hey ladies! anyone wanna load this weekend? I'm thinking Monday is time to go back to P2,and finish this stubborn fluff off for good

Heather I hear ya on the carbs,my body says no it a big way to any grain.How does JUDDD make you feel at first?

I do load monday/tuesday. However, this won't be my last rodeo! I need to pull at least 100 lbs off...not sure what will happen below 200 haven't seen it in FOREVER! I know there will be at least two more rounds after this next one.

I do think I am going to do over the 40 days...trying to time it to where i am into p3 before i hit the road back to texas!

I started round 2 on Monday and am doing fine so far. Had a few hungry days, but today is much better.

Maintained well on P3/P4, no correction days required. I'm really starting to believe in the whole "reset" thing. Before HCG, I would have gained everything back in a few weeks.

Just wanted to stop in a say "hey" and good luck next week

Hey Cindy!!! Missed ya! I think we are all on here from the century club! lol...Good to see ya!! I'm glad you stabilized so well! WOOHOO!!! When are you starting another round? I'm loading again monday/tuesday....i know i will eat lots and lots of fats...but i'm also going to indulge in some ooeygooey stuff! lol...red velvet cupcakes and I truly want a NYC pizza from screamin' mimi's here in Savannah! OMGEE they are so good! I ate mcD's last time for breakfast....i just can't do that this time....it grossed me out before...but now... i can't even think about it! Fried eggs, pork side, avocado, butter and lots of bullet proof coffee will be my "last breakfast meals" lol...at least for 50 days or so! i'm switching to hhcg....so i may go just a weeeee bit longer!

How have you been??? What's up???

I am up way too early for a saturday! But mom and i are about to go search for art treasures!...err, junk according to my dad! lol

I was DOWN .4 this am...not sure what THAT is about! Surely the 1/2 c of gy i had as a snack didnt fool my body into thinking it was a cd did it?!?!?
But i'll take it!!! Don't even know what spurred it! lol....woohoo!!!

Morning all,

I'm down 4.4 from my steak day... now the challenge is either A maintaining or B doing another one today. I've never done back to back steak days but this is what I'd promised myself that I would do so I will attempt to do it.
Since I've been bouncing right back up on my normal no starch no sugar days, if I want to get this down 3 more pounds (to be at the top of my window) or 5 more if I want to be at LIW... I need to do another cd.
I just want tp make sure that if I do this I loose at least 3 lbs.
Just as I said that I would lock myself in the house all weekend and clean so that no one couls tempt me to go out the invitations started coming in... a party, drinks at a bar... but I said no and went home to clean my kitchen.
I know this, I will only start to look good when I loose an additional 20-30 pounds and why even go out at all before I get there? Sounds awful but true. Let the cleaning begin! And the making of iced tea! LOL

Theresa- a loss! WTG! Maybe the threat of another round is making your body behave! Have fun treasure shopping!

Lara- Nice loss! I admire your determination! I've not done 2 CD's in a row, but last P3 I would do CD, next day stick to CD foods, CD. You certainly have more experience than I do though. Good luck with whatever you do, hope the scale keeps going down. You'll enjoy the clean house!

Well, I'm still sick today. Head feels better but it's moved in my chest. Spent yesterday being lazy, ate nothing new and am up +2.4 (122). This is only +.6 from LDW so not sure what to do now. I feel like it's just from being sick, I ate 1900 cals, usually come in between 2000- 2250 and lose or maintain 118-119. Debating a CD or just really clean eating. Thoughts?

I've done it, Lara. I've also done it when I was inside of my window, at the top, just to see what would happen. Both times I lost minimally or gained. I think with the back to back cd's, I lost something like 0.8 the second day. IMHO it wasn't worth the effort of the cd. Have you thought of doing a medium P2++ day today instead, as C'Marie calls them, then doing another cd Sunday? Eat P2 foods (chicken breast, lean hamburger, apples), just in larger quantities with some minimal fat? Just a thought...

Yes Lara- I found it, and it helps a lot! Thanks for telling me about it! Gonna wait on a CD, even with the big gain since I'm technically only .6 above LDW, and still in my window. I kinda think my LDW should be 118-119 though, since I've been there all but 1 day in 26 days of P3. Good thing I'm not having my Mexican P4 this weekend, with the big gain already I'm sure it would have sent me over the edge! I'll wait to start P4 a few days. Thanks, hope your having a nice day! Hi ladies! Today was a good day --went down 1.4lbs that pus on only 0.4 about my LDW!! --Thank God! I think the big loss was do to drinking lots of warm water and good rest since I didn't have to get up early to work this morning.

