oh no!!!

so today is supposed to be my first day of P3, I was so excited about my BAB. Well last night I got carried away and ended up eating a little bit of something I shouldn't have. Well I just got up to use the washroom and then go back to bed for a little while...and I got on the scale just to see....yep I'm over 2lbs of my LDW but I haven't had a BM yet...so I might not be over after that.... IF I do happen to stay over the 2lbs though do I still do a steak day on my very first day of P3 since I was an idiot and wasn't a good girl the day before I start P3????

You could do a CD, or just wait it out if exactly at +2 lbs. Eat super clean P3 and drink LOTS of water. Sticking to P3 is Sooooo important, if you feel like you will get out of hand or overindulge again get away from the temptation! It happens, we are human...what did you eat anyways?
Also don't weigh yourself until the following morning, never weigh at any other time of the day. I sometimes am up to 4 pounds over my morning weight in the evenings cuz I eat a lot usually and drink a crapload of coffee and water. So only weigh in the am after you use the bathroom but before eating or drinking anything.
Anyhow, take a deep breath, and move on! Just stick to P3 strictly. It's only 3 weeks so you can do it! I did it 3 times and survived lol...this time though I did P3 for a longer time, 4 weeks since I am trying to not do another round

Natasha - did those mystery pounds go bye bye yet?

Jeanette - BBQs are yummy! I usually end up being extra cautious becuase I've ended up having trust issues with folks that say things are "Amy Friendly" for me but they're not. Hope that extra .5 drops off soon!

Julie - When are you going to start your round? I hope it goes well!

Sunny - thanks for the recipe! I'll write it down for P4 Congrats on the loss!! You're kickin some booty!

154 today = LDW! Super happy that this P2 is nearing it's end. Had a rough night last night and this morning so far. I really wanted to have a 'YAY ME!' kind of weekend but some other stuff decided to barge in and frustrate/aggro me. Grr. Oh well, stuff happens and I just need to figure out how to not let it bother me. I'll start getting some stuff ready for Toronto tonight/tomorrow so at least I have that to look forward to!

Kick ass round Amy!!! Is this your goal weight? For being so tall that is an awesome weight, skinny thang!!! I'm like a lil flea next to you, barely making it to 5 ft. LOL!!!

So I was gonna do another round end of July, around the 26th...a short one, just to see if I can lose 10 more pounds...that would put me at 126 (if I go by my LIW) I just want some wiggle room so I can be comfy at 130 when I add back carbs...4 pound wiggle room works for me. However, I dunno if i have it in me to do another round, I would love to be able to do it before I begin work, this way by the time I am back at work I am in P3 again and don't have to explain my weird eating at a new job LOL!!! I suppose I have 26 days to decide right?
Jeanette you said you're starting end of July too right? Maybe we can do it together, the 26th is a Monday and I will be in St. Simon's for that weekend with my girls and can count it as my "load". Ah, decisions, decisions....I mean if I did 40 days and all three round averaged 35 days I can do 23 right? I just hate P2...well you all know what an emotional HOT mess I become and just not sure if I am ready, but again, I know i am not happy being in the upper 130's. If only I could lose 6 more pounds then I wouldn't need too! I just haven't seen many people lose more once they hit P4. Seems like another round is needed. I just don't want to push my luck as this last round I can tolerate less carbs than previous rounds and I fully believe the more you do this the more you screw with the chances of adding in carbs safely.
Ugh...

Ok done venting...

Off to stuff my face with tuna salad and avocado

sunny- i am 5'2 and after 2 days of loading i was 134.4.

this is my 3rd day of VLCD and i weighed 130.8 this morning.

my goal is to weigh 110. so i am not sure if one round will be enough. i would like to do the 40 days but will see how i feel at 21 days.

i am hoping and would be ecstatic if i could lose 20 pounds this round! but thats a really super high goal. i would be happy losing just 10-15 this round.

Hi!

I've done 3 rounds to get to where I am at...so 3 rounds to lose 40 pounds...
Last round was slooooow...lol

Good luck to you!!! I am hoping the weight loss fairy visits me so I can lose 5 more pounds without doing another round (once I reach my LIW again)
I just came back from a 5 day stuff-my-face-with-all-I-wanted feast in New Orleans. It was fabulous! I came back Thursday weighing 146 and as of this am at 140.8...so excited to know I can indulge for several days and lose it eating P3 for a few days

Is this your first round? I wish you lots of luck and hope you reach goal!

wow 40 lbs loss is great!! but 3 rounds sounds so long.... guess the less you need to lose the slower it goes

are you doing p3 or p4 now?

