Morning ladies!
Theresa- Hope that scale keeps moving for you! I'm down -2.2 back to 119.8. Love this! Ate mexican food Sun, had 2 days of gains, then my body settled right back down, on it's own without a CD! Have a great day ladies! Tonya |

Morning all,
I'm in my window, even tho when I woke up I wasnt, took a shower lost 1.5 haha. I will take it! T minus 72 hours until loading. I thought that I would be lower than where I'm at but at this point I'm not going to sweat it. I lost 8 lbs doing correction days. I think I will still stick to steak cds ground beef didnt fill me up as much, I felt kinda blah last night. Thought it was dehydration but I drank 1 liter of water... Might do one last steak day tomorrow. Might not, depends on where I'm at and how I feel. Theresa~I've had zero days in the first week, keep on doing what youre doing this works believe in it!!!! Tonya~ Ya the ground beef want all that yummy after all. Steak is better. I just wonder whats in ground beef sometimes... you know? After all that pink slime talk. blech. No more watching the news. Julie~ You are so lucky to have had an amazing father. Those milestones are sometimes hard to get through. I truly believe that he is right there with you. I admire you for sticking to quitting running, you deserve to do something that you love and have fun doing it. Have a good day all!!

Good morning ladies
![]() Theresa -Take the 1lb for now -at least it's going downward! Keep plugging in until your body gets it. ![]() Tonya -Great job! Isn't something how our bodies surprise us from no where? As for me, the second week is not going as great -yesterday was -0.4oz and this morning was -0.6oz. A little pound in 2 days!! I was getting used to the big loss in the 1st week I am still thankful that the scale is moving slowly but in the right direction.Sunday I went back into 180s "How much I love you hhcg" ![]() I am planning on cycling again for my R3 --taking a short round this time (R2) followed by 3 weeks of P3 and tuckling R3 right after that (squeezing the 2 short rounds in before 4th of July!!) I noticed that after the 21 days I barely lose anyway, so I may as well take short rounds -unless I am still losing well after the 21 days, then I will keep dosing, otherwise I would get discouraged! Have a wonderful day ladies!!!! ![]()

Shirley - If I have to do a cd today I earned it fair and square with overeating yesterday. Things are going pretty good overall but I have been insanely busy and THAT actually triggers me more. Less busy is much better for me.

THAT was my problem yesterday!! ![]() I'm on a Down Day today (kinda built in CD) and really felt the need for it. Yesterday's up day became and UP UP and AWAY day... so I was in denial this morning and did not weigh. Today has been a great DD! I've only had about 300 calories and will end my day with a 4 oz burger over a salad with my VLCD tangy mustard dressing. So I should come in less than 500 or right around it.

Shirley,
I think you are the one who mentioned a hamburger & egg CD. If so, could you explain it to me? If not, sorry. I am anticipating the need for a CD and that combo sounds good. Thanks |

ok, major question.....WHY am i having puffy ankle problems??? I was thinking it was because i was sitting more at work....but i was on my feet ALL day today...didn't help! I have had NO canned or processed anything (other than the melba's...and i only eat .75 serving every now and again...never the two a day!)
I know i said i DID NOT want to take a water pill...but what else could be causing the puffy ankles. I truly don't think i'm under THAT much stress! I know that any weight i lose would be from (majority of) the water pill and likely will have a small bump up....that or a serious salt bath tonight... i'm more concerned w/ the puffy ankles than i am with the only 1lb loss on the scale! PLUS i am afraid that tom is approaching...because i started while on p4 last time...and have been doing the hhcg/rxhcg for almost 3 weeks now....right about time huh? Which....duh could explain the slow loss this week! grrrrrrr stupid female hormones! I thought the mirena was supposed to take care of that! ![]() ok, gotta go...see ya'll at home! ![]() |

Theresa-not sure on the puffy ankles. You've had them before, right? Wonder what's causing your edema? Is that typical for you? I'm (thankfully) not a water retainer.
b/c I don't have any advice. Are you "seeing" a dr for your hcg? Maybe ask them?Shirley-glad the JUDDD is still going well for you. After a while it'll be like second nature!! KUTGW!! Lara-you're doing great! So glad it's all worked out well for you and I hope you have a stellar round!! I do appreciate that blessing of my Dad. He was one in a million and I was his favorite (don't tell my brothers ). Miss all that love and laughter. But, God is good. The Lord gives, and the Lord takes away, blessed be the name of the Lord! Off to "shop" w/ dd (8). Have $10 to use at Kohls (bday in May) and need some foundation. Coupon at Ulta!! Have good afternoon!Artic- at the "everything at home" comment. I remember those days. Good for you making the most of it and really enjoying it. I wasn't always content at that stage in my life and wish I had been more "in the moment". Hhcg-you're doing great!! Hope the cycling works well for you!!

