((((Berta)))) hugs and prayers! I'm sorry you feel so bad. It could be a reaction to the hhcg and all the "scandalous food." Just hang in there and see how it goes tomorrow.

Thak you so much.

I think my body is just rejecting all the fatty foods.I am not use to that.
I normally use low fat items. We'll see? I start my 1st VLCD tomorrow.

After a terrible five day stall I am down 1.6 pounds.

I'm so glad that stall finally broke. I'm in the 130's now!

I think that cutting fruit out (apples and oranges) broke the stall.

I have ten days left on my journey.

Berta, I am sorry you got sick again. I sure hope that today with a total change in food that you have no more sickness. Good luck to you today.

Great job on the loss Jeanette, and Congratulations on making it to a new decade! Down 1.5 is pretty cool at this point in P2. I would be the same way, eating exactly what I ate yesterday to try to repeat. Probably silly, but I would be giving it a try anyway.
Kim, great job on losing your load weight and then some. I hope you see another great number tomorrow.

I also had a great loss and am down another pound today!! So VLCD15 -1.0 for a total of 11.8.

VLCD 11 for me, no loss, up 0.4 this morning. Thinking it was bathroom issues, which are now resolved.

So many nice losses this morning, you must all be feeling so good.

Berta, hopefully getting on the vlcd will help resolve your issues. I truly hope you feel better today.

Good morning ladies!

VLCD 3, down 2.0lbs this morning --that makes it a total of 7.2 lbs loss in three days. 1.6lbs to go in order to get ride of the loading gain.

Keep up the great work ladies

Berta, I'm with Jeanette...this could be something else. I had a cousin that tried hcg a while ago and she was terribly sick from it. She never found out what it was, but as soon as she stopped taking the hcg she felt better. Have you completely read through Dr. S guide? He mentions some medical conditions that may not be able to work with the hcg.

Looks like we've got lot of losers today!!!

As for me, I'm down 1.4 this morning!!! I didn't eat much yesterday because I wasn't very hungry. I had coffee for bfast, cottage cheese for lunch and chicken w/lettuce for dinner. I didn't have any melba toast or fruit yesterday.

I'll post my menu for today as soon as I know what that will be.

Berta I hope you are feeling better today and will have a good loss on your vlcd 1. Some people lose on their loading days so nothing to worry about. Also I take hormone replacement it hasn't hurt my losses and I haven't had any problems.

Congratulations to all the losers it looks like everyone had a good loss, to the ones who stayed the same or gained a bit.

I am down .8 today which is good after a gain one day and staying the same the next day. I have 2 pounds to get back to ldw and need to do it by Sunday as that will be vlcd 21.

Good morning ladies

First I want to thank all of you for all your nice responses. You are a
GREAT TEAM
I was down again this morningBut I am happy about it.

I feel so much better this morning(usually do after getting sick).

I start my 1st VLCD so I honestly don't think there will be any more of this sickness I just think I ate to much and my body couldn't hold it.I had been on a Low Fat plan beofre this.
SO I think from here on out it is going to be ok!

Conratulations to ALL the loosers This is so wonderful!

Just be careful when you get the bacon again and keep it to one or two pieces and not the whole pkg!
(Though I think I could eat it all I love bacon too)
Hope everyone has a wonderful VLCD.

I will let you know how it goes for me this evening before I hit the sack

I read the Pounds and Inches. But honestly not all of it.Just the Diet plan and food list.
I read a bit of the other but didn't understand half of what the were talking about so I didn't finish reading.I think I will be ok. I just am not use to eating all that fat. That was rediculous! But I wanted to do it right.

How do I get the multiple quotes to answer each person like you do on one page?

Good Morning All!!

Berta- I'm glad your feeling better. My hcg cost $125.

Adeline- I'm in Ca, but there are weight loss clinics everywhere that prescribe hcg, but many are expensive. I've also considered buying hcg overseas, but many have stopped selling it and I don't know of a reliable one either. Yes, if your dose is too high you can get hunger, but apparently if the dose is too low, the hunger is even worse. I tried upping my dose first and I was so hungry, hungry doesn't even describe it. I'm feeling much better now with the lower dose.

Jeanette- Congrats on your milestone!!

Dawn2- you are getting closer and closer to "Onederland", so exciting!

I STS today. I expected it after a big loss yesterday. I still haven't decided if I'm ending at a short round on Sunday or if I'm going to keep going another week or 2. I really would like to lose more, but it's been really hard the last week. Hopefully the hunger will be back in control and I can continue.

