Stay blessed!
No problem-glad it helped Thanks!

Theresa-hope you do well tomorrow!! You're probably actually looking forward to a VLC day!!

Luv-hope the reset works for you. I can't manage morning meals, esp. BA ones, right after waking Coffee/hwc/AZ is my morning food!!

Tonya-thanks. I am definitely relaxing a bit w. my food choices. I'm not recording everything in ****** and I'm not avoiding any foods. I am really enjoying it. You so don't deserve that silly bump up!! Pizza, chips etc that woudl have been worth it. Sick? Really? That's worse than exercise gain!! So glad you're coming back down and hope you can really experiment w. your foods and stay nice and low. You're my "guinea pig" of lowered goal weights.

Did my GYCD today, and I'm hungry at 9:20pm. I had 4 servings + strawberries . I also did my 2nd "run" for the week. I hope they're not counter productive!! We'll see!! I sure woudl like to eat next week!! I'm hungry!!

Julie- Hope that GY day yields big losses! Yes, so not fair to jump up so much from being sick!

Morning Ladies! I'm down 1.2 today, haven't changed anything, back to 119.4 and doing the happy dance. Remember this if you get sick! I jumped from my 118-119 comfort range to 122 just from a cold, but the last 4 days I've dropped .4, .4, .6, 1.2, and just slid right back down without a CD! Just goes to show, sometimes we can't control the body!

Hope you ladies have an awesome day!

ugh. I'm up 1 and it's a steak day. yaaaaaaaaaaaaay. So here we go again on the yoyo rollercoaster. Getting sick of this. Hopefully today I will be closer than ever to liw. It's taken me two weeks so far. Tomorrow I will try to only eat protein and see how that goes. I hope that pork is on sale, lol.

Stress seems to be a factor here. I think this is what might be triggering the yoyo. From now on I declare losses.... and stabilization and all good things will happen. Bring the good.

I hate the stuffed feeling! Hope you did it right today, good luck tomorrow on your VLCD1. I look forward to watching you lose!

Drew- Good luck tomorrow on VLCD1, hoping you
get to goal this round!

Julie- Yes I went up +1, +1, + 3!!! Hadn't changed anything foodwise, but got a pretty nasty cold. Did a vit c flush and that's when I got the +3. Sucks b/c I was then too afraid to start P4, but it's coming back down slowly, thankfully!
You know, sometimes we just have to eat, especially under the stress you have right now!
But your right back on plan and didn't let the stress take hold of your weight! Be proud of that!
Hope you enjoyed your GY day, and it puts you nicely in you window!

Have a good night ladies!
Tonya
HAHA! I can't believe i was upset about not gaining more! But i made up for it yesterday! Was up to 274.4 WOOHOO!
I am so glad you are back down to your comfort zone! Below 120 THAT has got to be totally awesome!

You are so amazing with the running! I know I want to get back to it...but can't seem to take that first "step" ....baby steps! I hope the GY day treated you well! and i am totally looking forward to vlc today...i only am missing my butter coffee! lol i will survive though...and be in smaller clothes in no time!
Good Morning all!!!! I started vlc#1 R2 today...already missing my super duty heavy butter coffee and HWC but oh well! I still have a sore belly from the past two days...and thought I was going to throw up this morning...not sure if it is cramps, the hhcg or still being blown up from two days of junk food my body wasn't ready for...even the extra fat i was adding in at every turn!

I was up to 274.4....pre-load was 266.8 SO, let the losing begin!

Yall have a super terrific day and I will still be lurking here...drooling over your yummy fat full foods!

Good morning ladies! I'm on day four of P3 now and thought I should check in. Despite two days of crazy calories for refeeding and then busyness/stress, I am still within my window! I have a window of 166-170 and was fully expecting to be above it today, but was 169.0 on the dot, just one pound above LDW. Yay!

I'm doing intermittent fasting each day to help control calories and fix some of my hormone wonkiness, and daily TTap exercise. Both have helped offset my eating immensely and been very helpful. My weight is still up two pounds from what it was when I began P3 so I am controlling my eating better and going to slip it back down a smidge, but so far, so good. I hope it persists

Natasha- for being in window!!

