Good morning all.
Thanks for starting new thread. Here I am R3P2D12. I broke rules yesterday with diet soda, fat free half and half, goji berries, extra wasa bread, and like 4 almonds. I'm up .6 now. I had a migraine yesterday, and I was so emotional, depressed, and my inhibitions were low because of pain medicine. Yesterday sucked!! 11 days more. I can do this. I want this to be my last round. I did not cheat at ALL in my last 2 rounds. FOCUS FOCUS FOCUS I can do this for 11 days. Happy mindful eating everyone. |

I lost 0.4 yesterday, after being the same weight for 3 days in a row.
I did not have such a good week this past week, I was only down 2.4 pounds for the week. I hope to do better this week. I stayed on protocol the two weeks and didn't cheat. Today is VLCD 15. I did start eating ground Bison about a week ago, and I am wondering if that stalled me. There are conflicting calorie counts for that online. I decided to go with 2.8 oz portions now instead of 3.5 oz to see if that will make a difference in my chili recipe that I have for lunch everyday. |

I stayed the same this morning. But I did have a non scale victory on Saturday. I needed a formal dress for an event at the end of this month. I went to the Women's area at Dillards and she sent me back over to Misses! She said she didn't think I would fit in the Women's sizes. HA!!! Whoooo HOooo! And in fact I got into dress size 16's in Misses! Yeah! No more shopping in the Plus Size department for me. Gosh that felt great!!! Now, tomorrow if the scale will just move down more.... Finally broke my plateau, though I'm almost a little bummed as another day of no progress would have been my signal to get off of P2. I was at 172.4-8 for over a week, even an apple day didn't help, and finally I got to 170.6 this morning. I has to spend the entire weekend cooking for my daughter's birthday and Easter, and it was pretty much pure torture. To get through it I had three bites of sweet potato and an extra hard boiled egg that cracked while decorating, but honestly I don't even consider that a treat, it was necessary to not stuff my face with cake and ham!
I haven't taken my injection today and am still considering skipping it and transitioning off the VLCD, as it is VLCD25 now and I've had a heck of a week... But the temptation to get to my goal this round, while I still have a little hCG serum left, is awfully tempting. I keep vascillating back and forth with this.

Should I play Devil's advocate? Should I ask questions - or are your questions rhetorical?
One thing we do is ask: "Six months from now, what will I be happy that I did when I look back?" "What fits best into the big picture?" A week is a long time - and I totally get your quandary. Glad you're here! |

I know I have caved when it was my kids' birthdays (there are 3 birthdays within 14 days of each other ) so I am so impressed with you!!!! As far as the hcg, what I would do if it were me is I would do the hcg until it was gone. I know once you mix the Rx, you have to use it or it loses potency easily. That is my suggestion though. You do what you have to!! |

![]() ![]() My family would NOT like me either at 6 a.m. when we are doing chores and getting ready for catching the bus w/o my coffee! ![]() ![]() Day 6 today. Yesterday I weighed and 5. something down in the first 5 days. So back in the 150's again. I'm still using hhcg and still exercising.. .did 2 aerobic miles today.. felt fatigue but not bad. Now I'm eating my apple and taking some potassium! Hubby decided to do a quicky 21 day round with me. He has had a LOT of travel, stress, poor sleep, etc since his last round ended Jan 29 which has caused a 15 pound gain. Not bad and YES he could get it off with a bunch of CD's... but he has been doing 2 CD's a week b/c of his crazy schedule and the gains and it tired of correcting so he wants to re-set again. This will be his third round. He starts VLCD 1 tomorrow. It will be nice to have him with me through this round.... he'd done 2 others with me too. He will not doubt hit goal if not less than goal in the 21 days, so he might have to increase calories if he gets to the point where he is starving.

Shirley, that's so nice to have your hubby doing a P2 with you. I travel a lot too and waited several months for a time when I could be home - (well - the first 5 days were on the road, actually, then the easy part). Men seem to lose so fast! Never ceases to amaze me.
Dawn: I threw the FF half and half down the drain. 3 days of yo yoing in the same pound, and I don't wanna mess around any more! Zappos came today. With some size 6, (vanity) Jag jeans. YYYIIIPPPEEEEEEE!!!! To me, NOTHING feels better thin than a pair of skinny jeans. Oh! And my son came over and told me I look skinny. Made my whole day. I have NINE more days left. I will need an incredible degree of focus to remain loyal to protocol and work off these last 5 pounds in 9 days. I was thinking of starting my own thread to assist in the effort - just not sure. So glad to have you all here! Happy mindful eating! |

Well, down 2.4 lbs overnight!! Love the first week back on plan!!
Have a lovely day everyone!!! Red--I tried a week on P2 with no coffee to see if that was giving me slower losses. What I missed out on was a week with no coffee LOL. I lost no faster without it, so I decided to keep it in my P2. But we are all individuals. If I thought something was tripping me up, I would drop it in a heartbeat, as with the coffee. Good luck to you!! I am sure you are going to do well this last week!!!

