Spotting (a little TMI)

I'm on my second day of VLCD and I have been spotting since the end of loading day #1. I sort of freaked out but then read that spotting is a somewhat normal side effect from the HCG. I'm just wondering if the spotting is going to subside or if it's going to last this whole round.

I read that you shouldn't take HCG during periods but my periods are usually very light so I don't know if I'm going to be able to really distinguish between spotting and a light period. I know for sure the spotting is related to the HCG because it happened almost immediately and my period isn't due for a while. Anybody go through this?

My Stats
Loading 1 : 232
Loading 2 : 234
VLCD1: 236
VLCD2: 232.5

I gained 4lbs during loading and I've lost 3.5lbs after my first day of VLCD!

Hi Benny! Are you taking RX or Homeopathic? I use the hHCG and didn't have any spotting, but my periods did become farther apart.

I'm using homeopathic pellets. Does that make a big difference you think?

I can't speak for hhCG, but hCG stimulates the endometrial lining and can cause spotting, heavier periods, and bleeding between cycles. It is all very normal and not an indictor something is wrong. I am not convinced hhCG works the same way, but if it DID, it would be fair to assume the same side effects could be expected

I use the homeopathic, have for 10 + rounds now, and I spot sometimes too. Perfectly normal to do so during P2 and dosing. The homeopathic disturbs the hormones and it is to be expected to have TOM change too. It can be longer, shorter, heavier, lighter, more cramping less. Anything goes!!
