Today is VLCD27 and I am down another pound for a total of 18.4 pounds. I am so glad it appears I have broken through the setpoint and I am losing again, 198 sure did look nice this morning.

I am starting to think about eating other things a bit more now. So far, I am doing well, but know that I have to be cautious of binging. I have a week and a half left of P2. I am thinking I may have to plan out my first week of P3 very carefully. Mostly more of the same types of food with few added things. Number one will definitely be cream in my coffee, oh how I miss it.

Today is my last VLCD I was up 0.8 yesterday because I wasn't able t drink all of my water on Sunday, but down 1 pound today. I'm looking forward to P3 tomorrow, I see a nice big omlete and sausage in my future for breakfast - I will get up early just to prepare it!

I'm glad I did a 21 day round this time, nice way to see good losses without getting too bored with food choices. I think my husband got a little bored towards the end, but he stayed on and had a pretty good loss too. It does help that we do this together LIke Berta, my husband is also my best friend, and doing this together is a blessing.

I''ll be in P3 starting tomorrow, but will check back in with you ladies to see how you're doing and offer any support that you need. Hope you all have a wonderful day!!

Sorry I was MIA yesterday. Super busy day with a proofreading job and running around with my daughter all day. Fun though!

I was up .5 yesterday morning, but down 1 pound this morning. I was happy to see that!

Berta, you have to take the www out when you post the ticker url for your signature. And you have to put [SIGPIC][/SIGPIC] in your signature. I found a good tutorial for it. I'll go look it up and post it here.

You're doing great and have the perfect attitude about entering P3, planning is the key to success. I've had the same thing on my mind, I want to really be careful not to overeat. I did okay with my last round, but this time it seems like I can't seem to take my mind off of food .

Down 2.8 following vlcd1. Only 3 more pounds to go to get back to pre-load weight. Keeping my head up. Heavy yoga tonight so I may not see much movement on the scale tomorrow. I am gonna hydrate like crazy today, eat about an hour before, and cross my fingers! Sprint demo day today (I'm a software designer) and then pushing forward to our last three weeks before the end of development for phase 1. By the time this ends, I'll be on my last vlcd's with no hcg, 10 pounds lighter, and ready for summer!

I just spent some time going through my clothing, and I am happy to report I am down at least a size. Yippee!!! I had noticed my clothing getting looser, so I needed to see if I have anything that fits correctly at the moment. I was very happy to find that all of my shorts that were way too tight/couldn't be buttoned without severe muffin top and too tight in the legs now fit wonderfully not tight, not baggy. It felt so nice to have on something that fit properly. What a great way to start my day, and a motivator to stay on plan.

Morning everyone! Today is VLCD5 and I had a 1.4lb loss on the scale this morning. So far, I haven't had any problems with hunger although I've had to battle my urge to do some mindless grazing. I didn't realize how much of that I did until I started this protocol. I suppose that's why I got into this mess in the first place....

Can't get it to work for me
We have ladies Bible study every Monday at noon.I don't go because they eat at different restaurants and I do not want to go and watch them eatI do keep up with the weekly lessons though

CONGRATULATIONS I know how that feels.I went shopping a bit yesterday and bought a pant suit that was 89.oo and last time I wanted it but it was to tight in the chest and arms and tummy . BUT it fits pefecly now PLUS ot was on sale for 22.00 YIPPEE Then I tried on some of my old blouses las tnight that was to tight in the amrs and they fit

I keep finding my self wanting to taste what I fix for DH if I stick my finger in it or to see if it's done. It is surprising how much we take in without even realizing it!

I was on plan yesterday too and gained this morning .6. But Mother Nature needs to do her job and she hasn't yet today so when she decides to get it over with I am sure that .6 will come off.

checking in..battling hunger issues. I really am feeling like the pellets are not keeping my hunger and cravings at bay, can I take more of a dosage? or is it just because I am further into my VLCD's does it happen this way normally? I'm still seeing small losses but yesterday had a gain of .8 after finally seeing 146 and then only .2 loss this morning. I think I will have to extend this round longer than 21 days as I have my mother in law coming this weekend and am taking her to a winery. I know I will prob have a few cheats. I did my measurements yesterday and I have lots of inch lost, got into a pair of pants that I have not been able to wear in awhile. I'm not too worried, I'm just concerned about why I feel so hungry.

I can't answer that for you. As my losses have slowed way down too.I have decided to stop the WF this week and see if that helps. BUT I gaine this morning abit and no WF yesterday so who knows
Just remember... you're not very overweight so it will be MUCH slower unfortunately

Kimmie - how many are you taking and how often? Most often, the hunger is an indication that you are taking too MUCH, not too little.

The best advice I can give you is to actually SKIP your evening dose. If you wake up MORE hungry, you need more pellets. If you wake up LESS hungry, you need fewer. Last round, I had to go DOWN from 4 pellets, 3x daily to 3 pellets 3x daily. When I switched it really helped. Also, some people do better taking the pellets more frequently. My gf takes 2 pellets every 4 hours daily, so 6am, 10am, 2pm, 6pm, then before bed--for a total of 10 pellets.

Anyway, HTH some.

Berta - It's 40 doses, so you would have 2 loading days, 38 vlcd with hhcg, and 2 vlcd WITHOUT hhcg, for a total of 42 days.

Shelby, this is news to me. I do hhcg and was under the impression that I had to do 3 vlcds at the end. So...this means that my last VLCD could be tomorrow? :jump joy:

Yes I am thank you. Because I don't have as far to go as I thought either
So on my 40th day I take the HHCG in the morning ONLY weigh and then 500 VLCD for 2 more days then Start PH3?

I was doing very well, I sabatoged myself so badly...stupid decision on my part. I have been on the verge of crying all day.

I do not take insulin but I take 3 different types of oral meds and I HATE it!

Yep! Only 2 days at the end if you do HHCG!

I've heard of doing only the morning dose the last day but have never done it that way myself. I've always taken all my doses as per usual on my last vlcd, then done 48 hours/2 days of vlc without the hcg, then started P3. On those last two days of vlc, I sometimes also increase my protein a little bit--like to 4-5oz for dinner the first day then 4-5oz for both lunch AND dinner the second day...

I'm really sorry you feel that way! We've all been there! Seriously though, THINK about why you can't get remotivated... Is it ONLY because the scale went up today? Would you have felt the same way if it had gone down or even STS after your OP day yesterday? Don't let that stupid scale win, darn it! Cheats--particularly big ones--can set you back for quite a few days. But stalls and even movements UP often happen for no reason at all! Look at Berta--powering through... You are doing a great thing for you (and your diabetes) by losing this weight and hcg is a great way to do it. It's not easy but it's quick and effective. Whatever you decide, we're in your corner! I am taking 3 pellets 20 mins before each meal so 3 times a day. Maybe I will try 4 and if that doesn't help I will try 2 4 times a day.

I'm joining (back) in.

I was here earlier in the year - did round 1 beginning in January. I finished that round at 219.6 and stabilized right there. P3 and P4 were easy. I was able to go on a 2 week vacation to Florida & enjoy eating/drinking whatever I wanted. Lots of restaurant food & fun drinks by the pool.

Now I'm back for round 2. Loaded on the weekend and gained to 222.2 -- but as of today (VLCD2), I'm down to 219.4. Yay! Lost that load weight quickly!

My hubby does this with me, so that helps a ton!

I'll read this whole thread later tonight after the kids go to bed, but thought I'd "introduce" myself really quick while I can.
