![]() I was told by a few of the ladies on this thread Splenda is ok.I can not stand the aftertaste of Stevia. I have read on other sites that sell RXHCG that any sweetner is really ok that it doesn't hurt. ![]() Maybe someone else can help us out here I start Tuesday and want this fat off.![]() |

According to Dr. S Sacchrine is ok... and other 0 cal sweeteners. Stevia & splenda were not common in his day. Basically any 0 cal sweetener that you are comfortable with is ok. Some of us don't like the chemical ones (splenda & aspartame) and prefer the herb type (stevia). Many of us have trouble wit sugar alcohols like xylitol. Take into consideration that sugar alcohols do not react in the body like sugar but they do have a caloric value.
I don't recommend artificial sweeteners... but always assume that we are adults and make our decisions accordingly based on our own research, knowledge and health goals.

If Splenda is acceptable that's way cool since I have to choke my coffee down with Stevia every morning. I made it through R1 using Stevia and couldn't wait for my first day of maintenance so that I could finally have coffee with Splenda and hwc. I specifically remember asking someone and was told that I couldn't. Oh well, we live and learn.
Anyway, I hope my P2 buddies are all having a fantastic day. I'm officially on day 4 and haven't experienced any hunger yet. I guess I did a great job with the loading, huh. I just haven't had a bm since Monday, which sucks. I may try the Natural calm that Shirley suggested, I'm not too fond of the sm tea because it didn't work well during my last round.

Berta, I struggled with stevia for a while until I learned how to use it. I tried it with my lemon juice in cold water as a lemonade and it was yum. It's very strong so you need only do a few drops or 1/2 or less of the powder pkt. and start low and you can always add a tinge. I made some yummy p2 chili yesterday and it need something so I added a bit of lemon juice and some stevia, not much though, it's very concentrated and many times sweeter than sugar. Hope this helps.

Now when you open my fridge there is a basket on the top shelf which resembles a store shelf of STEVIA!! We love it now. Hubby & the kids are all used to it now and it is the sweetener of choice for our family. My littles still use some maple syrup and raw honey (from our bees), but even they will grab their favorite stevia to add to kefir or smoothies. Quote:

I agree with Dawn... you might find you do not need a full dose. But for the first time maybe using as the package suggests would be wise... especially since your plumbing is particularly clogged. ![]() |

Hello It's me AGAIN
![]() ![]() I am wondering about my deodorant. I love my deodorant it smells like baby powder. But it has castor oil in it so I guess that's out too? RIGHT or WRONG? Well tomorrow is my shopping day.Off to get ready for my load days. I am a bit concerned about it because I have been trying to loose since the first of the year and everything in our house is Reduced fat And I can not eat like I use to. I use to be able to eat two sandiwches fries and shake no problem! Now I am full after the sandwich. I really think my biggest concern is the load days not being able to eat enough. I am thinking I will buy some slim jims and eat them as a snack all trhroughout the two days, and while watchng TV at night. That should pack on some pounds ![]() ![]() I do know I will eat all I can choke down.![]() I haven't read anyone asking about Sugar free jello. When is that allowed? We love SF Jello.I'm thinking maybe PH3.

![]() ![]() How are you today? I certainly hope you are feeling better. Did you feel well enough to go to work? We are cooking on the grill tonight. So I am getting ready to go do that. I haven't been eating on my diet these last few days I have gained three pounds . I hope that doesn't hurt mywieght loss after load days.Do you think it will?Did you get my e-mail and if so did it work? If not I have another I can send. Did you see the post where I found the difference in RXHCG and HHCG? The difference they said is thr RXHCG doesn't come from a human? So wonder where it comes from? ![]() ![]() I've decided as long as it doesn't hurt me and will get this fat off I don't care ![]() |

I have lost my voice completely!! I can barely whisper and of course now is when everyone in the world is asking me questions!!! I did go in to work, but had to leave. My eldest son was in a car accident and I had to take care of that when his dad didn't want to. It has been a trying day to say the least. No one was hurt thank god, and just the fenders were bent but it still is unsettling to have that happen. Especially since he is a brand new driver.
I think you will be fine with the hcg. Got your email just fine. Thanks for sending me. I find that the load weight that I gain just before starting P2 comes off in the first 2 days of P2. I know it will come off quick for you too!!! I don't care where hcg comes from either---as long as the weight comes off somehow!!! Enjoy shopping!!!!!

![]() Hopefully the Insurance will take care of the damages. I am still going over in my head aboot the the plan. Is my last weigh day(LWD) the very first day BEFORE PH3 or is it the same day I stop taking the HCG? I know I stop taking it after the 40 days and wait 2 days before starting PH3 right? So where in that time frame do I consider my LWD? Last edited by Berta48; 04-20-2012 at 04:42 PM.. |

Berta, your LDW (last dose weight) is what you weigh the morning of the day you take your last dose. You still remain on the VLCD for 48-72 hours depending on what type of HCG you are taking. This usually gives you a little "cushion" of a couple of pounds. HTH

VLCD6, down only 0.2 this morning. But, I'm pretty sure I know why, I made soup last night that used Bragg's amines. They do have a high sodium content, so I'm probably retaining water this morning - so it should be gone tomorrow. Plus, yesterday was pretty stressful at work, so that didn't help either.
Working a long shift today, but my food is already packed, and I'll be sure to take my glass to drink plenty of water as well. Hope you all have a great Saturday |

Up 0.4 today, YUCK! Oh well, I just have to take my advice from yesterday, and keep on truckin. I am not letting it get me down, but it does bother me. Just another one of those signs about how fickle the scale is.
Off to soccer, have a great day everyone! |

I would suggest, that if you really really want to "add" something to you meals on P2 you pick something more healthy. Jello is yummy, but it doesn't have any nutrients in them, only calories. Since starting hHCG last June I have completely quit aspartame of any kind and it's my next goal to quit Spelnda as well eventually! It's so reassuring to have hear that others have gotten used to Stevia, it gives me hope. ![]() I am down 1.0 this morning!! ![]() ![]() I will be traveling with my father today, going to two different church areas, so I am making two meals of P2 Chili to try and cut down on me making any mistakes! I already warned my dad! My parents are SUPER supportive, so that helps a lot!! Hope everyone has a great day!! |

Dr Oz was the one who got the FDA to stop production of the homeopathic hcg. You will not find any Oz supporters here on this thread. If you read the old old threads from when we were just a thread on Other plans and not in our own section, we have had a cancer survivor post that her cancer doctor gave her his blessing to lose the weight this way. I would trust those that have done protocol rather than a doctor who didn't even do his research. Shame on him! He said his team could not find any studies that it worked. But I have a book that was based on research that it did!! So I am sure they did not look very hard!!! Anyway, if you are not comfortable in any way, then by all means do not start. I hate that you are having misgivings at this late stage---you did order hcg right? You need to stop googling and trust us right here. |
