Hopefully our GY day will help us both before we go back into P2. Are you doing 1 or 2 gorge days before the VLCD? I'm doing 2 gorge days on 4/14 and 4/15 and doing VLCD on 4/16 for 21 days.

How's the C25K going so far? I wanted to start this week sooooo bad but I was really afraid since I have already been gaining these last few days. Plus, I didn't think I would be able to finish it since I start R2 in a couple of weeks.
Tiffany,
We have almost the same stats and very close in Rounds! I just finished my first round and will start the 2nd round with loading the week-end of 4/21. Lost 19Lbs in 28 days ( I just kept going until I finished my 2nd bottle --my provider/coach said it was completely fine as long as I go over 21 days). I will do the same again the 2nd round.
I lost fairely well the 1st couple of weeks then went to losing about a couple or 3 lbs a week for the 2nd half of the round. I hope I will not lose less the 2nd round. If I lose the same lbs (or more) on the 2nd round, I will be a happy camper.

For those that have done multiple rounds --did you lose more, same, or less the following rounds? Especially those with let's say over 20 lbs to lose....

Wow...I didn't notice that...our stats are very close. I did the full 40 days and lost 32 lbs. I wanted to stop but I figured that I would go as long as I could to lose as much as possible. It really did slow down during the last 2 weeks and I even stalled for about 5 days.
I've heard from others that the weight loss is slower in the 2nd round, I hope that's not the case with us though.

Let's hope and pray for the best! I wanted to get into 170s at the end of the 2nd round but that will require me to lose about 15lbs with the 2 bottles (about 28 days)--I hope it will happen!!

Hi guys. Sorry I've been MIA. I have had an incredibly rough week or so. I was on a business trip for 5 days which did NOT go as planned. Massive horrible eating all around. When I came back, I had a gf in town for four days. UDs all around again. Then last Sunday, I had to hospitalize then euthanize one of my cats--my baby. Let's just say that my "diet" the last few days has consisted of carbs, sugar, alcohol and prescription drugs. I feel puffy, icky, and just all around awful. Today, I am back to a normal DD and hopefully will shed some of this horrible water weight. So no carbs, sugar or alcohol today for me. I guessing that the prescription meds will continue as I keep getting gobsmacked with memories. I'm not planning to get on the scale until Saturday or Sunday morning, whatever works with the day after a DD. Hope everyone is having a better day...

Way to rock the bacon day! Happy it worked for you! Sorry about the cheesecake and the mess, I'm gonna try to make one for Easter. Hope it comes out ok.

Great loss Drew! Sure hope it sticks! Hope the Atkins Ind. works for you, I haven't started with the alternative flours yet, gonna wait until P4, but I eat lots of GY! Hope you get it figured out soon.

Aren't you still below your ldw? I'm sorry, i probably missed some days worth of reading while the nightmare work week was going on! I'm sorry if you are experiencing what I am too...a steady climb, CD day then another climb. very frustrating but WE WILL PERSEVERE!!!
I am doing the gy today then if back down...will play with my numbers more over the next week. Maybe i'm still too much in the protein zone? I'm suspicious of my hwc...but i swear i could guzzle the stuff!
I hope you have a great day...oh, and just my 2cents...but unless you are over by 2lbs don't do the cd! Just let your body do what it needs to do...be mindful of what you are eating/or not doing and chalk it up as learning...that was more for me than you!
giant hugs!!!

Hey there! I looked at the site, but not sure if i am on the right thing...is it the bod squad thing? I saw everything but the boot camp part. After today's cd i am going to see about upping the fat w/o quite so much protein...though, i haven't wrapped my head around how to up the fat w/o the addition of the protein...and I am thinking hwc is one of my culprits! grrrrr i love the stuff! If "B" would show up more than 2x a week that would help! KNOW i need more bulk in the veggie area...there are days i don't get any! But you are an inspiration! Heck, everyone on here is...and there are days it gives me the strength to know i'm not alone and to not throw in the towel!!
I have to make this work out...so I can get back to Tx and get my BFF on board...I need him to be around! I would be lost w/o him!

Ok, up 2+ this morning....so on the GY i am today! Haha! sounded a bit like yoda there!
I have two weeks till R2P2....I wonder if i will go through LC withdrawls! lol....i'm used to and loving this high fat yumminess!

