With my rate of loss I'm pondering if I still have some 'abnormal' fat to burn through. We'll see how the next few days go while I'm traveling and I'll determine if I'm done done or if I'll take the trip as an interruption and jump back on for a week or two. Has anyone done that?

Hey all!!

Weighing in at 139.6, so another 6 oz loss. Had yesterday eggs for breakfast, scone for lunch, two huge bowls of cafe au lait, snack was some dark chocolate, and dinner hubby made me a Goats cheese and spinach stuffed pork chop. It was huge, like huge LOL....and I ate it all!!! I also had 3 glasses of Pinot Gris

Today thus far had my whole wheat couscous with vanilla yogurt and honey. It's so darn tasty!!! Not sure about lunch, not sure about dinner either, but we shall see

So I decided I am not going to do HCG, I am going to try the new atkins as it incorporates whole grains and I like that. It also encourages exercise, which I am starting up again. I am not concerned about taking awhile to lose these last 8-10 pounds, I just want to be strong and be able to eat! I can't handle P2, and I can't handle another bout of depression due to being in P2. Let's see how this goes! Figure I'll read up on it and start it the end of July.

I just don't think I can handle it...so...looking into Atkins, the newer way, to lose these last pounds. I just feel like HCG is making me more carb sensitive with each round and I don't want to be where I eat a piece of whole grain toast or oatmeal and shoot up 5 pounds...
Internal struggle ya know...

Anyhow, I too usually lose my 15 the first 20ish days, but I always chug along to lose a few more...how I have done three 40 day rounds I have no clue...LOL....
Im in agreement with being so carb AND sodium sensitive! (for me) I have always been a water retainer but this is crazy! Im not completely sure though if it's because im weighing myself more often so i notice it more or what?

YOur losses are simply amazing.I wish I would loose like that.BUT I have Thyroid issues too soo it is slower and I have to take diuretics.

I am taking an interutption for a week starting the 13-19.But my 23day round is up the 8th so I too am trying to decide if I want to continue on PH3 when we get back or go on and do a 40 day round on PH2. Decisions, decisions
Actually I only did on week of PH4 before I went back to PH2 but I did a full three weeks of PH3.

Hello ladies

I am doing well...still

I had a lil' gain yesterday...but kinda expected it as I have had great losses this week & I had tummy problems...so I'm sure I had released extra stuff (TMI!) I normally wouldn't have & my body re-compensated for it. I had a .6 loss this morning. I was pondering what had caused me to have a jump on weight loss again. I was in the sun all day last Sunday before last which stalled me for a day or two...then played with 1/2 pound up & down...grrr. BUT...I lost INCHES I decided to do a mini-steak day and I'm sure it has done me good. And what I have noticed...is that I have been eating more beef this week. Usually it is 2-3x a week, but lately I have eaten it 1x a day. I also caved in and ate a Dannon Oikos FF Greek yogurt (80 cal., 6 carb/sugar, 15 protein) one day while at my mom's house...they were doing italian sausages on the grill and no beef/chicken was thawed out. So...I think I may lose better with beef & a lil' bit of fat.

I was updating my NEW ticker bar and I realized that I am exactly HALF way to goal...I am so shocked...this has gone by sooooo fast...and it doesn't seem like it was too hard...lol...when I look back on it...but don't ask me that on a bad day

I hope everyone has a great day! Keep on truckin'...it really does work!!!!!!!!

Couscous does not taste like grits, it's very light and the whole wheat kind keeps you full.
Tastes kinda like bulgur wheat with a nutty taste.
It's very versatile and can be made savory or sweet. It's popular in the middle east and mediterranean. Easy peasy to cook too

Hi girls!!

Sunny-what's different w/ Atkins? Curious I hope you can lose well with that. I'm not sure what more you have left to lose either? You look great!! And bikini girl . I do have that in the back of my mind. I'm not as hormonally sensitive on hcg so I'm giving it 1 more round. I plan to stick to more strict LC as maintenance this time. Usually I push P4 too much, just because. I don't think I have anything to test or prove this time around.

Angela-congrats on your half way mark. WTG!!

Berta-hope your losses pick up for you. Even so, you're doing great!! Enjoy your upcoming trip!

Going back to P2. But enjoying my loading days today and tomorrow. I can't wait to lose this 10lbs. I hope it goes quickly and maybe takes a few extra friends w. it!! I'd really like the "typical" 15lbs a round brings. That's my plan. We'll see how it goes . It's worth it, right? Remind me in a week or so when I want to quit!!

Hey Jules!

Just induction is the difference, Otherwise I can't lose, I want to lose 8-10 more pounds, JUST so I can eat more LOL....gives me more wiggle room, know what I mean jelly bean?

So....I can lose weight without having to do a round of HCG...and I can exercise and keep my fats and not become a hot mess. I just can't do it anymore

And the new atkins encourages complex carbs which is great for me. I noticed with each round I was becoming more and more carb sensitive and I don't want to risk not being able to tolerate any if I do another round.

You're gonna do fabulous, I'll be here to cheer you on!!

Angela--you are doing so well.

Berta--You too!!! Way to go on a new decade!! WooHoo!!

