Just a quick note then I'm off to do some grocery shopping for P3 which starts tomorrow. I'm up a whole pound this morning! grumble, grumble, grumble. If the Rx HCG I was injecting lost it's potency towards the end, will I still be able to stabilize? I have a trip scheduled next week and for 3 days will have little control over meals, except the friends I'll be with know I'm diabetic, and low carb. That is why I needed to be in P3 before I leave. If I have trouble stabilizing, can I jump back into P2 after the trip or do I need to finish three full weeks of P3 and another of P4? I only have one vial left of Rx, so don't want to mess this up.

Welcome to the returnees/ newbies. I'll check back later today. Have a great one, folks.

Down .6 today, so I'm pretty happy. I'd really love to have whole pounds release, especially this early on, but it's better than a gain!!

Cold and rainy here. I need to have coffee, exercise and get ready for work early, since I anticipate more traffic than usual. We don't know how to drive in the rain here in So. Cal!! LOL!!

One thing I've noticed lately, I'm so cold!! I know people have mentioned this on low cal diets, but it's so weird when the hot flashes happen!!! I get really cold, then really hot, then really cold again!! One good thing is that the hot flashes seem to be getting less frequent. There for a while I was having them every hour, day and night!!

Brigit, I'm looking forward to some of the veterans answering your question about jumping back into P2. I was thinking of taking some "maintenance breaks" between 21 day rounds of P2. I thought I'd do the 2 days no pellets (still on 500 cals) then do a week of P3-style eating, then a 1 day mini-load and back for another 21 days. I still haven't fully committed to this idea. My other option might be to keep on P2 as long as I'm having decent weight release, up to 40 days, then do a proper P3. P4 mystifies my since I don't eat grains or legumes or much fruit or sugar. Not exactly sure how it will differ from P3. One thing I WILL add in P4 is sweet potato, but very carefully. Oops, I'm getting ahead of myself!! LOL!!

Thanks Cheryl! I've missed being here.

Down 1.8 today. I'm eating extra protein just like I did last time and so far so good. Was super hungry yesterday despite the extra protein, plenty of water, and tea. Am thinking about adding some bulk like cabbage. Chinese chicken salad sounds yummy...

My hcg patches shipped yesterday and im super excited to be free from drops. Woohoo!

Have a great day, y'all!

Cheryl, thanks for the personals! Your hypnosis story made me giggle. Hope the farm job works out. Should be good for burning the old calories a any rate.

Took drops this morning using strict adherence to no water, etc. 15 minutes before and after. Loading today! Gotta love the loading!! I have leftovers from dinner last night that was fabulous (will not torture you all with details!!).

I can still feel a tiny knot where the implant was put in, but I hope it is just about worn off.

I recommend all to go to Youtube and look up Louise Hay videos. She is a wonderful teacher and there are videos of affirmations that anyone can use to help heal your life.

I can change. I love and forgive freely. I love and accept myself.

Have a beautiful day!

I can do this farm job. I can be done a few hours early. I can get paid for more hours than I'm actually scheduled to work. I will not get injured. I will find something better that is closer to home. I will.

Hehehe! Thanks for the tip on the Youtube lady. Sounds like a good video.

Have a wonderful round, Sue!

hi guys! lots of new faces! welcome!

real quick - i've been maintaining perfectly for the past 1 1/2 weeks, and guys let me tell you I have been eating lots of crap. I've had a slice of pizza one day, Cadbury eggs galore...some chips one day...It seems I love to push it to see how far I can go, but I need to stop before an all out binge occurs because from there its hard coming back. I did do a CD on Easter Monday just 'cuz, I didn't even weigh myself to see what I gained from Easter, and as of today I'm in the 136's.

So, a clean P3 from here until probably next Monday (lots of plans this weekend so don't wanna push dieting then) and then I'm going for the last 7 pounds. I've changed my mind about 125, I think that's too thin for my frame. So, my goal is 129! (I wanna see the 120's so bad, but realistically 130-131 will probably be my maintenance point.)

Wow, Erin! You wild thing, you. Rolling the dice, 'eh? That's my girl.

