Quick drive by....at 172.5 this morning, 3 pounds out of my window....arghhh! Enjoyed the 3rd too much that I only had ribs and fauxtato salad on the 4th (low carb). Today eating about the same today. Busy week coming up. Hubs and I are going to take care of his mom (she's bed-ridden) while his sister goes on a much needed vacation. May not have internet there. I will check back in. Sorry for my lack of personals, but I did read everything.
Good luck to those on P2, hang in there tight for those in P3 and weeeeeeeeee for those in P4. Big hugs, and hope the scale is kind to us all tomorrow!

Okay so I am going to speak with hubby about spending the money for the shots. I have a huge supply of the homeopathic drops, but I want to try the real hormone next. I am not convinced that the homeopathic drops really resets my hypothalmos. (however you spell that)

I tried it before, but couldn't hang. I went carb crazy and then I tried LC on it but couldn't figure out how to do 500 calories and LC on DDs. I think I've got the 500 calorie thing down now by doing HCG. JUDDD seems like a great transition from HCG It will be a while though cause I have 80 pounds or so to lose.. |

![]() I went carb crazy my first week on JUDDD and still lost 4.2 lbs. It was awesome. But when I say carb crazy, I mean I kept my carbs to a brownie or cookie. Not a biscuit for breakfast, a sandwich for lunch with dessert, and then pasta for dinner. I just don't do those carbs. I am more of a sweets person. I did a half bag of Crunch bars on one of my UDs and still lost after that next DD. It is an amazing plan, one that I can live with. The way to do the DDs and LC is just stick to protein. That makes it so simple and easy. That is what I like to do anyhow. Good luck while on JUDDD! When are you starting?

Good morning lovely ladies
![]() I have been MIA since Tuesday. Super-busy & tired. I spent all day in the sun at a water park/car show (we have a restored 1970 Camaro)/fireworks show on the 4th, and of course I have been zapped w/ water retention ...happens every time if I spend lots of time in the heat--here in good ole' TX. Yesterday, I was extremely tired & my lower back aches...along with all my daycare kiddos...they were tired, GRUMPY, and just did not get along w/ each other at all. So...I am exactly the same weight since Tuesday, up/down/STS...I know eventually it will whoosh...I have been following protocol to a T. I have noticed that I am slimmer through the hips...that is my most problem area...seems to hardly shrink...even if I look like a skeleton on top. I am out of all my meats as of today...not sure if I will do eggs or do cottage cheese for lunch, I do have canned chicken & tuna I gotta get to the grocery store tonight after daycare is gone.I haven't had TOM yet...it's either late by 5-6 days or it may skip...it's not the first time I've skipped before (even off of hHCG). Great job to all the losers ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() (((HUGS))) to all those who are struggling...hang in there...it will turn around.

Mornin ladies!
Quick drive by before I head out for the day. Travel does NOT like me!!! I am up up up up today. Ugh. Had a tuna packet for breakfast, will probably focus on protein for lunch/dinner so it will end up being a pseudo protein day. Might grab some coffee with HWC too. *sigh* Wish I didn't have to do this while on vacation - at this rate I'll need to jump back to P2 when I get home. Anyone have thoughts or suggestions? hope you all have a great day! |

Amy-stick to LC and keep it as clean as possilbe. Drink plenty of water and try to get plenty of sleep. That will all help minimize the gain and help you lose it again. You'll be fine. Try to relax and enjoy your trip!
Adeline- that's not bad at all!! Not sure how the Rx will go for you, but I really prefer the pellets to the drops. Curbed my hunger way better and gave me nice boost of energy. I agree w. you completely about the idol thing. It's certainly a symptom of bigger problems. It's ironic in Christian circles that "fellowship" always centers around food!! Gluttony is a sin like many others, yet somehow it's socially acceptable to gorge ourselves? I'm working on separating celebration and socialization from food. Trying to find other ways to celebrate and reward/incentivize myself and my kids. I don't want them to struggle like I always have. Sunny-I'm glad you're able to eat well at this weight!! That's a major victory!! I hope to be able to eat well at the end of this round. It's quite a journey to figure out why we got heavy in the first place, to "fix" what we can and find new ways to live healthy lives. It's all a process. I'm not sure we'll every "arrive" or truly be "done", but we are WAY better off than we used to be. I've resigned myself to always having to be careful and watch, keep an eye on the scale and correct when necessary. In all, I'd still rather be "normal" and healthy with a bit of maintenance effort, is better than regaining it all back and having to work 3x as hard to re-lose it all!! Sigh. That said, I'm actually not unhappy with the weight I am. I'm doing this P2 to fit comfortably back into my clothes and feel a bit lighter. It's all good. I'll get there and put more focus on staying there this time. Even if I gain easily and clearly have a less than optimal metabolism. I dont' want to relose again. I'm also keeping exercise in this P2 and won't have that 2-3lb exercise gain to fight when I transition to P3 this time. Hope you all have a good weekend!! That's the hardest part of P2 for me. The weekend social eating. I'll look for small hamburgers off the bun if we go out this weekend. It's so hard though!! But temporary, and makes me appreciate P3 once I get there!!

It's no wonder the fall had it's vehicle as food. Food seems to be such a pitfall and especially acceptable in Christian circles. Social eating is a huge challenge. I noticed they have McDonalds all over Israel now and that more people are considerably overweight. Years ago it was taboo. Israel has become Americanized in some destructive ways. |

Adeline it's like in Puerto Rico, years ago it was hard to find fast food centers now it's all you see. Finding local criollo cuisine is hard, but you will find in every corner, church's chicken, kfc, mcdonalds, wendys, taco bell, burger king, pizza hut, dominos...it's ridiculous. Mostly everyone I know is overweight now too, in fact the majority of everyone over the age of 25 is heavy in the island. Really unfortunate how the "Americanized" way has led to overweight countries. I read that even in China now and Japan they are battling the bulge due to the fast food industry. Really scary...

