Jeanette--Good going on the shower!!! I have a company picnic tomorrow and hope to do as well. They will be grilling out hamburgers and hot dogs so I plan on having a hamburger, but we employees are bringing all the other foods. I signed up to bring dessert and a watermelon. I don't know why I torture myself like I do LOL. But I am making some triple chocolate muffins and boy they smell heavenly!!!
I am sure you will continue to go down on these last few VLCDs. Yeah to a great ending to your round!! |

We need a like button like facebook. Love it Dawn, and hang in there! Triple chocolate smell would really be tempting. It doesn't seem that torturous to see the food, but sometimes the smells are hard! The pizza wasn't tempting at all since I learned how to make Jamie's chicken/cheese crust from Your Lighter Side. Even hubby PREFERS it to regular pizza!

I never thought I would say this but Im having a very hard time loading and its only the first day. I just can't do it. The thought of eating another bite has me sick to my stomach. I know that proper loading is needed for a better P2. I hope tomorrow is better.
Do you think it could be the natural calm I just started to take? Btw this stuff is great to keep things moving along. I wish I knew about it ages ago. Today I had I chicken sandwich on sour dough bread and fries with 2scoops of ice cream and whipped cream. 4cups of tea with hwc. Grilled chicken with melted cheese and green beans. Maybe I should try to load for 3 days if I can't eat more tomorrow? |

Hi everyone! I am down zero today. I had some snacks after church services today, but tried to stick to some baked chicken and I skipped lunch to compensate.
All in all, I had a GREAT day!! I saw some folks I hadn't seen in a long time and they had heard how much weight I have lost and were VERY complimentary!! It made my day!! ![]() I know some days are harder than others, but today was one of those days that reminded me how far I have come and how amazing it is to feel like I have my life back!!! ![]() ![]() |

Hi All!!
Everyone is doing great!! I STS this morning, so hopefully tomorrow will show a loss. I have decided not to end this round tomorrow and go on at least another week. I just have too much weight to lose to do short rounds. I'll decide next week if I want to keep going or end there. My hunger is better and I'm feeling fine, besides missing fats of course ![]() Have a GREAT evening all!! Cindy T |

Good morning ladies, so the turkey did not effect me I had a loss of 1.4
I was struggling with some big time cravings last night though..not sure what the problem was..it was for chips and junk of course, but I pushed through it and it passed, I went to bed. |

VLCD 14 for me, down 1.6 pounds this morning - that put me in a new decade!! Looks like my goal for this short round is definitely in reach now, and I have another week to go
I almost didn't weigh this morning because we went out to eat last night and I had a few chips at the Mexican restaurant. But I also worked in the yard for about 3 hours yesterday, so I guess it all balanced out. The place we went to has a "steak diet plate" that has 4 oz fajita steak with a lettuce and tomato salad. It's perfect!! It was nice to go out to eat for the first time in 2 weeks, plus we ran into a couple that we have know for a long time and had a great visit with them. More relaxing day today, perhaps taking the dogs to the dog park to play. Maybe cleaning carpets this evening. I hope you all have a wonderful Sunday!

Great Job Jeanette, your results for this round are fantastic. Good luck with maintaining for the next three months.
Kimmie and Jennifer, congrats on the great losses today. Jennifer, that restaurant sounds great. About all I have found around here is ordering a grilled chicken or fajita chicken salad without dressing. I am down another pound again today. I sure am enjoying this weeks losses, and onderland is right around the corner. So, VLCD18, -1 losses so far this round of 14.8 and today's weight 201.6. I am trying not to project my weight losses forward and set goals/expectations, but it is hard sometimes. I try to take it just one day at a time, at least for most of the day I have a challenging family function today, a birthday lunch celebration at PeiWei. Not much on the menu, but I think I can order a salad minus dressing and a few other things and not be too far off track (except for the vegetable combining thing). Their nutrition info show the salad as is w/o dressing at right around 200 cals, so not too bad. Have a great Sunday everyone.

for you. Nice job on staying on track. You've done a fantastic job. How do you feel about P3? Did you exercise during any of your rounds?Ive always wondered why some rounds are just easier and have better results than others so I'm going to finish my loading today as I was able to eat a biscuit with butter for breakfast. I think it was because I didn't take the pellets until after I ate that i was able to eat. As long as I take all 3doses I should be ok. Have a great Sunday everyone and thanks for holding me accountable for my actions. ![]() |

Berta- you are doing fantastic!!
I bounced up 1/2lb today. I was feeling so "over" this, but I think I was having a "moment" and am feeling a bit better now. I have lowered my dose (hcg compounded cream) to twice a day, but forgot my dose last night, so I'm sure that is contributing to my struggle this morning. I think I may have my dose a bit low now, so I'm thinking I'll try to do the 2 doses one day and 3 the next to try to get the right balance. This round (#2) has been so challenging, but I'm proud I haven't given in and cheated. I will work this out!! Hopefully I'll find the "sweet spot" and be able to just cruise through to day 40![]() I need to get busy working (I work at home) Cindy T

