Happy Wednesday!

Scale said I released .6 today. I was hoping for a bigger whoosh after TOM but I'll take it!

Today's plan:

b - coffee with snl and ff hnh
l - ff cottage cheese & grapefruit
d - fish & spinach w/ lemon juice
s - strawberry smoothie

I'm going to try and knock out my walk before sitting down to watch church live. I REALLY enjoy my walks, crazy huh?

I feel like my loss is slow but I'm averaging a .78 pound loss per day. I've released 9.4 pounds from pre-load weight & 13.2 from highest loading weight. Must stay encouraged!!!

Good luck to those of you that are just loading and getting started, if you follow Dr S's protocol, you will be successful. Hope the rest of you see nice losses this morning
Congratulations. I'm on VLCD 16 also and I'm down 0.4 this morning too. So far I've lost about 19lbs this round, including the 7lbs from loading. I'm so ready for this round to be over...I can almost smell the bacon and taste my favorite food in the world "Greek Yogurt"!!! 8 more days of VLCD for me, hopefully I can make it.

I totally agree with you, in my two rounds I have found success only when I have strictly followed Dr. S's protocol. I know that some have been able to go off a bit and experiment, but I'd rather do it his way to guarantee success.

You're doing great. You have an awesome attitude about it, as long as we're losing it's a heck of a lot better than gaining. Keep up the good work.

Oddly enough, I was maintaining well eating whatever I wanted! BUT, when I did want to lose, I was eating well and working out and not losing, hence HHCG to the rescue!

You are doing FABULOUS!!!

170.4 this morning - I overate on nuts and olives, particularly, and earned this correction day fair and square. *blush*

Congrats on the losses!!

Welcome new hcgers

Rice- I also lost a bunch on Atkins years ago and hit a stall, or a wall. I just stopped losing no matter what I did. After 3 months of frustration, I gave up and gained ever pound plus 20 more. Boy do I wish I would have had hcg then! Good luck and I hope you do GREAT!!

I STS today. Hoping to finish strong. LDD will be next Tuesday, May 8th.

I was stuck for YEARS at 227 so I should be more excited than I am to be 188...

Thank you so much, you are doing fantastic lady!!!

I ordered the same dress in two sizes from Old Navy to wear to an event at the end of the month where I'll see LOTS of people I haven't seen in a while. I ordered it in medium and large. I tried on the large and it fits just fine now so I'm hoping the medium will fit by Memorial Day weekend!

How often do you measure? I am thinking I will about once a month.
I have 32 more VLCD left.

Hey Berta, LDD means Last Dose Day or Last Drop Date. This refers to the last day that you take HCG which will be the day that you mark your Last Drop Weight (LDW).
Was there another abbreviation? Maybe STS...if so that's Stay the Same.

WOE: HCG diet drops (sublingual)
Start Date: March 16th/11
K so I hope Iam on the right thread now...have never been apart of threads before and when I get redirected Iam lost.

I have come to the end of Phase 2 after 45 days. Iam happy with the weight loss to date but still have 15-20lbs that I want to lose. Now the site where I got my drops told me to take a 3 week break, with no drops of course but to eat a healthy normal diet and then resume the diet till I lose what I need to. Has anyone done it this way? It doesnt seem right to me to come all this way to just go off the diet and eat normally for 3 weeks without resetting the hypothalmus within those 3 weeks.
I need some advice ASAP. Some sites say to break also for 6 weeks and then resume.
I also need to find a good site that will tell me how many calories I will need in a day when I do reach my goal and start eating again in Phase 3.

Thank you
Jackie

Hi Jackie
These ladies are EXCELLENT on this thread.
I am new myself but if you look up Pounds& Inches by Dr. Simeon. It has the entire plan there to read.
But as far as I know it's 21 days on PH3.... 21 days on PH4 Then wait 3weeks. You can go back to PH2.
But don't take my word for it someone will help you tomorrow that has done it for awhile.I am still on Rn1 of PH2Dawn is great to answer questions and always explains things.

Thanks Roberta, I just finished reading all the posts from the beggining. Iam going to read the pounds and inches which I may have skimmed through already but could have been something different. I just have been told and read so many different ways of doing things, it gets frustrating cuz tomorrow will be the end of my 72 hrs without my drops as I go into phase 3. So I hope tomorrow morning I will have some other posts and suggestions. Thanks again for your reply and Iam sure we will chat again and congrats on your success as well. I have my mom on the drops too and she is doing okay.
Jackie

To do this correctly, you should spend 3 weeks on p3 with sugars & starches, then 3 weeks on p4 slowly adding in some starches. Be sure to continue to weigh every day & if you are 2 pounds over LDW, you should do a correction day.

Good luck!!!

After 3 days of increases, today I finally lost again. I lost all the gain (1 pound total) and another 0.4. I was glad to finally see a loss today. Still not to onederland, but hopefully someday soon.

Jackie, you take a minimum of 6 weeks off between rounds if you are following Dr S and Pounds and Inches. for the first 21 days, you eat a diet with NO added starches or sugars. Then for the next 21 days you slowly add starches and sugars back into your diet. During this time, you maintain a 2 pound window around your LDW. Then you may do a second round after this 6 weeks. Please read Pounds and Inches, it is the original research protocol developed by Dr Simeons. There are many variations out there now, but his is the "gold standard" that most of us follow.

Good luck with maintaining your losses!!

VLCD 18 (mis-counted yesterday), down 0.4 pounds this morning. Three more injections after today, P3 starts next Wednesday. Looking forward to a few more choices in my menu, I can't lie - but this is the beauty of a short round. I don't feel totally deprived yet, but getting close. It's only 3 weeks, I can do it!!
