Thanks Lara!! Hope you had a good weekend and the scale is being kind to you!!

I'm up 3.4lbs overnight but it was fun!! I knew it would happen, totally gorged myself yesterday, and actually could have been much worse (been known to gain 5+lbs in a day before). This time I planned it, chose it, enjoyed and will now remove it . All eggs today!! I really hope it works. The last CD I did (GY) didn't work well. And last round my egg CD didn't work at all. But I have SOOOO many eggs to use up. I'll give it a whirl. If it doesn't work I'll do Steak CD on Wed. Sigh.

I've got 2-3 weeks to completely pack up my 3200sf house!! So, I will still pop in from time to time, but my computer time has to be where I cut back to make this move happen. I'll be around, but not as often . I'll be thinking of you all and wishing you well!!

Hope you all had a nice relaxing weekend and your scales are happy with your choice!

Julie- Sounds like you ate well too! Hope your egg day serves you well! I'm sure it will come right back off!
You have a busy few weeks ahead, how exciting, a new home! You have vacation in there too I think? Good luck getting everything done. I'm sure you'll be getting a good workout even before the exercise!

I'm day 22 here, not starting P4 today as planned. Still fighting the 5+ gain from Fri/Sat. My fault totally! Did a steak day yesterday and lost -2.4, down to 121.6 with LDW @ 121.4. I'm in my window but that's the first time I've been this high. I seemed to have stabilized at 118-119, and won't be happy until I'm back there. I figure this is my wiggle room for when P4 starts so don't want to start it here.

Good morning all.
Julie - I'm sad that you gained this weekend , but on the other hand I'm happy for you since you say that it was well worth it because you had fun , nobody deserves it more than you with all of the stress that you've been under. Enjoy your eggs today, I hate eggs so I have no idea how anyone can enjoy eating them all day . When I do eat them I have to force myself.

I had a pretty relaxing weekend, even with my eating. I didn't overdo it too bad but I'm up about 2 lbs from the weekend. I really think that I'm eating too much GY throughout the day along with my regular meals, it's like my drug and I just gotta have it . I'm just gonna have clean P3 meals all week since I'm starting R2 this weekend.
I am looking forward to my gorge days this Saturday and Sunday, I'm actually writing out my menu's now for all of the fattening foods that I absolutely have to have, it's actually kind of sad if you think about it.

I hope everyone has an awesome week!!!

Even tho I didn't have sugar or starch I'm up, so its a steak day for me.
I wish that I could say that it was worth it but it wasnt. I cant even explain why this happened unless it was one tbsp of sunflower seeds I had on Friday or the fact that I had takeout chicken tikka masala which was supposed to not have sugar but it looks like they changed the recipe since I'd been there before. So all weekend I was struggling rather than enjoying my sucessful CD's the days before.
I hope that this CD works better than the last, and I hope to loose 3-4 lbs so I can get back no normal eating. I plan on doing this thru the week cuz I want to get back to LIW, darnit. The weekend was good, but it went too fast. I was planning on having one steak but I'm thinking I will have two, lol.
Cant wait to go home and eat them, lol.

I weighed myself this morning and am up 155.2, but I worked out for the first time in months yesterday and BOY did it feel good. I also ate VERY P4 on Friday night and Saturday, so I am surprised that is all I am up.

I am back on strict P3 (which is pretty much how I plan to live, i.e. LC) and I feel really good. I think the working out is going to be really good for my psyche. I am back in goal mode!

Lara, I think I may be right there with you in May for another round. I have to time it perfectly though. Since I have a wedding and want to make sure that I have NO get together or planned dinners that will interfere.

hey y'all haven't been on in over a week...haven't weighed either....finally said I need to face the music and this morning I did. up 4.8 from LIW I TOTALLY fell off the wagon with JUDDD and p4 checking in with y'all etc so steak day today, may do a DD tomorrow then back to LC UD's...SUCKS but I have to realize and accept I can't do any carbs at all basically so back on the wagon and buckling down...I did this to myself but I do have the tools to fix it though I am pretty depressed today.

OMG I was about to panic! Couldn't figure out why nobody had posted since yesterday afternoon! Lol...The "white coconut chocolate" i made for my mom yesterday w/ co was a huge success!
I was up a lb this morning...but had my gy day already planned...so no surprise there! BUT OMG I want boston butt so bad! It is in my fridge! Oh, or the left over ribs!!! Guess i will take those for lunch tomorrow!
I'm so confuzled i don't know which way is up or down....what i need to eat/not eat...everything seems to make me gain! and to top it off...the dog i had been keeping in the garage/back yard got a bit aggressive w/ my parents today, wiggled off his leash they tried to get him in the car on...and my two heard the commotion, pushed open the doggie door and bolted out back. The other dog jumped my female, my make went after him to protect her and the other dog had them both down!!!!!
Of course, i'm at school....my 80 yr old parents started spraying them down w/ the garden hose....got them separated and safe....BUT we decided to have animal control come and take him in. He was close to 100lbs and no way we could control him. It broke my heart....i do dog rescue...i don't turn them over to animal control!!!!!!!!! But I'm not going to put my dogs in jeopardy or my parents. sigh.....

