it back in and re gain control.

Have a great day ladies!

Good morning everyone!!! So glad this is the all phases thread....because i think I jumped to phase SIX yesterday....yes, that would be the one that includes girl scout cookies and merlot, brie and bacon!!! I DID NOT get on the scale this morning (watch, it probably went down! ) I however, feel like i MUST have went up 25lbs! I feel GROSS!!! AND my pants barely fit!

Oh well, light for the next two days...though, i probably don't see the point at this moment! lol...damage done! I stuck through it as long as i could. I will keep plugging away w/ juddd and healthy eating and then revisit a THIRD round 2 when i get my blood work settled!

We are STILL testing so i will be back later on in the day to catch up with everyone!

C'Marie!!!!!!!!!!!! MISSED YOU SO MUCH!!! Glad you are back!

HUGS to everyone!

Thanks for the new thread. I was getting lost in the old one! I love the name, it's perfect!

Sunny, so glad you're done! Now we can enjoy P3 together! Have a wonderful day, and here's hoping for 134 in the wiggle room numbers!

C'Marie, Oh girl we've missed you! So glad you're back! Wow! Take care of yourself.

Tonya, I got back in my window too! The egg day gave me a 2.0 pound drop! Thank God I was getting very depressed! I'm still up 3.5 from my 165.0 but I'm in the window!

Shelby, love it when you're "here, there and everywhere."

Theresa, this is a process, and so happy you're getting the attention you need. Try to enjoy this last bit of time with your students and friends. Big hugs girl!

168.5 this morning, with 167.5 as my LIW, I'm happy about that. One thing I can say is eggs are VERY filling. I didn't eat dinner until 8:00 and could have not eaten. So weird.

I bought some GY to try because of all the "chatter," but I need some ideas to make it tasty.

Big hugs girly bops! HAVE A YIPPEE SKIPPEE DAY!

Okay we'll everyone has checked in except Jeanette! Yay Jeanette - Love my Egg CD!! Woot Yippie Skippy!

Yay Sunny for P3! WOOT! You rocked it mama!

Theresa - Your body was in need of some fat and well you gave it sugar, starch and fat so yay for you! LOL I'm sure you'll do great in P3!

Hey Marie & Shelby!

Well I'm actually at LDW today. I've pretty much maintained and would be in P4 now but am just hanging out in JUDDD land. Getting my body used to eating every other day. It's not bad. I was up to 187 (3 lb above ldw) but I added in carbs and exercise so I've lost about 3 pounds in the past couple of weeks. I like HCG in that you lose, stabilize, maintain. So I feel now that it's so much better to go a month or two losing, then a month or two maintaining. I feel like I can maintain for the long run if I learn how to maintain!

Tonya - Yay for you being under LDW! I never went under, NEVER always over but w/in my window most of the time. Except for when those sneaky margaritas called my name!

For the GY, add a bunch of your favorite flavored sweetener and some berries. It's also good with shredded coconut and some nuts. I've seen people add peanut or almond butter to it. Also, if you melt some coconut oil and add sweetener then add it to the GY, it turns hard like chocolate dipped ice cream. Lots of stuff to play with!

Oh, also, if you are a cottage cheese with salt eater (I am!) the GY is really good with seasoned salt, pepper, and spices. I never buy sour cream any more; I just use this as a dip for veggies and chips.

Just checking in...

Good Morning! Still maintaining at -1 lb below LDW today.

Gotta love P3 and all the yummy foods! I'm planning on making up a huge batch of wings this weekend since I've been craving them for my entire P2!

What are everyone's thoughts on cycling? I'm thinking that I will do P4 for about 1 week (I plan to eat primarily P3 foods, but since we will be visiting family that may not be entirely possible...), then do a mini load and head back into P2. I've been doing some reading on this and feel like this may be the way to go for me. I understand the importance of stabalizing, and have done really well this P3...but I want to get back into losing more of this weight again! Thoughts??

If it's your first round, I would really recommend doing the full 6 weeks of P3/P4. It helps your body really rest and re-set the metabolism, your skin catch up to the rapid weight loss, and your brain really understand what needs to happen for maintenance. It's only two more weeks after all. Not too much hardship to eat yummy food for another two weeks! You don't really need to add a lot of carbs if you don't want to. And you actually CAN drop a few pounds in P4 if you choose. It's just P3 that you need to try and keep in your window. You might consider upping your exercise or relaxing counting calories and macronutrients, etc. and just eat to satisfaction and see how that goes. You might be pleasantly surprised! And if you choose to cycle, you don't do a mini-load--you do a REAL load. As much as we don't want to put on weight, it's necessary to keep the hungries away those first weeks of P2. Again, no need to eat cake and mac 'n cheese if you don't want to. Concentrate on high fat, low carb and you will do great.

