GREAT question, would love to know if anyone has done less than 23 days, not that I want to be a guinea pig, JUUUUUST wondering....

And I know it's a number, but my clothes DO notice...at this point in my weight because I am petite, 3-5 pounds means my size 8's are hard to get in to!!!! No no noooooo

Don't mind me...throwing my own pity party with some vino

I am so annoyed about the wings, there is NO WAY I won't gain tomorrow, darn things not only had starch but sugar...sigh'

Time to season up them thighs!!!! BLAHHHHHHHHHH

I haven't done less than 23/24 days but find myself in this exact dilemma right now. Hit goal before the end and now have a challenging schedule if I want to get the minimum in. I am pretty sure that Jessica (Verbqueen) has done abbreviated rounds multiple times and she hasn't seemed to have issues. And if there is any place to ask this question, it would be the rogues' thread as those guys will often go on and off.

Theresa, of course we love you unconditionally! Sunny, I did the same thing with the Publix wings, and it was OK, so maybe that will be good for you. I went 18 hours without calories, and hope to hit 16 tomorrow. My last bite was at 6 p.m. and I can wait until 12 to eat tomorrow. The black coffee/with liquid splenda has been ok, not my favorite. Of course, upon arrival home tonight I had a delicious cup of coconut cream coffee with HWC! Super Yummy!

Watching DDD with Guy, super yummy looking steaks!

Shelby, Sunny & Julie, I hope you ladies get your goals met. I still have 35-40 pounds to go, so at least 2 more rounds, and then I will be hit with the same dilemma. Good luck!

Sunny, here's hoping for you. Yeah, I'm doing the IF to try to stabilize! So tired of CD's every other day. I keep staying on the edge......

Jeanette-ooh, IF? THat's intriguing. You'll have to be my guinea pig. Let me knwo what you think a few days into it. If I eat *enough* I don't usually eat after dinner. And, does coffee count as "eating"? If I could just have coffee for bfast I'd be happy. I'm trying the opposite - Leptin reset (kinda'). 50 g of protein 30 min w.i. of waking up is HARD!! Hope this works well for you and your weight settles down.

I just had GY. Why is that so good? It's just yummy!! I know it's not Atkins, but it P3 friendly. Hope I can get back in window w/ it. I may just decide to do a GYCD just to eat it all day!!

Played softball tonight. I got a double!! It was a good night, but HOT!! 104 when we were out there at 6:30, but the sun was setting by the end. We lost, but it was fun!!

Got hot water again so I'm off to shower!!

Jodie, you too, a big hee-haw for you girly bop! So proud of my peeps! I was at 168.0 this morning, so EXCITED! That's only half a pound above my LIW. Maybe, just maybe, I'm beginning to stabilize this round. After all, I'm on Day 18!!!!
Today was a big drop (2.8 lbs!!!) It seems to be just how my body works...
As to stabilizing...last round P3 was great and P4 was a bit of a crazy time for me...just keep on keeping on...

Sunny...I keep finding more and more...if it's store bought or produced in a restaurant, my MIND seems to want it more (guess I love it when someone else cooks!!!) In the long run, you need to make your lifestyle work for you. Part of the daily weigh is allowing you to do this.
Hang in!

Jodie!! Getting hot here in AZ!! I'm heading to NCal in Nov w/ our BFFS (starting in DL area then driving up around Thanksgiving). Can't wait!!
106f was the hi here today...Went to Talking Stick Casino (the buffet) for dinner...this was one of the times I was not POP. (closer to P3-POP.)..and I know it was emotional eating on some level...AND I know it may slow down my losses...this was the first time in 38 days I "broke plan"...then again...DH only turns 60 once

I want to be in the 130's, even for a few days just to be there. Eventually I'd love to maintain in the low 140's. Or even the mid 140's. I'm not unhappy here, but I gain right up and out of the 140's quite easily, and would prefer to have more wiggle room. SO, if I can get down to the low 140's (about 10 lbs) and stay there I'll call GOAL and stop losing weight. I keep doing this, lowering my goal once I get where I have never been before. I'm just never happy!! Need to work on this!!

