OH! And I am down 1.2 with my egg day. Not great, but I'll take it. I will be eating normal P3 today since I have a party to go to, but I may do a steak day on Monday.

Glad your egg day got you down some! I don't mind eggdays on work days, I just eat scrambled twice with hot sauce, nut they suck on the weekends! Enjoy the

Very happy I'm 2 weeks in P3 now, and have yet to see LDW! Can't believe I'm actually doing it, and it's working!!!

AWESOME on the stability for TWO weeks on p3!!! How????? I've had a correction day each week and will do a much lighter day w/ lots of water today!

I have to make my decision today whether I'm doing hhcg or rx

I know balancing fat and protein grams works for most on here, but it was a disaster for me, I just kept gaining. This time I'm keeping protein around 85g, looks like 70% fat, 15% carb, 15% protein. Found this on another forum, and it's been a blessing for me. Haven't seen ldw since last day of pellets, seem to be 120-120.6 everyday (ldw121.4). The only time I went up even close was after eating out and drinking Friday, and that was still below ldw, and back down today.

I always use hhcg, couldn't afford RX, or a Dr.
I've been very happy with it, no hunger either round. I'm sure you'll figure out what's best for you! Hope you have a beautiful Sunday!

hmmm, i usually wind up close to 75/20/5 for the day. I wonder if I am going over somehow somewhere in my calculations. I don't want to cut it down too much...don't want to gain from not eating enough. I don't do a lot of cheese...usually 1 oz in the am w/ my bacon and eggs/avo. Now I do love me some co crack and my hwc in my coffee....i COULD forgo the hwc...but i sure would HATE to!

I really want to try the hhcg...i mean if i find it isn't working i would always go to the dr. right? do a stall or something? Not sure how that works! I had NO hunger the first round and so little cravings it was negligible! I could use the savings for the move!!!

I thought about doing a steak day...but wanted brunch! So two fried eggs in butter, leftover steak, avocado and cheddar cheese. HOLY AMAZEBALLS (for sunny! ) it was awesome..but too much food! lol

Theresa- Don't cut the calories! I'm eating nearly what you are, at 120 lbs. (no exercise) 2000 - 2250 cals. I really thing this is ONLY b/c I'm eating 70% fat, 15% carb, 15% protein. If your doing ok with crack, it shouldn't be a problem. HWC? I usually have to have around 7 T at night (whipped up on GY or mug cake) to get my fat up. YMMV but it's been a blessing for me.

As far as RX? Only you can decide what's right for you, but lots of us are happy with hhcg. Doubt it's a problem to switch over if you weren't.

UGH! I just don't feel like eating tonight! I've been drinking water all day, had a huge breakfast and nibbled on paleo ice cream as i made it and nibbled on some pork side....BUT even over guestimating the calories in my snacking....i am at 1400 for the day. I KNOW that isn't enough...but ugh! I am NOT hungry!
What would ya'll do???

Ok, major serious question for everyone:
I eat a LOT of avocados...there is almost 12 g of carbs in avocados could that be an issue???

I just realized I need to go calculate my calories needed to maintain! So glad to be in P3 although I stopped P2 a few days early and now everyone has me worried I won't stabilize in P3. YIKES!

I've done well so far avoiding margaritas, flour tortillas, cake and ice cream all on yesterday! Didn't have anything to avoid today except some garlic bread which I DID AVOID IT! Yay for me! It's my weakness too!

Ya'll have a good night and here's to hoping I stabilize! Scale doesn't lie!

Good morning! After 42 days on VLCD I finally made it to P3! Yesterday was my first day. My LDW was 227.0 yesterday morning i was 225.6 and this morning i am 226.0. I am so scared to gain weight back! So eventhough i am still a pound under LDW i am still feeling like "OH NO I GAINED" this morning.

Good morning. Don't panic, as the weeks go by your weight will fluctuate but you will begin to stabilize soon. Enjoy P3...this is the best phase of HCG if you ask me.

