I know we are not supposed to exercise on P2 but I was before I started, and it's great for stress relief! I have downgraded the intensity and I seem to be losing okay.

Drink lots of water!!! Here's to a big drop tomorrow!

Good morning ladies. VLCD17 and I'm down 1.2 this morning . I'm so glad to be back in the 170's as I haven't seen this in a few years since doing WW. Now I just need to buy some new pants because my DD keeps telling me that it looks like I pooped in my pants .

Only 7 more days of VLCD and I'll be enjoying my HWC and GY, I can't wait!!!

WOE: HCG diet drops (sublingual)
Start Date: March 16th/11
Thank you to all who replied to my post. I have read Dr Simeons protocol a couple of times now. It just didnt make sense to me when the so called support from the site where I got my drops from told me to just go off the diet for 3 weeks and eat normally!!!!
It made sense to reset the hypothalmus for P3 and then go onto P4 and then go back to the diet. Now when I reach the end of P4, do I have to start from the beggining and do my load days again before continuing P2????? I have read alot of different things on that too.
I woke up this morning and still maintaining my lwd going into P3. Last day of no drops and tomoro morning is the start of P3. Kinda excited for P3 but cant wait for Round 2.
Iam guessing there is another thread for P3 on here. Can someone direct me to a good thread? The home page for threads is confusing haha.

Thanks
Jackie

Today is my first VLCD and so far, so good! It is much better than when I tried it with the fake drops! What a difference! I feel some hunger, but not like it was without the HCG. And I have my normal amount of energy, not feeling weak or anything. This is going great!

I managed to gain 1 pound over my two load days, so not bad. I'm thinking that will come off lickity split!

I have stopped using my facial lotion over the last few days. My face is pretty dry and tight, but that's okay. I can put up with it to get the weight off!

Today's food entails..

Morning snack - 1/2 apple and 1 round Melba snack
Lunch - Chicken salad (HCG recipe with apple - the other half), 1 round Melba snack, romaine lettuce
Dinner - 3.5 oz. Cod, raw spinach, strawberries, 1 round Melba snack

Since we can't use oil, what is the best way to bake cod? Put a little water in the baking dish with it?

Yeah, for anyone normal it would be a good problem. Unfortunately, I'm one of the only women that absolutely hates to shop, so for me this is horrible.

Sometimes it can be very confusing when you view all of the different threads and websites that are available to us. Dr. S explains it to us in his P&I manual and says that after we finish P2 we should do 3 weeks of P3 and 3 weeks of P4. After completing P4 you start all over again with loading and then going into P2 again.

Your 1lb gain will come off by tomorrow morning plus some, so don't sweat that part.
To help with the dry and tight feeling on your face try using a small amount of baby oil, it helps me a little bit.

I have been using my normal facial lotions and it seems to be working fine. I use the Avon Anew line but the Neutrogena oil-free moisture is a good option too.

I use water and spices to cook my chicken and fish.

Hello HCGER Friends
I am down 1lb today. Won't be long I'll be in the 50's and I can hardly believe it. This is just unrealBUT I LOVE IT

I had an accidental cheat last night and was a bit concerned I wouldn't loose today. We didn't get home from bible study until like 8:30 p.m. I had eaten lunch at 3:00 and I felt like I was starving. So I took my drops and started fixing my meal.

I had chicken breast thawed out waited 20 min (was extremely hungry by then) rinsed the chicken off, threw it on the grill and fixed my lettuce and mustard dip. When it was ready started eating it .Half way through my meal I realized I hadn't weighed the chicken And it was nearly gone by that time!

But guess it didn't hurt. I had actually taken some chicken breasts and divided them into 3.5 oz pkg. and froze them. But I had taken this particular one out for DH and had forgotten about it as he ate something else. But anyway alls good

I truly am concerned about tonight though. We are obligated to go to a Seniors meeting with our Pastor and his wife. They are having a meal and then services. We leave at 5:00 and will eat at 6:30 it takes us an hr and half to get there. Anyway I have not been in a social setting with food since starting.I have been here in my home with me in control of what I fix & eat.