Theresa-can't wait to watch you shrink!! Go! The running isn't so bad. It's all mental and I'm enjoying it so far. The "I can't make it" becomes "just a little further, you can do it". The program is geared for couch potatoes and works well for me! (thus far ).

Tonya-thanks! So glad you're back down. Be well!!

My GYCD netted a 2.2lb loss. Ok, I'll take it. Was hoping for more b/c I was so hungry, but I'm back in window. Trying a high fat day today. Avocado in my scrambled egg w/ cheese this am, CO in my coffee/hwc. Planning tuna salad for lunch and ??? for dinner? We'll see. Not eating out, not eating out, not eating out... Need to be back to LDWish soon. I miss it .

I've procrastinated long enough. Must finish cleaning out playroom and laundry room. 2 weeks till we vaca, then move!! then

Enjoy JUDDD! I do intermittent fasting now and think it compliments the hCG losses marvelously. Were you planning on doing the JUDDD instead of hCG, or using it when maintaining?

Either way, I hope it helps!

Julie, that is a bummer you didn't net a bigger loss, but it is still very respectable! Enjoy the high fat correction day, those are among my favorites!

you have to come back every now and again! You will be missed!!! Good luck on the juddd though!! I hope it works amazing for you!!!

Ok for some of you seasoned hhcg pellet people (Julie )
I know the hcg is on the outside...but i keep getting them stuck in the lid when i try to take them and have to use my nail to get them to budge...or they pop out when i am dispensing them...and they fall in my lap or the floor...WHAT am i doing wrong! lol there has got to be an easier way!!! I'm gonna have a hard time keeping them away from my cell!
Also, i've been a lil hungry...just a bit...can't remember if i went through this or not in the beginning of round 1? I don't want to touch the grissini or my second fruit tonight...wednesdays are the worst since i'm at school late!

Hope everyone had a great day!!!

WOE: one day at a time!! LC!
Start Date: July 14, 2003 - every day!!
Theresa- I just turned the bottle slightly horizontal and gently tapped the side of the bottle so some go into the lid. Then I gently tap the lid, so that any more than 3 pellets go back into the bottle. Leaving 3 in the lid. Then dump those 3 in my hand. Does that make sense? Your bottle is likely quite full right now, so you won't need to turn the bottle much to get out 3 pellets. By the end I was a pro - tap, tap, 3 pellets - in they went! I failed to screw the lid on completely once while driving (tapping while driving even!!) and they spilled all over my purse!! I emptied everything and dumped the pellets right from my purse into my bottle. Finished just fine. And the hunger was bad for me the first 2 days this past round. hope you finish your day well!! And you're right. I need to stop stressing about this move. If it's not done when we leave for vaca, it'll be here when I get home!! It will get done. But it won't be pretty!!

Arctic-good to see you. Glad JUDDD/IF is working well for you. Are you losing or maintaining?

Natasha-good luck with JUDDD. Pop over sometime w. an update please!!

High fat going well. Not really hungry, but want to eat. Remniscent of hcg days!! Waiting for dinner w/ water now. Did have a peice of smoked gouda . Off to find a recipe for pizza sauce. thinking just tomatoe sauce (or paste + water) and seasonings for now. We'll see what else I can find.

Lara- Sorry your up AGAIN! So proud of you for hanging in there and continuing the fight girl! Hope your body gets the clue soon! Enjoy your steak!

Theresa- Wow! You obviously loaded well! I gained 9 lbs 1st round, gone in 2 days! You'll be in new territory in no time! I loved the pellets, better than the drops. I tapped mine into the lid also. Somewhere on one of these threads they were talking about it being easier to get them out of the lid if you take the little plastic insert out. I think Shelby tapped hers into a spoon. They say your not supposed to touch them, who knows? I always poured them from the lid into my mouth.
HTH

Taryl- Welcome to the thread! Your doing great so far!

Natasha- Glad your still in your window! Good luck with JUDD. Please let us know how it goes, many of us are curious about it.

Julie- 2.2 loss! Can't complain about that, your doing great! Oh, how I long for 1 day where I don't feel the need to track every single bite!
I may be your "guinea pig", but I watching and learning from you! Hope I'm following in your P4 footsteps soon! I'm glad your vacation is almost here, as busy as you have been lately, you deserve it!