BBL!!
One of the things I read on another list was folks looking at the DUKAN diet...and figuring out their "approximate " end weight...and for most ...it was higher than they thought. (True Weight calculator link here: The Dukan Method: The Best Way to Lose Weight)

The calculator I've been using is located here: Ideal Weight and Calorie Calculator and I use both sides to calculate a range...since I have no REAL idea of what a good weight for me would be at this age! (I'm 57. and 5'4" tall) I walk in the pool close to 7 times a week for an hour (I usually miss no more than 2 days in a month, unless I'm traveling.) and I still consider my exercise to be moderate. Hope these links help.

As to my weight...today I was at a new low 215.2 (drop of 2.8 lbs.) I may go up tomorrow, I may not with tonight's meal...and I'm ok with that (well...at least for now)...will let you know WHAT I weigh in the AM.

Hey ladies!

My tummy has NOT been happy since having those wings!! Major gastrointestinal upset!!! Maybe I should think of it as a cleanse lol!!! Whatever was in them my body DID NOT agree with it, omg!!! Not the best way to spend my evening...sigh'

Woke up with tum tum still not happy, eeek!!! Took some pepto and hoping it settles soon. The bright side is I won't be eating Publix wings anytime soon lol

Hubby made me for lunch a broccoli stuffed yellow pepper with some cheddar on top. It was so good!!! Having that with a chicken thigh and for breakfast not sure because my stomach is very unhappy...

Was nervous to weigh in, and am at 138.0

Don't know what to do as I'm not ready for a CD...might just do the no eating all day and having a big steak for dinner and an apple OR a multi protein day with GY, chicken thighs and a steak for dinner...no veggies...that worked for me before...

Ugh!!!!

jodie have fun celebrating, 60 years is awesome!

julie, so far, i like it. I finished last meal at 6 pm and will have lunch at 12 today. No calories in between, so I have cream-less coffee (i know a tragedy) to help me wake up.

sunny, so sorry sweets, that stinks! My protein day worked great! You are only .2 out of your window, so sometimes eating clean will bump you back in the next day.

I weighed in at 167.5! YIPPEE, this round has been such a stinking struggle. I think this is the closest I've been to LIW in weeks! woot! woot!

Have a great day! Going to eat at Golden Corral today so that may mess me up. I will stick to meats/veg/cheese but as everyone says, you never know!

Yay Jeanette!!!!! That's awesome

I'm eating what I had packed today but buying some thighs after work and having them tomorrow. Irregardless of what the scale says...having a thigh day tomorrow with half an avocado for dinner. Last time I lost 2 pounds so here is to hoping it works again!!

Still feel bummed though...staying within LIW I know is going to be a struggle so I might do a short round in End of July just to get down to 130 or even 125 so I can have that five pound wiggle room I end up with once I add carbs. Right now that would put me in 140 and that is not ok

Ah well...maybe I'll luck out in P4 and lose these last stinkin pounds once I add in my complex carbs and exercise!

Morning ladies!

Sorry I've been MIA, been a super busy weekend! I'll be back later for personals!

I'm still hanging in my window, happy but wish I could get back to 119. LDW is 121.4, I'm at 122, but I'm still exercising (treadmill and a little light weights), and I had a lot of manual labor in the yard the last 3 days.
If I never carry & spread another bag of mulch, I'll be happy! I'm so sore I can hardly walk!

Hope you all are doing ok, sorry for the by, just didn't want to get too far behind!

Have a great day!
Tonya

Plan your celebration days...

Well, the 60th dinner was at a casino buffet near here...Had a delightful dinner with friends! I had no booze, no obvious sugars (desserts), and no obvious starches (bread, potatoes, corn)...But I DID eat P3.

Up 4.2 lbs. and not surprised.

Back to my regularly scheduled P2-POP days....

