Morning Girls! I am doing a CD today b/c I'm .5 over my window. I ate a few jelly beans yesterday. I know - BAD! I hate not having any wiggle room.

B - 3 scrambled eggs w/ 1 leftover sausage
L - 4 egg made into salad w/ mayo/relish
S - 4 deviled egg halves
D - 3 egg omelete

Yesterday I ate p3. No starches no sugars. In fact, for the last 3 weeks no starches no sugars... I had ham and eggs with cheddar for breakfast a cobb salad for lunch with spring mix hardboiled eggs ham cheese tomato olives and a SF vanilla latte... all homemade meals (except the coffee) and I'm up 4 lbs. The ham got me. It was too salty. I knew it somehow but ate it anyway. Costco hams dont do that to me, but apparently Fry's hams (Cooks brand) do. Now I'm up 8 lbs. I was up 4 until yesterday. I could see it in my face the puffiness and when I put my eye makeup on. I was planning on doing a bacon day but it looks like I'm going to have a steak week now. I dont even know if I should eat the tomato cuz I'm allergic to tomatoes and maybe it would work better? Dunno. I'm really feeling like I just want to crawl back into bed now. Sheesh, whats a girl gotta do? this has been snowballing and partially the result of my trying 2 Gy CD's that didn t work. Here I go with the water drinking... wouldnt be surprised if I loose 5 lbs on this steak day due to the salt. I'm so throwing away a $16 ham when I get home.

and the climb begins! I'm up .6 but i am sooooo ok with that...A: expect it and B: i do know how to correct it....AND the next one should be right before my load days....so extra wiggle for the load gain....since last load was NINE lbs in two days! WHOA! I did lose it in two days though! lol Thank God!

I ran into my Dr's nurse....she said i didn't have to pay the 140 office visit just to get more hcg....just the 15 nurse fee! still, the hhcg was way cheaper....so if it doesn't work for me...i can go back to him and not be out too much money!

I am so sorry for the fly by again....chaos in the school this am...busy and kids get here in five again! I will be back at lunch to try to catch up on personals! I was in bed and almost asleep by 7 last night. Major headache for several days now. I feel like it was a detox headache of sorts... idk where that came from though?
love to all!!!!!

Thanks much for the tip! I was able to find 10% Cabot GY I hope it will work as well --I did not add anything as it is high in fat and calories!! Today is my 1st experiment with GYCD. I hope it will work. I actually love it -tastes great with some strawberries and truvia!

This morning I went down -2.4lbs but I am still doing my 1st CD today as I am at 1.8lbs over my LDW.

Tonya-That's wonderful!! I knew you'd be back there!! Your body settled there and better stay there . Now, are you moving on to P4 today? Or taking it a bit slow and locking it in again?

I was planning a "clean" P3 day. But for some reason could NOT resist the chocolate. I tried a bit of SF choc, but those Cadbury mini eggs were calling to me from the garage fridge (tried to keep them out of sight!!). Anyway, I ate a big dinner, then we went to Costco later and I had a foot long hot dog and still had the candy. I think when I do a CD that doesn't go well I feel very indulgent the next day. That said, I'm giving the steak day a whirl today. I'll be out a lot and that should work well. Going to do 2 steaks though. Even w. my indulgences yesterday I'm still 151.4 today, which is a bit encouraging. I dont' want to be a slave to the scale for life, but I do want to remain strong and in control. I'l do this steak day, and am confident I'll be back in my window. But, like Tonya, I'd really like to maintain a bit lower, at or below LDW. I'll work on that. (really hope the fam finishes this candy-it's really my fave and one of the few things I can't resist. Tollhouse cookies is the other!! ).

Natasha-so get that. Jelly beans don't tempt me, Cadbury choc? That's another story. Hope your egg CD goes well!

How frustrating!! You really have had a rough time this round!! Hope it gets better. Give that ham away!! Freeze it and take a meal to someone down the road. I'm sure it's water retention and the cheese likely didn't help you either. If it's the bag of shredded cheese it has starch in it. Try an apple w. your steak today. Esp. if you're allergic to tomatoes. (I like apples better anyway!!). I'm right there w. you btw. Steak it is!!

Off to thaw some steak I found in the freezer yesterday. I would go buy one, but since we're moving in a few weeks I want to try to clean out the freezer a bit. Have a great day all!! I need to fit in a run today as well. This might be tricky. May have to do it at dd's vball practice on the treadmill. Better than nothing, I guess.

I'm even two days from p4 which doesnt make sense, this really shouldnt be happening but I will fix it even if I have to do 3 steak days in a row. In the past i would have just adjusted my LIW but not this time. I want to start in may and not get to my LIW even with loading... if I do load.

I love those Cadbury eggs too, they're my favorite.
Hope your packing is going well Julie =)

I use the cabot 10% and i've had great luck with it!!! I even put a tub in my ice cream maker last night (wasn't feeling well and food did just not appeal to me!) and made yummy SF fro yo with it! I did add stevia to it! Good luck with the GYCD! I hope it works well for you!!!