Happy Monday ladies!!! Well, I'm up 1.8 over my LDW, ugh . I guess I shouldn't complain since I've been doing so well. I'm trying to decide if I should do my favorite GYCD or just eat a clean P3 today.
Since my weight has been up over the weekend I decided to hold off on starting my C25K. I'll be going back on P2 in a couple of weeks anyway and won't be able to continue it then.

Kari, don't panic!! I did and was miserable for the first week of p3....heck, i still panic! lol...but don't! Just listen to your body and the girls on here...it is a figuring out process! Just do what you are supposed to be doing, eat clean, lots of water and i'm sure you will be amazing!!!!

I actually think that my blog (talked a bit on p2/p3 thread) will be a foodie (lc/paleo of course!) w. some artsy fartsy diy type repurpose stuff for my creative fun! lol...now to figure out how to make money at it!!
I have a few friends (not to brag) who are sorta well known who have very successful blogs and just the swag they get would be payment enough for me! lol...trips to nyc fashion week! I've actually met a few ppl because of them! Kelly Cutrone and Eddie Ross have been my fav!!!

I was down .2 this morning...so .4 out of my CD zone! whew!~ lol now just to keep getting those numbers DOWN! I am starting week 2 of p4....so I would love to get back below my window...saw that once! then poof! lol

Ok, mom is screaming for breakfast! lol...i'm gonna go before she eats 8lbs of pork side! lol

Welcome to P3 Kari, you'll do great! Totally normal to go up a little the first couple days, don't panic!

Sorry your up Tiffany! Just keep it clean you should
come back down. Weekends are hard, I usually gain then, and come back down all week.

Theresa- great job with P4 so far, and down on a Monday!!! A blog sounds exciting!

I'm P3D15, down .2, so 1 under LDW.

Not a good morning for me weight wise. I ate P3 yesterday and woke up to a 3.6 gain.

I did have one of those chocolate chip cookies maked from coconut and almond flour, thinking it couldn't hurt, but it's the only thing I can think of that is causing me to gain.

The other thing I had more of was cheese. Between my cauliflower pizza and dinner I had more than I usually do, but I don't think that would have caused such a drastic gain. And I double checked and I am no where near TOM.

I also had a half a small pieace (basically a tiny bite) of cocoa crack.

I am going to do an allergy test when I get to work. I needed someone to help me and it's something my mom used to do on me. I am doing a GYCD today and am pretty sure I will love the extra 3.6 like I did last time, but this up an down is driving me batty.

On the bright side, cause there always is one, I am encourgaged by my own attitude! I am going to figure this out!! There is no way I am going back to being fat. In the past, I would have just said forget it and went back to over eating, etc. I am not anywhere close to that mindset and for that I am VERY grateful!!

So, I am trying to be upbeat and attacking this issue! But dang it ticks me off!! I guess anything worth having, is worth fighting for!!

no likee on the gain!!! what have your days right before this been like? anything in thursday or friday that could be the culprit? Did you threaten to kick your scale? that always works for my printer!

Uggh up 1.5 from LdW, this P3 bites! Could this be "Bernice" or should I really feel this crummy.

Hi all --new here and I hope I can join! I have been reading your posts while on P2 and now that I am on P3, I can really use your advices based on your experiences...
I started P3 on saturday eating clean but I am gaining every single day!!

Last day of drops: 190.6 Lbs
1st day VLCD: 189.4 (-1.2)
2nd day VLCD: 189.0 (-0.4)
3rd day VLCD: 188.8 (-0.2)
-----
1st day P3: 190.6 (+1.6) => back to last day of morning after drops
2nd day P3: 191.4 (+0.8) => up almost a pound over

This is freaking me out!!! How if I keep going up? Anybody else experienced this when reintroduced fat after P2? If I consider the weight I lost during VLCD without drops it's a total of 2.4 lbs gained in a couple of days!!! Please help if you can!

morning y'all I've been MIA a couple days had a rough last week just not paying attention, up 2lbs exact from LIW, did a steak day on Friday, down 2.6 saturday from the steak day putting me .6 below LIW and saturday was also a DD for me, thank the Lord because I got the stomach bug I ate cottage cheese and some crab and never kept that down resulting in me essentially not eating ALL day, so woke up yesterday to another .2 down (I was like that's all?!) lol! Yesterday was an UD so have no clue what the scale said today How's everyone doing?!