Down 1.2 pounds today. Weight loss so far is 11.4 pounds which puts me at an average loss of 0.7 lbs per day, so I'm really not doing that bad.
I'm on VLCD day 16. I'm still planning to do a long round - 40 days. I used to be a big time coffee drinker but have since switched to tea to get off the caffeine. I do have one cup a day with 1 T Milk (blech), but I plan to get back on it in P3. Last edited by gina2328; 04-10-2012 at 04:43 AM.. |

I really think you can do the 5 lbs in 9 days, no problem. I love ZAPPOS for their shoes, but I have bought their clothes also. What a nice compliment from your son! I can't wait until the day I can wear skinny jeans. |

Good morning all!!
Day 4 on stuck on same pound - bumping up and down .2-.4. FRUSTRATING! I have decided to get and stay perfectly strict. No deviations! And to put in as much easy exercise as I can. Today I spent some considerable time researching how to have energy. My energy is sort of lower than average anyway - hypothyroid, past health problems, etc. Here is what I came up with: ~Be sure to take vitamins, esp B complex and L-Carnatine ~Coffee is fine ~Get the B12 in! ~Plenty of rest NINE days to go. FIVE more pounds lost is what I want. sigh NINE days. I can do this. |

Hi everyone, thinking good thoughts for you all, and admiring your resolve (especially Dawn - giving up coffee for a week! I drink tea myself and I think I would be really crabby w/ out it!) and RSJ - 9 days will go by in a flash. You can do it. Everyone else I wish for a Woosh!
I am R2VLCD3 today. 135.8, 134.4. 134.4. It isn't that easy to get back into protocol! I was just accustomed to eating more i think. I had a lot of lettuce with my measly chicken last night. Great day guys, let's keep busy! |

Dawn & Gina... WTG!!!
![]() You happy losers!! ![]() ![]() Reds --- WAHOO on the skinny Jeans!! ![]() AND hang in there.... B 12 might do wonders for you! Moonriver --- TOTALLY get it!!! I have to be REALLY careful because no matter how much I try to NOT be bothered by the scale... I AM!! That is why I am NOT weighing daily this round and I really think it is helping me. Beezy-----IMO transitioning from your first phase 3/4 to phase 2 again is the HARDEST round! I personally love phase 3/4 and my 2nd round I had a REALLY hard time transitioning back to phase 2. Felt very deprived and yucky. Hang in there!!! ![]() As for me.. didn't weigh today.. I might tomorrow. I'm still feeling really good and still exercising. Off to do my weights and aerobic mile right now... Toodles! |

I've blogged about my issues extensively the past few days, but long story short my husband and I decided what we wanted to do with weight loss, pregnancy and the like, and decided that I had few enough doses left that with his help to minimize my stress I am just going to out my head down and sprint out the round. It will be a struggle to make it without cheating but I know I can do it, I'm just in focused training mode at this point. It looks like I have one, maybe two, injections left, so the end is near (as of this morning!).
Fortunately my weight is cooperating now that ovulation is over and I am 169.4 today. This means new progress pictures will be taken for me, which is always exciting. |

Ok... I'm SO stressed out!!! Today every 2 minutes since 3:30 the boys have been fighting and screaming... I cannot take any more of it. AHHHHHHH! I'm so ready to stuff the lovely peanut butter chocolate chip cookies I made for the boys lunches into MY FACE!!! BAD BAD BAD!!!! Ok... gonna go make butter and try to make it through until bed without caving. Told hubby that if we do not come up with a PLAN for these boys to stop fighting and aggravating each other I WILL have a heart attack due to stress before my next birthday!!!!

Winters - AWESOME! Good work!
Shirley - Sorry - that's a lot of stress! How are you doing now? As for me - I completed the day on program. I worked out - 15 min cardio and 15 min with weights. Very moderate. Then I had a productive day, and the hunger wasn't too bad. AND I HAD ENERGY!! Yaaaay! I went and got some L-Carnatine, but I am not sure if it was that or not. (too quick?) Anyway, it was delightful to have energy all day and not feel like a wrung out dish-rag like usual. Tomorrow, if I don't lose, it'll be the 5th day at this weight - and I'll be up the crazy tree. EIGHT MORE DAYS!! |

Yaaaay!! It's interesting, isn't it, how some days, (that was Sunday for me), are so hard, and some go buy fast without much problem? Today I had a great workout, good energy, everything went smoothly. And I have no idea why it was different. Just hope tomorrow can be the same and I don't feel like a truck hit me, or I need to sleep, or I'll mug a passer by for a slice of pizza! |

Finally done making butter... the 3 hour project yielded 5 1/2 pounds of gorgeous deep yellow butter (raw, organic from our cows). Tomorrow I have another 4 gallons of cream to churn.
And about 3 more on Thursday. I won't be surprised if almost every day this week I'll be making butter. The girls are LOVING being out on grass again and their milk output has almost doubled as a result! . I used 2 quarts today to make tapiocca for the kids.. the real kind. It calls for milk but I used cream instead. Well.... I did NOT cave into the peanut butter chocolate chip cookies and milk... instead I did have 3 melba's... BAD BAD BAD!!! BUT I did not have a fruit tonight. So instead of 2 ... my total was 4 melba's for the day. Then I topped it off with my FAVORITE... peppermint patti tea (mint tea with equal amounts of vanilla cream & chocolate stevia )... and made it through until bed time! Off to bed.............I was planning to weigh tomorrow but... welll... maybe I still will... we'll see. |
