I actually enjoyed my last load better... because I didn't stuff myself. I just ate lots of fat & protein... and that stupid Golden Corral . I HAVE stuffed myself to the point of sickness on other rounds and didn't like it that is why I didn't do it this time.. AND I had no hunger during my first days of VLCD other than right before meal times. SO... my theory is WHAT we chose to gorge on is more important that how MUCH we gorge on... but I could be wrong.

So I'm happy to say I'm much better today. I drank more water today. Made sure I ate around when I was supposed to. I was a little off today since I had alot to do. Wedding plans are so exhausting!! But Its so worth it!

My start date was the 13th and I weighed 217 after my loading.
Now I'm at 210.4

Hopefully I will have lost some today

I'm happy to have found people who are going through the same things Iam and able to help answer questions I have. I'm the only one in my friends/family doing this and its very hard. We all get together often to EAT and chat. Mainly eat tho. And I've got to change that. My Fiance is the same way. I'm hoping he will se the change in me and jump on the bandwagon so to speak. I'm hoping to lose just enough to look better in my pics for the wedding but after that, ITS ON! I would like to be back to my natural size of about 125. Maybe this will bethe thing to jumpstart my system and get myself under control. Luckily my guy is sensitive to my diet so we aren't going to over-do it on the honeymoon. I will have my "safe" foods with me and he will eat at least heathly while we are out and about so its not too hard on me. Thank goodness for sweet men! Anyways Ladies. Hope you all have a wonderful night and thanks for the support even tho you just met me. Good luck everyone!

I did it.I ordered the HHCG for Netrition and some Pellets since I will be doing this for someitme!!

Should be here in 2-3 days.Hope they are here by Sunday as that is when we go out to eat after church

I just read on Ph2&3 thread they were eating bacon and broccoli etc did I miss something??

Strawberries

Large Apple

So here is my question..It came to 450calories.I am suppose tohave 500 a day.What should I do increase my protein a bit?

You could increase your veggies or strawberries some...the goal is 500 cals. If you're following the P2 Protocol, somedays you will be under a tiny bit and some days you will be over a tiny bit.

I notice you don't have grissini or Melba toast listed. 2 Grissini breadsticks (gluten free) are 46 calories, so that would have you up to 496.

OK?

have you ever heard of "setting the captives free" website? It's a free website which I just started back on. It is Bible based and addresses many issues of why we eat as we do. Setting the Lord's Table is the section that's for eating issues. Lord's Table - Setting Captives Free
Today I weighed in at 169.2 down .6 lbs from yesterday. I'm on day 8 of vlcd. I'm not losing very fast at this point, but I'm thrilled to be going in the right direction. My main concern is that I address the root issues of my overeating so that I can have victory in phase 3 and 4.

Welcome BERTA! You are a great planner, and that will really help with P2! I always make an "emergency kit" to take with me during P2 because it can get crazy. I carry instant coffee, splenda/stevia, apple, grissini stick, and a True Lemon Raspberry Lemonade pack. This will help if you're stuck in traffic and are tempted to pull into a drive thru.

Glad you're felling better. Congratulations on your wedding, the planning stages were so stressful for me. You'll do fine with hcg, it's a great way to get a new start.

Wow, you're doing great! I hope that I'm able to have th steady losses like you without stalling. Send me some of those vibes, please!!!

As for me, this is VLCD #2 and I'm down 4.8 this morning . Now I just have another 2.2 to lose to get back down to where I was before loading. Let's pray that I lose it by tomorrow morning.
I have a Cardinals baseball game to go to this evening, so I'm really gonna struggle with the urge to have a hotdog, nachos and a beer. I know I can do it!!!

Been spotting for a couple of days, and I am pretty sure my cycle started for real this morning. VLCD7 and down another 0.2 for 7.2 total. I am sure TOM has something to do with the low number today. I was pretty hungry yesterday, much more than I have been. I even woke up hungry overnight. I am hoping it is related to TOM.
Today, I am going to the dentist, I have a tooth with a couple of hairline cracks it it. So, today I am getting a crown. Wish me luck, this is my first dental work more than a filling. I am a bit nervous, but not too bad.

Ohmygosh ladybates! My fiance would be soo jelous lol. All of my people are going to STL this weekend without me But hey, im ok with that. They are going tobe eating junk food and feeling bad while im working on getting healthy and feeling great! Hehe.

Woke up this morning and im down 2.8!!! Might have been the coffee and greens i had to get regular again. I feel much better and from the advice im picking up magnesium today so maybe that wont be a prob anymore.

So i had a lunch date yesterday with a friend And i was so proud that all i got was a salad! It was very small, not quite the 3.5 oz your supposed to have. It did have cucumbers and 2oz of chicken breast and tomatoes. All i was missing was the toast! I thought i might have messed up but obviously i didnt! Lol. Well ladies, hope you all have a fabulous day!

Hi Berta - I was reading through here and wanted to point out that you are allowed 3.5 ounces of protein, not 3. It's 100 grams which is 3.5 ounces. Don't want you to short-change yourself in the protein department!!! Best of luck to you........back to reading!!!!