I'm retaining from something! I'm almost tempted to do an allergy test to see if i'm not majorly allergic to one of the veggies i'm eating....or shrimp? very frustrating though...i know that is gotta be why the weight isn't dropping! I am doing another hcg lemonade tonight! 64oz of that and 90 oz of plain water plus 20oz of green tea and my 20 oz of coffee this morning! Have fun shopping! I love kohls! and their return policy rocks!!! They took my sandals back after i had worn them, no receipt! Big fan!! I made some ground beef (97/3) and cabbage all cooked up in some steaming water....and WAY too much red pepper and sambal....my THROAT is on fire! I had to drink 60oz of my water while trying to eat it! Maybe THAT will flush out what ever toxin is holding in the water. But seriously, i am maybe thinking it might be TOM rearing its UGLY head! AND good grief i want chocolate....like bad, i'm having to fight my urge for sugar right now...and i normally don't have an issue! and i had a "cramp" earlier! ![]() OMGEE Ok, so i used to have sunday dinners at my uncles house..and Earl Cambell was a regular (football player, houston oilers 1970s) he has gotten OLD! lol...i remember him young! he is on my hubbies tv show! Adeline and Julie - you are so sweet and hit it on the head - to God be the glory, forever! He really had to bring me to my knees to get me to the place where I was content at home six days a week, with the only outings being church. It was just the season we were in. And now? I actually prefer it and hate leaving That took a few years of development, though! I am a homebody these days and hopefully it will serve me well as we add more children to the mix, but it was definitely a necessary and gradual transformation to get to the point where I wasn't counting the minutes each day until my husband came home (and some days are still like that!).I got my TTap workout done tonight and feel great, the steak day went well, too. Hopefully I can net myself a nice loss and be back on track for tomorrow with no overeating. I have started ignoring my hunger signals again and this is my wake up call on that fact. Back to more mindful, slow eating. Have a wonderful evening, friends!

Omg I'm so peeved. I'd been planning to bring in birthday treats for someone and they just told me that they took the day off even though I confirmed that was the day that I'd be doing it... one day before I was going to do it. So Fridays the only day that I can eat anything. This is our birthday club thing where if my birthday is in april I make something for someone in may.
Ok so yesterday I did p3 foods even tho Im p4 and I lost .6, and so I'm in my window. yay! This is the way it's supposed to work. I'm going to do a steak day anyway just to get a little more room. |

Theresa-
There don't seem to be enough smilies today to communicate!! I am baffled!! How long ago was your last round? I had a round like this (like #3 I think) that no matter what I did I couldn't lose a lb!! It was awful, and I ended it early. Took a nice long break and went back for a round about 3 months later and lost fine. I hope you're able to figure it out. Hope it's TOM since that's only temporary. BIG to you!!Tonya-Yeah!! Rocking it!! Arcitc-good for you!! Being able to celebrate the "good old days" while you're in the middle of them is such a blessing!! Enjoy your family and I hope all goes well with additional little people .Lara-nice!! Way to finish strong!! at your work friend. Hopefully whatever you made will keep! Our family has been thinking/talking about foster care and adoption for a long time. We were in the process of signing up when my mother got ill and required a lot of care. Then we were planning to downsize and move, but that is not happening now. So, as it seems God is providing for us to stay in our big house, and my mom is settled down some, I need to get moving on the foster care app and training. I'll have next week's vaca to really pray and talk w. dh about this more. But I'm getting excited. We got final word last night that the deal fell through on the house for which we were under contract. The loan was always a long shot, and now we know it's not going to happen. Signed the cancellation last night, and it's done. I should probably be sad, but in reality, I didn't really want to move. Downsizing was a "good financial" decision, but we live in my "dream house" now, and I was willing to move, but not excited to do so. So, we went out for good Mexican last night w/ my BFF and neighbor/Realtor. It was a lot of fun and I WAY overate. So glad I'm not weighing daily!! But, I do have my weekly weigh in tomorrow for my challenge, and I should get an idea of how far I've gone. I had many servings of chips and yummy bean dip and salsa, and 3 yummy enchildas, and great Sangria too! I'm planning on mostly yogurt today, but we'll see. I'm trying to be less restrictive so I don't overdo it on the "illegal" foods. I hope that by allowing anything (and everything!!) the "forbidden" foods will lose their appeal. We'll see. I don't want to gain too much, but am allowing a 2lb additional scale gain btw exercise and the eating. The idea of IE is to really listen to your hunger, and stop eating when you're satisfied, not stuffed. Not there, yet . Have a great day ladies!! |