Lunch:
P2 Chili
Dinner:
Chicken Taco Salad
(seasoned chicken over romaine with sf salsa)
Snacks:
Apples

I really would like to lose more, but it's been really hard the last week. Hopefully the hunger will be back in control and I can continue.

Lunch:
P2 Chili
Dinner:
Chicken Taco Salad
(seasoned chicken over romaine with sf salsa)
Snacks:
Apples

I do feel better. But now I am getting hungry. My tummy is growling.
But It is nearly time for lunch.
I was reading the short form on the main HCG page and it says 10-20 drops my bottle says 10 drops 3X a day? I have been doing the ten.It also says if hungry take 6drops 6X a day That would be impossible for me wiith my scheduel. As I don't even eat breakfast until 11:30 or later because I have to wait 20min after the HCG then I take my meds and have to wait anther 30min before I eat.
I could not afford the RX drops being on SS so I pray this HHCG works!

I have to remember hunger isn't going to kill me and I can eat in a little while. I have 39 more days to go
In my opinon I wouldn't buy them overseas you never know what you are getting and once they have your money you may never be able to reach them again!

The diet list says not to use 2small tomatoes and count it as one medium.Well I have these little tomatoes that are about the size of a golf ball.I am wondering if I ate around four of them if that would honestly hurt?Or maybe just threeThey have to be eaten!

I always add a little extra on veggies if I have the calories. I've been known to eat 1 pound of cabbage (yes, seriously). Google the size of an average tomato, and then weigh the two together (after trimming). I always go by weight.

I use Spark People and figure my clalories there.I was a bit under 500 but I might add another tomatoe and make it five.

I love cooked cabbage but don't think I could eat it without some butter or margarine.I have thought of cooking it in broth that should helo some

I might fudge some later on but for now I want to stick with it as close as I can.

To everyone is is still losing, congrats........for my other friends, it will happen for you soon.

I am still losing though.......you know, i am afraid to interrupt protocol, man if i do, i don't what will happen -when i start feeling better..dont' know if i'll have the will to return to protocal.............. food i hear you calling my name from the 4 corners.

I did meet my mini goal of 5lb wkly, so that's some consolation

Berta I did a big pot of cabbage today, just sliced it up and added, cumin, garlic onion powder, basil, herb and garlic, paprika, chili and some water just to steam it and it turned out really yummy, that was my lunch with some shrimp. Dumped tons of hot sauce on it. Of course eating my lunch at the computer, got called away and came back and had no shrimp left... my little 4 lb yorkie climbed onto the chair and had a smorgasbord...OMG she was licking her chops for awhile with all the hot sauce :big grin:

HA HA guess your doggie will gain few lbs now ya think? I'd love to have little yorkie but DH won't allow pets in the house.
How much of the pot of cabbage did you eat? I would feel much fuller if I could have more veggies. But I have done like a 1/2 cup.Because I know that is usually a serving
I just ate my lunch about 30 minutea ago and my tummy still growling!I am drinking water and tea to try to fill it up more.

I have three more hours before evening meal. But it won't kill me. SO I have to tough it out!

I have lost on my load days and I don't really like that.I am thinking I didn't do it right. But no way will I EVER eat that much fat again.I will do a graze all day or make some butter cookies

We will see how my tummy does tonight,It usually doesn't hit me until in the evening after I've went to bed or just before. So far so good though

I think I'll fix my cabbage for supperWish DR. S would have been more specific on the veggies and the amount like he did the meat!

You are doing good girl! I am anxious to weigh in the morning since this is my first VLCD.I'll keep ya posted!

Hi Berta --Unless our veterans tell you otherwise, you should not double anything within the same meal (they advise to be carefull with tomatoes). You may increase other veggies though --but don't mix different kinds other than celery as it's a free food! You will get it slowly...

You may want to make it very simple for the 1st week or so. That's what I am doing. I will start changing things around later but did not want introduce many items right away.

Breakfast: black cofee with truvia and 1 lemon Juice
Lunch around 12is pm: Chicken/spinach(salad)/1 apple
Dinner around 5ish pm: Fish/lettuce/strawberries+truvia to sweetten

Plenty of water throughout the day
I make my own salad dressing with red wine vinegar and spices.

That's it! This time around I am doing much better than the 1st round!
I hope this helps a little.
