I had my first (and only) minor cheat two days ago after a perfect storm of hunger and stress happened upon a jam making session, but I was maybe 100 calories extra with the cheat and it wasn't a food with fat content (pectin and some sugar/strawberries) and so as much I'd like to blame the OP moment of weakness I actually think I was just due for a stall and readjustment, since I have been losing so well.

Still getting ovulation signals, which would also point to water retention, in addition to working out hard. If I am still at this weight by Saturday I'm doing an apple day, but right now I'll be patient and content myself with much looser clothing.

21 days down, about another 10 to go!
That's not good, have you considered an apple day it is supposed to get things moving again or having 1/5 canteloupe with a glass of water before you go to bed at night it is supposed to help break a stall.

Oh, it's fine! I have lost 16 pounds in 21 days, which is ahead of the curve for a woman. Between that and ovulating, as well as working out hard each day, I was totally due for a stall. I'll do an apple day if I'm still stalled in a few days, but until I drop an egg (I'm due tonight or tomorrow at the latest) and complete ovulation, I'm retaining water and no amount of apples will help.

I am still losing fat right now, it's obvious in my clothes, it just isn't showing on the scale thanks to the hormones and workout. Thus, no real stall to break

I'm a strict protocol girl so I'd never do cantaloupe, and I've only just entered the window for doing an apple day, so I'm not in a big hurry.

It happens! I had two days the same weight right after loading, of all times! When our bodies shed the weight can be finicky, but the protocol is first about metabolic repair, the weight loss is really secondary.

I just want to encourage you to stick to it and not get disheartened!

I am starting VLCD Day 1 on my second round of hcg. I lost 40 lbs on the first one (60 days), but gained 8 between phase 3 and loading. I'm not going to worry about it, but will definitely do things different next time. You are all doing so well, I'm trusting to do the same.

One of my questions (although I'm pretty sure it is answered somewhere on here) is how does your brain catch up to your weight loss? Is there anything you can do to help? And do you tell everyone you are on a diet? I have issues with that, but didn't know if maybe that would help? Only my family knows at this point, and with winter and the fact that I can't afford to run and get new clothes yet, no-one else has noticed or said anything. Not that I'm expecting praise - I've been wearing jackets and stuff. Do you know what I mean? Or am I just a fruitcake! I mean, I'm doing this for my health and my life (and my daughters wedding in June). Any observations would be appreciated. Thanks!
I think it takes a while for our brains to catch up to a lot of weight loss. I was 235 last year and now 160, but I did hit 146 at the end of my last round. Anyway, I still fear looking in the mirror and seeing the old me, especially if I'd have "treats" or eat a lot while in phase 3 or 4... I'd FEEL like I was a balloon and like I was going to see the old me in the mirror instead of the new me. In my opinion what you are experiencing is normal.

This morning I was down 0.8 lb. So far I have lost 9.8 lbs and I am starting day 12 of VLCD.

I did lose 7.8 lbs the first week, and 2 lbs so far the second week.
Hopefully the rest of the week will pick up a bit. But I think I have done pretty well so far.

According to my scale, I reached my goal weight of 125 today.
I want to celebrate but I'm having a hard time believing it so I'm going to wait until tomorrow's weigh in to officially call it.

So glad to see everyone else losing so well! Look at us losers!

Happy Saturday!

Three days, down a pound. Three days, down another. Takes me 3 days to work through each pound. Fun fun fun.

But I'm in my last 5 pounds. And everything is a trade off. And I pick this. I have 2 1/2 more weeks. I can last.

Yesterday I ran into a wall. I had NO energy in the afternoon. And I wasn't smart enough to just EAT. Then, after WASTING the entire afternoon, I had dinner, and could finally clean, and produce something. Dont' want to do that again. I wasted about 6 hours. Dumb. I needed that production time.

Today I am after ENERGY. yep, while on P2. I'm going to juice up some green veggies, and add one apple. I love the idea of flooding the body with nutrients - just have to watch the calories.

You are so close to the end! My weight tends to hold, hold, then drop, sometimes three days too. But it does come off so I ain't griping!

Thank you all sooooo much for the congrats! I honestly would not be here had it not been for everyone's support! Honestly, I could only do this because you all are such an inspiration!

I weighed in at 123.8 this morning - that's a loss of 1.2 pounds since yesterday and I don't want to sound ungrateful, but I'm a little concerned. I can't imagine why I'd be dropping so much weight so late in my round (6 VLCDs left) and can't help but think that my Rx HCG has stopped working and I've entered starvation mode = fast drop in weight.

Reason HCG's working: I'm not hungry. I eat the same thing I've eaten for the past 21 days and I'm only hungry when I haven't eaten in hours. I eat my normal meals and everything's fine.

Reason HCG's stopped working: Last night was terrible. I wanted to throw up and was close to collapsing. I realized that I had just had two pieces of chicken all day so I had a nice, big apple and I've been fine since.

I want to stop taking HCG asap if my body has entered starvation mode because I know how difficult it would be for me to stabilize. Does anyone have any opinions? I'd really like to know what I should do! Thank you all for being amazing!

I do not think you are in starvation mode according to what you wrote your body simply needed more food last night. It would be wise for you to eat all the allotted foods. If you end up starting to get hungry or weak then do what Dr. S says, increase your protein and veggies/fruits/starch so that you are consuming about 800 calories a day until you reach 21 effective dose days then transition maintaining that 800 calories of hcg allowed foods through the 72 hours of clearing.

Dr. S tells us that hunger is the sign of immunity or when all the abnormal fat weight loss is done that and extreme weakness. You did experience weakness... BUT you had only eaten two servings of protein. Your body told you to feed it and you did and were fine! Good job!

BIG Congrats for reaching your goal!!

I lost 0.4 yesterday, after being the same weight for 3 days in a row.

I did not have such a good week this past week, I was only down 2.4 pounds for the week. I hope to do better this week.

Stayed on protocol the entire week and didn't cheat.
