Thank you for starting the new thread I was just thinking about that.

Yeah loading Friday Sat Sun I need 3 days or I start to shake really bad. I guess its just from the withdrawal even tho I dont eat sugar or bad carbs... I'm excited and scared to do this, only will be doing 26 days. Finny that hcg takes a while to get into mny system and a while to come out, more like 4 days instead of 3. I know this because whenever I get off of hcg I gain 4 lbs right out of the gate. It's ok tho I dont mind. =) Cant wait for this weekend I want to eat things I havent been able to in 3 months. woohoo.

This time on my steak day I did a ribeye and a ground beef patty but thought about it and I guess I could have done ground beef this whole time and saved some money, huh. Next time.

Have a good night,
Lara

Hello!

I had a convention this weekend with food that wasn't P3 friendly, so I just ate and hoped for the best. Amazingly I didn't need a correction day after three days of it! I'm doing well with my weight quite stable and it was 168.4 this morning.

Working out has been going well, too, though due to busy days this past week was less than normal. My husband has a business trip for the next three days and it is just me and the kids, so avoiding stress eating will be important. I'm up to the task, though!

I'm back in the saddle again... In my window.

lesson learned this weekend: you can do a steak day with ground chuck beef patties. Much cheaper, easier and I think I like the taste better.

Today I have an omelet and a salad with chicken that I roasted onion olives tomato feta olive oil vinegar. I think I will have a ground beef patty for dinner. Countdown to Friday begins.

Happy Monday,
Lara

Can you please tell me about TTAP? And congrats on making it thru successfully from your convention. I made it through a family work weekend at the cabin, with lots of illegal foods all over place, and on my 2 vlcd without hhcg. Hallelujah I made it and lost .6 lbs and I got almost no sleep and got sick to boot. I am thankful I feel better this morning. TODAY IS MY VERY FIRST DAY OF THIS ROUND OF PHASE 3!!!!

4/9 Load #2 180 = +2
4/10 vlcd #1 179.6 = - .4
4/11 vlcd #2 175.8 = - 3.8
4/13 vlcd #3 173.4 = - 2.4
4/14 vlcd #4 170.6 = - 2.8
4/15 vlcd #5 170 = - .6
4/16 vlcd #6 170 = 0
4/17 vlcd #7 169.8 = - .2
4/18 vlcd #8 169.2 = - .6
4/19 vlcd #9 168.4 = - .8
4/20 vlcd #10 168 = - .4
4/21 vlcd #11 168.2 = + .2
4/22 vlcd #12 167.2 = - 1
4/23 vlcd #13 166.8 = - .4
4/24 vlcd #14 166.2 = - .6
4/25 vlcd #16 167.2 = + 1
4/26 vlcd #17 166.2 = - 1
4/27 vlcd #18 166.8 = + .6
4/28 vlcd no hcg #1 no weigh
4/29 vlcd no hcg #2 no weigh
4/30 ph3 day 1 166.2

Okay today is scary. I made myself a little notebook of HCG info, calorie counting stuff and tips and rules for succeeding on phase 3. I also just learned to my shagrin that my ideal weight is actually 31.5 lbs lowers than I am now. Hmmmmm. Well at least it's not 167 lbs from here like it used to be. I guess I've aloud myself to just settle. That's not good! Baby steps for now. I lost about 11 lbs during this short round on hhcg. Praise the Lord! And I am determined to succeed in this phase 3 and REALLY follow directions. It's impossible for me to do that without following directions. Maybe for others its different, but I have flopped in phase 3 at least 2 or 3 other times.

166.2 morning after bathroom weight

Breakfast 2 eggs
1/2 TB butter
1/8 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1 TB red pepper
1/4 c pork sausage
1 TB red pepper
1 TB heavy cream

Wow my first taste of fats in over 3 weeks. I slowly savored the flavors.

Lunch: 6 oz tuna packed in sunflower oil
1 TB mayo
mixed veggie salad with tomatoe, cukes, romaine lettuce, red peppers

Snack: Apple (I was gonna have fruit salad but I thought the better of it too DANGEROUS!)

Dinner: 6 oz baked or grilled salmon
1 TB lemon juice
brocolli 2 cups

snack: smoothie with lemon strawberries and stevia

nervous to weigh myself tomorrow!

Taryl- Great job this weekend! You seem to be stabilizing nicely. Look forward to having your "expertise" around here. Good luck with the kids & the eating while hubby is away. I'm curious about TTAP also. Been waiting to add in exercise b/c I didn't feel like I could handle the fluctuations. I did 5 weeks of P3, and am on P4D10, and I have been stable as a rock, mostly 2-3 lbs below ldw. Looking forward to seeing where exercise can get me b/c I'm still squishy, but prob don't really need to lose much more. Any advice?

