Good morning, I hope everyone is seeing great things on the scale this morning. I was down 1.2 this morning for a total of 19.8 in 29 days of VLCD.

It is so nice to see the scale moving in the right direction, and feeling great at the same time. I actually don't feel deprived, and have had less issues with binge thoughts (or actions) than I have had in the past on low carb. I know some is mindset, but I think the structure of the plan and minimal hunger is really helpful.

I am rethinking my last dose day. My plan was last dose on 5/16 which would be VLCD 35. My anniversary is 5/20, and I was hoping to be able to be a little more lenient for that day. The other part of me is thinking of extending a few days in hopes of making it to 190.

For the most part I will see how the next week goes with losses and where I end up. I know TOM will also be here somewhere around 5/15. I was thinking it may be better from the hunger standpoint to dose until TOM is over.

Just random thoughts bouncing around in my head.

Hope everyone has a great day!

Morning, everyone! Was down .4lbs this morning so the losses are starting to slow down - which I expected. I'm grateful for the loss but miss the euphoria of seeing a bigger loss on the scale. Oh well - just have to be thankful for the progress and keep moving forward.

Have a great day, ladies!

Went for a walk, watched church live at home, spent 30 minutes in the sauna and got some good rest.

Today's plan:

b - coffee with Spenda and ff hnh
l - p2 beef chili, apple
d - curry fish & onions, strawberry smoothie

Evening walk & maybe sauna time...I am obsessed with the sauna, lol! I feel like it's doing great things for my skin & it's heart healthy! I don't mind aging but I'd like to do so gracefully.

Sounds like you're in a better place.

So for my first official week of VLCD I am down a total of 6 pounds! Really, this would have been impossible without HCG! I never would have lost this much with any other diet because I would have gotten discouraged over the slow weight loss and gone off the diet in about a week's time.
Vanna That's me I never stuck with any plan as the scales did not want to move. I still haven't gotten tha ticker in but I just read the last instructions so I will try again later. Thanks

Hi all! Just checking in! I posted in the rogue section because I am getting my protein from whey and egg white powders - not sure if that is rogue or not? I will be adding spinach and strawberries to each shake too. Today is my first vlcd, hoping for a successful 40 days! I am looking forward to learning from all of you!

Such nice loses to read about!

I'm down 1lb today - so that's 5 total since Monday. I love seeing the big numbers right out the gate -- even if it's water weight, it still gives me the encouragement to keep going.

Lara - I am DEFINITELY going in the wrong direction to keep up with YOU young lady!

I was UP 0.8 this morning despite a good OP day yesterday and a GREAT night of sleep last night. Bumped up my cortisol meds yesterday and that usually helps me sleep better. I think I have been trying to get off cortisol (wean down) and my body just isn't ready to do it AND diet at the same time. So back onto the cort I go! The difference between 12mg and 20 really isn't that much--until I go hypo. Then it severely messes with me!

Let's keep it rolling, ladies! Or rockin' or whatever!

Woohoo! You did it!

Don't start over. Just create a new one tomorrow and put the new URL into the upload
window and hit upload, and just be sure to bookmark your ticker on ticker factory then.

If you want your ticker under your quotes, move [SIGPIC] [/SIGPIC] under your quotes.

Have you expoerenced calves of oyur legs aching real bad on the HCg? Mine have been hurtinf the last couple days as if I had been exercising for long pweriods of a time

Also do I have to wait a full 40 days on PH2? I am starting to really want something else to eat.I really wish I would loose like I did at first. Why does it slow down so much?

Berta--I would suggest getting a 6 oz and splitting it. Why not take 1/2 home for another lunch? The restaurant we went to last weekend had naked chicken tenders as well as grilled shrimp. It was fantastic!! DH got the shrimp, I got the chicken and we took home the leftovers. I got the chicken the next day! Perfect!

I too had those cramps. The back of my legs were cramping really bad. I brought my potassium up to 8 capsules a day AND then added in 1 TBL of apple cider vinegar at night. I heard that the AVC takes care of cramps as well. I don't cramp when I get that all in!