OH well Dr. S knew what he was talking about and I am no Dr.I have been wondering a person would loose on 500 cal a day with or without the HCG.SO why do we stop taking it in PH3 if in fact it is the HCG that helps us loose Do you know? That is so nice you can work from home ![]() OH and that 1/2 lb will probably be gone tomorrow!Hang in there ![]() Last edited by Berta48; 04-29-2012 at 12:13 PM.. |

Berta- it's my understanding that while on HCG/HHCG you gain very quickly on higher calories/fats. Thats why we have to do the 2/3 days of vlcd's after stopping hcg, so it gets out of our systems before we start P3 foods.
As far as why can't we just any 500 calorie diet, take hcg/hhcg and still lose, I can't answer that except to say the DR researched the whole thing many years ago and this is the plan he came up with ![]() Well, I work full time selling clothes on Ebay. I've been doing it for over 2 years now. I have a converted garage in my backyard that I use as an office. It has a main room, a closet, and inventory room and a bathroom, so it's pretty comfortable. Much better than when I first began and my office/inventory room was my formal living room ![]() For P2 it's great because I do come out here every morning for work, so I'm out of the house (kitchen), but I go in for lunch or to refill my water/tea/coffee, so no need to pack food. I do bring my apple out with me after lunch to eat around 2:30 most days. Enjoy your day and again, I'm just thrilled for you!! Cindy T |

Hi Ladies and Partners in our journey,
Today is my 2nd day of vlcd with no HCG drops. I recalculated and realized that to be ready for our trip to Israel, I had to start phase 3 now and stabilize for 3 weeks so I could get to phase 4 prior done prior to my trip. We were away at our family's cabin for 2 days so I was pretty busy and distracted. It was a work weekend however I feel very sick and like I caught either a sinus infection or something. I woke in the middle of the night with a waterfall in my nose and tonight upon arriving home my glands are sore, I feel very achey in my sinus area. Oh well, I'm not giving up. I took my weight scale, but I was with too many others to strip down and weigh myself right after getting out of bed. I should have done it in the bathroom, duhhhh. Now I realize. oh well. I will weigh tomorrow. I was very strict with my eating while others feasted on unmentionables. Tomorrow morning I start on phase 3. But I'm pretty confused what to eat. JUDD? Fat Fast. Help ladies!!! I will weigh in tomorrow. No use this evening. I am saving part of an egg and sausage casserole from the weekend for tomorrow. NO SUGARS. NO CARBS. planning on staying around 1200 calories. I hate counting calories. I'm not good at guestimating (is that a word?) I want to go to bed early I'm feeling really sick. I want to write down everything I eat. so at least there's accountability. 4/8 Load #1 177.2 4/9 Load #2 180 = +2 4/10 vlcd #1 179.6 = - .4 4/11 vlcd #2 175.8 = - 3.8 4/13 vlcd #3 173.4 = - 2.4 4/14 vlcd #4 170.6 = - 2.8 4/15 vlcd #5 170 = - .6 4/16 vlcd #6 170 = 0 4/17 vlcd #7 169.8 = - .2 4/18 vlcd #8 169.2 = - .6 4/19 vlcd #9 168.4 = - .8 4/20 vlcd #10 168 = - .4 4/21 vlcd #11 168.2 = + .2 4/22 vlcd #12 167.2 = - 1 4/23 vlcd #13 166.8 = - .4 4/24 vlcd #14 166.2 = - .6 4/25 vlcd #16 167.2 = + 1 4/26 vlcd #17 166.2 = - 1 4/27 vlcd #18 166.8 = + .6 Last edited by adelinesdream; 04-29-2012 at 02:24 PM.. |

Hi Everyone!
I used to use these boards several years ago when I was doing Atkins. I am about to start the HCG diet, so I was glad to see that there is an HCG board here! I ordered the Intermountain HCG Pellets and I'm hoping they come tomorrow. If they do, tomorrow will be my first load day. Berta, I noticed on another thread that you are using this brand. Sounds like they are working well for you. I know you were super hungry on your first day of VLCD. Has that gotten better now that you've been doing it a few days, or is it the same?

The only rules are the ones I listed. There is no calorie restriction or what type of meat to eat in Pounds and Inches.

Some will caution not to eat too little calories in P3, while others will say not to eat too much. But there is no written rule in Pounds and Inches as to how many calories in P3. OR what type of meat there is to be eaten. Remember that if you are diabetic, the excess meat you eat, if you eat too much, will turn to glucose thereby raising blood sugars. A good rule of thumb, if you are unsure of how much to eat, is double your portion sizes of what you ate in P2. |
