Thank you to all who replied to my post. I have read Dr Simeons protocol a couple of times now. It just didnt make sense to me when the so called support from the site where I got my drops from told me to just go off the diet for 3 weeks and eat normally!!!!
It made sense to reset the hypothalmus for P3 and then go onto P4 and then go back to the diet. Now when I reach the end of P4, do I have to start from the beggining and do my load days again before continuing P2????? I have read alot of different things on that too. I woke up this morning and still maintaining my lwd going into P3. Last day of no drops and tomoro morning is the start of P3. Kinda excited for P3 but cant wait for Round 2. Iam guessing there is another thread for P3 on here. Can someone direct me to a good thread? The home page for threads is confusing haha. Thanks Jackie |

Today is my first VLCD and so far, so good! It is much better than when I tried it with the fake drops! What a difference! I feel some hunger, but not like it was without the HCG. And I have my normal amount of energy, not feeling weak or anything. This is going great!
I managed to gain 1 pound over my two load days, so not bad. I'm thinking that will come off lickity split! I have stopped using my facial lotion over the last few days. My face is pretty dry and tight, but that's okay. I can put up with it to get the weight off! Today's food entails.. Morning snack - 1/2 apple and 1 round Melba snack Lunch - Chicken salad (HCG recipe with apple - the other half), 1 round Melba snack, romaine lettuce Dinner - 3.5 oz. Cod, raw spinach, strawberries, 1 round Melba snack Since we can't use oil, what is the best way to bake cod? Put a little water in the baking dish with it?

Your 1lb gain will come off by tomorrow morning plus some, so don't sweat that part. To help with the dry and tight feeling on your face try using a small amount of baby oil, it helps me a little bit. |

Hello HCGER Friends
![]() I am down 1lb today. Won't be long I'll be in the 50's and I can hardly believe it . This is just unreal![]() BUT I LOVE IT![]() I had an accidental cheat last night and was a bit concerned I wouldn't loose today. We didn't get home from bible study until like 8:30 p.m. I had eaten lunch at 3:00 and I felt like I was starving. So I took my drops and started fixing my meal. I had chicken breast thawed out waited 20 min (was extremely hungry by then) rinsed the chicken off, threw it on the grill and fixed my lettuce and mustard dip. When it was ready started eating it .Half way through my meal I realized I hadn't weighed the chicken And it was nearly gone by that time!![]() But guess it didn't hurt. I had actually taken some chicken breasts and divided them into 3.5 oz pkg. and froze them. But I had taken this particular one out for DH and had forgotten about it as he ate something else. But anyway alls good I truly am concerned about tonight though. We are obligated to go to a Seniors meeting with our Pastor and his wife. They are having a meal and then services. We leave at 5:00 and will eat at 6:30 it takes us an hr and half to get there. Anyway I have not been in a social setting with food since starting.I have been here in my home with me in control of what I fix & eat. I do not think I can go there and not eat anything while every one else is eating. I am hoping they will have something I can eat. I thought I would take my WF dressing and Melba toast and hope and pray they have lettuce salad. I can always just eat the lettuce!Other wise I guess I will just take a very very small portion of whatever seems to be the closest to protocol that is there.I hope this will work. What would you ladies do? I really don't want to even go. And I suppose I need to learn to eat in public and still eat healthy. This will be my real first challenge![]() Sorry I didn't intend to write a book ![]() ![]()

Berta, I agree. You should cook some chicken and through it on some lettuce and take it with you. I would not chance it. I seriously doubt you will find anything P2 friendly and you really don't want to set yourself back 3-5 days. That's just too discouraging. The protocol is hard enough, but without the drops on the scale, it's torture
![]() I decided it's time for me to end this round. R2 has been very challenging and I'm thankful to have completed a short round without cheats and that I lost 19 new lbs (25lbs counting loading). I will be checking back in here to see how everyone is doing and be back for R3 the end of August when the kids start school, unless I'm having trouble stabilizing, then I'll start the first of July. Have a GREAT day!! Cindy T

Hi Shelby!! I was hoping you finally stabilized. I'll be hoping you have a great round and stabilize like a rock!
I just finished R2 and struggled the entire time with hunger. I thought at first it was because I didn't load well enough, but the hunger never left. I'm hoping R3 isn't so challenging ![]() Cindy T |

Just FYI
![]() I have a grilled 3.5oz chicken breast on lettuce with a crumbled melba toast and my WF Dressing in a little container and fresh sliced strawberries and a bottle of water in my little sack to take with me tonight! ![]() Now all I have to do is keep my eyes closed while I eat so I don't see everyone elses food ![]() I really want to get into the 50's in the morning! |