UGH I wouldn't have been able to stay away...though the Girl scout cookies are still in my cabinet....now Monday and Tuesday when I am loading??? LOOK OUT! And a warm cookie? of any kind is irresistible!!!

You are soo funny So, what kind (name) of diuretic did you take? I want see if I can combine it with my GYCD today. I hope it's not too late as I do not want make rounds to the bathroom all night long
I noticed that if I don't sleep at least 6 hours, I gain about 2lbs the next day!! I know it's not fat gain but I still do not like seeing the scale going up that much overnight!

I didn't take a diruetic, my mom says that theyre bad for you. and I would be afraid to gain it back the next day. I'm just drinking a lot of tea and hoping that it works.. in fact I have to pee right now. I know, TMI, lol.
Doing a steak day... good luck on your GY day. Mmmm GY.

and I havent been sleeping well either, I'm going to bed super early tonight.

I am enjoying my GYCD --it should not be called CD but indulgence
As Tiffany suggested --I am having it with strawberries (8oz. spread out) with truvia. Had it for BF and lunch and soo looking forward to the dinner portion around 5pm. I hope it will work as it worked for others. I will let you know tomorrow for sure how it goes.

Should I take a water pill or leave it and experiment first how my body reacts to GYCD? I am almost done with my daily 3 litres of water.... not bad!

Have a wonderfull afternoon/evening ladies

Good luck to you with the steak day as well. I've also been drinking water like there is no tomorrow! I am using the BR at least every 30 minutes (glass in glass out) --trying to hold it as much as I can so that I can get some work done --lol!!

Natasha- enjoy your egg day!

Lara- I'm sorry! I'm sure it's water and your right, you'll drop 5 overnight. Big hugs!

hhcg lowcarb- good luck with your GY day!

Julie- I'm so happy to back down!!! I'm thinking I better give it a day or two to lock back in, but hope to try out some Mexican food this weekend.
Any pointers for P4, or mexican food at a restaurant? Cadbury, tollhouse, shoot I love it all! Considering what you ate yesterday, I think you did great! Hope your steak day is successful. Mine only got me a lb, then went back to 2100 cal's and dropped 2 more. How's the packing going?

Hope you all are having a good day! My daughter left for Dayton for winter guard competition this morning. First time to not have a kid in my house for even 1 night in ten years!!!! Don't know what I'll do with myself, she comes back Sunday night. Other DD called from her dorm and wanted to know if I wanted her to come home... NOT!!! I love them both dearly but cherish the opportunity to miss and appreciate them. Gonna be a nice quite weekend, hope to test the water eating mexican food for the start of P4!

Morning, I'm down 3.2 from my steak day which I'm happy with, still 5 up... so today I eat light tommorrow another steak day. This time the steak wasnt as good as last and I paid $40 for 4 ribeyes at costco. Good news is I didnt have to eat two cuz one was big enough. How is everyone else doing on their CD's? Have a good day all.

Good morning ladies!

Lara -Congrats on your CD success!!

As for me, my 1st CD since starting P3 using GY was not bad but not at all what I expected only -1.6lbs . But I have to admit I enjoyed GYCD sooo much. Considering how sensitive I am to carb -I think the total of 48g of carb and 28g of sugar in the cabot GY may be a little too high for my metabolism??? --I am still thankful for the loss though as it puts me at +0.2lb from my LDW. Next time I will try eggs or chicken and see how it goes but I am praying and hoping I won't need another CD before my 2nd round as it is coming up next weekend (so excited about that).

Those that are starting another round and moving to P2 (such as Tiffany), I hope you are sticking around on this forum --right? I am starting mine a week after you and would like to keep in touch and helping each other along the way...

Have a wonderful day ladies!

Awesome Lara & HHCG! WOOT! I just cannot do the GY CD. I don't like the taste of it.

P3D13 and down 2 pounds w/ my EGG CD! Back to .5 above LDW! YESSSS! I also had 1 sausage patty at breakfast & a handful of pecans yesterday. So I guess it was a modified CD!

Ya'll have a great day and good luck on the scales this morning!

Good Morinin' everyone!!!
Lara....that is AWESOME!!! I only lost a lb doing the steak...it is fascinating how we each react differently to the different CDs! Excellent though!!

I was up .8 this morning...but i kinda figured as much....why break tradition right?!? lol...oh well, p2 starts monday so i think i will do another cd day (should be right on target!) on Sunday then load monday/tuesday.....lots of fats and maybe even a taboo item or two! I cuppy cakes!!! I call princess coco puff ( the dog on the left of my pic) my cuppy cake! Have ya'll seen the cutest ever video on youtube w/ the pibble puppy and the little girl singing cuppycake song to it? OMGEEEEE!

I am thinking of making the trip to charleston to go to TJ and WF to load up on organic stuff...can ya'll think of things i need in p2 that i would need to get there? I'm trying to come up w/ a grocery list before i drive the 100+ miles (each way!) yes...that is nutso!

Hope everyone has a great day!!!