That is sad!! Bad enough we do it here in the States, but now we've exported our obesity. Fast food isn't anyone's friend. I do too much of it w. my fam still.
A few nights a week usually. In-n-out burger usually. All fresh beef burgers, no buns. But I do usually let my girls split a fry, also made fresh from potatoes. I will occasionally do Freddy's burgers or Burger King - all bunless burgers. Think it's ok? Better than breaded fried stuff and buns, right? I know, I should just cook for my kids at home. There are many times we're out running around too much and it doesn't work out . I hope the damage is minimal. We try not to make it our lifestyle. As we're on the topic, have you guys looked at kid's menus? Macaroni-n-cheese, chicken nuggets and fries, cheese burgers and fries, spaghetti, and on rare occasions ribs. No, there's no plan to create a generation of obese children. It's so hard. My girls would choose chicken cesar salad, or grilled chicken w. brocolli if offered. Actually, ther are a few places that offer grilled chicken, but they usually want the junk options instead. Sigh. We push for fruit on the side instead of fries. Sigh. Definitely need to make more of a consistent effort to make sure my girls eat healthily. Well, lunch done, apple done, wiaitng for dinner. Def a bit of hunger, but manageable. Need to be out mroe. Going for a nice day hike tomorrow, but that's tricky on P2. What would you pack? Cottage cheese? Apple. Not sure about dinner. It'll probably be on the road. Bunless burger I suppose. Just musing |

I got back last night and weighed this morning after a week. I was below my LIW, which was great. On the 4th, I had a very small handful of potato chips. I'm on JUDDD, and was doing it P3-style. I counted everything within my calorie alotment. BUT potato chips are NOT P3. I realize I have transitioned to JUDDD for 2 weeks after P2 and am doing well. The DD after the 4th showed me still at below LIW. So that brings me to today. I had about an ounce of taco chips at a mex restaurant with a taco salad (did not eat the shell) and about a tablespoon or so of beans off a friend's plate. I have been on maintenance 2 weeks, not 3. I hope I don't blow up like a balloon, but I will do an almost all-protein day tomorrow with my DD anyway and will not weigh until after tomorrow. I can feel my fingers swelling from the sodium right now. Oh well, an old friend from high school was in town and he was treating LOL... so tequila (no sugar, just lime) and a small amount of chips won't kill me on JUDDD. I hope. What can I say but it sounded like a good idea at the time to "experiment" with it from being stable on JUDDD. I know some go to JUDDD and immediately go to eating starch/sugar and skip P3 no starch/no sugar rule. I wasn't going to do that. I was going to stick to P3 rules for the three weeks. It looks like I'm starting P4 a week and a couple days early in the starch trials. This (the 4th and tonight) is the very first time I have EVER "cheated" on P3. Do I look for the lightening from the sky from the left or from the right?!

I'm plugging away. Day 3 of 500cals. Ok so far. Making peace w. black sweetened coffee. Not the treat I used to enjoy, but a decent bfast on this plan. Wanted to go hiking today but the fam is slow getting moving. I don't want to just sit in the house all day. But road trips and spontaneous outings are tough on P2. We'll see what the day brings. |

Are you ready for this? only up .2 this morning. Doing a down day today but coming in at about 700 calories, not 500. I only did the first 3 down days at 500, decided to do "maintenance" mode so 600-700, even had some 800's, on JUDDD since I wanted to stay within 2 pounds of my LIW and I had started to lose a little and don't want to right now, want to stabilize in P3. Also, frankly, being on 500 calories with hcg didn't want to if I didn't have to with JUDDD!
I can tell you, doing JUDDD right after hcg was hard, but this is the easiest and most peaceful transition to P3 that I've ever had. Knowing every down day that I *could* eat more the following day, and that I could keep myself in line calorie wise, was very nice. I have had up days that were 1900-2200 calories but most were 1700-1800. I find monitoring my calories not as annoying as I thought it would be. I'm sure at some point I'll get tired of it, but I'm sure not tired of seeing the scale stay right where it is! @Julie, no, nothing on the hip yet. Since I didn't do a solid 2 weeks of 500-calorie down days I know my Sirt1 bucket is not filled up yet. It takes awhile longer at higher DD calories. But I was just too depleted from P2 to do it full on JUDDD induction for 2 weeks. Last edited by C'Marie; 07-07-2012 at 08:41 PM.. |

Hello ladies~
Happy Glorious Sunday! I have been doing well. Woke up to another whoosh... -1.4 this morning... -.8 yesterday. Must be all the water retention release from the 4th...YAY! Can't pinpoint what else it would be. I'm eating on protocol...have added more beef this week. Been trying to eat all the food. I just feel so weird when I eat everything for the day...like I pigged-out and feel a lil' guilty ![]() Funny thing was...I was kinda dreading 221 because I maintained there for 3+ months a couple of years ago...literally +/- a pound. Thought for sure it would be a set-point for me. BUT...I totally skipped over it...222.0 yesterday/220.6 today ![]() I've noticed this week a NSV: my computer chair is bigger & clothes are definitely looser. Cute dresses I haven't worn in a few years are fitting and actually look cute on. I deal with hip/panni issues...but wearing a tight control brief is helping. At least I don't look as weird and out of proportion: skeleton on top/blimp on bottom. I'm excited about school starting in Sept. because I haven't seen my co-workers since May, and they will be surprised ![]() Gotta run...getting ready for church to hear the Word!!! ![]() See you all lighter!!! Have a Blessed Sunday!!! |
