Good luck on P2! You all will rock it!
Natasha---that is awesome news Now we don't have to fear going off the drops a day or so early. That has always been a great fear of mine. Thank you so much for updating us, I really appreciate it.

Oh, my voice is back. But it is not MY voice, real scratchy. I will rest it today and tomorrow, just like the nurse practitioner said I should. My throat is really sore and feels very swollen. I guess I should wear a scarf to help it. Soup should help too.

Good morning ladies!

Officially joining the P2 club as today is my 1st day of VLCD. The loading left me with 9lbs increase but I know it is a matter of days before they are gone/vanished; some of them are water weight anyway.

Dawn, sorry for being sick -I'm glad you are starting to feel better and your loss is not affected!

Those that are losing -keep up the great work! We can do this and we will

Have a wonderful week ladies

Well, four days on the road, kept to protocl, lost 1 lb. Not my greatest round ever, but 10 pounds gone is 10 pounds gone! I'm laughing at myself because normally 10 pounds would take three months and I did it in 30 days...and I'm bummed because it isn't more! Women!! I think today will be last dose day.

Have a good day!

I am down zero again today. I have been expecting to not lose for a few days, since I have lost 8.2 in six days. Looking foward to a whoosh!!

Dawny, I just followed the earlier threads in picking which day to start the new thread, plus Sunday is the first day of the week. Not sure who did that first...does it matter?

Hope everyone has a great day!!

Good morning ladies, sorry I don't have much time to catch up on all of the personals from the weekend. I hope everyone had a great weekend and have great weigh-ins this morning.
Dawn - I'm so sorry that you're not feeling well . I hope your antibiotics start working fast so that you can have a quick recovery. You're in my prayers.

Berta - I wish you well on your next couple of days loading...I so envy you right now. What I wouldn't give to have some bacon, heavy whipping cream and greek yogurt right now. Have fun!

Everyone else - Great job on your losses, you guys are some major "LOSERS"!!!

As for me, I'm doing pretty good. I'm on VLCD #8 and my total weight loss is 12.6 so far.
Drew and Shirley, thanks so much for the Natural Calm suggestion. OMG!!! I have actually gone every day since I've started taking it . Sorry if that's TMI but I'm strangely excited about it.
I love all of my HCG friends, I'll TTYL!!!

Hey ladies, let's get some menu's posted for today. Sometimes when I see your planned menus for the day it helps me with mine.

Here are my plans for the day:
B - 2 cups of Coffee w/Stevia
L - Tilapia w/steamed spinach
D - Grilled chicken w/butter lettuce and Red wine vinegar
150oz. water
I'm really trying not to do the Melba toast or fruit unless I'm hungry in between meals.

Looking forward to seeing some of your menus.

Hi Berta,

Honestly, you have nothing to be afraid of! With the HCG you will not be hungry. Try to stay away from too many things with artificial sweetners and eat as clean as you can. What would you put the jelly on, your melba toast? Remember even sugar free things contain calories and carbs.

Hugs,

Adeline

Your menu sounds great and I never thought of doing the shredded chicken in a lettuce wrap, yummy idea!!! See, this is why I love it when we post our menus because we get some amazing ideas. I tried the baked apple before but I think I did it wrong because it was gross. How do you bake yours?

I am sorta aggravated I THOUGHT I bought Half N Half for my load days and went to use a bit in my coffee this am and saw it was Fat Free Half Half!

We were dicussing Splenda and I purchased some Walden Farms for my salads and saw it has Sucralose in it and we are allowed those items so I guess Splenda is allowed. I am so thankful, Because when I was doing Atkins I tried Stevia and that aftertaste just did me in.If it doesn't taste good the first time I dont want it again!

Boy I hope I do as well as you have that is an awesome weight loss CONGRATULATIONS It would take me me a month and hald to loose that much on myown

I remember before I started R1 on my first load day I went to QT and bought a cappuccino and when I got in the car I realized that I accidentally got the Fat Free one . Needless to say, I went back in and got the Full fat Cappuccino and added whipped cream to it.

I think there are so many different hcg protocols available and you will find that some people do things differently. If splenda works for some, that's great! I was even told not to use the Walden Farms salad dressings, but I know that most of the ladies on here use it and still lose wonderfully. When I first started hhcg I didn't even know about this board and was lost, but I still managed to lose 32lbs. in 40 days so I did pretty good. All I had to go by was the booklet and information that came with my drops. I found these wonderful women here on lcf when I first started P3 and they were lifesavers. I don't know what I would have done without them because they were able to give me suggestions and options that I didn't even know were available to me. I wouldn't have been able to maintain during P3/P4 without them. Just remember that you're going to see different options on here about various things, you just have to find what works for you.

Yes Berta, I'm with you on that! I'm not a plain lettuce kinda gal. Have you looked into the OWL HCG program. It looks amazing! google it. It gives alot more wiggle room and a bit more calories and looks easier to stay on. I wanted to get real HCG and try it. I've always used homeopathic. I want to see the difference in my results. I am so excited for you, you will be amazed at your results!

Boy you are right about that! I have been reading different threads here like PH2&3 and this one and I get so confused as to what people are eating. Some are talking about 2000 calories they're eating and I'm like WHOA

But I am going to do the SHORT FORM I read on HCG here and stick to that until I get to PH3 then I will definiteley have a bunch more questions!

I am going to use the Splenda and Waldens but that is where I stop on PH2 if I don't feel I am losing fast enough I will drop them both!

Thanks have a great VLCD
What kind of HCG did you use?

Lady,

I chopped up my apples in little cubes with the skin, not too little I'd say maybe 1 inch or less chunks. I put in a glass bowl. I sprinkled some cinnamon on it and then a bit of splenda, not too much. I heated up about 1-2 mins at first and then maybe another 1-2 minutes til it was nice a soft and I could smell the cinnamon and apple scent. It got a little juicy not tons and I just savored my phase 2 mock apple pie with no crust or apple crisp. It was such a nice treat and change from my every day apple. YUM!

Yes, let's give each other great recipe ideas and tips. I did ph 2 chili the other day and it helped me get thru. It was better the next day when I had it for lunch.

Good Monday morning! I'm only down about 2 lbs from first LD weight. Is that the weight I use, or the highest loading weight??? I can't remember!

So far I'm on track and not hungry. Committed to 40 days or 34 pounds and plan to do one more round.

Be blessed!

I looked at my fat free dressing this morning. Instead, I had fresh baby spinach with a chicken breast drizzled in lemon juice and a little sea salt...DELICIOUS! And I'm so proud of myself for being ON protocol.
