I am still trying to decide how long I want to do P2. How long was your first round?
I am an emotional and STRESS eater.. BAD BAD BAD... the rounds of hcg I've done have helped TREMENDOUSLY... but I do not pretend to imagine that I have it under control yet.. I'm a work in progress!!

My first round was 57 days.. I shed 47 pounds and felt like a new person. I have a total love hate relationship with this protocol!!

Good morning my fellow P2'ers! I had a great weigh in! In fact, it's been a great round so far:

VLCD1 - 182.0
VLCD2 - 179.0
VLCD3 - 178.0
VLCD4 - 176.5
VLCD5 - 176.0
VLCD6 - 175.0
VLCD7 - 174.5
VLCD8 - 174.0

As of today, I've lost 60.5 pounds! So excited to hit the 60 pound mark! Woot! Woot!

Hope the scale is kind to all this morning.

Sending big hugs!

VLCD 2 for me. Load weight is gone, thank goodness. Really focusing on variety with my meals this time. This is a short 21 day round, we are going to the Indy 500 next month and I want to be in P4 by then. Then a long round this summer. I had done really well, lost over 50 pounds, but have regressed and gained almost half of it back by allowing old habits to come back. Not gonna go there again!!

WAHOOOOO to all you losers and those who STS... it is OK... the scale WILL move!!

As for me.... yep... could NOT stay of the scale. BUT I was thrilled to see 154.4. So the scale, she lives to see another weigh in . Total losses 10.6 in 13 days TOTALLY great, especially since I cheated 4 days in a ROW last week. So week one was 5 pounds loss, week 2 5.6 pounds loss. This weigh in has me even more determined to stick with my exercise and strict protocol following for the last of this round. I know I can hit the low 140s' and I will enter phase 3 with control so that I stabilize like a rock!!

Hubby misses his daily weighing at night & in the morning.. he is a statistic nut and loves to figure percentages... MEN! He is down 10.8 in the first WEEK!!! MEN!!! He really needed to see that this morning as he is struggling this round... hating the protocol!! I think it is because he is under a TREMENDOUS amount of stress at work and the VLCD just seems to be making him more stressed. He is ok with us not weighing again for another week and see's how much it helps me to not be obsessed with the scale. I'm so thankful he is walking with me through this journey!!

Have a super day everyone!!

Onward and downward! Understand about the regain. So easy to do! I keep telling myself I just gotta learn from it and go on.

Almost there. You've done so well. You can do it again!!

I'm the same - not surprised as I cheated and had some nuts yesterday. Not sweating it. My own doing and all that.

Was a little ticked at DH, hence the stress eating. Gotta stop that stuff!!

Ok so i had done amazing the first couple of days and lost 7 pounds bor today i weighed myself and im the same as yesterday. Now im thinking i know what i did wrong but to be sure i will explain and maybe someone can help me in case i did mess up.

I did great in the morning with my water and drops and snack. But after i had lunch things kinda went down from there. I have a ton to do to get ready for my wedding in 25 days ( omg. 25 days!), and i messed up my schedule. I first forgot my drops, then i didnt eat when i first got hungry, then once i did get home instead of sitting down and refueling i went and washed the car. I might have drank 40oz of water but i did have quite a bit of coffe so im thinking by working so hard yesterday having too much coffee and not enough water i messsed it up. And im taking fiber bit i cant seem to go to the bathroom. Im kinda concerned now since im very regular.

Ok my rant is over lol. Someone please help

Maybe the very, very lucky ones lose every single day but most of us do not. The scale can also bounce up a couple of ounces sometimes. Don't worry about that so much, it will make you crazy! Ask me how I know!

The best thing to do (IMO) is to average out your daily weight loss. What day of p2 are you on?

Most of us lose like gangbusters at the beginning then it slows way down to around 3 pounds a week... consider your average. Women tend to average about .5 loss a day over time. So you most likely didn't do ANYTHING.. BUT stress can cause fluctuations in the loss rate as well as not getting in enough water to flush out the fat.

Missing drops now and again really won't matter as hcg stays in your system for 48-72 hours. Hang in there and I hope your final 25 days will be fabulous and your wedding a dream come true!! AND make sure you give yourself enough transition days so you don't gain back all you've lost over your honeymoon.

Good morning lovely ladies. Yesterday I took DD to the ER because she has been having excruciating back pains to the point of tears. The dr seems to think that she's growing too fast and her back muscles haven't had time to catch up. She has to see a physical therapist for a couple of weeks. Thanks for all of your prayers.

OK, so I'm trying to start VLCD1 again today. I gained another pound yesterday so now I have a total of 7 lbs. of "load weight" to get rid of, in addition to the 15 lbs. that I wanted to lose on this round. Oh well, here goes nothing. I just don't want to go a full 40 days, I'm hoping to do this in the least amount of time. Well, I've already had my 2 cups of coffee this morning with my Hazelnut stevia. About to take my drops in 15 minutes and start chugging that water.