Busy day for me but wanted to see how everybody's doing. Have a good evening ladies!
Hope the scales are good in the morning!

Julie - I'm still losing in general, as we decided that if I don't get pregnant during this P3/P4 break then I'll do another round of hCG. I'm doing the IF as a way of being more comfortable with maintenance calories and to curb overeating. I am actually finding I really enjoy it, I have a lot of focused energy right before I get to breaking my fast and get a ton done before I have lunch.

JUDDD isn't right for me, but 16-20 hour daily fasts are actually really nice and it makes it so much easier for me to control my calories. I don't even know why, but it has been quite a revelation in terms of how I feel. I may even try to lose weight this way down the road, if I am am nursing and can't do hCG. For some reason I am less tempted by food when I have the kitchen marked as completely off limits for most of the day and then freely open for a window. *shrug*

I'm following the Leangains/Eat Stop Eat approach, more than JUDDD which I doubt my ability to stick with.

Taryl - Love your profile pic! I hope JUDDD is right for me! I am looking for something I can live with forever to keep the weight off!

Morning! 1 lb above LDW so still in my window! I think that may go OUT THE WINDOW Friday night as I may have a small margarita. Then I'll be having carbs at a seafood place Saturday evening but it will be my first UD on JUDDD so I'm sure the scale will start bouncing UP! I also plan on starting my workout routine Monday after work. I need to get firmed up for my beach trip!

Have a great day ladies!

Sorry for the fly by! Yesterday was VLCD#1 for round two....lost a WHOPPING .4 grrrrrr! I'm hoping that it is better tomorrow. I was sad and cried a LOT yesterday between telling my principal i was leaving, the school found out today, though most knew already...tell 2 ppl next thing you know EVERYONE knows! So, maybe stress, over doing the load and tears kept it up? I still have a headache, been taking zyrtec in hopes it is just allergies!
I'll catch up at lunch...which i can't WAIT! I'm actually hungry today! is it in my head...since i switched from rx to hhcg?

I'm sorry it was so hard for you to say goodby to your school ;
As for the low loss --stress and lack of sleep does that to me too!! Let's hope for a better loss for you tomorrow

My pallets came Tuesday from netrition --did you notice that they are of different sizes? Some are a little bigger than others!!

I am loading tomorrow (a few more hours to go -YES!!!). Hopefully next week I will start reporting losses Time to make that stubborn scale of mine budge

Have a wonderful day ladies!

Lara- Woo Hoo!!! Your still working it! Are you back in your window yet? Sure hope so, and if not, praying it's soon!

Theresa- So sorry you had such a tough day yesterday! I'm sure it's bitter-sweet to be moving, leaving your 'kiddos' & work friends behind. You have so much to be looking forward to! We know stress & tears can hurt the weigh-in. I'm sure you gonna have a great loss tomorrow! I always had a headache on hhcg for the first 2-3 days, OTC meds always helped and I took them through out both rounds, when needed. I think you may have head hunger, I know I did the first 3 days or so until I got into the groove, and started seeing good losses, then it went away and I wasn't hungry the rest of the round. Round 2 was much harder with the head hunger but it was a breeze starting about day 5. Hope today was better for you!

hhch lowcarb- glad your pellets came! They are different in size, that's ok b/c the hhcg is the coating on the outside. Remember not to touch them, don't set them by electronics, don't eat or drink 15 min's before or after taking them. They take forever to dissolve but I usually held them in my mouth about 5 mins, swallowed them, then started my 15 min's. Be sure you take them both days of loading! Good luck on your round and enjoy your food the next 2 days!

Have a good night ladies!

Hi, well I'm the same as I was yesterday which is good. I'm 3lbs from the top of my window still. I'm going to attempt to do a steak day today but I've been extremely stressed from work so I dont know if I can get thru it. At least I will have a steak day until I get off work cause I have nothing to eat except almonds here. Soory I cant read all postings I cant spend too much time here, and I miss that.