Hope everyone has a super great day! I'm off to pack up my spare bedroom....it serves as a giant (well, as giant as one can have in a 1,000 sq foot house! ) walk in closet....for all of my single digit clothing! BUT when i get back in them.....i will have UH MAZING clothes! lol...i bought those before i was a broke poor school teacher~ graphic design paid SO much better! oh, and school loans! lol

OMGEE! I just got attacked by a hyper spazoid 75lb pit bull! lol...it is really funny when a 4 lb chihuahua spazzes out and runs and spins like they got into the catnip....it is a whole nother kinda scary hysterical when it is a 75lb fluff monster( she is like her momma...she is "well built!")
Good luck with your GY CD! The Bod Squad is another program she offers. I'm in it and it included boot camp. It deals with the emotional part of this, to keep you from gaining it back. You need to join that site, post 15 times (anywhere), then request access under the user panel for bootcamp. I think it's like 10 or 15 a month, l ess if you pay for 3 or 6 months upfront. I think you can try it out on a weekly basis for $5, and then decide if you want to continue. For me, it was the best $ I spent. I have hope now in maintaining. Even if you decide not to do this, just bookmark it in case you need it after another round. There are a few on LCF that are members there (Leona, I think Stevie Rae, Dawn (and shes done boot camp, that's where I heard about it) just to name a few. You've done great and may not need it, I just wanted those that struggle and can't get it to work to know about it. HTH

I even had some gluten free chex cereal last night and it didn't seem to affect me; however, I will probably have a freaking rebound effect. I am on day 9 of P3 and this has been the worst P3, I have ever encountered. I don't think I can eat almonds, which I love, and I think I need to take it easy with the cheese. Oh and the flax meal - not one of the best inventions according to my body.
Hang in there, your body is still adjusting. Take it slowly introducing new stuff so you can figure out what works! Hope the scale starts moving down soon!

We went out afterwards since it was our last game and I got "dinner" at 8pm. Bunless burger But btw. a late night, which I am proud to say I resisted delicious shoestring fries and frozen custard!! i am out of my window today. I'm ok w. it. I am happy to be exercising. I'll be running tonight (day 2!!) and know that won't help the scale. But, hopefully my GYCD will!! And I'd like enough loss to get back lower in my window so I can add weight training tomorrow. We'll see.
Sorry your up Julie! I'm already afraid of adding those carbs back next week. I'm sure your body is retaining water from the exercise.
Good luck with the GY CD! Hope all goes well at the Dr.

Interestingly, the only 2 changes I made yesterday were eating a small apple (I was craving so much for it ) and did not use anything dairy -cheese/heavy cream- besides the creamy ceasar dressing in my salad. I will stick to the same food today and see if tomorrow will be another good day. Still no Bernice since Sunday and I am taking the same kind of tea that has helped me a lot before (Trimmaxx)

Thank you for all your support!
Glad to hear your coming back down! I would hold off on the cheese for a few days, keep it simple, and keep eating a little fruit. The fiber in the apples might help with Bernice, if not you might add magnesium, I take it everyday, keeps things regular.

I lost the same amount, both times!

Looks like almost everybody's doing a little better today YAY!

I got to come home from work early, we've got around 10 tornado's that have touched down in the Dallas area, many without power now, and the kids have been under lock down in a secured area at school for 2 hours and won't be released until the storms pass around 5ish.
Lots of rain and flooding, we need it badly, just hope everyone comes through it ok.

Hope you are all having a great day!

Shelby~ So sorry about your baby. Mine passed 2 years ago April 1st and I still shed tears for her. It's rough but I have no doubt in my heart that she had a wonderful life with you as her mommy. You will see her again in heaven, I know this. Dont you worry about your diet right now. Just take care of you, love.

Well - I sort of "did it" today - took all my size 12s and most of my size 10s to Salvation Army - afraid I kept my favorite size 10s - hopefully I'll be able to trust myself more in a month or so and get rid of them too.

This was HARD! I kept thinking of the money I was wasting - now I for sure can't regain the weight!

How have the rest of you dealt with this? I really wish that I had someone close I could give my old (but still nice) clothes to - but shipping them is expensive and none of my friends here either need them and/or would fit into them ...

