well, down 0.6 pounds this morning, that's better. VLCD 7 for me, one-third of the way thru this round. For some reason, yesterday was a rough day. I worked 10 hours, and my back was hurting for much of it. And I was unusually hungry yesterday, but I stayed on protocol. After dinner, I was much better. This morning, I'm fine, and hoping my back won't be so mean to me today.

Yes, if you read the ingredient list you will see magnesium listed. It really will not only help the bowels but it will help you to rest more peacefully.

Off to soccer, have a great day everyone!
Aren't you just getting over TOM Dawn?? That can cause little bumps on the scale too. I always gain, usually at the begining but sometimes at the end too.

As for SF Jello. I'm personally NOT a fan. BUT according to protocol it is one of those "occasional" foods that could be allowed. There is a section in P & I where Dr. S talks about foods that are low/0 calorie foods that can be used "occasionally". Some folks find that depending on the sweetener used it can stir up cravings... that is NOT fun. You'd just have to see how you do with it.

I have been listening to DrOZ videos on HCG there was 5 parts. NOW I am concerned. I have had a complete Hysterectomy and on estrogen. I am wondering if this will hurt me in any way since it is hormones? He also said unless you get it from your Dr. and that is a prescription drug and the ones sold in stores and online do not have the HCG hormones inthem! How in the wrold are we ever suppose to know what is right and what to do?

I want to lose weight but not at the expense of my life! Also since I have Diabetes2 I am already losing my hair.I may end up skinny and bald OR worse yet DEAD and BALD
Berta,
while Dr Oz is a doctor, he's also a member of the media now. He seemed to be pro-HCG at first, then backtracked and said it wasn't a good thing.

All I can tell you is that I have had a hysterectomy, only have one ovary, and it sputters. When I'm on HCG I have almost no hot flashes at night, I sleep better, and I feel better in general.

Bottom line is, you've done your research, made a decision, and you're ready. Keep on asking questions, but I would like to encourage you to read and re-read Pounds and Inches by Dr Simeons. All of the answers are in there. I really also recommend that you adhere strictly to his protocol for your first round in order to maximize your results. Best of luck to you!!

I am down .8 this morning so the scale is moving again.

Congrats to all who lost and hugs to everyone who stayed the same or gained a bit hang in there.

Hi guys! I would love to join you guys as I finally started. However...

I am on my first day of P2. I am a little confused because I weighed myself upon waking up. Then I weighed myself after I took my morning drops and 15 minutes later I had a few sips of water....I gained weight is this normal? Should I just only weigh myself in the morning? Sigh....
Phase 1(start weight) - 201.6
4/ 20-Load day 1 - 202.6
4/ 21-Load day 2 - 204.0
4/ 22-Phase 2 day 1 - 196 (first thing in the morning) / 202 (after taking morning drops and water 15 minutes later)

Thanks!

Good Morning ladies!
Thought I would check in and tell you terrific news. I was stalled the last few days at 152, morning weigh in today was 149!!!!!!!!
4# to goal! I am so excited! I started this journey at 178, kept most of the weight off after first round of a 20+ weight loss. Decided to do round 2 to get to goal of 145. For those of you considering HCG, well, as you can tell, I highly recommend it :-).
Gosh, I have not been under 150 in 30 some years!
I am doing the happy dance today :-)
Have a wonderful day!

Congrats to sticking through it!! It is worth it right?? You lost despite you being hungry and hurting. I hope your back stays better. I have back pain too from my job. It is getting better, but I am seeing a chiropractor to get relief.

This is getting confusing I keep seeing my name and think it is me. I am used to being the ONLY Dawn here. At least I can say I am the original I have been on this hcg forever
