After my first VLCD, I am down 2.5 pounds! Woohoo! So, I lost the 1 pound I gained from my load days plus 1.5 more! And I felt great all day yesterday. Not as hungry as I thought, and had my normal amount of energy. I think this is going to be really good!

What I plan to eat today:
Lunch: Chicken, raw spinach, apple, Melba snack
Dinner: Ground beef w/taco seasonings in romaine lettuce, Melba snack
Snack: Strawberries

Berta, i wasn't around yesterday afternoon, but I wanted to tell you what a great decision this was!! In order to be successful, you must be prepared and plan ahead. By taking your on protocol food with you, you did just that. Hope you are in the 50's today!!

Down a pound this morning to 200.2. I am happy the scale is moving in the right direction again, but really looking for that "1". Today is field trip day for me again, I may take an apple, but I think I will be okay until we get back.

I'm stuck, feeling weepy and down yesterday and today, I always have a really hard time getting past this set point. I have never been able to get past 147 without fighting for it Seems like a set point for me....I have been stuck at 148 for 2nd day in a row. Should I just push through it? Should I try something like an apple day? I'm feeling really hungry and am fighting big time cravings, not sure if it's emotional or if I'm just hungry. It's not TOM..I dont get Tom..so I sigh. Weather is not helping, so dreary and rainy and I'm bored, can't get outside. ok enough Debbie downer, it's just a phase, I'll get through it and concentrate on my goals, hope everyone else is doing great

Kim - to you! Stalls suck--BIG TIME! But you know what would suck worse? Cheating, then getting on the scale to see 150! Apple days are only if you are at the same weight for 5 days in a row. Keep going sweetie! You CAN do this! Try something different. Take an Epsom salt bath with a tall glass of iced club soda and some soothing music. Watch an old favorite movie. Meditate. Focus on the positive. You are doing something great for YOU. And frankly, if the weight is causing you to be upset, stay on plan but skip the scale for a day or two. Hope you feel better!

Congrats Vanessa, Jennifer & Dawn! As long as it keeps moving down we are headed in the right direction!

I stopped for coffee at 7-11 like I do every morning then realized I forgot my hnh so I waited until I got to work to get some...can you say determined? I keep ff hnh in the refrigerator here...amazingly, nobody steals it!

I went for a good walk last night, enjoyed sauna time and I was down .4 this morning. Why am I disappointed with that? I was trying a lot harder prior to this HCG round and losing nothing!!! And I'm still averaging a loss of .8 per day, not including load weight.

Busy day today so I'm keeping it very simple:

b - coffee with Splenda & ff hnh
l - cottage cheese & a strawberry smoothie
d - cottage cheese & an apple

My daughter & I are going to see comedian Kevin Hart today...can't wait!!!! I plan to spend my night doing this:

The other thing is that you know this is a sticking point for you. I would definitely skip the scale for the next couple of days but stay on protocol!

Sometimes hcger's experience head aches and yucky feelings the first week or so along with some hunger. I expect your detox will be mild because you have been LC for so long. BUT I thought it best to prepare you so you will know it is "normal". I usually get a mild head ache for 1-2 days, and I feel a bit... well.....CRABY! Then my moods usually level off until TOM hits.

Drinking a LOT of water helps the detox symptoms to pass more quickly.

Good luck! Keep in mind that you may experience some hunger the first 2 or 3 days but it does get MUCH better! Drink lots of water!

I need this too Shelby, so THANK YOU! I have been at the same weight for three days and I tink I just need to chill out. It's so hard sometimes, when I stuck in the moment and not focused on the big pictures.

thankyou so much Shelby, I needed that boost today, after all I guess that is why I joined this forum for the support. I will stay on POP and try to keep busy and stay positive, was thinking later I will go and have a hot tub and make myself a fake drink in a fancy glass with some Crystal lite and soda water and relax to some nice music, thanks for the idea.

I just want to point out that you are still averaging a loss of .63 pounds per day. I have to look at this when I am discouraged. You are also probably a lot closer to goal than some of us! I can't think of another plan where you'd lose over 1/2 pound per day!

Good Friday morning everyone.

