Does someone have time to check my stats?

Hi,

I feel like I am bothering everyone when I post, and I am sorry for that. This is just my first round on the HCG diet and I want to get this right. I take homeopathic drops and am now on VLCD 44 not including the 2 load days. I chose to continue past the 40 day round since I am 5 pounds away from goal and still feeling great on the hhcg drops. I have upped my protein .5 oz the last week since I was feeling slightly tired and that seems to have worked.

I was wondering if someone could check my stats and see if everything looks good so far? I guess I am trying to see if going a week or two longer is ok for my body or if I am doing more harm to myself or body. I seem to stall every time after losing a pound or two. I am sticking to protocol with no cheats yet.

A typical days menu since I started looks like this:

morning- 12oz. coffee (tbl. milk/1pkt. truvia) 2 16oz. bottled water
lunch- 4oz. chicken breast with 1 cup spinach and1/2 orange
afternoon snack-1/2 orange and melba toast
dinner-4oz. tilapia with 1 cup of onion soup(organic beef broth/onion)
1 apple and melba toast

That is a typical day for me. Sometimes I change the tilapia for 3.5 oz london broil. I also drink 2 liters of water every single day.

I seem to still be losing .5 pounds a day, but I feel like I am never going to get to goal. I changed my goal from 120 to 125 because I think I would be on vlcd for 6 more months at this rate to lose the last 10. LOL.

I have a chart logging my weight loss if this helps to see if I am still on track to losing or if I need to just stop. Please let me know. I don't want to screw this up after all the hard work I have put in thus far.

Thank you everyone for all the support and motivation I have gotten for the last couple of months. I never could have made it this far without you all.

You aren't bothering me, that's what this place is all about!!!!
everything looks perfect. =) Normal to slow losses closer to goal, makes sense that you stall a lil after losses. The only thing is, since weakness is a sign of immunity, and you've already been on for 40 days I would consider giving your body a break. For the sake of retaining muscle mass etc. =)
That's all I wanted to point out...

WOW!!! You are doing great! I would love to be able to do 40 days, but I have a hard time doing 21 clean days!

I was wondering about the orange you are having.....I know some people have them, but I have heard other people say not to have?
Have you tried having a different fruit?

Keep up the great work!!!!

I will be starting again......on Monday.

You are doing just fine... just so you know, I'm on day 41 VLC myself... If you take my total weight after load to now, I'm down only about 18 lbs, which puts me at a rate less than .5/day. In fact, my weeks 4 & 5 only saw losses of a little over a pound total for each week. Even if you have little stalls between drops, if you are still losing .5/day, consider it a blessing! At that rate you should be where you want in just 10 days.

The only reason why I might stop if I were you is if I really couldn't stand this food and way of living any longer. Otherwise, just keep plowing away! On previous rounds I've ended a little before mini goals I set, but looking back I kicked myself for not losing that last pound or two... those last couple pounds add up after many rounds!

In my first two rounds, I averaged .5 per day. Now in my last round and my last ten pounds, I'm averaging .3 a day.

Still way better, (and more long lasting), than any other diet. At least the scale WILL move after the first five pounds. I'll take it!

Thank you everybody for the quick responses. I just wanted to give an update. I am on day 50 vlcd. I am still losing .5 lbs. a day and plugging along. I have decided to set goal at 120 lbs.

wmac- I swap my fruit every day. If I have a orange for lunch then I will have an apple for dinner. Sometimes I will skip my fruit or melba toast if I am full. I have also heard people say that oranges stall them. Maybe they have more sugar than an apple. I'm not quite sure. I wish I was one of those people who have figured out what foods stall them and what don't. I just eat on protocol. I can't tell what stalls me....if it is the orange, or melba toast, or a type of meat. Whenever I stalled I just assumed it was my body trying to catch up to the weight loss. I hope this doesn't hinder me in P3 when I try to figure out what my body likes and doesn't like.
P.S. I just tried a strawberry sorbet recipe last night to change my fruit up and it was awesome.