P4 for umm...almost 4 weeks now? Cuz yea I don't recommend going on a carb eating fest unless you have been in P4 for several weeks LOL

Yes the closer to goal you are the slower it is...my first round I was at 155 really fast...last two, not so much.

But don't let that deter you! Most of us are multiple rounders and made it lol!!
I just want to lose a few more pounds so i can have more wiggle room. I do eat carbs once in P4, usually like 80% of the time whole grains, but it adds 4-5 pounds to my weight and I feel it because I am so petite. I'm a size 8 now and happy, I have never been really skinny, just feel like doing another round to lose 10 pounds or less sounds like such a sacrifice lol....after you have done several rounds you do get tired but it is also so easy to do...3 weeks and done! I've never done a short round so it might not be so bad, it's once you hit day 30 that it gets harder, for me at least.

Make sure you drink your water!!! I found when I drank over 70 oz. my losses were better

Amy-congrats! What a great round! Good for you! I'll be starting VLC days the 5th. boo. But, I hope 3 weeks will get me back to or below LDW. I also plan to keep working out through P2 and hope all this metabolic resetting I've been doing will make stabilizing easier. We'll see.

Sunny-nice drop! So glad you're working back down! Wish I could drop more easily! Kutgw!

Jeanette-great job! Social eating is my biggest challenge! Good for you!

Bitsky-I'd eat clean P3 style rather than do a steak day, but that's just my opinion. Hope you get to enjoy P3.

I'm LCing it happily. Really wish I could lose real weight doing this!my body likes LC.

Angela - thanks! Yay 100! You're going to catch up with me quick yeah?

Sunny - Yep - 155 is my 'goal'(?) weight but I still have some work to do. I picked it because it's 100 down from my highest (that I'm aware of.. I'm sure it was higher than 255 at some point) AND it's smack dab in the middle of my 'healthy weight' range. Yeah I've got some flub and booty still so I need to work on that (just the flub, I'll keep the booty.) I'm in size 10/12s now so if I firm up some stuff I might end up in 8s/10s.. Not sure. I think you're on to a good idea about knocking out P2 before you're at your new location. It'd just be so much easier.. I can't even imagine myself being in the 140s but shoot, I dunno. Depending how my week in Toronto goes I might consider this as an 'interruption' and jump back on a little bit longer. If I can stabilize while there I might just stick it out.

Julie -

Manders - I went up quite a few pounds but dropped them all within the first 3 VLCDs - hope you lose yours quick!

hello girlfriends,

I've also been MIA for a while on vacation in Israel. The trip has been amazing. It's our last day in the Holy Land. I've been eating way too much. No scale here. Hubby must be seeing me burst at the seams. He got angry that I bought some cookies. He's right. I've worked way too hard to get where I'm at to totally sabotage myself. Now I have my work cut out for me. I think I'll need some coaching when I get back. I think he needs some too. We visited with two friends here in Israel that were very very heavy. My heart went out to them cause I remember what it felt like and I don't want to go back down that road, but I've been traveling there these past two weeks. I soooooo badly need to get back on track. OY! I cannot load in front of hubby. He has a HUGE aversion to seeing me eat alot. I have to own my issue. It's not his. Also there are lots of gorgeous women here. Some are scantily dressed and I told him to put his eyeballs back in his head yesterday. I know I'll have 30 lbs to lose when I get back. Looks like it will be a long round for me. HELP!

thanks so much for your encouragement. this is a once in a lifetime trip. I think hubby is miffed at me cause I ate the usual big israeli breakfast which consists of eggs, sour cream, cottage cheese, yellow cheese, cukes and tomatoes, yogurts and (bread which I don't partake of). I am realizing he's got some control issues when it comes to MY FOOD and WEIGHT. I don't mind encouragement or even input that I should be careful, but when it becomes an anger issue for him then WE have a problem and it's within him. I will never be 20 and 120 lbs again unfortunately. I don't want to look haggard and tons of drooping skin. I already have that on my belly and legs anyway and I hate it. I have to live with the damage I've done to myself from weighing nearly 300 lbs at one time and being only 5'1". It's all mine and I own it. His momma died at around 400 or 500 lbs and she was heavy all of her life. He weighs 142 tops and is 5'4" and thinks he's fat. that's his problem NOT MINE. I cannot let anyone control me or try to get up in "my koolade" when it comes to my own battle and it is a battle a LIFELONG one. I think he's afraid that as I get comfortable in our marriage, I will feel comfortable gaining and gaining. You can pray for me. I want to handle this correctly and I'm praying for he and I.