Day #1 of P3 and down .9 .....so gonna start my morning with scrambled eggs and a pc of toast WITHOUT FLOUR, did some research and found a brand sold in Costco that is made from sprouted organic grains and its vegan (all organic) ingredients. I was wondering if rice flour is in the same category as wheat flour??? I need to check my BMI so I know how many calories Iam alloted for the days to follow.

Sorry ladies --I've been MIA for the last 2 days; work is busy crazy but I pop in a couple of minutes here and there to see what is going on with my hhcgers friends. So keep up the great work losers and those that are a little stuck/struggling, do not give up !

As for me, I have a very slow losing pattern this week, at -0.6oz per day --oh well... I will take that as long as the scale is moving in the right direction.

Thanks Sunflower & everyone for suggesting itI did tell them I was diabetic and watching my blood sugars. They seemed to understand.
This is true even though I am on a diet.

Everyone kept eyeballing mine and thought I'd have to fight for it

There was not a buffet as I thought. They brought the meal to everyone.

You could choose from pork or chicken smothered in gravy
Then they had hot rolls, noodles, and carrots.NOTHING on protocol. Then pie or cake. I am definetely a cake lover

However I ate my strawberries and passed up the cake
I was very proud of myself all night and was so anxious to weigh this morning just knowing I was good and was going to be in the 50's today.

THEN morning came and I gained a 1lb. now tell me why?

Have you considered you may be where your body needs to be? 145 is not overweight. A person can only loose to the point of where their body should be. How tall are you? Find a calculator and see what it says your weight should be?

How would you like what happened to me? I was perfectly on plan and gained 1 lb BUT I will continue on and it will come off! I was just so hoping to be in the next era this morning.Especially after taking my own food last night so I could be.

I missed you yesterday and wondered what happened to you? Please hang in there we are doing this together remember I need my buddy

Berta, it sounds like you did AWESOME!!! Did you get all your water in? That is my biggest problem when I have to go somewhere that is out of my normal routine. The thing about sometimes gaining, is that it can be from the day or two before your meeting. Plus, sometimes our bodies are just wackadoo! Don't worry about it! You are doing awesome!!!!!!!!

CONGRATULATONS IT TRULY DOES WORK WHEN WE STAY ON PROTOCOL.

Yes I had all my water(8pints) plus my tea, coffee I was pretty proud of myself afterwards. I really didn't think I could do it.I never have before.But I kept saying stick with it it's only one night and you will be down another lb tomorrow morning.

Our Pastor even made the comment "You certainly have will power... I don't think I could do that" My DH was proud of me too

Thanks Berta, I am 5 foot 4 and not sure what my healthy weight is but I think your right, the high range is around 145..so I know this will be a bit challenging to get off and I know I cannot compare myself to others. I'm hanging in there. No rhyme or reason..and I can def feel for you today..but lets cheer up and keep motivated. I went and got some groceries and and preparing all my food for the next few days. I also found milo water? 0 calories and you just add a 1/2 teaspoon to your water and many flavors tastes so yummy. I'm making some ground chicken taco meat and curry chicken..it's lifting my spirits. I have to say that when I was shopping my jeans were kinda hanging a bit, now I really have not had these jeans on since starting the diet..so when I got home I measured and I am down 1 1/2 inches in my waist and an inch in my hips seriously? :clapping: So maybe I'm an inch girl. I gotta stop with the scale. Have you taken any measurements Berta?

I took them when I first started I am going to measure once a month.
I am ok. I just was dissappointed after taking my own food and everything... just knowing I would loose another lb again.
But I did go to BR awhile ago and weighed again I was 260.4
But I will go with the 261.8 because I want a loss in the morning.
I went to BR before weighing this morning but #2 didn't happen until awhile ago. So actually I lost .4lbs.Because yesterday I was 260.8

Just don't you get discouraged because I would love to look and weigh like you!I am 5"4 and I am suppose to weigh 145. I am large frame. So if you are
small framed then you would probably need to weigh a bit less. Just how much more do you want to loose?

Seems no one is ever satisfied with their weight.I tell you if I get to 150 I am NOT going to sweat it!

I have to laugh because I see where so many of the ladies on here use to weigh what I do now and they are in thier 150s and still wanting to loose.But then I suppose if I were younger I might want that too.But I am old now and it really doesn't matter to me that much. I just want to be healthy and look normal