It makes zero sense! Shouldn't i drop some just from the sheer lack of calories? I haven't had any eggs this round...no alcohol...no sugary stuff...idk...I am seriously reading the juddd pages....if i can eat p3 and then do an IF day that is lc....i should at least be able to maintain...if not lose! Thanks so much for the encouragement! That means the world to me...and makes this a bit easier! Theresa - refresh my memory, are you doing P2 strictly protocol?
You're in the middle of a P2 and not maintaining, correct? Stalls absolutely happen and I've had them go on for over a week, even with not a single cheat. That is normal. Sometimes, too, our bodies seem to be healing from the inside, out, which means the changes we are seeing that benefit our health are there but just not reflected on the scale, despite being crucial to our success. For P3, If you did a clean P2 with real hCG then your metabolism should be somewhat reset and hypothalamus healed, which would mean that normal maintenance calories of the appropriate, non-inflammatory foods would be fine to consume. If you're not experiencing that then I'd be concerned. If you went rogue or cheated than changes the game but I don't recall seeing that from you. Let's see if we can troubleshoot and help you out! As for me, the steak day worked well and I am down about two pounds to 168.6, firmly inside my window again. I was even bad and had coffee w/ creamer with my steak and a square of bittersweet chocolate before bed ![]() Last edited by Arctic_Mama; 05-03-2012 at 09:41 AM.. |

I laid off for a day then did a two day load on rx and only gained 2.5lbs from that binge weekend and went right into vlcd #1 (this was monday). So, since monday i have gone from 269.2 to 268.2. I do strictly protocol...the most rogue thing i do is maybe have an extra strawberry or a few extra grams of protein and weigh everything. I use no extra lotions, potions, etc...my shampoo/body wash and face stuff is all oil free ( love mary kay oil free stuff! ) my feet are cracking from the lack of moisture. I don't drink soda, NOTHING other than tomato paste comes out of a can (and it has nothing but tomatoes in it!) hmmmmm, what else is there....I use about 2 tbs of franks red hot probably once or 2x a week? I would say i eat 2 fruits 80% of the time, melbas are rare when i do eat them....unless it is used to make crab cakes. I have not eaten anything not on the "list" food wise...even gave away some baby artichokes i bought yesterday (thought they were on the list and they are NOT!) I drink 150+oz of water a day (have started making 64 of those the hcg lemonade) I use only stevia, green tea and my morning coffee. I haven't exercised....want to bad...but haven't! I am in bed every night before 1030. hmmmm, can you think of anything else? I quit using the walden stuff, threw it in the trash to resist temptation. No oils, butter. I cook most things in foil packets. I have my ****** logs in my sig.... i just want to lose weight!!!!!! ![]() |

As far as not losing the weight goes, first off That would drive me bananas! Second, some people develop sensitivities to certain foods that are on the list. Can you post some menus with specific foods and amounts? I will go check out your ****** too. Brb... |

Ok, so looking at your ****** a couple of things that I have questions on...
1. Half n half - I know coffee is awful without it. Believe me, I know! But if I were going to cut something out, that would be the first thing for me. The original doc was to include skim milk, not half n half.2. Are you weighing your meats raw? I see a bit more than 100g in some of your portions. Also, I see a half of an egg white in there a few times too. Is there a reason? 3. Some people have issues with tomatoes. I almost never eat them because the one or two times I did during P2, I gained. Might try switching them out for a week or so. 4. Finally the melbas. If you have a wheat sensitivity, they could be causing the stall. Might try leaving them out. When in P2, I almost always have lettuce for lunch - 100g and cabbage/endive/spinach/bok choi for dinner - 200g. I try to rotate my proteins and shoot for fish or shellfish at least every other day. I almost always have 200gms of apple for lunch and 200g of strawberries for dinner. I almost never have tomatoes or onions or milk or grissini/melba. I don't think fat fasts or apple days really work well with the plan. Neither does stress for that matter so I hope that your stall breaks! Not sure if any of that helps but I thought I'd give it a shot!

I really haven't used anything different than i did R1...even used the 1/2 and 1/2 in r1....i tried to notice and look back at my menus from there and didn't see anydays where anything caused a problem....I lost well (.75 ave a day) and the only real stalls were associated w/ tom. I will try to cut out the melbas and tomatoes and see if that helps any...I'm really PRAYING it is tom!!! The school nurse took my bp (since my ankles have been acting up) and it is 110/79. REALLY GOOD bp! sigh.....I was going to do chicken and celery tonight. Maybe some cabbage and shrimp though...save the celery and chicken for lunch tomorrow! |

Sounds like a plan! And just so you know, sometimes something will work in one round but not another (like the hnh). Who knows why?
Hope it's the tomatoes or melbas...Btw, I'll be joining you in P2 next Monday. I had a devil of a time stabilizing and I would really like to be about 8 pounds lighter than I am right now so here we go! I will be doing rx for the first time so that will be interesting... ![]() |

I LOVE the rx, but now i'm not so sure that the pellets might not have worked...though i was hungry on them.Tonight it is shrimp and cabbage...though i got it hotter than hades again! Last night i nearly scorched my throat off! I gotta learn how to back off the red pepper flakes and the sambal (red chili paste!)...a lil dot will do...just like glue! lol...elementary teacher! |

I'm sure it's got butter in it!!!![]() OH! and i did take a water pill...the ankles continued to turn into cankles...WTH? The school nurse and the BFF (medic) told me to take it and pull the water while i try and figure out what is causing it! So, i know there will be a loss tomorrow...not a true testament, BUT hopefully i can start again from there...figure this out! Last edited by icecreamjunkie; 05-03-2012 at 03:05 PM.. |