Please help

My drops provider disappeared on me --have been trying to call/email her since last week but no call/email back and I have only one bottle which is about 12 days worth. I need another bottle so that I can do a full 30ish days round.

Anybody with good reference? I prefer a person than a website... mine brand was BioGenesis HCG (homeopathic) and it worked great for me --no hunger and had a decent loss of ~20lbs in 30 days.

My other question is in regard to pallets --can you get those without aprescription? If yes, any reference? Anybody that used them and got good results --better than drops or same?

I need to have everthing ready by the end of next week, so your feedback/help will be very much appreciated.

Thank you!

Thanks much for the quick reply!
Have you used Pallets before? If yes did they work as well as the drops? I am trying to get as much info before I more to something else since I know the drops I used worked for me...

You wanted just a regular p2 grocery list Theresa?
ok I thought you meant just regular p2 foods... but you were saying stuff they make like dressings etc... right. I wish I knew but I usually stick to the normal boring stuff the only thing I would suggest is Chef Paul Prudhommes Meat Magic and Old Bay seasoning... they are both natural no funny stuff. Dont know if they carry it at either of those stores tho.

I was on rx trokkies before...but considering the cost i thought i would give the pellets a try! From what I understand it really is just depending on your body's preference! But there was enough positive for me to give it a try!

Hi ladies!

Today is my first day on P3 and... is it just me or is P3 almost harder than P2? At least with P2 I knew what to eat and knew when I was cheating. This morning, I had about 2 ounces of nuts (macadamia and almonds) and then four eggs. I was going with a high fat percentage and was pretty satisfied with the foods I chose to eat. Then I read another P3 thread, which said you're not supposed to have nuts on the first day? Or eggs? Or dairy? I am so confused. I thought protocol says no starch or sugar but you're fine otherwise? I really hope today doesn't result in me gaining back all my weight tomorrow morning =/

Don't panic, I know its scary. Here's what I do, or at least try to do...
Stay away from the macadamia nuts but almonds should be ok, might wanna wait a couple days to do nuts
Almonds should be okay unless theres added sugar
eat high protein with lots of good fats
Dairy is ok for me cheese included, some stay away from it but I dont
Eggs are perfect for p3
Meats as well
low starch veggies
low glycemic fruits eg: berries
**** atkins induction style eating....
take it slow you will be okay.

HHCG - I did Intermountain Drops from netrition. I got my bottle w/in 3 days w/ regular shipping. I lost 18.5 in min 23 day round and 13.5 in following 2 rounds which were both shorter than 23 days. I was only hungry in R2 b/c I didn't load properly, other rounds I was fine and loaded WELL...

Thank you!
I ditto the netrition for intermountain pellets. I used them my last round, and felt WAY better than I did on the drops. I think they can ship them overnight too. Curbed my hunger well and were really easy to use, take and carry around. Pointer; dump 3 pellets into the lid, then into your hand for dosing. You don't want to touch them. And sorry your drop wasn't bigger. That's always a disappointment. I'm w. you though, I love GY, so it's not hard for me!!

and Congrats!! I love P3!! I just follow basic Atkins induction. Many have trouble gaining too quickly, and overdo it in the beginning. I've dont that in the past. When I've been most succesful, I've taken it nice and slowly. Bacon/eggs bfast, lunchmeat and salad w/ full fat dressing lunch, and meat and LC veggie for dinner. Many who add nuts, cheese and sweeter fruits right away find themselves doing a CD on day 2 or 3. I ramped up slowly and did really well this past time. Pay attention to your calories and try not to go over your daily requirements. And remember, you will likely gain a bit the first few days, no matter what you eat. Don't panic!! Your empty insides are just refilling a bit. It'll settle back down.

My steak day failed, but still down so I'm happy. Doing a lighter day today, but not going to be overly restrictive. I had GY for bf so far, will probably have tuna salad for lunch, and may do eggs for dinner. Although I don't really want any more eggs after my CD earlier this week. May do my other steak instead, since I never got it in yesterday .

Theresa-I'm almost jealous you'll be back to losing next week. It's so addictive seeing the scale go down. Once I'm in the groove I dont' mind the diet, it's the psychological aspect of deprivation that gets to me!

Tonya-Mexican? that's a toughie!! The chips, the chips!! Guacamole it so yummy. I have small peices of chips w. lots of guac!! And fajitas w/o the tortilla. In P4 a few chips are ok in my book .

Natasha- on your losses!! Glad it went well!!

On the exercise front : plugging away w. the running. Feels good now, not sore after (stretching faithfully!) and can see I'm getting stronger. I'm managing to squeeze it in so far. Only 3 30min sessions a week, I should be able to make time for that!! and it's not hurting the scale anymore either!!

Thank you for the reply and great input in regard to the pallets and reference! I think I am going to give the pallets a try from the website the 2 of you have recommended! I can't afford to delay my plan as I have a specific window of 30 clear days to proceed with P2.

Keep losing/maintaining ladies --may the scale be nice to all of us ;-)