Lara-try doing a CD meal variety pack. I had eggs for bfast, greek yogurt for lunch and a big steak for dinner the day after a Steak CD one time. Dropped another 1.5 that day. Give it a go!!

Hey girls, just a quick pop in. Up 0.6 today but ate really bad yesterday (fun P4 things, not really worried). I'm still in window and had french fries and real frozen custard today . I'm sure I'll be up tomorrow, but I can take it. I am ready to live my life and not sweat all the little meals, choices etc. I'm running, I'm below my goal weight, I'm wearing size 4's and 6's (in ladie's, in Jr's it's still 9/11). I am ready to live maintenance. LC most of the week, and indulge a bit on the weekend. CD if needed, but what I've learned is that the CDs aren't always that effective. Clean P3 eating (homemade) usually works as well for me. So, I'm happy and settled in. I am past the "freak out" stage and will monitor w. perspective from now on.

I personally plan on staying around! They are gonna have to drag me out kicking and screaming! lol...i've gotten fond of all my "friends" on here!

That is so awesome that you are at the end of your hcg journey and ready to live maintenance! And in a 4/6!!! WOOHOO! That is so cool and TOTALLY inspirational for those of us barely starting!!! Don't go no where though! We still need you and want you around here!
I bought some cadbury eggs to day at T! They were super on sale and I wanted some indulgences for my load days! All this talk ya'll were doing of candy and such had me drooling!

Tonya I am SO sorry you are sick! Don't sweat the gain...i am 100% sure it is from the icky sickness! Are there p3 friendly comfort foods you enjoy or want? Really good to know about the SF cloraseptic! When i'm sick i pretty much drink the stuff! It is always in my throat/chest when i get sick! no fun! I hope you are better tomorrow!!!

While I know exactly about not wanting to go out until you get to goal or feel better about your looks...but your photo....you are STUNNING!!! I wish i were there to give you a GIANT hug!!!


Ok, so the garage sale-ing was a decent success! lol...got some good stuff and a cute lil wagon for my new front porch (WHERE EVER that might be!) that i totally didn't need! But i got it anyway!

On an even BETTER note....i had a bathroom break right after i weighed this morning....and out of neurosis...weighed again!
I was down .8 from yesterday!!! Woo hoo!!!! I was stinking excited!
I bought some new capris at sam's to celebrate...knowing they would be too small right now...but w/ a new round starting...i will so need pants SOON! Mine are falling off of me right now. Here is my problem....My THIGHS! When i find things to fit my thighs....it falls off my tummy and hips!!
UGH! How do i correct that? I've always had big calves and thighs...but i want to be able to wear pants! grrrrrrr

Sounds like you had lots of fun today! Bet that wagon will look cute on your new porch! New Capri's! They'll fit in no time! Let's hope the hcg targets your legs so pants fit better! I'm feeling better today unless I get to doing to much. Tried to do some yard work (b/c it was beautiful outside)
but every time I'd bend over to do something I just went to coughing. Started some mucinex for chest congestion, hope it helps soon. Sure hope your right about my 2 1/2 lb gain being caused from sickness. I kept to clean foods, my %'s, no nuts and nothing new today. Hope the scale treats me well for it tomorrow. Enjoy those cadbury eggs when you load. I keep seeing them on clearance, but don't dare. If I ate one, I'd eat them all. When I started this round I loaded with lots of Valentine's goodies!

Hey Girls! Day 14 P3 and was 1 lb above LDW. Today was an all out carb fest! I felt like crap tonight after it was all over with! Margaritas, beer, cake, bbq, beans, crawfish, shrimp, bbq beans, chips, dips, cookie cake you name it, we had it! 2 birthday parties and GLAD it's over! Tomorrow do not plan on having any coconut cake at my Grandmother's! Guess Monday will be a CD for me! I hope it's the last one on this P3!

Good Idea! I was trying to find my beloved chocolate covered peeps didn't find any! But i'm going to look again today! lol...i caved and had an egg last night....GAINED 1.6...but i doubt it is all from the egg!
OH! I added an egg back night before for my cake, and one for dinner and another one in the cake last night.....could it be the eggs? Who knows ! My potasium was 3x+ my sodium yesterday...so that is getting better! lol...though good grief the veggies i have to eat in order to get it that high! so much food!

I hope you are feeling so much better! If i were in TX already i could bring you garlicky chicken soup! That works magic! Don't try to work too much! Get some rest...that will heal your body fast!

I woke up to a 1.6+ gain....but i did have one cadbury egg last night. I still was under/right around my 2300 for the day...felt a bit puffy...but i wore my self ragged shopping, sams, prepping chx breasts for p2...and Bernice hasn't shown up yet today....I had FOUR cups of spinach, tomatoes, onions and plenty of fat yesterday...she had better get here!