Thank you for those links. I will go check them out. I am large framed, and do work out, but I am still padded. I think that will likely always be the case. I go back and forth between being "done" and still wanting more (or actually less ). I can't decide if it's just not being content w/ my body, or if I really truly do need to lose more weight and am just being lazy? I've been working on this for 10 years, with a good level of success. But, when will I truly be "done". Need to work these things out. That's sweet you guys celebrated dh's 60th!! My 43rd is Saturday and we're trying to decide what to do. Our local BFF's want to go out. Did you like Talking Stick? Not sure where to go.

Sunny-you know that jump on the scale is just water from that starch. Tomorrow it'll be gone. Just stick to clean eating today (as you have planned) and I'm sure you'll be down at least 1 lb tomorrow.

Jeanette-great job!! WTG!! Be careful at that buffet. I'm always overdoing it when I can!!

Theresa- hope you're feeling better today!! You're almost through this stressful time. Take a little break from thinking and worrying about it. Enjoy the remaining time where you are.

I'm coming back down, but still WAY out of my window. I'm going to try the egg/burger CD today. Sounds good to me, and I have the stuff on hand. Then we'll see where I am tomorrow. If I can get back to the top of my window before Saturday I'll be happy.

I am halfheartedly planning to start another round on Sunday. But, I don't think I'll be able to do a clean 21 days. I may push it back to mid July (after my anniversary July 4th) instead. Still mulling. I'm a conflicted thing these days!!

Played softball last night in 104deg temps!! ARGH!! But I got a double and batted in 2 runs w/ an RBI my next time up. Good night! Hitting the gym today and Thursday. Def. curious about building up my metabolism. If I postpone my round, that'll be my focus for a while.

Thanks Julie!

Either way in prepping my thighs lol...that sounded...strange?

If I'm down I'll add veggies

So I got my evaluation for the year and the nutjob labeled me "effective" psshhht...whateva!

Had a super crappy day, unwinding with some vino...not clean lol but it's either that or cry!!

It's a Buffet. P3/P4 choices abound. You could pick and choose for P2...but probably still more salt than you'd like. Chicken and Steak available, and salad stuff. Smoked Salmon, grilled veggies and then buffet sections of mexican/asian/italian-antipasto-pizza...

I think (like Casino Arizona) they may have daily specials...like seafood buffet on Friday (but I'm NOT sure...check online or call...)

Talking Stick has a larger buffet than Casino Arizona.

Ok, TMI question (probably a revelation actually!) here.....I wanted froyo....like a mad woman i get up, put clothes on, go out in the rain to get my froyo....let's not forget this downward debaucherous slide into food He!! began a few weeks ago with a bite of a brownie! Well, i get there and all they have is fat free. I DON'T WANT FAT FREE! YUK So, i get back in my car, in the rain and go across the street to cold stone! They never fail to please! Keep in mind here...mad obsessive woman wanting ice cream STAY OUT OF MA WAY! I get my ice cream (chocolate malt devotion! ) I'm a happy girl! Get back in the car, come home....curl up with the dogs and watch chopped....happy girl! Well, not ten minutes after i take my last bite...uh oh! Here comes the TMI.....thankfully my lil restroom is two steps from my bed! Oh yeah.....it wasn't purdy! and I don't think i'm done..... If it had came 'up' i would think my system just wasn't used to it.....BUT since it rushed out the 'other way' that leads me to think....dairy intolerance in a wicked way?

Sorry for the tmi....but maybe this is a good thing? though i love me some dairy! What would ya'll say?

My tummy has been pi$$ed off since I ate those Publix wings lol....it sucks! Maybe it's the fat content with sweetness? The first time in P4 I had gelato I had a wonderful toilet visit but not the next time...do you get that way if you have cheese?

Well I am so tired still, yesterday was stressful and today not much better but I will be testing (when am I not?) Thursday and Friday and at this rate I am welcoming sittin in a chair staring at the kids test on a computer!

Have my thighs ready, had hubby wanting one and I was like don't you dare touch the thighs lol!!