When i lost all of my weight last time I had stuff stored in the garage for a "garage sale"...so when my 10s....then my 12s....then my 14s....(see a pattern here) got to snug on me...i would just go pull some stuff from the garage!
SO, this time, as stuff got to big...it went in a box and mom and dad are taking it back to TX for a sale there! i'm not keeping ANYTHING that I consider my "fat" clothes...now, i still am of course, extra fluffy...but it is getting better each day!
I did discover a great deal for clothes! lol...Mom and I hit the thrift stores for antique glass ware and things my artsy fartsy self can repurpose...when we went to the GW in the NICE part of town (tybee island) WOW! I walked out with about five shirts that I KNOW will fit when winter hits. Two of them still had tags in them. I was selective, and thanks to my incessant shopping habit...I knew what labels to look for! So, that is going to be my go to place until i get back in my skinny clothes! Things are WAY TOO expensive to buy them for inbetween sizes!

I would take them to the GW. I love the work that they do for special needs people and those trying to get back up on their feet. I may be there myself this fall...going back to TX w/ no job!!! We did go to SA and were stunned by the pricing. They were 2x the price of GW. I had to giggle at myself for complaining about the price of stuff at a resale shop!

What a milestone for you! I haven't dealt with this... I'm buying 2's now, but I have every size through 24/26. Sure hope I never need them again, but I really need to start donating b/c I have no room for new stuff!

Yep! It can be done. 235 (size 24/26) low carbed down to 165 ish (16/18). Started HCG 165 (16/18) down to 120 (Size 2). Mind you, I went from girls plus sizes as a kid, to women's 14 and kept going up. Never in a Jr's. Until now! Barely have anything that fits, luckily I wear shorts, t-shirts & flip-flops to work every day of the year. Had the most fun raiding my girls closets for a while, but now it's all too big.
Not gonna buy anything until I finish P3, and prove I CAN MAINTAIN!

Keep working it girl, you'll get here too!

WOW! I'm impressed! You should be our "poster gal"!

I guess my major problem is I keep buying new clothes - then I don't wear them long enough to justify getting rid of them - right now I'm in a 6 and might even fit a 4 eventually - but I'm really scared about being able to maintain ... My closet at this point has a lot of 8s (which are too big) and several nice 6s - only one size 4, sort of don't know if that will be a "do-able" size for me.

I am retired and living in Florida, so my clothes consist primarily of shorts/skorts/capris and tank tops/tees - a style that looks pretty bad when badly-fitting.

I will need to buy a swim suit one of these days - am NOT looking forward to that! Although I can fit small sizes, I'm still 67 years old and don't look good in brief clothing! And tankini/shorts get pretty boring - there needs to be a style of swim wear for us older women!!!!!

Keep working it girl, you'll get here too!
I think my jaw dropped even further! I too can remember wearing the "husky" kids sizing, left childrens clothing and in elementary went into womens clothing!
I will never truly pay attention to what the scales say (I was nearly 350+ at a size 28) I will always pay more attention to my clothing size!
YOU are truly an inspiration!!!

GYCD ?

What happens if you don't get the whole 32oz of GY in? I have had 2 servings, one w. PB, and am stuffed. Didn't get that first serving until 2:30P. Very long day. I guess tomorrow we'll see, but I hope it doesn't hurt the scale.

Yep-count me in the in "pretty plus" sizes! I was a 26 when I started Atkins. It's been long enough now that I can hardly remember it. But those 26's were tight .

Been a long rough day. I'll BBL to do more personals.

Your wardrobe sounds like mine. It's hot in Tx too. Luckily I don't have to buy "work clothes", everything I wear gets bleached out cleaning houses. I fear being able to maintain too, that's exactly why I'm waiting to shop. I'm getting tired of all the too big stuff though.
Your gonna be the hottest 67 yr old running around in bathing suit! You've done great! We'd all feel lucky to look like you at 67!

Thank you Theresa! Look how far you've come! You've lost as much as I have, you are very much an inspiration yourself! You've come a long way baby! Your prob much taller than I am, I'm almost 5'4 and just didn't carry 235 very well. Hold your head high, remember why the scale got that high, and never forget how far you have come. You'll be at goal before you know it! KUTGW!!!

