P2 Simeons Protocol week of 4/1
I don't see a new thread, so I'll start this one.
I'm down another 1 lb. Yay! Got past the set point and am hoping for a good week of losses. |

Hello everyone :-)
I'm on P2 now also. On day 6. Lost loading weight, (only 3 pounds this time, I didn't want to repeat past mistakes), and 1 more pound so far. Today I have concerns that I'm not eating enough calories. I started a thread with a question about why it's a bad idea to eat too little. I feel like I have to force myself to eat, but I don't want to, and I can't remember why it's a bad idea! LOL Anyway - glad for the thread and the company! Red - working on the last ten pounds. |

Mind if I join you ladies?
I have about a week left of VLCDs before I move on to P3. I'm currently very frustrated with my weight loss. I was losing 1 pound a day my first week and now I average about 0.2-0.4 per day if I'm lucky. At this point, I'm very doubtful that I'll reach my goal weight before I move on to P3. I can't extend the round either because I have a big dinner coming up and I intend to eat P3 for it. I'm pretty sure the reason for this is that the weight I'm currently on is the same I maintained for over 2 years. I just wish I could move past it and get that whoosh I want so badly... sigh. *vent over* Last edited by Spoonful of Happiness; 04-02-2012 at 05:09 PM.. |

My second round was like that.
It's like nothing went right. I was hungry, tired, cranky, and it took me like two weeks to lose my 7 pound loading weight. Are you very near goal weight? |

I am. I am about 3 pounds away from my realistic goal and 6 pounds away from the weight I'd really really like to be but at this point probably won't be. I'm expecting a gain tomorrow too (just had an apple and chicken with spices, both of which can stall me sometimes). Oh well... can you tell that I'm ready to be done with P2? Lol.

We're such a lazy group of posters compared to the rogues
![]() I stayed about the same as yesterday, 172.8. I'm due to ovulate in the next day or two so the water retention is typical for me. I'm just staying on plan, pacing myself, and taking it one day at a time |

Yep, those ladies are powerhouse of posting!
I also stayed the same, but pretty normal for me. Hoping for another drop tomorrow. Did drop an INCH off my hips -- very happy with that! |

![]() As for me, I'm down a half pound today to 172.4. Weight is being slow and kind of stubborn but I did a hard workout yesterday and an ovulating so I wasn't expecting much. I'm so eager to be in the 160's, though! I can taste them, and yet just can't cross the line ![]()

Morning all!
After staying the same weight for 3 days in a row, I finally dropped a pound. I am SUCH a slow loser! But I suppose it's good - because it forces me to take phase 3 and 4 so seriously that I don't mess up and gain. Woke up and my body was SCREAMING for something to eat! It was the first time I've woken up starving. So - I fed it. But I think maybe no working out for me this morning. After a WEEK I have finally lost my 3 whole pounds of loading weight. Now I have two more weeks - and so I'm hoping for a 7 pound loss. |

0.2 gain today. It's my first gain of this round so I'm a little bummed but I'm still around my previous set point so I'm trying to be okay with it.
Yay on losing a pound, Red! How long are you planning to go? |

RedsSkinnyJeans,
1 lb, good for you! I'm a slow loser too, so I know the feeling. Luv is a fairytale, 0.2 is not that bad. You just had a good loss. So your still doing great. |

You know, for me, I can often trace a gain to salt. And if I know I ate a lot of salt, it doesn't freak me out because it's water. And water is GOOD for the body! I want as much water in my body as possible, because the body loves to be hydrated. But - at the same time, I know it totally sucks to see a gain. We assume it's fat. Or we're bigger.
I am doing a 3 week round this time. Hoping for a big whoppin' 7 pound loss. Isn't that funny? All of this for 7 pounds - but that's the only way I can lose weight. I just have to make sure I'm really smart when I'm done. I'd like to not have to repeat this! |

Hi - Thought I'd POP in and let ya'll know that I seem to be stabilizing just fine! I'm on Day 6 of P3 and my weigh ins are below. So although I stopped the drops early, I'm doing GREAT! However, I am taking everyones advice and won't stop early if I ever need do HCG again. I've been careful about what I'm eating. I went out Sat and didn't drink or have chips or tortillas at Mexican. I also avoided birthday cake and ice cream! I am going to have some almonds today. I've added dairy and that's pretty much it.
Thurs 184 LDW Fri 184 Sat 183.5 Sun ? (wasn't home) Mon 184 Tues 185 Wed 184.5 Thur 185

My body is so obviously confused.
My first weigh in this morning said 126.6 - exact same as yesterday. I wanted to double-check so I weighed again right afterwards - 125.8. I can't help but be a little suspicious that my switch from HHCG to Rx didn't go as smoothly as I had hoped and that my body is entering starvation mode =/ Oh well, I guess we'll find out soon enough. moonriver, 0.4 is amazing! Especially if TOM is due soon! Bailey's Girl, yay for an amazing P3! How many days total were you on the HCG? I am sooo ready for P3. I'm pretty sure I dreamt of almonds last night =| |

I am up .4 today I am not sure what is going on, the only veggie that I switched was going from green beans to cucumbers this week.
I will go back to eating ground beef/cauliflower for lunch and chicken/green beans for supper with a grapefruit and 2 coffee/cream each day I was losing with eating that everyday. |

Thanks for a new thread. Those 15 + page ones intimidate me so much! I can only pop in every once in a while, but love the support and encouragement we get here!
I am starting VLCD Day 1 on my second round of hcg. I lost 40 lbs on the first one (60 days), but gained 8 between phase 3 and loading. I'm not going to worry about it, but will definitely do things different next time. You are all doing so well, I'm trusting to do the same. One of my questions (although I'm pretty sure it is answered somewhere on here) is how does your brain catch up to your weight loss? Is there anything you can do to help? And do you tell everyone you are on a diet? I have issues with that, but didn't know if maybe that would help? Only my family knows at this point, and with winter and the fact that I can't afford to run and get new clothes yet, no-one else has noticed or said anything. Not that I'm expecting praise - I've been wearing jackets and stuff. Do you know what I mean? Or am I just a fruitcake! I mean, I'm doing this for my health and my life (and my daughters wedding in June). Any observations would be appreciated. Thanks! |

Haha, whoops! That probably wouldn't be a causal factor in your scale progress, then

Quick check in, ladies. I've been stalled at 172.4-8 for five or six days now, which is less than fun, but it's life! I'm working out hard and I think that is counteracting some progress on the scale, at least, because I can tell inches are going. I had my first (and only) minor cheat two days ago after a perfect storm of hunger and stress happened upon a jam making session, but I was maybe 100 calories extra with the cheat and it wasn't a food with fat content (pectin and some sugar/strawberries) and so as much I'd like to blame the OP moment of weakness I actually think I was just due for a stall and readjustment, since I have been losing so well.
Still getting ovulation signals, which would also point to water retention, in addition to working out hard. If I am still at this weight by Saturday I'm doing an apple day, but right now I'll be patient and content myself with much looser clothing. 21 days down, about another 10 to go! |

Love - For my first 2 rounds of HCG I did the entire 23 VLCD but this time I only did 19ish VLCD so I pretty much stopped 3 days early. I wasn't losing and I had just had enough mentally! Of course, it's not recommended to stop early. Keep going, you can do it!