I do not think I can go there and not eat anything while every one else is eating. I am hoping they will have something I can eat. I thought I would take my WF dressing and Melba toast and hope and pray they have lettuce salad. I can always just eat the lettuce!Other wise I guess I will just take a very very small portion of whatever seems to be the closest to protocol that is there.I hope this will work.

What would you ladies do? I really don't want to even go. But as I said we are obligated And I suppose I need to learn to eat in public and still eat healthy. This will be my real first challenge

Sorry I didn't intend to write a book

Berta, honestly, if you are really committed, you should take your own meal. Planning is everything with this protocol and it's not worth risking, in my humble opinion!

Being diabetic, it's really simple to say that you are changing your eating to keep track of your blood sugar. Hope that was helpful!

Congrats on your continued losing!

Thanks Sunflower. I use Avon as well. Ill have to check the ingredients in the one I use. It's not the Anew line. And thanks for the answer on the fish. I'll give it a try.

Berta, I went to a Cardinals baseball game on Tuesday where everyone around me was eating hot dogs, peanuts and nachos. But, thanks to the suggestions here on this board I was thoroughly prepared. I took with me 2 bottled waters, an apple and a bison burger wrapped in lettuce. I wasn't hungry and I didn't feel left out being the only one not eating.
I agree with everyone else, go prepared with your own food. If we all stayed in and missed our events with others while on HCG we would be miserable.

Berta, I agree. You should cook some chicken and through it on some lettuce and take it with you. I would not chance it. I seriously doubt you will find anything P2 friendly and you really don't want to set yourself back 3-5 days. That's just too discouraging. The protocol is hard enough, but without the drops on the scale, it's torture

I decided it's time for me to end this round. R2 has been very challenging and I'm thankful to have completed a short round without cheats and that I lost 19 new lbs (25lbs counting loading).

I will be checking back in here to see how everyone is doing and be back for R3 the end of August when the kids start school, unless I'm having trouble stabilizing, then I'll start the first of July.

Have a GREAT day!!

That would be fine to do but I don't want to eat a cold meal.I will make it ok.I will either take a salad or not eat. I only have one more pound to loose to be in another number so I will make it.I am dedicated or I would not have stayed with it this long!

I went to a whole weekend with loads of all kinds of food being eaten around me. They are food porn for me. I took all my own food with me and made it myself there, from my pre weighed chicken breast to my p2 chili ingredients to make there. I even brought my own non-stick pan to cook it in. I made it thru the whole weekend without a hitch. I would not bet on them having the right food that you could eat there. I would rather take my own apple or melba toast or even my own salad and meat, than risk that awesome progress you have made. I was on my no hhcg days while I was away, God gave me much grace! I want to be able to get thru stabilization so I can be stabilized when we go away this summer in June. YOU ARE DOING SO TREMENDOUSLY WELL, DON'T JEAPORDIZE IN ANY WAY OKAY?

Hi guys! Just catching up with y'all! Since I never fully stabilized after my last round I will be joining you this weekend--loading Saturday and Sunday. This will be my first rx round so should be interesting... Anyway, just saying hi to new faces and familiar...

Hi Shelby!! I was hoping you finally stabilized. I'll be hoping you have a great round and stabilize like a rock!

I just finished R2 and struggled the entire time with hunger. I thought at first it was because I didn't load well enough, but the hunger never left. I'm hoping R3 isn't so challenging

Just FYI
I have a grilled 3.5oz chicken breast on lettuce with a crumbled melba toast and my WF Dressing in a little container and fresh sliced strawberries and a bottle of water in my little sack to take with me tonight!

Now all I have to do is keep my eyes closed while I eat so I don't see everyone elses food

I really want to get into the 50's in the morning!