Lara- Back in your window!!!!! So happy for you, you deserve it! Your food for today sounds yummy! Hope the scale behaves until your start loading!

Adeline- Good job through the weekend! Welcome to P3, take it SLOW!!! You'll do great this time!

Theresa- saw your post on the old thread. YAY!!! Still in your window! Even after all that yummy stuff! Today is VLCD1 right? Wishing you a great round!

I'm P4D10 up 1.6 after Mexican food & margarita's yesterday. Shocked it wasn't more. 121.4 exactly at LDW! Can't ask for more than that!

Have a great day ladies!

My tummy hurts but maybe that will make me wind up eating less and keeping my lovely window, haha.
I am afraid to eat the salad that I brought for lunch. Maybe I will just pick the chicken off of it.

Conratulations on the great round!! Where in the Philly burbs are you? I'm from Abington/Huntingdon Valley-been living in AZ for 7 years now though!! to P3!! Enjoy it!!

Tonya-you're doing great!! All that yummy Mexican got you UP to LDW!! That's the way to do it!!

Theresa-hoping for a great round for you!! Not bad for your load weight!!

Lara- for you being in window!! Glad to hear a burger CD works. Makes good sense.

Taryn-you're amazing!! WTG on the weekend!! I'm really happy for you!!

I'm thinking about stopping the C25K program. I'm re-evaluating a bit. I really do NOT like running. I've done the program once before, and it is going well now. But WHY am I doing it? Just b/c it's hard for me? I'm not going to love running, or become a runner. I will probably go back to weight training, zumba and hiking and biking once I'm through this program. I don't really like it. And, since I think it's messing w/ both the scale and my head, I think I'm going to stop doing it. I'm not "quitting" b/c it's too hard. I'm stopping b/c it's not taking me where I want to go. That sacrifice and energy would be better spent (and more enjoyable) in other fitness pursuits. KWIM? I'm going away next week and we'll be hiking all over Bryce, Zion and Arches Nat'l park, so that's def the kind of exercise I enjoy. I think I'll try to hit the gym this week, maybe take a zumba class and do some weights. Or the interval runs btw walks. I much prefer that and think my body will too.

That said, I'm also taking a break from weighing daily. GASP!! I'm kinda' done w/ the hcg protocol for now. It's been good for me, but the daily weighing and constant CD's is robbing me of my joy at finally being at goal!! Fri will be my official day (w/ my challenge girls) but I may weigh Thurs. morning so I can do a CD on Thurs. if needed to get back where I want to be. I am still planning/hoping to stay around 148.

I'm going to try to eat "healthy" but am not going to forbid something if I really want it. I want to incorporate IE (intuitive) but as of now years of deprivation are leaving me binging instead of stopping when I'm full. I'm mostly a LCer, but will dabble in goodies when I feel like it. I'm going to put as much effort into this maintaining as I did into losing and see where I go.

That's my new plan . Have a great week all!! I will pop in still, but not likely as often. Working on packing and then we'll be away for a fun week hiking.

YES WE CAN!!! That 10lb week was AMAZING!!! I'd be happy with that in TWO weeks! But yes, alas, I do believe I am an Rx girl! Let's pray that the scales say so too!
Good luck on your numbers tomorrow! I was JUST thinking I can't wait to get on the scale in the am! lol...that's a FIRST!

I think you definatley have the perfect mind set!!! Listen to your body, mind and soul....you will be awesome!
We will surely miss you... but enjoy your vacation! Don't forget I wanna see pics! lol...i've always wanted to go...but have never made it up there! Maybe some day!

I do think the rx is kicking in. I had my apple about an hour after lunch...it tasted good...but good grief i'm stuffed and so not wanting food! I'm going to try to be good and not eat beef more than 3x a week ( gotta have a lil bit! I AM a texas girl! ) but before i was having it 4-5x a week! So this round I am doing more fish and chicken, more celery less cabbage and onions! I am also GASP going to try to not have quite so much coffee....i'm not making any promises though! I am not going to do any water pills unless it is BEYOND needed (so i really shouldn't have any!). Just drink my water, stay clean and do my best!!!

Have a great day!!!

Julie you have done an amazing job with your weight loss, you inspire me. I would love to some day fit into an 8 or 6. Is it the impossible dream. I'm 5'1", weigh 166 and fit a size 14. I have a hangy, baggy stomach and some droopy thighs. Now you know my uglies. I am trying to find someone around here who will write me a script for rxhcg and not gouge me for my money.