I stayed the same I have been the same weight for 3 days now it would be great if I wanted to mantain at this weight, I think I will switch up my veggies today to see if that helps.

Yeah, fortunately my I get discounted tickets because of my job ($10). Baseball is one of my favorite sports so I try to go to the games as much as possible.

I thought the meat was to be 3.5 ounces raw? So it should be 5.5 raw as it looses 2ounces after cooking right? Anyway that is what I have always read.

Also I read the following on a RXHCG thread is this true?As I will be doing the 1st Round of PH2 42 days.Or is the RXHCG and the HHCG different plans? I didn't know you had to rest for 6 weeks before starting the HHCG again?

The 40 Day Diet Plan:

Day 1-2 - Gorging days with HCG

Day 3-40 - The 500 calorie diet begins with daily HCG

Day 41-43 - HCG stop and 1000 calorie diet continues

This plan is for individuals who need to lose 20 lbs or more. If you initially start on the 23 Day Diet Plan and find that you would like to continue, Day 24-26 is omitted and the HCG/ and 500 calorie diet continue until the sought after weight is reached. The maximum weight loss for the 40 Day Diet Plan is approx 34 pounds. Thereafter a 6 week rest before you can begin another Cycle.

Yes, the meat is to be 3.5 ounces raw not 5.5. We never weight the meat after it has been cooked, only before cooking it.
Yes, the protocol requires that you do maintenance for 6 weeks before starting a new round. This applies to all of the hcg types including hhcg and rhcg. I have heard of people cutting the maintenance period short, but it's not suggested.

I always weigh my meat after cooking it. If it was 3.5 before cooking it would only be 1.5 after.That can't be right you would starve to death eating that little of Protein???

I just need to absolutely certain as I will begin Monday!

Thanks for reminding me to pull this together! I've also found that I can carry a bag of "Bare Fruit AppleChips" 1/2 bag (35g portion) is one serving for me...easy to take on the road (or split into 2 ziploc bags....)

Don't know if you use the Walden Foods (WF) products, but I bought some of their pre-packaged italian salad dressing...(It's ok...enough to get through an emergency meal of salad/chicken breast out). I haven't tried the creamy versions they have...At home, I like the WF Sun Dried Tomato Italian dressing better...

And congats on your 60 lbs gone!!!

Hi Berta! If you are following Protocal, you definitely need to weigh your meat before you cook it.

P&I says, "Every item in the list is gone over carefully, continually stressing the point that no variations other than those listed may be introduced. All things not listed are forbidden, and the patient is assured that nothing permissible has been left out. The 100 grams of meat must he scrupulously weighed raw after all visible fat has been removed."

While taking HCG you shouldn't have any hunger (except for the first few days, maybe, although some people don't even have that). If you have problems with hunger, than your dosages might need work. I know it doesn't seem like a lot, but it works!!

According to pounds and inches you MUST weigh your meat at 3.5 ounces or 100 grams BEFORE cooking.. which means it will be MUCH smaller after. This protocol is on the verge of protein deficiency, thus the length of rounds is important.

For the 3 days of no hcg at the conclusion of the round you still maintain the VLCD... meaning only 500 calories.

Then for phase 3 you eat the calories your body needs according to your current weight, height, BMI.. for most it is well over 1500 calories unless you are a skinny mini.

Dr. S tells us that those who continue to try to "diet" will quickly re-gain weight. This is b/c your body will go into starvation mode.

I'm down .6 today, a bit more than my .2 yesterday. I did some damage with using CO on my skin, but I'm wiser now. any help for loose skin folks?

Adeline.. I think I posted it somewhere but maybe I didn't. Buy yourself a natural bristle brush, not plastic and dry skin brush your body 2-3 times a day. You will brush toward your heart. This stimulates the skin and helps it to shrink. Once you enter phase 3 you can use coconut oil after brushing. Do some googling on dry skin brushing and you should be able to find more info on it.

Great thanks everyone for this information I thought it was 3.5 after cooking it.

AND I thought it was 2 days of no HHCG if doing the HHCG and 3 days for
RX HGCG?
You don' take ANY HHCG during the PH3 or PH 4 right?

The clearing period for hhcg can be 48 hours.. I usually try for 72 and if I'm really hungry on the third day I just add in 1 extra lean protein serving and an extra serving of fruit & veggies. Then I eat my first phase 3 meal after the 72 hours.

Rx you MUST to 3 full days= 72 hours before eating phase 3 style.

You are correct. Once you chose your last dose day, you dose in the morning ONLY and take the weight of that day. That is your Last Dose Weight. You continue with the VLCD that day plus 1-2 more days. NO MORE HCG until you start the next round.

Start your first phase 3 day in the morning. That is why it is best to take your last dose in the morning only.. do not dose throughout the day, or your phase 3 would start at night and many find that they gain a LOT when their first phase 3 meal is at night. Having a full phase 3 day seems to be better than eating heavy at night for the first phase 3 meal.. hope that makes sense.

Did you see my post to Lady Bates? And the article that said 6weeks before starting on PH1 again? Is that right?
