We call her the Nordic Princess as she has red and blond hair.

I am not on HCG, but will do a round after the holidays. Right now just eating high fat, low carb. Just ate salmon cooked in butter for breakfast. I did not over eat over seas. Way too much deli meat and bread and they have a thing for Nutella which I do not! hahah. I was so tired the first 4 days, I probably managed one meal a day. Glad to come home not feeling like a stuffed sausage.

Hope everyone has a lovely holiday season and Happy New Year. Wow, 2013 on our heals.

Baby Freyja; a week old here

hahah...diaper head.

Our first encounter;

I got to change her first diaper:

Check this hair out. My DD had a lot of hair too. But it was dark brown with blond highlights.

She is beautiful Stevie! I was just asking about whether anyone had heard if Freyja had been born yet! I am loving being a new Nana myself. Isn't it great?!

I love this new term "grand mothers." I'm going to use that when I become one. If I'm still alive.

Yes, that is my Zoe! She will be four weeks tomorrow. She was 6lb 13oz. when she was born, and not much more than that now, so still a tiny thing to hold. I have more pictures in my profile if you'd like to see.

Big hugs on not being closer to your baby girl Oma! I know that is tough.

Julie – hang onto the 140s girl. I can’t wait to get there! You’re parents got married in a blizzard? What a fun love story!

BTW, I will be 48 but edging closer to 50! I love birthdays! Such a great reason to celebrate!

YIPPEE DOODLES C’MARIE, you’re graduating in two days! Wowza, so proud of you! You totally ROCK! Focus on that for now…way to take care of yourself sweet lady! I hope you’re feeling fabulous today! Praying for you!

Amy, “25” LOL BWAHHHHA! You’re cracking me up girl! Love ya for that! MWA! I hope to be exercising soon!

Berta, OMgoodness, I’ve been there. I’m there now! I’m up 6 from my LIW, 4 out of the window. I have my chicken thighs all cooked and ready for a chicken thigh day today! Hopefully, I can knock the stupid carb addiction out of my system (I love carbs, and I am a carb addict). Praying for you sweet lady!

Stevie I wish you could see the drool of love! What a precious baby. My daughter just got married, and I’m already to be a grammie! I can’t wait! My SIL doesn’t want kids though, so not sure that I’ll get any any time soon! Precious! And you sure DON’T look like an OMA! Woot! Woot!

Junkn – you’re a doll! Thanks for the compliment! Is that your cutie pie in your avatar pic? He’s a sweetie!

Dawn – How’s your round? Here’s hoping for you! I don’t know how you do it during the holidays! You are amazing!

Buttah – I’m right there with you…

Koo- what a sweet baby girl you have too! Love the term Nana and Oma, so precious! I’m already dreaming of names I will be called…

I’m still up but at least I finally STOPPED gaining. Chicken thigh day, and a true one at that. I have 6 cooked chicken thighs with me so there is NO EXCUSE to eat anything else. I have PTA tonight, so I won’t be home until late anyway!

Hugs to you all!

Jeanette--you are so sweet!! Good luck on your chicken thigh day. Thighs......yum!! I could use a few right now LOL. I am tired of chicken breast already LOL. Ah it is OK though because I am down about 5 lbs already!!! I am lower than I was on Sat!!! So worth it to me. I have had soup every day because it is so cold and the soup just sounds so good. I have decided to eat what I want and not force myself with any thing like I have in previous rounds. That means I won't get too many veggies, but that is fine with me!!!

Are you just counting calories then? I'm interested in that too. Are you eating your grissini? I am always curious about the "low carbness" of the orange and bread sticks. So happy for you!

I love that name! I was 6.6 at birth. My kids were 7. So funny Freyja is 8.12! She is now a bit lighter which is normal. And yes, thank you for hug. I may not see them till the summer. Very hard to process that but I rest knowing DD is a good mamma.

Hi all...well wishes and thank you for the kind words.

I wonder how many are doing a round come January?

No. I am not counting calories. Just eating on plan and not going over on portions. I am not doing the grissini or melba and wondered just this morning if I should include them or not. The jury is still out on them--I have the melba, just haven't opened a new pack. Don't know if I will. I am not doing oranges either. I just cannot see eating them on plan. That is my quirk. I do allow cream in my coffee. Now that cream is dependent on what I have in the house. Right now I am cutting it half and half with fat free half and half. I have cut down to 2 cups a day of that too. It was 3 cups a day I am losing so I am going with that. Once I slow down (usually between weeks 2 and 3) I am going to try a fat fast. So I guess this round won't be too protocol LOL. Or maybe try Biz's additions of clean fats. I don't know, but I DO know that I want to get to goal and know that once I hit 120, I will have to do something to make it this time. Shake things up a bit

Mornin ladies! Happy Friday!!

Julie - How are things going today? The snow here is still a little questionable, with the patterns of snow/no snow/melt/etc it's not good for backcountry but somewhat okay for resort. The BF and I will probably stay up in the mountains this weekend. If the snow is not 'worth' it then I'll just relax and read, watch food network or surf the internet

Hi girly bops! Wow, how our world changed in the last 36 hours! Praying you are all safe and sound.

Here's hoping the whoosh fairy visits soon. I hope she comes to my house tonight while I'm sleeping. I need to get these 4 pounds off before Christmas. I'm 157.5 today (4+ over LIW).

Have a good evening and be blessed!

I hope your DSIL changes his mind. Having little ones in the family is the best!

Now that my dd, 18 has been asked to be "Nanny" or godmother. I might have to change from Nana if it sounds too close. I have liked Mimi before, my dd used to call my mom that when she was younger but then realized everyone else called her Grannie and moved on.

So quiet in the HCG forum today. I guess it's the holidays. Today was my second round's VLCD1. Not going to post all the redundant stuff I've posted in the other threads, just thought I'd come here and hear my echo-o-o. Excited to see what happens tomorrow on the scale, when I wake up to VLCD2.

KOO, I hope he does too. He's so NOT family oriented. My daughter knew this marrying him, but now she's upset that he doesn't want to come over Christmas (they live close) because he wants to sleep in. My daughter is so young, I believe she really thought she could change him. Although she did talk him into marrying her when he was a confirmed bachelor

Buttah WTG on your round! You are very brave indeed doing a round during the holidays.

Berta, I'm right there with you. I am 7.5 above LIW, not because I'm cheating all the time. I've only had 3 days, that's right THREE days, that I've cheated. My body just can't handle the carbs. YIKES-A-RAMA, the drama! Hope your Steak CD nets you a good loss!

I'm determined to lose 5 pounds before Sunday. Do you ladies think I can do it? Sunday is my birthday!

I don't start a new round until February (between Rounds 4 & 5 wait 20 weeks) so I can't wait to get it off, I have to take action now!

Love and hugs!