It's tough to do this without links, but here is a good explanation of what TTap is, from one of the TTap trainers. It's an excerpt from the website and as comprehensive an explanation as I can provide without possible TOS-violating videos and links:

T-Tapp is a series of movements designed to put the body in proper functional alignment, restore metabolic function, and stands on its own as a complete workout as well as enhancing the effectiveness of ALL of your workouts. Basically, your entire system gets "tuned up" like a finely adjusted machine. Due to utilization of comprehensive, compound muscle movement, rapid reshaping can take place.

This technique has some similar principles to Yoga and Pilates, but at the same time it is nothing like them! With many original copyrighted moves, T-Tapp:

- is comprehensive, working all layers of muscles at BOTH insertions (effectively developing long, lean muscle). Apply the principles to any other exercise technique to reach your goals.
will enhance any other exercise form and schedule.
- is a lot more than just burning calories/fat - it literally resets and rebuilds your primary body functions (i.e.: lymphatic system, endocrine system, metabolic rate and elimination systems, among others).
- works both biochemically and physiologically.
- the movement sequences are very rehabilitative, especially for the lower back and knees. They look so simple - but they provide a workout like no other.
- is comprehensive - never working just one muscle group, the T-Tapp Workout is designed to fatigue muscle groups layer by layer, and inch loss can come quickly.
is done without special equipment.

What does T-Tapp look like?

I've heard T-Tapp described as "You stand in one place and lose weight!" This may sound simplistic, but there are elements of truth at the core.

When watching the T-Tapp workout, you may be reminded a bit of pilates, Yoga, Tai chi, dance, isometrics, Alexander...yet you will also see something unique and like no other. T-Tapp takes the best of the best and most powerful approaches to building the body, and, combined with Teresa Tapp's patented principles and signature moves, synergizes to a whole new workout.

The entire Total Workout can be done standing in an area with just enough room to fully extend arms and legs to the side, front and back. No special equipment aside from good supportive shoes and flexible clothing is required.

Where To Get Started with T-Tapp

I'm a real purist when it comes to T-Tapp, and have seen phenomenal changes with just the basics, the T-Tapp Total Workout, practiced with proper form to personal max.

The total body involvement (comprehensive, compound movement and sequential design) conditions your body in ways you may not have focused on before: First, at its core. This means deep abdominal layers, and connections at spine and ribcage. Then at insertions AND origins of muscle attachment, meaning the entire length of the muscle is worked and conditioned, giving complete muscle development and shaping throughout, in contrast to the muscle "belly" work we find in gym-style weight training. AND the isometric nature of the movements coupled with balance to keep everything working together delivers a complete, comprehensive workout.

Beyond this starting point, there are other signature moves that can deliver surprising results: the Organs in Place move for flattening and conditioning the abdominal wall; Hit the Floor for additional mid/lower body work; and a host of other sequences and detail moves that can provide specialization and variety should one so desire.

Hey ladies... Taryl... how's it going with hubby gone? I so understand your struggle!! I tend to really struggle with "stress" eating especially when dh is not around.

Last night he shared with me that his company has offered him a position which will require him to be gone 4-5 days a week for 6 months started the end of May. He thought I'd say... "NO!!!" BUT I told him that I'm so proud of him and feel so blessed that his company is valuing his work.... he had a job/ministry for 10 years where he was not valued for the skills/abilities he possesses. Anyway, this is a LARGE promotion and hubbies work at this location could lead to a multi-million dollar contract for his company!! BUT I'd be juggling home, kids, school (in the fall as we are going to be home schooling 3 instead of just 1 like this year), etc. I've been trying to think through what my "plan" will be to handle stress and am finding that I'm really enjoying the DVD I got from the library called Made To Crave. I'll get the book and do the full Bible study starting in June... his first month away from us.

Another aspect of this work change is that if the contract does go through... they will most likely offer the position to my husband to lead this contract which will mean a re-location to...........TEXAS... HELLO............I've never lived anywhere but in the north/mid-west. I cannot imagine life without all four seasons. BUT I do know that if the Lord blesses hubby with this opportunity that it WILL be what is His will for our family.

Sorry to unload... but thanks so much for listening!! We are not sharing any of this with the children yet. Hubby is going to talk with our parents and pastors to get their thoughts and wisdom... he has to let his boss know by Friday.

Hubby and I are JUDDDing during this phase 3 and today is our second Up Day. Our first DD went well, though my calories were not quite low enough, they were at least 50% less than an Up Day. We are both staying within 1 pound of LDW so far this phase 3 which feels REALLY good. I'm still maintaining my exercise routine of 3 days of weight lifting followed by 2-3 aerobic miles, plus 3 days where I do 3-4 aerobic miles. I did this routine with a little less aerobic miles throughout this last phase 2. So my body is just going with the flow... no bumps on the scale due to exercise this phase 3.. YAHOO!!

Hope you all have a super day!!