Yesterday I had yogurt and berries coffee with cream splenda toriani syrup a salad with egg feta tomato onion olives dinner was pork and salad... three sugar free chocolate covered almonds from See's candies and a couple of diamond salted almonds.

Heres the thing, I've been eating salads for the last two weeks and when I make dressing its been olive oil vinegar lemon garlic mint and a scoop of hidden valley ranch powder.. which has 2 g of sugar in it. could I have been doing this to myself??? my mom actually pointed it out, i didnt eat any yesterday and I didnt gain. Why is sugar from berries okay but not refined sugar??
I know tmi but I had diarrhea all day yesterday too so that could be why I didnt gain. dunno. Whats the opposite for the code name Bernice?/ lol

I think that I will have to sequester myself again. I will make a deal with myself... if I loose at least 3 lbs from todays steak day, then I will set myself free saturday morning. lol.

I'm getting sick of steak and its very expensive. Booo.

Theresa- *****!!!!!!! What is going on???? I'm so sorry, how could you stay the same? Don't let this get you down! Your body has to get with the program soon, it has no choice with this plan. Have you checked into P2 b/c? Please do and get their opinion on why this is happening. Work the plan, it'll work for you. Sending BIG HUGS!

Lara- I hope your back down the last 3 tomorrow.
Funny you didn't gain when you didn't use the hidden valley ranch. I used that my 1st P3 and could not stabilize, just kept gaining. I miss dressing & mayo more than anything else, just want a salad with anything but hot sauce & sour cream! I tried kraft mayo twice, gained each time, and haven't found a recipe that I liked (made 3 and threw them all out). Need mayo to make ranch! I hope your onto something, and can finally get back down to where you need to be!

Natasha- How exciting to start tomorrow! Please check in and let us know how it goes! Best of luck!!!!

I'm up .6 today, 119 even! Expected that after 5 days of losses in a row. Exactly where I want to be, and appreciate that my body seems to be working in a way that it never has, thank you body! It's P3D33, and I WILL transition to P4 this weekend. Don't really even want to, but afraid if I don't, I'll be too sensitive to carbs. I wonder if my 1st P4 addition can be sugar, in the form of ranch or mayo???

Have a great day ladies, it's Friday!!!

Very interesting about the Hidden Valley Ranch... I DID gain weight using it!!!! And it was just the mix not the premade ranch dressing....for the last three weeks up and down and thats got to be why!!!!
OMG lol...!!!!!
so, last night I used olive oil and red wine vinegar and it was just as yummy. No more ranch mix, wah. I can use best foods mayo and it doesnt affect me at all. Maybe we should make our own mayo huh!

I will jump for joy if I loose this last three tomorrow morning. I cant wait to go to sleep tonight lol. Gosh thats pathetic, heehee. No wait... I will loose at least 3 lbs darn it!!!

Should I do an all meat CD like beef chicken pork or should I stick with my steak day? See I'm already trying to talk myself out of it, lol. Steak day I hate you. and I love you. All hail to the steak Gods.

Hey there guys! Here is a recipe for homemade ranch from the pioneer woman...
Ingredients

1 clove (to 2 Cloves) Garlic
Salt To Taste
1/4 cup Italian Flat-leaf Parsley
2 Tablespoons Fresh Chives
1 cup (Real) Mayonnaise
1/2 cup Sour Cream
Buttermilk (as Needed To Desired Consistency)
White Vinegar (optional, To Taste)
Worcestershire Sauce, To Taste (optional)
Fresh Dill (optional, To Taste)
Cayenne Pepper (optional, To Taste)
Paprika (optional, To Taste)
Fresh Oregano (optional, To Taste)
Tabasco (optional, To Taste)

Preparation Instructions

Mince the garlic with a knife and then sprinkle about an 1/8 to ¼ teaspoons of salt on it and mash it into a paste with a fork. Chop the parsley, chives and any of the optional herbs very finely and add to the garlic.

In a bowl combine all ingredients, adding other optional ingredients as you wish, tasting frequently and adjusting seasonings as needed. Chill for a couple of hours before serving, thin with milk or buttermilk if desired.

You would just need to sub some of the ingredients for more LC stuff (hwc, sour cream, etc) and watch the worcestershire and tobasco I THINK both have sugar!
If you can find DUKES mayo....it is sugar free and so yummy....or make your own mayo!!! It's just eggs and oil emulsified together!