OMG We will start r2 together...well, i load monday & tuesday!!! I do love our gy! It is like ice cream to me! ohhhh, i wonder if i could do froyo with it.....there's an idea for my next correction day! lol

Glad you had a good weekend!!! I don't know how ya'll do your steak day! As much as I love steak I can't go all day w/o food! Though, i'm craving meat right now.....just had GY + butter coffee all day! sounds gross right?!?

That goal oriented feels good doesn't it?!? That is really good since you at "very" p4 and wasn't up a huge amt! I've never made it to p4 foods...so i'm impressed with anyone who can go there!!!

BIG GIANT HUGS! Don't get down on yourself! You are right! You have the tools and the know how to correct it. The BIGGEST hurdle is recognizing that you need to fix something...and heck, you're already over that one. You go girl!!!! You beat the hard part!

Ok, can someone please "redefine" clean p3 eating??? Apparently i am not doing it! grrrrrrr. I am eating low carb...i mean, i'm like a cave man's dream!!!! Just feed me meat! I can't wait for p2 for the veggies! sigh......
I know to keep the cheese minimal...and i really do try to limit the hwc i've even taken to using butter in my coffee! I am trying to reconfigure my sodium to potassium ration....but how in the heck do you do that w/o taking potassium suplements? I AIN'T eating cukes! FORGET IT! I hardly put salt on my food anymore....
putting this on the p2 thread also.....i've got a week to get a handle on it b4 p2 again.

ya'll!

ps....i had a nibble of the boston butt...just a nibble....even cold it just melted on the tongue! DROOL!!!

Hi Theresa! Strict P3 (per P&I) is basically anything you want that is not a sugar or a starch. A lot of people come up with other ideas, percentages, calories, etc., but I believe P&I just says NO sugars or starches.

Good for you Drew! Glad you weren't up much and YAY! for working out! I'm still deciding when to start that, prob when I get back down from the weekend gain.

Hope your steak day went well! You'll be back down in no time. Carbs? Will we ever learn? I was up 5 from Friday!

Theresa- Hope you see a nice loss from your GY day, and are back in the swing of things with work.

I'm down -1 today. LDW 121.4, today 120.6. Hope to get back to 118-119 then have to think about P4 b/c it's day 22 now.
Not sure I wanna even go there.

Good morning ladies. Well, I'm 3 lbs. over my LDW . I know exactly what I did wrong, but it was kind of intentional. I met a friend of mine at Starbucks yesterday afternoon and had a Hazelnut mocha . Then for dinner last night I had 2 pieces of fried chicken (from fast food restaurant) and 2 glasses of wine.
I'm still not stressing over it since I go back on P2 this weekend. Not really trying to do any CD's this week, I will still try to eat clean P3 for the rest of the week.
I hope that everyone's CD's from yesterday pays off for them this morning on the scale.

GO FIGURE!!!! 7.2 lb loss from my GY CD. 2 water pills, smooth move at night....back to 264.4
At least it all worked....but i sure would like to STAY there for the next week till i load on Tuesday!!!!!

7 lbs??? Wow that's gotta be a record. Well done Theresa!! I have CD envy.

I'm down 3.2 from my steak day. Dunno what happened this morning cuz I slept thru 2 alarms and woke up 15 minutes before I had to be at work and I was the only one with the key. I'm so grouchy today everything bugs me. Attitude adjustment please!! lol
They make one of us in the office check out a key each day cuz they say its a security issue but that realy doesnt make sense.

Bought a Cooks spiral sliced ham last night had ham n eggs for breakfast. I've eaten the ones at Costo but never bought one at Fry's... afraid of gains anyone have any experience with ham? lol

I'm kind of gun shy to post this but does anyone think that eating all of your protein at one meal in p2 consider that against protocol in p2?

Jealous of you all w. big losses from your CD's!! I hate the egg day. It doesn't work for me well and I regret using it yesterday. Just b/c I had a lot of eggs to use up!! I should have bought some steak and done the Steak CD. That works better for me this round.

Theresa-you rock those GYCD's!! You will have rebound. Just like last time. It's gonna' happen btw the tea and the pill you've really squeezed what you can out of you. Some water will refill it. It's ok. You're still in your window. Have a good day and enjoy that loss!!

