WOE: Lowish carb (formerly on Protein Power)
Losing weight whilst on P3?

A bit of history -- slightly rogue in that I mix veggies and added zucchini, broccoli, and green beans (but only 2-3 times a week) and occasionally ff Greek yogurt.
Week 1 loss: 6 lbs. (not counting loading weight)
Week 2 loss: 2 lbs.
Week 3 loss: 0 (I keep bouncing up and down a pound -- right now I'm up.)

The experience this go-around has been so different from when I did HCG 4 years ago. Then I lost steadily throughout the round following the same plan as now. I thought if I held my ground my body would eventually give up since I'm eating between 500-600 cal a day. But it ain't happening.

So I'm thinking of transitioning to P3, but want to continue losing weight. I know Dr. S. advocates against this. Hence my question. Have any of you lost weight on P3 and stabilized OK? I know I can lose around 2 lbs. a week on Protein Power, which meets the P3 guidelines.

I really would like to hear from folks about this. Thanks.

Losing weight is not advised on P3 because it would not be that abnormal fat you are losing. It was not because of the stabilization factor. That is the reason Simeons' said to do additional rounds if you have additional weight to lose. You want your fat loss to be the right fat loss!!! I don't advocate losing in P3 at all. I suggest waiting the 3 weeks of P3 and doing it right. Then you can lose weight once the 21 days are up and you are into P4.

But to each their own. Good luck!!!!

Oh, and week 3 is a *itch isn't it???!! I hated my week #3!! If you can get past it I am sure that the weight loss will pick back up. Just hang on!!! For some *ell week is #2, for others it is week #3. Not sure why we have that week of little to no loss, but we do!!

I did not lose on P3. The only people that did that i can think of lost it the first day or two and then stabilized. I ended up averaging 2 pounds over LDW for the 6 months following my last round.