IthinkIcan- Yeah 41 days!!!! Congrats to you! Did you get sick of the food? There are many days that I cannot stand to look at chicken any more. LOL I almost want to skip eating the meal sometimes because I can't even look at it without wanting to gag. I finally broke down this past weekend and found P2 recipes and changed the seasoning on my chicken and fish. I also made some kind of P2 chili with extra lean hamburger meat to change my meals up. This whole 50 days I have ate the same 2-3 meals everyday. I was just rotating them. Now I have a few more choices and flavors to choose from which will make it easier (mentally)I hope. I am also going to add shrimp into my meals as another choice of meat portion. As far as my fruit goes I found a strawberry sorbet recipe that I tried last night and fell in love with, so that will be added to my fruit list. Hopefully this change will see me to my goal weight a little easier.

RedsSkinnyJeans- I think I have learned that .3 or .5 loss a day is better than no losses at all. LOL I will take any scrap I can get. LOL. When I say I am losing .5 a day, that is my overall loss a day, even though the scale in the mornings might only show a .2 loss for the day. Should I be looking at the overall loss or the actual daily scale? Do you think staying this long in P2 will help me stabilize in P3 easier?

I hope everybody has wonderful losses today. Hang in there and we will all see a new us soon. Thank you everybody for all the kind words and support

I am doing homeopathic hcg drops. I take 6 drops 6 times a day instead of 12 drops 3 times a day. It seems to work better for me to space them out. I seem to have less hunger issues than if I just do it 3x a day.

Strawberry Sorbet/Pops

*Ingredients

4-6 medium strawberries

Approximately 3 cubes of ice

Any powdered or flavored stevia to taste

½ teaspoon vanilla powder or cocoa (optional)

2 tablespoons lemon juice

¼ cup water

Directions

Blend ingredients together until smooth. Pour into a dish or Popsicle molds

and freeze until firm.

Makes 1 serving (1 fruit)

Phase 3 modifications: Add half and half or cream and whipped egg whites.

Mix in chopped nuts or phase 3 chocolate crumbles and freeze for an ice cream style dessert.

I am doing ok. I am still in a stall. I think this makes 7 days now. I am just chugging along right now. I sure hope that I get a good loss real soon. I might have to re-evaluate my goal weight back to 125 though. If that scale is only dropping me 1-1.5 lbs a week now, it would take me to long for the last 7 I want. I would have liked the extra lbs for some cushion room in P3 but I just don't know. What I do know is I tired of eating the same food no matter what I change with the spices. LOL

I am going to finish up the pre-cooked food I did in advance and see where I am at then. I have about a week to week and a half worth so hopefully I will see some losses.

Try the sorbet. It is soooo good for something different. I can only eat about half of the serving and I am done. It seems like so much. I actually let mine freeze till hard and scrape it with a spoon to eat, kinda like an icee. I freeze them in little containers instead of making ice pops.

Let me know what you think of them?

Thought I'd just throw in a few words here...

Great job on trying to mix things up a bit and try new flavors - that's really going to help you get through a long round. It can be hard to keep doing the same thing every day - chicken was my lunchtime go-to meal - but I got sick of chicken! That's when I started with the shrimp. I'd mix some tomato paste with a little horseradish to make a cocktail sauce, and that really helped me get through. Sometimes I also tried one whole egg plus three egg whites as my protein for a meal - not something to do regularly, but once a week or so it helped to have something different.

I wouldn't worry too much about the scale being stuck a couple days or only going down .2... or even up .2 on occasion. It happens to all of us - for the most part... usually some time during week 2 or 3 we'll start to see some of those days. But then other days you'll suddenly see the scale go down a full pound or more. Most diets the scale will go up and down a little bit, but the overall trend is down. Seeing friends rejoice over losing 10 pounds in 8 weeks on other diets makes me feel a lot better about HCG... it's fast. For me, I'm learning that most of the weight I lose is in 21 days and beyond it slows down. This was my first really long round (48 VLC days). Part of me wishes I stopped earlier because I slowed down so much, but I'm still glad for the 5 pounds or so that I lost in the last 3 weeks of this... and even if the scale didn't move much, I really did notice my body changing shape for the better. It's pounds and inches that matter!