Morning lovely ladies!!!

Adeline, have you all considered counseling? I have to ask because I'm a counselor (school counselor and certified Licensed mental health therapist) and I have found that sometimes talking deep rooted issues out with a neutral party helps a lot. I went to counseling with my hubby because of my weight, it's the reason I started my HCG journey and it has helped tremendously. He didn't have an issue with me but I didn't love myself and felt he didn't want me because I was heavy, in my twisted mindset, I was ruining my marriage.
Thankfully I accepted that speaking to someone might good and it was. Also, as a counselor I am supposed to have someone to speak too anyways because the issues I deal with (not so much in school counseling but when I counsel part time couples) can be overwhelming.
I do hope you enjoyed your vacay and don't worry the weight does come off!!! I'm working on an 8 pound gain from New Orleans since Thursday and I have already lost 6 pounds

Weighed today in at 140.2 so I lost 6 oz. which surprised me cuz I ate a lot yesterday, full breakfast, lunch, dinner, had a piece of dark chocolate (ghirardelli) made an almond flour pecan scone, so ate that plus three glasses of wine lol....oh and publix rotisserie chicken which I know has sugar and starch in it.
So yea I am supremely happy that i lose 6 oz. LOL....
Today is what I call a "lax" day, which means only eggs for breakfast, lunch will be a scone...then dinner with some veggies. Not a lot of food at all, but being so petite I can get away with low calories every few days. Summertime equals no hunger for me, and I'll be at the beach today so I really do not get hungry.

What I DO need to work on is drinking more water instead of vino LOL....once I get off P3 I tend to become lazy with the H20....

I also need to get back to exercising...I figure I'll do it Wednesday, it will start raining then, so today and Tuesday are my beach days thankfully I live down the street from it!

Amy, I still am unsure of another round, hubby doesn't really want me too but he supports me either way, he keeps telling me to try exercising and see if that helps me reshape. I am flabby too and I have no ass...double whammy there LOL!!! Where did my butt go? I dunno...hmmm....I had a breast reduction last July, lost weight, and my fat shifted! LOL...

I know for me my weight fluctuated wildly during my first P3. Hang in there, and eat whole, clean foods as much as possible. I learned from Shelby what Clean P3 means, so here you go:

"clean P3 day"--no carbs, dairy, nuts, or artificial sweeteners. Just P2 foods, larger quantities, added fats in the form of real dressing, avocados, olive oil, etc. For today, pound some water with lemon or apple cider vinegar or both.

i am hoping and would be ecstatic if i could lose 20 pounds this round! but thats a really super high goal. i would be happy losing just 10-15 this round.

My friend who is very petite and needed to lose 15 pounds, did it with hCG, it works even if you only have a little to lose. Most importantly, don't cheat! Seriously, not even a little!

I think I gained exactly 7 pounds on my second round. If you load properly, this is not uncommon. I got down below that within the first week and still went on to lose 18 pounds. You can do it!

You can do this! I know right now you may feel somewhat powerless, but when you get back on your own turf, you can get back in the groove! I know you will grab that bull by the horns and tame the beast! It's hard. There's a quote that is something like, "being fat is hard, dieting is hard, choose your hard." You already KNOW what to do! Adeline, have you all considered counseling? Weighed today in at 140.2 so I lost 6 oz. which surprised me cuz I ate a lot yesterday, full breakfast, lunch, dinner, had a piece of dark chocolate (ghirardelli) made an almond flour pecan scone, so ate that plus three glasses of wine lol....oh and publix rotisserie chicken which I know has sugar and starch in it.
So yea I am supremely happy that i lose 6 oz. LOL....
Today is what I call a "lax" day, which means only eggs for breakfast, lunch will be a scone...then dinner with some veggies. Not a lot of food at all, but being so petite I can get away with low calories every few days. Summertime equals no hunger for me, and I'll be at the beach today so I really do not get hungry.

What I DO need to work on is drinking more water instead of vino LOL....once I get off P3 I tend to become lazy with the H20....