Julie, cannot wait to see you lose along with us. My heart breaks to hear you doing so many CDs. I really hope this round is "it" for you!!

You will do it even if you don't get 5lbs in one week you can still accomplish what you want. Did you not loose on JUDDD? I am wondering as I am considering JUDDD on Ph4?

I did, but only on the first week. Week #2 was about a wash. It wasn't fast enough for me. I get spoiled with the losses on hcg. The constant going down gets addictive. I love hcg JUDDD will be a great maintenance tool for me and I cannot wait to start that!

I'm taking a break from packing for Toronto, waiting for laundry to finish up. Plans have slightly changed so I'm stopping in Cleveland first, then Toronto then Niagara! Woo!

Mornin ladies!!

Yeah JODIE!! You're doing awesome!!!

Weighed in today at 157.5/158. Probably a first day P3 bump, I've read about it but didn't want it to come, here it is. Had some tummy pain and issues yesterday so that didn't help I'm sure. Cannot do a protocol CD so I just have to wait it out and make the best choices available. GY and apple for breakfast, lunch will be on the plane - red peppers, celery and cucumber. Dinner will probably be bbq food - aka bunlesss burger and salad if available.

HUGS! I hope you all have a wonderful day!

I am the same way I even put in what supplements I use, how much water I drink and other beverages. I am a diary junkie. But I am getting tired of it. Took a few days off and now am back to it. Keeps me on the straight and narrow.

Happy 4th!!!

My update for today--down 2 lbs!!! Having ground beef patties cooked on the grill with a fresh tomato for lunch. Not sure of what else, but definitely will be protocol!

Amy it happens, I gained a pound and a half overnight this last P3...but I was able to stabilize eventually, took me almost 5 weeks
But if you're gonna do another round I wouldn't worry too much, just make sure you are drinking your water!!!!!!! I know that was a big culprit for me

I'm at 140.4, cuz I had a lot of couscous yesterday LOL....like even at night (so in total maybe 3 cups lol) and chocolate haha I also didn't get a visit from Bernice, so....it might weigh less....

Just had some couscous now, but used FAGE FF and cracker barrel's sugar free syrup instead of honey, yum!! I need to make my own cranberries as I know the dried ones have tons of sugar. Anywho, it is delish...just have to make sure the rest of my day is low carb because I am a stubborn gal who refuses to give up on my whole grains darnit!

hi guys! i asked this in another thread but think it got lost.

how much cabbage do you guys eat in one serving on p2?

i bought a whole cabbage and chopped it up and was unsure how long its supposed to last.

also is one whole cucumber considered one serving of veggies?

thanks!!

I used 2 cups of chopped (like angel hair fine) cabbage when in P2 for a meal...so for example, I'd brown some ground beef with a bit of broth and cayenne, paprika, garlic, salt, pepper, a bit of Braggs, cook it down, then add in the cabbage and cook it down a bit more. Really tasty, but it's funny now i can't stand that combo lol

Don't know about cucumbers as I can't stand them

I rarely eat lettuce because I can't stand it eaten alone w/o other veggies/bacon bits etc eggs and RANCH BUT I do eat a whole cucumber sprinkled with salt

Hi everyone!!! I have lost 8.2 lbs in 6 days and 10 1/4 inches (despite TOM & a coconut oil episode). I am so happy. I only hope i will get a big release soon because i have been losing .02 lb for 3 days. I think it could be because of my period which ended yesterday. Do you get a big release after your TOM???? Happy Releases!!!!

Never Forget where I came from!

Thank you for the wise advice. Coaching/counseling is a very good thing when we're stuck on an issue or in a rut. My coach, Dani Johnson, literally was used to save every area of my life. I attached some before photos so I can remember and share where I came from. I love you guys. Your support is a life saver.

Sunny-how's Atkins treating you? I hope you have a nice little whoosh and are right back to LDW!!

Berta-how're you doing today? Any cravings? Back on track?

Adeline-thanks for posting your "before" pics!! You really have come a long way!! See? Take a minute to celebrate your amazing progress!! I know you have some vacation gain to lose, and you know you'll do it. But don't throw the baby out w. that bathwater!! You're inspirational!! Thanks!!

Tameka- Congrats!! Hope your losses pick up soon!!

Junk-I can't have too much cabbage or it stalls me. I can dabble in it, so I usually have half a cup in my "servings" usually beef soups.

I just had sauteed beef and cabbage for lunch . I'm doing chicken lettuce "wraps" for dinner (mixing my veggie-such a rebel!!) Saving my apple for midday snack. I can do this!! 1 day at a time!

rest of the gang!! hope you're all doing well!! Waiting to drink after my second dose. I'd love to do the Rx simply for the ease of 1X a day dosing and not having to wait b/4 and after!!

What veggie are you mixing? I am guessing your chicken will be cooked with something and then wrapped in lettuce. My lunch was steak and tomato with strawberries and melba.

That is the ONLY drawback I find with the homeopathic. I hate the waiting game. Cannot wait to hear how your first day weigh in goes!!

I cook the chicken w. onions and seasonings (ginger, garlic, braggs, sweetener, bit of vinegar) then wrap in lettuce. The onion + lettuce isn't protocol, but I've not had any issues w. it.

Off to enjoy my apple and some more water!!
