Questions about calorie counts
I'm currently on my first round of Phase 2, on my 3rd day. Doing ok, but just counted up my calories for the day, and it looks like I've hit 365 cals today. I'm following the sample menus, omitting only the toast. Shouldn't I be getting closer to 500 cals?
For instance: today I had 200g of chicken, 1 orange, lettuce, 100g asparagus, and 5 large strawberries. I'm hungry, but I'm only on day 3, losing well but worried I should be taking in more calories for safety and best results. Any ideas? Thanks all! |

Eat your toasts or breadsticks!! I swear it helps you stabilize so you can eat complex carbs and carbs later on...I would eat more of the veggie for the day..Also I usually left my fruit for later at night....but it's only your third day and it does get better. Are you drinking your water? How was your load? Coffee also helps me with hunger

Absolutely you need to be at 500 calories!!! You wanna be careful because you are forcing yourself almost into protein deficiency and Dr. S. developed just the right formula to help you lose this weight safely!
Add more of the vegetable you choose to get on up to the 500 cals. Good luck to you!!! You are doing great!! Betty |