I went to the orientation at the therapy farm and it was an eye-opening experience. It helped me to let go of the notion that I was ready to be a Leader in the therapy lessons, at least this session. We practiced tacking the horses, leading and side-walking. Also leading them up to the mounting ramp which is trickier than it looks.

It was dinner time and these horses have schedules to keep. I guess I've been too nice a person with these horses and they don't see me as a strong energy. So, I told them that I wouldn't be involved in the therapy classes this year and I'd just stick to my Tuesday pm barn duty shift (like the girls that work that night and we aren't tripping over each other.) Then I'll help the office lady on a floating-day-basis (she said she won't be in the office next week! Yahooo! Neither will I! Just in time to do my taxes and start doing the farm job for pay. )

So I couldn't help myself. I wrote her back and said, "Bummer! Just kidding." I hope she takes that the right way.

I see now that I have to pay my dues in Bethlehem and that, even though it will be tremendously hard for a while, I will grow by leaps and bounds. It will speed-up my marketability anywhere I go. You have to start somewhere and I know where that is.

Turns out that the woman who runs the program knows the woman I'm going to be working for. Not too thrilled about that. They each know of each other and it could turn out that things get spoken of between them, about me. Wish I'd kept my mouth shut now.

Computer troubles continue. Going on a week now. Just what I need, right? On a good note, I found out what renter's insurance will cost me per month, even with a high-enough liability coverage for the hot tub. Just $17/per month! Now if I want to shell-out the $700 it will take to move it over there and buy a pad to place it on, then get it hooked up to power (no clue what that will cost,) then I can keep my hot tubby.

WHERE THE HECK IS EVERYONE THIS WEEK? It's crazy! Feels like a perpetual weekend around here. I miss you guys! All my threads have screetched to a halt. I feel LONELY.

I made a big decision tonight. I sold the hot tub. It's not a done-deal but I'm pretty sure it will go through. Say a prayer, please! I will miss it but who knows how much more life is left in it? It's time to let it go and make my move much more simple and less-expensive.

I'll still be able to have my firepit and stuff at the new place. Plenty to look forward to. Nite! Off to bed I go.

Congratulations!! I hope you soon feel the free feeling of letting go and preparing to receive whatever the Universe has in store!

10 days under my belt, and almost 10lbs. OUT from under my belt, lol!!

I'm very pleased with this round so far, and I'm really excited to see what the next 11 days hold for me. I keep going back and forth in my head...short round, long round, wait and see.

I'm still dealing with "head" hunger. It's just really different to not eat all the time. Also, I seem to always be thinking about food. When is the next meal, what did I eat so far? I'm always pep-talking myself...you feel fine, you're not hungry, you have energy. I'm hoping that as the days go by I can let go of some of this.

It is sooo quiet, star. I'm missing Mini and the other regulars!! Hope they're well and come back soon!!

This will be quick since the yard guy is due here any moment and I need to work along side him if I want to keep any plants at all!

Weight is stable this morning. Hope to lose yesterday's pound, but since I've decided definitely to do another round, I'm not going to sweat it.

Purchased the ingredients for Lynn's chocolate yesterday and made two batches this morning, one with pecans and one without. I've really missed my chocolate, and licking out the bowl was heavenly! I have a pork roast and a chicken in the oven and plan on pigging out on both. I will keep calories to 1000 today and tomorrow, then increase by 200 every two days. That way by the time of my trip, I'll be up to what I hope will be stabilization calories: between 1600-1800.

More later, as I just heard yard guy's truck pull up.

Woooohoooooo! Done is good! So are Wings during the Play-offs! Stay on top of your CD's and do them whenever you need to get below that LDW. When you are that close to the dreaded 200 lbs, you don't have a lot of room for error. You don't EVER want to see a "2" again. I know you'll do great!

I PM'd Mini yesterday but not a word. It's like we've been abandoned. No clue what happened to poor Paula after those tornadoes. Mini is likely swamped with things to do, yet she's always found time (lots of time!) for us. Melanie hasn't been here in ages, etc. I don't know if they are just busy or if we should be concerned. I don't like it one bit!

10 lbs in 10 days !!!! I'm really sorry you are struggling so much with head hunger. Do you mind if I ask what you're eating and drinking? How many calories are you allowing per day? Still doing the MF meal replacements or have you run out of those yet? You might just need a little higher calorie allotment each day.