Ugh.....my Dr. closed at noon or I would have gone to get the rX hcg....I have to give it through the weekend...so HOPEFULLY my body will figure it NOW is not the time to stabilize! lol...watch me stabilize like a ROCK! 6 weeks LATE!
I had nothing off plan the first day...last night i did have some walden farms chocolate sauce on my berries and one tbs of the caramel...i love the stuff! I had 2 tbs in my coffee this morning...holy moley it is like a caramel mocha at that point! Almost too rich...reminded me of my butter coffee!

I Just want to drop..... and I don't want to take a water pill...then i won't know if it is the water pill or the hhcg? I think i will take a detox bath tonight after dinner...see where that puts me and have celery and fish tonight for dinner. Had shrimp and cabbage slaw for lunch (WAY too much cumin and red pepper in it....my mouth was on FIRE!!!)

I'm chugging water and green tea like it is my job. I thought for sure as much as i was teeteeing yesterday (can you tell i teach elementary?!? ) I was gonna see a loss! WHAT gives!!!!!! GRRRRR

Ok, hope everyone has a super duper friday! woohoo! Less than 35 more days of school!

Oh, how i would love (swoon) to do a gycd or a steak day.....

Wow yeah, my homemade ranch is way better than the store bought, as is the cilantro lime and chipotle dressings I like. Vinaigrettes are super easy with stevia, too.

Try the pioneer woman recipe with homemade mayo, make sure to let it sit in the fridge for a few hours before using. Delish!

As for me, I'm right where I want to be at 168.4 today, despite restaurant food last night. Just .4 above LDW and inside my window by a good margin. Still working out five days a week (LOVE it. I can see a difference in my torso already, even with no weight change), and the fasting is going very well, too. This is the week of my period when I am usually up a few pounds, so I am either seeing no bloat on the scale or am actually lower than I think because the hormones are masking my non-TOM weight.

Either way, I'm a happy girl

My recipe, FYI, is a little simpler:

1/2 cup Sour Cream
1 cup mayo
Vinegar/lemon juice or buttermilk to thin to desired consistency
1 tbsp dried parsley
1 tsp each dill and chives
1/4 tsp each onion powder, garlic powder, salt
Pepper optional, paprika optional. 1 drop stevia recommended, if you didn't add any to the homemade mayo (I always do!)

Mix, let set in the fridge, yummy time.

WOE: one day at a time!! LC!
Start Date: July 14, 2003 - every day!!
Theresa- Really? I can't believe it!! Hope it's a whacky fluke and you're down 8lbs tomorrow!!

Lara-I'm right there w. you gril!! Having a steak day today.

I've been at the top of my range lately, LDW+2 exactly the last 2 days, +1.6 the day before. I want to be back to LDW, or maybe even below. I was there before, but with my transition and enjoyment of P4, I have been consistenly above LDW and occasionally out of my window. So, I went to Costco and got those ribeyes Lara recommended. Grilled 1 for lunch - . No tomatoes though. Will this hurt? I hope not!! I'm marinating others for the fam for dinner, and will likely have a bit more if I'm still hungry later. I've done as well (actually better) on the steak CD's where I has 2.

I've been doing well w/ the running. I even added 1 extra jogging minute last night to see if I coudl do it!! And I did, survived and even felt good!! that's serious progress for me!! I have never been a "runner", nor will I ever be, but maybe I will be able to run 3 miles and not HATE it. We'll see. The scale isn't up anymore from it, but maybe it's actually part of why I'm above LDW? Who knows. Feel great, love the idea of being back to LDW tomorrow. I sure hope so!!

Taryl-thanks for the recipe. I may give that a whirl.

Hhcg-hope you have a great round!! The pellets are various sizes, but they'll average out fine.

Tonya-ooh!! welcome to the dark side P4!! I'm loving it!! So glad you're settled in where you want to be. A great place to dabble. I think my body has handled the sugars better than the starches. Overall, I've been quite pleased w/ it so far. Hope you find it fun too!!

Got my hair done today!! Brazillian blowout - love it!!