I also need to get back to exercising...I figure I'll do it Wednesday, it will start raining then, so today and Tuesday are my beach days thankfully I live down the street from it!

Amy, I still am unsure of another round, hubby doesn't really want me too but he supports me either way, he keeps telling me to try exercising and see if that helps me reshape. I am flabby too and I have no ass...double whammy there LOL!!! Where did my butt go? I dunno...hmmm....I had a breast reduction last July, lost weight, and my fat shifted! LOL...

I gained 10 my last round . I love loading!! But it was gone in 3-4 days. Many count that weight in the total loss, but I've always wanted to lose REAL weight. Good luck to you!!

It sounds like you're aware and working on this "stuff". Marriage is tough, and weight issues are tough. How long have you been married? Even w. a bit of gain from this trip, you're still doing great!! Take a breath. You used to weigh 300lbs!!! You're in the mid 100's now!! Impressive!! You're not losing control and gaining it all back. You are enjoying your once in a lifetime trip and living your life. You know how to lose, and you will. Don't rob yourself of this joyous time!!

I'm feeling fat today, which is actually good! I need to be good and disgusted to find the motivation to do a solid clean P2. Need to buy some apples, cabbage, lean GB and cucumbers. I remember that much .

Good luck on this round Julie!! Can I ask why you're doing it? You look amazing...

I'm still debating....will make a solid decision prior to leaving for my girls vacay...this way I have the shots ready when I come back, IF I decide to do it!!!

The beach was HOT...lol...I managed to stay for almost 2 hours though. I'm nice and tan...finally looking like a Puerto Rican lol . I was a site to see though, my face covered with SPF 60 cuz of my rosacea, and I mean coated...like my face was white LOL... and a huge Palm Beach hat and huge sunglasses...lol...Also Sporting my new bikini, yay! I have three different ones now...my tankinis are hidden! My motivation right there, I will not wear one again!

Having my coffee as we speak...mustn't forget the water today...I've only drank 3 glasses

Sunny- thanks! I'm definitely still padded. I'm up 10 lbs frOm my 148 . I'd try just LC but don't seem to lose on it anymore. Great for maintenance though. I'm looking forward to wearing my 8's again comfortably. Sigh! Great job on the bikinis! Even down 10 or 20 more pounds I couldn't wear a bikini. And I had to laugh at your description of your face at the beach, I never tan my face either. I covered all up with make up eventually but at the beach or pool I look ridiculous too.

Just picked up the angel hair cabbage from Walmart I'm ready to start my around in a few days. I'll get fresh ground beef on Wednesday and be back at it. I'm sure once I start seeing the scale go down I'll be more excited about this.

Dawn are you back on P2? I remember you saying you were...

I am debating doing another round. What stops me is the way my body goes nuts and I turn into an emotional hot mess on P2...scares the beegezus out of me
I just don't think I can handle it...so...looking into Atkins, the newer way, to lose these last pounds. I just feel like HCG is making me more carb sensitive with each round and I don't want to be where I eat a piece of whole grain toast or oatmeal and shoot up 5 pounds...
Internal struggle ya know...

Anyhow, I too usually lose my 15 the first 20ish days, but I always chug along to lose a few more...how I have done three 40 day rounds I have no clue...LOL....

I have lost a tad over 10lbs this round but it isn't up until the 8th that will be 23daysthen of course I have 3 more vlc days after that So I am hoping to get at least five more off!

This will be an interuption. I think I will go back for another week or two when we get back on the 20th.But I still haven't made up my mind completely on it yet

Oh, yeah. I am a week in. I have vacation at the end of the month and wnt to be bathing suit ready. I am soooo not ready now. Hoping to get to goal by then! That gives me about 23 more days to lose 15 lbs.

Just checking in to say, HI!

I'm still at family, still P3-attempting JUDDD style, not everything can I find accurate counts for, but I'm sure trying. Today is supposed to be an UP day and I'm not that hungry. I think that's good, and bad, at the same time LOL.... cuz I'll probably be hungry tomorrow on my DD!

No scale, don't want to weigh on my brother's cuz it won't be the same as mine, but I could. I need to just be faithful with calorie rotations and P3 light on dairy and nuts heavy on meat and veggies and not worry. What I'm doing here is more important to me, but I do need to watch. I'm still into my "skinny" jeans with no squishing. Family here is not into treats which is good for me! I had a shot of wheatgrass juice last night, I really liked it!