OMG I am starving!!!!!! I woke up fine....then around 1 p.m.... BAM!!!!! Instant hunger!! AHHHHHH!!! I have tomorrow still to go!!

Never experienced this before...I knew I was getting hungry the last couple of days, but today my first day without my rx shot and now I am getting tummy pains...I was really busy too so it's not like I was sitting around bored thinking about food!

Not cool....

Welp, I made it through another Atkins' induction-style day trying to correct. I do have a bit of a headache, even though I haven't had hardly any starch or sugar in months even with gaining. It appears I have been "carb creeping" even without starch or sugar.

I got (with my DH's help, LOL) the glidecycle put together and took it for about 15-20 minutes tonight. It was nice to be outside and with the wind on my face and putting the legs through a workout, easy as it is in comparison to what others do. It's been so long since I could do ANYTHING using that leg and I can sure feel it tonight. I was warned NOT to do anything over that for at least a week and I guess they were right.

I'll be going up to my brother's for my niece's 3rd birthday party this weekend so again I won't be on much.

I'm still trying to catch up on reading what everyone's been doing. Nice to be back in some small form.

But the bright light to this is tomorrow is P3!!!!

Weight today, 135.6 (umm where did that 8 oz. drop come from?) so yea still using 136 as my LIW...but seeing 135.6 flash on the scale was awesome

Hope you ladies have a friggin AMAZEBALLS day!!!

Good morning girly bops! WTG C'Marie on the glidecycle. I was curious so I looked that up! Sunny, less than 24 hours! Woot! Woot!

Tonya, I STS today, which is still 1.0 pound over my LIW, and 3.5 up from my lowest (but I'm happy).

Have a great day Aerin and Theresa and Shelby and everybody else. Big hugs!

Thanks for the advise, Shelby!

This is actually my second round, and I've been stabalizing wonderfully well! SO far, not a single correction day (today is the last day of P3, week 2) and I've been fluctuating between 171 and 172.8 (LDW was 172.4). I feel very comfortable with cycling back into P2 by the end of the month. I'm glad you mentioned doing a FULL load. I wasn't entirely sure on mini vs full based on the reading I had done. I'll look forward to that!

I think I'll definitely use my week of P4 to get a few minor cravings out of the way, but I learned the hard way that high fat was the better way to load! My second round, while frustrating in many other ways, I loaded correctly and didn't experience carb/sugar cravings and hunger due to loading CORRECTLY as compared to my first round!

Thanks again for your advise and for sharing your experience!

TGIF Chicas! Still at LDW so not bad for getting back down the 3 pounds I'd went up! I am enjoying maintaining for the month of May! It's nice to be able to eat!

Got my Hungry Girl email this morning and today's Chew On This:

It's May 11th -- Eat What You Want Day! Now is a good time to remind you that we all splurge a little now and then; the important thing is to NOT beat yourself up about it. Enjoy your treat, and then get back to eating normally.

Have a great day!

good morning ladies!!!!
WOOHOO TGIF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I wasn't around yesterday....really outta sorts! Not sure if i'm in juddd/p3/atkins/or just plain chaos!!

I guess i will weigh tomorrow to get my weight since i haven't been on the scale since the brownie incident! I know I went up....just don't really want to know how much!

My blood work came back normal...the cmp. The BUN/Creatinine level was low at 8. Not sure what that means.

Ok, I will be back later on to check in and catch up on personals!!!

Oh, C'Marie.....what is a glide cycle???

Thanks Sunny! I didn't have them in P3, I'm P4D20 today, tried them last weekend. Gonna try them again b/c my problem might have been portion control :blushing:

Theresa - what were your potassium and sodium numbers?
My potassium was 4.4 and sodium was 139....not too far from what they were back in December.
Is there anything else that test would show that would give a tip to a thyroid problem...which might explain why i can wear a parka while others are sweating!
Thanks for all of your help on this!

Theresa, do a search on glidecycle - it's pretty cool. I can get full hip motion, my left hip is really bad, I walk with a cane, but I can almost run with this thing. It's been a really long time since I've been actually able to move it nearly normally. It's kinda weird feeling and I'm sure it'll take some time to get used to it.

But heck, after losing 100 pounds and finishing my degree at 50, I can do anything, right??? LOL

Good morning....havnt been on for a few days now but will give a quick update. Iam on P3-d7 and sticking within my window. Going up or down 2lbs is in the window - correct? Still finding it hard to consume all the calories during the day but must be doing something right haha
Will pop in again in the morning
Have a great day, its going to be the warmest weekend here in the sunny okanagan =)