My birthday is in my first day of P4 so I can't even have cake, booo hooo!!
I'll have to ask for a reschedule lol!

I'm at 136.8 today, yay! So still eating thighs but adding veggies and avocado too so it won't really be a full CD
Have a good day, running late as usual lol

I think (like Casino Arizona) they may have daily specials...like seafood buffet on Friday (but I'm NOT sure...check online or call...)

Talking Stick has a larger buffet than Casino Arizona.
Thanks!! Haven't done the Casino AZ one yet either, my brother and sil live right down the street from there too! I'll see what dh and my friends are up for. I am not used to getting to choose I'm not doing P2. So, anything goes

Sunny-see? Told you :P Glad you prepped your thighs ( def an odd saying!) and have a good day planned. You may have some nice wiggle room heading into the weekend. Clearly the vino didn't hurt - so enjoy!!!

Natasha-good to see you!! I gained 10lbs on my vacation. It's coming back off (slowly). Only 2lbs to where I was when I left, and 1 more to window after that. But I'm eating fun this weekend and will need to CD next week. It's fine w. me. Part of maintaining.

Theresa-sorry for the visit from Rhea. Like Sunny said could be a "first time back on the ice cream saddle" issue. I'd try it again (but only b/c I love ice cream!!). Froyo has the bacteria which helps digestion, so that might be a good option. You can usually find a low-fat one in the froyo places. Most are fat free, but don't taste like it. Try the dulce de leche if you can find it!!

I kinda' adjusted my CD yesterday. Did egg/burger twice, worked out hard, shopped, then had some Voskos (GY). It was too yummy to pass it up!! Then I had a cowboy buger and ceasar salad for dinnner. I'm still down 2.2 today and feel really good. Like a lot of that water retention is gone. Feel lighter and slimmer. It's all good!! I'm not doing another round. I'm going to just enjoy maintenance for a while. Exercise well, eat well, sleep well. That's the plan.

arrrgh, I'm having problems this round. I've been really good about eating under 600 calories, day 4, and only down 3 lbs. THE 3 LBS I LOST AFTER DAY 1. I'm going to do 500ish calories today, and if no movement tomorrow, once I'm done cursing, I'll go up around 750 calories. arrrgh.

gotta run to work...will pop in later!

I had sworn off dairy but backslid into GY - so decided to "try" to do a GY/berry CD today and see what happens. Then tomorrow I will probably do thighs.

Hi all. Sorry for the late post, today was my last day of school and I had a meeting at 3:30 that lasted until 5:00, which is CRAZY!

I was 169.5 so on the edge of my window....dang it! Well, all that food was very salty yesterday. I was good today, I think. Still too much salt with the parm/romano crusted chicken wings I made (they weren't that good btw). Those cheeses have a lot of salt. Enjoying my coconut cream coffee with HWC, which I'm now out of! Phffft! That stuff is so stinkin' expensive too!

My budget has been super restricted with the wedding and all! Oh, I got my MOB dress, it's beautiful! I will post pictures on Saturday. I even got super high heels YIKES-A-RAMA!

Lots of love, sorry for the lack of personals! MWA!

Woo Jeanette - Can't wait to see pics!

SUnny - I did an 18 day round. I just couldn't keep going...I stabilized just fine. Lots of people have stopped HCG and moved to JUDDD and didn't complete the min 21 days and have done fine. So it's worth a try if you wish...

So excited for you mother of the bride!!!! Yay!!!!!!! And sexy heels, way to go you hot mama you!!

I remember how excited my mom was planning my wedding LOL...we would go to Michael's literally every week, between that and eBay I totally want to renew our vows once we hit year 20...we hit year 10 in 3 years, total craziness!!!

So I ate an entire hass avocado with just a spoon...LOL...so yummy...and am trying to master the iced coffee technique. I think I need to make the coffee stronger because it ends up too weak after I add the ice. Had my modified thigh day to which I added celery and marie's blue cheese for lunch and my avocado for dinner. How am I not tired of chicken thighs I won't know LOL...