Tonya-great job on your CD!!!

Tiff-good attitude. you're going back to P2, and that gain will be gone tomorrow. Glad you enjoyed yourself!

Lara- sorry your day started so rough!! Hope it gets better. For the all protein at 1 meal? I'm not sure I could do it. I get so hungry as it is on P2. If you can do it, give it a whirl!! Should work.

Drew-great job wokring out. We all know that's gonna' hurt the scale but be overall help for your body. Glad you're in the zone!!

For me "clean" P3 means eating at home. No sugar or starch, but whole real food. No recipes or flour substitiutes. I will be doing this today. I'm still out of my window even though the gain all came in 1 day. It should have been the perfect opportunity for a great CD whoosh!! But, alas, I am doomed to less than stellar Egg days . Now that I gave it another opportunity to impress me, it will have to go. I'm going to do a steak day on Wednesday. Today I'll "rest".

The annoying thing about a meager loss on a CD is the knowledge that I would have likely lost the same amount had I just eaten normal LC. I would have enjoyed that much more!! Oh well, now I know.

I'll be doing C25K W2D2 today. Not even dreading it .

Someone asked the question in a thread "do you have to eat at the same time you dose?" and I said no you can eat whenever you want to as long as you..... eat all your food, and dose at the same time every day... and I mentioned that I for example eat my fruit at lunch and save my protein until dinner along with a double serving of veggies and my last fruit.

Someone responded and said thats not protocol and not to tell anyone that because they will be too hungry. They quoted from P&I saying that its not right because you can never eat more than 4 items at a meal... but I dont b/c I dont eat the grissini. If that makes me rogue then so be it.... but why so quick to say what I'm doing is wrong? Didnt understand and it kind of made me not want to post anymore. Heres the deal though, I am experienced, I go by the book, these are my opinions I know what works for me and I will share it whether or not anyone agrees with me or not. On average I loose 27-30 lbs in 23 day rounds. What I do works for me.
I have to tell you that I'm never ever hungry except for the first couple of days on hcg after that I could care less if I eat and thats why my meals have to ber really tasty and good otherwise I cant eat them at all.
I always take injections and a doctor here in Tucson prescribes it for me.

morning y'all, yesterdays steak day got me a 3 lb loss so just .2 below my window. Today will be a meaty UD and tomorrow back to a DD, should get me back to under my LIW soon.

Theresa-7 lbs is freaking amazing redonkulous awesomness!!!

Hi ladies! The weekend left me within my range (even Easter Sunday after having a great early dinner at a restaurant with my family --I ate from salad bar topping my spinach salad with boiled eggs, sunflower seeds, bacon, some cheese, ceasar+blue cheese dressing --and desert was different berries) and the next day (Monday) I was 1.2lbs down --surprising after a dinner at a restau!!
HOWEVER, this morning I am up 2.6lbs :-( I will try GY day tomorrow if I can find the full fat type in our local grocery store. If not, I may do eggs as that is all I can be able to make after work --I get home very late to make a steak. Any better idea if I can't find full fat GY? I am also so bloated.... any advice?

For me "clean" P3 means eating at home. No sugar or starch, but whole real food. No recipes or flour substitiutes. I will be doing this today. I'm still out of my window even though the gain all came in 1 day. It should have been the perfect opportunity for a great CD whoosh!! But, alas, I am doomed to less than stellar Egg days . Now that I gave it another opportunity to impress me, it will have to go. I'm going to do a steak day on Wednesday. Today I'll "rest".

The annoying thing about a meager loss on a CD is the knowledge that I would have likely lost the same amount had I just eaten normal LC. I would have enjoyed that much more!! Oh well, now I know.

I'll be doing C25K W2D2 today. Not even dreading it .
Sorry your egg day wasn't great. I agree about the loss being the same with a LC day. My steak day wasn't great either. Glad your enjoying C25K a little more. I'm still afraid to start exercise, but need to soon. Just too much fear of P4 & exercise! Your doing great Julie! I'm taking notes!

WOW, WOW, WOW! Your Cd results amaze me. Sorry you have the pattern of getting there each time. At least the CD's are very effective. I sure hope your next P3 goes better than this one. I really do thing bc will help. I was there all during this P2, they had some great info for stalls etc. Hope your "back to school" is going well, summer will be here before you know it. BTW I made your Coconut oil mix that you made for your Mom tonight, YUMMY!!! I added chopped hazelnuts to it, it was like coconut fudge.

Morning ladies! Hope you all have a good weigh in!

I'm finally back down to 118.8 today, -1.8!!! So happy I followed through after my off plan eating on Saturday. LDW was 121.4 but I do think my body is happy with this lower #, and me too!