WOW!!! That is soooo impressive. You are my idol Tonya. I was a size 22 when I was married 13 years ago and am now in size 10/12 and that feels good. Until I read your post I thought I would never be able to wear a size 5/6 but you have given me hope. Thanks for the inspiration.

Shelby, that is horrible. I'm so sorry that things are going rough for you.

My update - OK, so after my GYCD yesterday I lost 4.4lbs and I am again below my LDW . What a blessing for me because I was really worried yesterday.
After thinking about it yesterday I think I know what may have caused the gain. I started back taking my medicine for ADHD on Sunday, which I haven't taken since starting P2. That's the only thing that I could think of that changed that could have caused me to gain. I didn't take it yesterday or today so we'll see what happens. Worse case scenario...I won't take it anymore and I'll just be bouncing off the walls and get no work done because I wont be able to focus , I think it's worth it . We'll see if my boss likes that.

Morning ladies! Hope your all happy with your scale today!

I'm P3D17 LDW 121.4, I added mac nuts 2 days ago, and coconut and yesterday I had a loss of 1.2, today a loss of .8, I'm now at new low of 118.4, 3 lbs below ldw. WOW! Dare I say my body is actually running normal now? So tempting to get the last few off but I'll wait until P4, but the wiggle room will be good for Easter weekend and starting P4. I think I found my magic #'s!

Hope you all have a great day!

By the way, I pray that none of my new HCG friends were affected by the terrible storms that ripped through Dallas yesterday . If you're in the area please let us know that all is well.

Hi everyone. My 3.8 loss didn't stick. I am up 1.6 this morning.

I am at a total loss as to what to do. P3 should be over for me on Friday. I don't know if I should start another round of P2 in the next couple of weeks or not. OR should I continue to eat P3 and see if my body just needs to recover and see what happens.

I am so frustrated and I can't bear the idea of doing yet another CD right now. It shouldn't be like this.

WOOHOO! Good job on your gyd!!! Don't ya love the relief of below ldw??? I hope it isn't your meds doing it though! That would be rough! Can they change the meds at all? Though, i know that is as rough sometimes as being w/o them totally!

I woke up this morning a bit apprehensive about weighing...praying the gy did its thing! I went from 271. something to 264.4!!! 3lbs below ldw! Woohoo!!!!!!!!! WHEW! My plan for today is to back off the hwc, up the fats, lower the protein just a touch. I want to find my magical zone! lol...hmmmm, i have a question though. I had the following for breakfast. I tried to lower it a bit from normal...but it is still nearly = on fat/prot.

2 fried eggs
3.5 oz rib eye
1 oz queso fresco
1/4 cup smushed avocado
1tbs sour cream
1tbs butter ( cooked the eggs, steak in it)
1 oz hwc in my coffee
---------------------------------------------
671 cals 51.8g fat 8g carb 45.3g prot

HOW do i get the fat up other than to totally add way more butter, evoo, co, etc. I am going to try to limit my dairy to my morning meal and NOT eat after 7.
any suggestions?

Tonya...I'm doing the BC today...gonna do the 6 month....may as well...i'm 100% vested in doing this! Now I just gotta get busy w the exercise!

Tonya --what exactly did you for correction day that got you down 4.4lbs in one day? I want give it a try!!

As for me,
Today I am happy to report a 0.2 decrease (better than nothing or going up ;-)). As long as I do not go up -I am happy and thinkfull. I am now +0.2 above my LDW!

Keep up the great work ladies!

Unbelieveably my bacon cofee day stuck and no gain today so it will be a steak day for me. I'm still 5 lbs over my window. Amazed at the postings on the GY days. Wish it worked for me. BUt yesterday I had a tummy ache all day so I'm kind of happy to take a break from food, uh did I just say that?

Yesterday I had
a meat and cheese omlette
2 sf vanilla lattes
swiss cheese and cheddar cheese
16 oz gy with strawberries
a greek salad romaine feta red onion olives with half a rosted chicken
a sf chocolate covered almond cluster from see's candies

funny how you never know whats gonna happen until the next day that you step on the scale. I find myself closing my eyes and trying to peek at it until I discover what ive done.