You don't have to go the full 40 days on P2. You can do as short as 23 days (21 days of eating P2 with the hcg + the 2 days of no dosing while eating 500 calories) or any time after that UP to the 40 days. So if you only want to do 30 days, then do 30! If you want to do 35 then do that. It depends on what you want! You slow down because you are to lose at a rate of 0.5 lbs per day ON AVERAGE. That means you take the total loss and divide by the days on plan. That is your average. You will only average 0.5 per day being a woman. Others may lose more, but they are the exception. I see you are complaining of lose losing "only 0.8 lbs" I would be rejoicing because after week #1's losses I slow way down. I lose 15 pounds on my 21 day round, so that is also better than average, but it sure seems light to me LOL. Be happy with what you have accomplished. You have done well and are not even done!

Yes You are right.I did not know it would slow down though. I am happy with the .8 that's nearly a pound! Only 2oz short

I am going to to try to stick it out to the full 40 days but it s getting harder all the time A bowl of beef vegetable sounds sooo good to me.It seems I should want ice cream or popcorn or somehting like that. But I have been craving beef vegetable soup. Guess I could make some with just cabbage in it!

Are you all well now? I hope so

Thanks Berta. I have had ear popping today. So not 100% yet, but getting there. Trying to rid myself of the fluid behind my eardrums. I will be OK, just complaining is all. Every P2, all I want is salad--ya know, mix those veggies with real dressing. Funny how we crave the oddest things I mean of all the things we could be thinking of, it has to be the good stuff?? Ah, what P2 does to us Headed for bed--early shift tomorrow. The only good thing about going in early to work is getting off early

Yay Berta! You got everything to work for your ticker! Sweet!

VLCD8 - My weight stayed the same today, but some measurements are down again. I am very encouraged about that.

Also, I bought a dress a few weeks ago to wear on Mother's Day and a June wedding. It's a size large and I'm going to exchange it today for the medium so I can wear it Sunday. Yay! Very excited about that!

Yay for new sizes and lower measurements!

Morning girls and HAPPY FRIDAY!!!!! The scale rewarded me with a 1.6 drop today so I lost yesterday's gain of 0.8 and another 0.8 along with it! 0.8 seems to be the magic number this week! And yes Berta, it IS almost a pound! Don't forget those little losses add up in the end... So I am down 0.4 average for the last two days which is just fan-damn-dandy. Hoping for a nice drop tomorrow so that it at least LOOKS like I've lost over a pound from LAST Saturday's pre-load weight! Today I am sitting at 147.8 which is just 0.9 lower than last weekend and actually 2+ pounds over where I was two weeks ago. Feeling thinner though and certainly better than last week.

Tomorrow I'll be participating in the LA Revlon Run Walk for Breast Cancer. Prayers for everyone dealing with this disease themselves or with their loved ones. We'll beat it if we keep trying!

Oh and can we all say JEANS DAY???

VLCD8 - My weight stayed the same today, but some measurements are down again. I am very encouraged about that.

Also, I bought a dress a few weeks ago to wear on Mother's Day and a June wedding. It's a size large and I'm going to exchange it today for the medium so I can wear it Sunday. Yay! Very excited about that!
YAY on the dress!!!

Productive morning here! Payday so bills are paid, but now I'm broke... Blessed to be able to pay them though, right? I also called the AG's office to have the demand process for child support started. My ex-husband stupidly got fired last month and times are LEAN without that income. All is well in my soul though! It will work out.

Oh, I also signed up to attend the single mom's luncheon at church Sunday! After last Sunday's fiasco, I will be on my best behavior food-wise! Aside from my boy's soccer game tomorrow, that will be the highlight of my weekend.

The scale was very kind this morning...I released 1.2lbs!

Congrats, fellow LOSERS!

BE BLESSED!

Congrats on the loss! The run walk sounds like fun, and definitely for a good cause! Have a great day!