You should definitely expect your weight to fluctuate for a couple of weeks after starting P3 before it will stabilize. It would help us if you could post a typical menu in order for anyone to tell you where you may be going wrong. Don't panic...it will all work itself out eventually. Trust me, I panicked for a while when I started P3 so bad that I almost wanted to just go back on P2.

Thank you so much for replying Tiffany! Any help I can get would be very helpful. Here is my menu for the 2 days in P3:

Saturday:
- Breakfast: 2 eggs omolet; 1/2 red pepper stuffed w/ground beef; decaf with heavy cream and truvia
- Lunch: Beef, lettuce + real blue cheese dressinf (has 1net carb), 4 strawberries
- Dinner: Chicken thight (skin on), sauteed cabbage, decaf with heavy cream+truvia

Sunday:
Breakfast: 2 eggs omolet; 1/2 red pepper stuffed w/ground beef;
Lunch: Chicken (skin on), sautee cabbage
Dinner: beef, sautee spinach, decaf with heavy cream+truvia, 4 strawberries

Note:
- I've been very good drinking lots of water!!
- all the food is now prepared with coconut oil
- my meet is almost double the portion from VLCD and prepared with oil

I don't see anything wrong with your menu. They do say introduce dairy SLOWLY...although I always dive right in with cheese and hwc. If you're eating up to the calories allowed to maintain then I'm not sure what the issue is. I don't use coco oil so not sure, but I wouldn't think it would cause an issue.

All the food listed I ate it before on atkins w/o any issue :-( P3 is becoming a challenge for me so far --I hope I will not gain all the weight (or most of it) back before I go to round 2. I am planning on diving into Round 2 of HHCG after the 3 weeks in P3 (around April 20th...).

Anybody else had a rough start in P3? When did you start seeing some balance? bcz for me I am only seeing upward move on the scale :-(

I'm sorry you're starting off rocky on P3. A lot of people do. I have always been lucky and stabilize really well. However, I'm praying this round b/c I stopped the drops a few days early and they've got me scared I'm not going to stabilize.

It doesn't look like you've got a lot of sodium either...So your calories are at maintenence level? If so, see what tomorrow brings...

I try to stay away from sodium; I make all my food home (so far). I am thinking bumping up my calories if the scale doesn't cooperate! The other thing I should report is lack of Bernice for the last couple of days. However, Saturday was not a good day as after I had the omolet and the stuffed pepper I had some kind of reaction to the fat (??) and was going like every hour throughout the day and a part of the night!!

I hope things will get sorted out soon! Did u keep your apple or you gave it up? I wanted to go with low carb during my P3 and stopped having my apple :-( kept strawberries since they are acceptable on Atkins... any thoughts on that?

Hang in there. If you haven't seen bernice in a while it's like the cause of the gain and crummy feeling. Hope you're feeling better and down a bit. Being up near the top of the range is scary!!

hhcgLC-. on the frustration. Most of us gain a lot initially then it evens out. Figure how empty your insides were coming out of P2. Your menu looks good. Maybe it's just a lot of calories? Did you calculate your RMR/BMR numbers at this lower weight? Sometimes we need to adjust calories. Hope it straightens out quickly.

I'm up today. Completely expected (and earned ). I ate P4 all weekend, although not completely insane. I had the wiggle room and took it! I also started running last night, C25K, and am a bit sore from that. Expected. I am doing a nice clean P3 day (LC) and am not worrying. If it keeps going up, then I'll worry. Still 0.8 w/i my window. P4D4. I'm happy so far. The exercise is desperately needed. My body seems so weak now!! I hope I didn't lose too much muscle. I know hcg is supposed to protect muscle, but I know that's not what happened. I do think most of what I lost was fat, but know I'm missing some muscle too. Although, the month+ of no lifting would also have caused some muscle loss. . Back to "work" I go!

In P3 I eat apples, strawberries & peaches mostly. I probably eat less fruit than I should in P3 but will try to eat more this time. Good luck on the scale tomorrow!