Yes, I'm glad I sold the hot tub. I know it was the right thing to do, though I always have trouble in the "deciding" part. Once I've finally decided and let it go, I'm fine. Next I have to figure out when to list my refrigerator/freezer for sale! What will I use if it sells a couple weeks before I move? Maybe I can get a really ratty one to replace it with, just so I'm not living out of coolers and buying bags of ice every day. Best case scenario would be the person who comes to get mine would also bring me one of theirs and I'd pay them $100 or so for that one.

Bethlehem today at 2 pm. Will see what my one mid-week afternoon will be like. That's just bringing the horses back into their stalls and giving them their night time feed and hay. Doing a bit of "dusting off", as the owner says. They only get really groomed about every two days. When it's particularly muddy or snowy, all hooves must be done, of course. And they have blankets that they wear in the cold. Won't need to deal with those for a while!

Found out yesterday that I will be able to start moving boxes in on the 24th and I can get a set of keys. I told her I had second thoughts about my plans to paint the bedroom. I just don't think I'll have the energy for that! Too much else going on. But this way I can do the final measurements and know exactly where things will go and get the kitchen cupboards filled up with my goodies. I can bring stuff up into the attic, too.

The carpets will be cleaned that last week sometime so I have to stay out of the carpeted areas as much as possible. But at least I can "trickle in."

There sure has been a lot of earth quake activity lately! An 8.6 in Sumatra and dozens more smaller ones, then a large one in Mexico on the west coast, and one that looks near Mini but could be Oregon. I hope that has nothing to do with where Mini has gone to.

Ladies, (all two of you!) have a wonderful day. I will be back after my farm experience. Hope it goes well.

PS: Down a couple lbs today!

I'm down 1.6 today and am pretty darn surprised! I dabbled in making choco d yesterday and had a piece equalling about a tablespoon (have never done that on HCG). I know that in general my body responds well to coconut oil, but a couple hours later, I had ten (yes, you read that right) chicken wings from our favorite hot wing place. I had mine "naked" without any sauce but thought for sure if I lost anything it would be mere ounces. I was the chicken wing queen on my first round, but IIRC, could only eat about six and still lose. I'm pretty darn happy right now. And no, I won't make that a regular outing. LOL

On the topic of choco d/cocoa crack/whatever...I really dislike the texture of coconut oil. After many years of force feeding myself the stuff because of (noticeable) health benefits, it just makes me gag. The recipe I used was 1 T cocoa to 4 T VCO. I'm wondering if increasing my cocoa and VCO ratio to 1:1 would be better... I'm kind of thinking out loud, but if anyone has any suggestions, please let me know...

Hope y'all have a great day and happy releasing! And happy stabilizing!

Protect those plants! Yard guys are too busy mowing and trimming to care about what's what out there. I have some plants to dig up and take with me, too. Must do that soon before things get too big!

Your plan (and your meals) sounds great! Very sensible.

Nice drop, Jazz! I'm not one to give advice on VCO. It bloats and stalls me. The chicken wings sound yummy. Glad you enjoyed them!

Cheryl, I'm sticking to 500 cals of meal replacements with 1T of hwc in coffee in the morning. I know, eventually I will need to take the plunge into *real* food, but I just don't feel ready yet. I almost literally have a ton of the stuff, so I will be using it for some time. However, I have plans to start subbing a *real meal* in the evening after I complete 21 days. That way I'll have the quick convenience of the meal replacements for work, and start practicing creating healthy meals.

I don't think I want to increase calories yet, since I finally have my "growlies" under control. Dosing seems fine. It's just a matter of getting my head straight and re-thinking when head hunger happens.

Hey girls!! I'm around. I'm supposed to be packing!!

I'm enjoying P3/P4 and back in window after really pushing it this weekend. Still "running" and definitely getting used to it again. Not as sore or exhausted from it now. Careful to stretch afterwards, but encouraged!

Cheryl-glad you sold the tub. Bittersweet, I'm sure. I need to sell a bunch of stuff too, and can't quite get going w. it. I'm doing a yard sale next Fri/Sat. We're losing our "playroom" and my girls are growing up, so we're getting rid of lots of toys, kids furniture, clothes, shoes etc. Also some furniture (dd's daybed, dresser, extra hutches, etc). Sigh.

