Dawn, I'm sure you'll do GREAT!!
Jeanette, I hope you see that whoosh fairy tomorrow. I'm down 2lbs today. Today is vlcd14 and I've lost 12 lbs (plus load weight). I was happy to see the 2lb drop since I've had smaller, but more steady losses so far this time. I think I only had one 2 day stretch of STS this round, where last round I had them every few days, but had bigger losses on days that I lost. I hope everyone is feeling great!! Cindy T |

I have another question
Are ALL Walden Farms products allowed on PH2? And can we eat our meat on top of lettuce? And how about Smuckers Stawberry Sugar free jelly? Thanks Last edited by Berta48; 04-22-2012 at 12:32 PM.. |

Yes you can eat your meat on top of your lettuce, but it will count as you veggie intake for that meal. |

I know 2veggies a day are allowed.Just knew we couldn'tmix veggies on PH2 so didn't know if we could have the meat on it either? I am brand new will start Tuesday morning so I still have ALOT to learn. ![]() ![]() ![]() I have been thinking of grilled shrimp with MRs Dash tomato basil on my lettuce with the Waldens farms rasberry dressing Last edited by Berta48; 04-22-2012 at 01:15 PM.. |

Are we allowed Broth anytime we want it on PH2 to help curb hunger if we have any?
I realize it is very high in sodium so you would have to either drink more water or use just a small amount. But just was wondering if it was allowed on PH2. I am not one to make my own it never tastes good just to drink. ![]() The kind I have is Organic. Last edited by Berta48; 04-22-2012 at 03:34 PM.. |

Well, P2 off to a not so good start. Just got back from the CVS Minute Clinic and the reason for my laryngitis is: double ear infections, sinus infection and allergies
I am one hot mess. I am on antibiotics, mouthwash for the pain in my throat, and have a note to stay out of work for 2 more days. I just hope my beginnings of my P2 are not jinxed. I hope I can lose this week. At least I have not been hungry all day |

Berta--I have used Walden Farms on my P2s and have done well. They add a bit of flavor to an otherwise boring P2. I also do soups while on P2. I do them for meals more than for snacks. I use tea and coffee for the in between times. But yes, you can use them for in between too. I think they have reduced sodium broth and those would be perfect for P2.

I don't think either, Walfen Farms or broth, are allowed on strict protocol, but I know many use them without issues. If you choose to use them, be sure you have fat free broth. You will do great!!

Dawn, hope you get to feeling better real soon!
I am on VLCD 15 and down another 1#! 3# to goal!!! I am so excited. I was considering doing a longer round and lowering my Goal to 135. Not sure if I really need to do that. I would be content at 145, but........ I am 5'4" medium boned. I think I am supposed to be between 126 and 140. Any thoughts on this ladies? Hope you all have a wonderful day! Winders |

Dawn (the original), I hope you are feeling much better today. Sorry you are so sick.
Great job Winders, you will be at goal before you know it. As far as your goal, maybe see where you end up this round and how you feel about that. 135 would probably be okay, just harder to maintain I would guess. Good job MemoryKeeper, I feel the same way about the rate of loss, but can only do so much. At least it was a half pound in the right direction. Keep up the good work, bacon is not far away for you. As for me, I was up 0.4 on Saturday, down 0.8 yesterday and down another 0.4 today, so averaging 0.4 for the last few days, not as fast as I would like, but it is what it is. TOM should be over now, and my hunger level was much better yesterday, so hopefully this week will be better.

VLCD 8, down 0.8 pounds this morning
Dawn, so sorry to hear you're sick. Hope they gave you abc and you will be better quickly Winders, you're so close I bet you are looking and feeling great! I don't know about changing your goal and lengthening your round. Perhaps go a little longer and give yourself a cushion of a few pounds??? It really depends on how you are feeling and if you are ready to continue in P2....Berta, your drops arrive today!!! Tomorrow you get to begin loading, then losing. Memorykeeper, you're rocking it!! I know what you mean about how our expectations change, funny isn't it? You're doing great tho. How many more rounds you planning on? Hope you all have a great Monday

Hi Ladies! Looks like ya'll are doing great! Just wanted to report in that I'm still in my 2 lb window at 185.5. I had to do 2 CD's in P3 but it was only b/c of my margarita habit! So stopping the drops early didn't affect my ability to stabilize in P3. Thank goodness! I'm on day 3 of P4 but am starting JUDDD today!
Good luck on P2! You all will rock it! |

Dawn--you are too funny!! We do need to distinguish ourselves somehow, huh? I am known as dawny some places, because of my screen name. Maybe you guys can do the same. But still seeing dawn perks my eyes right up! LOL. Especially this past week because I was on TOM too!! LOL. Funny coincidence.
Jennifer--they did give me antibiotics. Have to take them for 10 days though. Not happy about that. Winders--I am the same height as you. I am 5.3 and 3/4s when the doc measured me. I put my goal down as 115. I like having a 5 pound window when done with hcg, because that 2 lb window that Dr S uses is too slim. I need a bigger weight fluctuation window. I like being 120, and under. 118 is what I like to mostly hang out at. But that is me!!! If you have seen my pictures at goal 2 summers ago, I have some bikini shots. I am not slim by any means and still have jiggly bits on me at that weight. So I will never be satisfied it seems. You will find out for yourself what weight you like WHEN you get there. Just take it in chunks. You will know when you get there if you are done or not. I have been 133 most of my life and am there now (well in 2 days I should be LOL) but I still have those jiggly bits that I don't want. So down I go!!!

I am down 2.2 lbs today !!!!! So glad. Today is my first day with 2 antibiotics. I am hopeful that I can still keep going down. We will see. I might do some soup today as it is very cold here and my chest hurts from coughing so much.
Berta, what I do when I have soups is too simple. I do an egg drop soup that I love!! It is so simple--just heat chicken broth, add in the allotted eggs of 1 whole + 3 whites scrambled. Then eat!!!! Nothing else. The other soup I love is here: Simeon's Protocol Recipes Only Post #6!!! I will kiss metqa when I meet her because I could eat this soup every single day. Oooh, maybe this will be lunch today. Onions are a good antibacterial. This is such an awesome soup. Every time I make it, I have to make sure I am the only one who is home because my DH looks very longingly at it LOL. It is so tasty!!! Hope you enjoy it too!!! |