Taryl, do you attend classes for T-tap or just send for the tapes? I met a lady once at a home business conference. she was their poster child of sorts as she was their top rep or something. I am very interested and will check it out. thanks.

Start Date: July 14, 2003 - every day!!
Good morning girls!!

Shirley-that's an exciting opportunity and I will look forward to seeing where it leads. I will pray for you guys, that's quite a lot of change. Although exciting to see God working, it's still stressful. But He will provide and is faithful to guide you. You're liking the Made to Crave? I've heard good things about it, but haven't read it yet. Glad JUDDD is going well for you. I can't wrap my head around the DDs, yet. We'll see down the road.

Adeline-you're doing great!! Hope you enjoy your P3!!!

I did a 4.5mile bike ride (w. my dd's to pick up my car) yesterday, and played softball last night!! Much more fun than my "c25k run". Dh is upset that I'm stopping (quitting) the running. He really liked the idea of being able to "run" together. Being a people pleaser I would usually cave in to please him, but I need to find exercise that I will stick with. As a family we enjoy hiking and biking together. I simply do not enjoy running. I have tried to like it, but the end result is I avoid it. I want exercise to be a natural part of my life, and not something to be hated or avoided.

Today is the 5 year annniversary of my Dad passing away. This is the first year I am not reduced to tears at his memory. He was the most amazing father, and I am very happy for him to be in heaven. I regret that we couldn't have him here with us longer, but am choosing to celebrate the life he lead, as well as the impact he had in my life.

Make it a great day ladies!!

I want to go on RXHCG next round. Did anyone out there have to have a whole series of blood tests and metabolic workup for that?

Julie you are so blessed to have had a model on earth of what our Heavenly Father is like! Wow! Fathers like that are so rare. We are just passing through, though for the moment it doesn't seem like it. Soon we will join them and it will be unending. I lost my husband to cancer almost 3 years ago. I am remarried but a loss like that is still HUGE my heart is with you.

Julie- Love your new plan! I so get it, I'm kinda feeling the same way. I agree about the running, if you don't love it you should do something else. Exercise needs to be fun and fulfilling to make it a part of life. You need something you can be excited about. I love that you aren't going to be glued to the scale. That takes a lot of courage this far into your weight loss journey. You have done so well, you deserve to enjoy it for a while. I still think a month from now, when things settle down, you will find your groove and this will become effortless for you. I hope you have a great time on vacation, you deserve it! Big hugs to you today as you remember your Dad and what a wonderful father / man he was!

Taryl- thanks for the info on T-Tapp, very interesting. I'm going to look into ordering a video.

Shirley- Big Congrat's to hubby! Could be a big life change, but if it's meant to be..... You both are doing great with JUDDD. Texas isn't so bad, we have all 4 seasons, but they are just a little warmer than you may be used to. Nice, at times!

Theresa- STS!!! Your time is coming girl, hang in there.

Been really busy since Sunday, was up 1.6 yesterday after the mexican food, and up another .6 today. LDW 121.4, today 122. Still happy with this b/c last time it would have been 8 lbs overnight. I'm not doing a CD since I'm still in my window, but hope to drop back down to 118-119 with clean eating in the next few days.

Hope everyone's having a great day!
Tonya
Adeline- Your doing great with P3!

Lara- Sorry you are up again! The modified Cd sounds delicious!

Thanks Adeline!! You're so right!! It really does give me a little glimpse. So sorry for your loss . I'm glad you'remarried and hope you've found joy. It's hard to keep it all in perspective when we look at it too closely. But, with the benefit of time and a little distance, it's less painful and easier to just celebrate and remember the good stuff. And, btw, very cool you're new to PA. We loved life there, but the winters got to be too much for me (I'm a sissy!!). We were back there to visit in Nov. and the Fall has always been my favorite time there. I do miss it, there's a lot of happy memories there.

Smal little bump. You'll be back down from all that salt. You'll be just fine. You're doing great!! I'm trying to keep it all in perspective. It's a life change and I'd like eventually to be comfortable in my own skin. It'll be nice to just eat when I'm hungry, exercise b/c I want to, and feel good doing it. We're getting there .

Theresa-STS the first day w/ Rx? That's no good!! Thought for sure the Rx would do the trick. Hang in there!! You're due!!

rest of the gang!! Keep plugging away!! Time helps it settle in!!

I know, it is a lb and that is great and all.....but come on already, three days into vlcd and a POUND??? Last round i had already lost 9lbs (granted that was load weight, but i haven't even lost THAT yet!).

I'm at a loss! It's gotta happen eventually.....right??? maybe it wasn't the pellets...though i'm cold and not even close to hungry on the rx. THAT is worth it right there!

Have a super duper day and I will check in later!!!!