Lynne-good job!!

Star- to P3!! Enjoy!!

Jazzle-nice to see you again!! Glad it's going well!!

anyone I missed!! Off to get the day started!!

Loading Day # 2 in progress. Hard to enjoy it, though. I feel guilty about every bite. Not in as good a place today. Not enough sleep, some criticism at work.

I love and accept myself. It is okay to make mistakes. My life is unfolding perfectly to teach me the lessons I am here to learn.

Here's my thoughts. The companies that make processed foods spend billions of dollars on Scientists who work in Laboratories trying to create "flavor enhancers" to make things taste better than they really should if they were more natural. Those flavor enhancers make you want to eat more. Head hunger. Instead of eating one fat-free cookie, you want the entire box. I think they really do this stuff with the foods that are marketed to be "good for you" or for weight loss.

So, you eat this stuff that you think is good for you as far as losing weight but all the while, you are undermining yourself but feeding these chemicals into your body that are literally messing with you head! Stimulating hormones and responses that make you want to eat more, even when you're not at all physically hungry.

I say cut those things down to once a day and see how you feel after eating one of those meals as opposed to having your morning coffee with cream or a regular dinner in the evening. I'll bet you'll see a direct response.

Nice to see you! Glad you came by to throw us a bone. It sucks selling so many things. It's hard to get even a fraction of what something is worth. I'm in the same boat, sweetie. God bless you as you go through the things that have sentimental value to you. Remember, it's all just "stuff." The real treasures are going with you when you move.

I feel ya. I used to hate that when I was working as a nurse. You do 1000 things right or better than right and one thing wrong and that's all you hear about. Who came up with these rules about governing their employees? Seems it's designed to just bring you down and suck the life out of you.

I love and accept you. It's okay for you to make mistakes. Your life is unfolding perfectly to teach you the lessons you are here to learn.

Cheryl, thank you for your comments!! I guess I'm a little stubborn, I feel like I need to see my plan out, at least for a little while longer. If the worst thing is a little false hunger, then I'll figure out a way to deal with it.

Hi guys! I'm around and I've been reading. I'm just busy. Huge federal review this week at work. It's been very intense around work for about 3 weeks now. Going through some things at home as well. More later, I promise! My weight has been stable until last week when I went up to 144 and it won't budge. Ok it'll get down a pound or two then go right back up. I know its stress and ovulation but I don't like it one bit! I'm hoping once this week is over I'll settle back down to 138-140 which is where I like to be!

Gotta get kids to bed and go for a run. Today is my 15th wedding anniversay. No congrats please. It's been a stressful day at work then came home to a fight with DH. I've been planning to leave him for a month or so now and having to listen to all the congrats on facebook and my family calling has been tough. I don't want the admiration of all the years we've been together when I've been pretty miserable most of them.

Great to see others chiming in here -- welcome back. As to the regulars, good to see you doing so well. I think Lynn is our poster child of the week! Great going on the consistent weight loss.

Well, my first P3 day was "interesting" to say the least! I roasted a wild hog fresh ham and a chicken. Took the chicken out first and just started nibbling whilst standing at the stove -- first the wings, then the drumsticks. It was delish! When the roast was done I pulled off the top fat layer and ate that -- the dog insisted on having his part, so I didn't get it all! Then later I moved onto the Lynn's chocolate. Other than a couple of handfuls of mulberries off the tree in the afternoon and a half dozen raw snow peas right off the plants, all I ate was protein and fat. Oh, my! Today I will mend my wicked ways and eat more balanced, but fresh fat was so good after a month of not having any.

The electric week wacker died yesterday so I'm off to town to buy another one. This time I'm spending a bit more money and getting one with a more powerful engine and stouter string, as they tend to last me until just out of warranty. Then I'll probably spend an hour or so getting some exersize in the weed patch! I'll check back in later and read of all your successes!

Well, I'd be untruthful if I said I wasn't disappointed by my lack of release this morning!! Grrrr!! Hoping this means I'm in for a happy dance tomorrow!!

Nothing special happening today, coffee, exercise, work, home. Should be a very busy day at work, which makes me happy!! (busy=$)