I hope you all have a great day. I'll be checking in with you ladies later.

WOW Shirleychef, that was a long round 1. I am sort of thinking around 40 days, but taking it one day at a time (as much as I can).

Great losses MemoryKeeper, Congratulations on 60 lbs!

wmac. This is my very first round, so I don't have much helpful advice. I can share what I am doing though. I try to focus on one day at a time, though I do catch myself thinking about goals and numbers etc. For me I think that makes it harder, I put too much pressure on myself. I am also doing some reading about binge eating/emotional eating as that is definitely what I do. I am trying to get some insight and inspiration to make better choices. Hope that is helpful to you in some way.

As for me, I am still doing well. Today is VLCD6 and I am down 7 pounds. Was hungry yesterday evening, but it went away after a bit. I was down another pound this morning. I am hoping for onederland again soon. I had lost 50 lbs on LC last year, and was in the 180's but have gained a bunch back. I would love it if I made it back to my low from last year by the end of P2, but I am not going to count on that.

Forgot to mention... magnesium... lots will get the bowels moving. Sometimes if I'm really clogged it can take between 2000-3000 mg to get the plumbing flowing. Or you can try smooth move tea but only use it periodically as your bowels can become dependent on it.

10.6 in 13 days is great. I hope to be able to do the same. I'm glad DH was able to see the numbers that he wanted to see. My DH tried to start with me during R1 and wasn't able to make it a whole week. He kept sneaking in the kitchen at night to eat .

You have such a great attitude. I agree with you, we have to take it one day at a time instead of trying to focus on the long term goals. Keep up the good work.

Are those magnesium pills that I can just buy at the health store? I had a problem with the plumbing last round and can use some suggestions to keep it going. The smooth move tea didn't really help me at all.

Good morning ladies congratulations to everyone who lost, to the ones who stayed the same or had a bit of a gain.

I stayed the same today this is day 9 of my restart still have 5 pounds to lose to get back to ldw so if I can average .5 loss per day I will lose another 6 pounds before I end this round so it is very doable.

Good morning ladies!

My pallets came in and I am so excited about that! I can't wait for the end of the day to check them out. When I saw the delivery confirmation I was already on my way to work.

Any thoughts about how to handle pallets? Increase/decrease dosage, how long you hold them under tongue etc... my 1st round was with drops. Pallets are new to me

Counting days to my loading.... 2.5 more days to go

Have a wonderful day ladies!

Go with the instructions that came with your pellets, I use the Vox pellets I take 4 pellets 3X a day, I take them at 6:30 am , around 2:30 pm and again at 9 pm.

I put my pellets in the lid of the bottle and then put them under my tongue this way I don't touch them, mine usually dissolve in about 5 mins the outer coating is the hcg so most people will chew the remainder after about 5 mins.

You can get magnesium capsules or pills or get something called Natural Calm, it is a powdered mag that you put in hot water and drink like a tea. Some like to take mag to the point that the stools are flowing, usually kinda loose, then you back off by 1 pill a day until you find the amount that allows you to have a BM daily.

Was going to post my menu... but I don't think I will right after talking about poop!!

It's fun doing phase 2 with you ladies! I'm enjoying being part of a group and not just going it alone. Today I'm down from 170 to 169.8. I'm just thrilled that I'm moving downward and sticking with this round. I am wanting to plan for a successful phase 3 as I went hog wild the last 2 times and got back up to 180 from my low of 155. I wanna see 155 again, please God!

You WILL get there!! My phase 3 has to be different this time. My past 2 phase 3's I really struggled, my first was AMAZING and I was stabilized fabulously... so my plan is to enter this phase 3 like a newbie... strict.... non of the "iffy" foods that trigger binges or gains... and keep it really clean. I think the more rounds we do the more we "think" we have it figured out... so we are WAY to comfy and often sabotage ourselves! BUT all we can do is learn from it an move on... moving on WE ARE!!!

Good post Shirley! It's also sure to help if you learn a lot of P3 friendly foods going to a variety of websites and learning recipes. That helped me tremendously this round! I maintained below my LIW this round, and hope to do it again. Tons of recipes here too! Good luck!

I am SO ready to start VLCD #1! Am I the only one that finds loading not fun? I mean, I kind of like being able to eat what I want, but my mind is SO ready to get 'er done, that's it torture to have to wait.

Okay, maybe, I'm weird...

I went grocery shopping last night and got all my P2 goods and tonight I will get my kitchen and fridge all P2 ready.

I am NOT looking forward to weighing myself tomorrow, for the first time in over a week. Weighing in really helps me stay accountable.

Hope everyone has a great day!

No, you're not the only one that doesn't find loading fun. The funny thing about me is that I was soooo looking forward to loading, I even planned out the menu for the 2 days. Then when the days came, I didn't even have an appetite for anything that I had on my list. I still forced myself to gorge but was extremely sick the next day.
I feel so much better since I'm back on P2 and I'm eating more sensible.