I am going back to the commissary today for other p2 foods and such (WAY cheaper w/ my dad's id!) and try to bag stuff so i don't have to touch the stuff after i start!

I hope everyone has a fantastic Saturday night....AWESOME Sunday ahead of you and your scales were great too you!!!

OHH! I forgot! I was gonna make sweetened condensed crema last night for my binge/load and i read the ingredients...CARAGEENEN!!!!!!! AAAAARRRRGHHHHHH! Is it in everything? So, needless to say, it is going in the food bank~ now, i feel bad....i'm poisoning ppl at the food bank...but it is better than no food, right? I've always felt bad about that.....and then watched the program last night on the food network about childhood hunger....of which i have never suffered....obviously! Makes me sad....I have kids that don't eat after lunch on Friday till breakfast at school on Monday

coming out of lurkdom...

do you have the brand of dairy Anderson Erickson? if so, that heavy cream is grade A cream only. HTH!! only downfall is does not have the shelf life that other creams have. it makes great butter...just made some last night.

I've never heard of that one! this was a table crema that I ordered off of netrition here....it is the one that you typically find in a Latino/Hispanic grocery store....i miss them being from Texas!! I have yet to find one here in SAV. I miss my Italian stores in Tampa also! I will have to check for the anderson one! mmmmm, i will have to try making my own butter! that just sounds delish!

Ha Theresa! That was my weight yesterday morning only 1 lb above LDW. Not the morning after weight! LOL My Dad has the same exact scale I have but it never reads the same as mine at home. Anyway, the scale was up quite a few pounds this morning SO eating CLEAN P3 today and I'm still sure I'll need a CD tomorrow. Bummer but it is what it is and to be honest, it was good going down on the taste buds but the tummy ache and STUFFED feeling wasn't worth it! EGGGGS here I come!

Hi ladies,

It's been a while so I thought I'd update a little.
The last few days have been downright awful in the weight game. I had two events to attend (the reasons I did HCG in the first place) over the weekend and by Saturday morning, I was 2.2 over my LDW. So yesterday, I gave a somewhat half hearted attempt at a steak day. I say half-hearted because while I didn't have anything as part of protocol, the steak I ate for dinner was served by the catering services at the party so I have no idea what was in it. I woke up to a 0.8 loss, which is disappointing considering I've read people have anywhere between 2-4 lbs losses with steak days. I would really really like to be at/under my LDW and I want to do another correction day but I don't want to gain again tomorrow morning. I was considering doing a Fage day today but I think I'm going to eat clean and high protein today and see what happens. The good news is that everyone at the party commented on how teeny my waist looked! But now, I feel like I've blown it all away. Not happy at all.

Luv-don't sweat it. I had a CD that went the same way. You may see the "second day effect" today. Hopefully!! Hang in there, keep it clean and you'll be back down tomorrow I'm sure!

I'm out of my window today. Totally expected, earned and am not worried about it. Made homemade guacamole yesterday (delicious!!!) and had a LOT of it, with tortilla chips!! That was after I had "lunch" late which consisted of shoestring fries and some frozen custard!! Combine that with the last of the Cadbury eggs and I'm truly releived it's only 2lbs out of window!! I have settled into a comfy pattern of indulging on the weekend and then repairing the damage throughout the week. It's fun. I'm not stressing about the gains, and usually the weight goes back to LDW w. some CD's and/or clean LC eating. I think today, instead of doing a CD (rebel ) I will be just doing low-carb eating. (bunless cheeseburger or meat of some kind out for lunch today). If I'm still out of window tomorrow I'll do a GYCD.

Tonya-hope you're feeling better today!! Thanks for the encouragement. I am in a good place. Made peace w/ my current weight, am exercising regularly and feeling realy good and happy overall! It's a nice place in life to be. I have wrestled and been down about my obesity all my life. I'm now in the place where others seek my advice on weight loss, health and "being slim". And to think, given your inspiration, I will likely try a last round in July/Aug to lose a bit more and get where I've never thought I could go. you've inspired me tremendously!!

Natasha-hope the damage is minimal today, or at least responds well to a CD!! Life happens, enjoy it!!

Lara-Wow!! Great loss!! Hope the rest of your "sequestered all CD weekend" went well. Let me know for when I need to work back down to LDW eventually!

Dh's grandpa passed away yesterday. He was an amazing man of God and like a father to dh. He really lived his life loving and serving others. We'll all miss him greatly but are focused on being thankful for the years we got him (90!!).
