I'm sure it's been done to death, but...P3 interrupt?

have any of you done a two-week P3 interrupt? did you go back to P2 for another full 3 weeks? how did you find your losses and subsequent maintenance? or have you ever done two P3 interrupts in the same round?

I'm seriously considering going back to P2, but I don't want to do another full 3 weeks. arrrgh, I had my next two rounds all planned out for may and august, but I'm getting impatient to get a little more off! I want to be comfortably under 200 lbs before I go through to P4.

clear as mud? hahaha! I should be in bed, but got myself thinking, and yeah, here I am!

advice/anecdotes appreciated. and alliteration? awesome.

If you think you could hack it, go back to P2. I was totally "done" w. it and knew I couldnt' stick to it if I went back. Enjoying my long break, or maintenance, whichever you prefer .

Many have done interruptions. Takes a bit to start losing again, if I recall, but they do lose. I wouldn't do 3 full weeks though. I would think 2ish woud ok. Good luck to you!!

If you eat very strict phase 3 you might do ok with this type of cycling. Dr. S tells us that 21 days is the minimum so many think it is really wise after a PI to do a full 21 days just to make sure that your hypo is re-set.

I have done 2 PI's in a round.. my last round... and I did not stabilize well.. BUT the last 21 days of my round I could NOT get back into the strict VLCD and cheated constantly... coveting my Phase 3 foods..

I ended up ending that round did 3 weeks of phase 3 and 1 1/2 weeks of phase 4, I'm back on phase 2 now and doing really well on the VLCD. :-) I did load for 2 days but I did NOT gorge. I ate primarily fat & protein and some chocolate and only gained 2.6 pounds.

I have seen folks cycle by doing 3 full weeks of phase 3, then loading 2 days and back into a round. Some are successful.. some are not. I think the success lies in how strict you are with your phase 3 eating as well as how strict you are on the VLCD... those that fudge here or there tend to have MANY struggles with stabilizing.

yeah, I think I'll just do a CD or a correction day and try to work with that. I don't know if I can go back to P2 just yet.
