Dang! I hope I can find local people who want my stuff the way y'all do! It does sound promising but I can't allow myself to believe it yet. She said how much she really liked me and "as long as the other person isn't superwoman,..." That gives me a lot of hope. I've been figuring how many of my things to sell and it will make my move that much easier. The apartment is very nicely furnished already and the attic is entirely mine, so I can put things I really like in the attic and sell the rest, while using her stuff and getting money for mine! And if I use her w/d I can sell mine and not have to worry if they break down! The beauty of renting.

I'm having a very 'me' P3. That's good news. Up to 1900 cals yesterday on day 3 and rock solid at LDW. It is starting to sink in that I may actually find this weight as easy to maintain as the one after my last round. If that turns out to be the case...man! What a RUSH!!! I mean, I'm sitting here eating an enormous container of full fat greek yogurt with grated coconut and walnuts in it and oh my goodness, it's awesome. Last night I had the cheesiest yummiest zucchini lasagna with a big salad with ranch dressing. I've had bacon or sausage and eggs (lots of them) every morning for breakfast. Oh yes...I can be happy happy happy eating like this and staying thin. What a great plan this is!
Oooooh! That reminds me of something I ate a lot of last year, only it was with cottage cheese. It really was killer! I'm so happy you are rock solid again after this last round, Deb!

Oooooh! Just read the rest of your menu! Dude! All of that sounds wonderful to me. I've never made zucchini lasagna but I'll bet it is wonderful.

I wish you could, too. You'd love love love it! It works and looks like new. 93 jets! Holy moly. I'll always remember it with fondness, but I'll treasure each month's electric bill without it! I pay about $120 each month and the woman said she averaged $65 when living in this apartment. Now that sounds a lot better.

Oooh! Either one of those sounds delightful.

Yep! We might get the news before Saturday but Saturday is the day she swears she will have made her decision and announced it. One of us is going to be very happy, the other is going to want to crawl into a hole and pull a rock up on top of herself.

Truthfully, $900 a month without including heat is going to be tough for me, but I will be looking actively for a way to make at least a few hundred more dollars per month, to give me some wiggle room. I hope to get at least $3K for my belongings. Nobody wants to pay anything for quality used stuff these days.

Stacey, WTG!!!
Mini, how have you been doing? I haven't seen much posting from you in a bit..

I myself hit a new low this morning: 136.6 (I think, might've been .8) Either way, 136!! And my interview went great, she has some contacts for me and is going to try to set up some interviews. So of course I went shopping and bought some goodies at Sephora since I was in such a good mood!

We shall see what the scale says tomorrow, I had an Asian Chicken Thai salad thing at The Elephant Bar, and a whole milk latte at the mall.

That's great news, Erin!! I pray that you get the job if it is exactly what is right for you. (Now I sound like my Mom. That's what she always says when I ask her to pray for me about something.)

WTG on that new low!!!

I myself have been naughty tonight. Not sure what came over me but after eating about 1000 kcals of high fat (my plan) Atkins style food and taking hhcg, I caved to whatever is floading through my heart and head and had some wine and pizza tonight. I think when the weight comes off so easily it's not such a big deal to take one step backward. As long as it is only "one step", I'm cool with that.

I think part of it is the realization that when I'm paying $900/month for rent, there will be little room left for things like pizza and wine. I'm wondering if the dog will still get her occasional bones! Fact is I've been living rent-free for quite some time now and when I have to fork over almost a grand each month for the roof over my head, it will be time to "sober up."

Time to hit the hay. Office day at the farm tomorrow. God bless each of us tonight in the ways we need it the most.

Thanks Cheryl-hope you hear soon. Sounds like such a nice opportunity!

I hit Panda Express with dd(11). She got my soda for me. I was taking a few sips and thinking, "this diet pepsi tastes odd". She comes back to the table and I asked her if she was sure she got diet pepsi. She said, let me check. The one on the right, right? Nope. That's regular pepsi!! AH! I don't know how many sips I took, and what that will do to me tomorrow. Sigh. And it was Chinese food. I looked up their nutritional info and it looks like I'm still under 1800cals today. Carbs are a bit high, so we'll see what happens in teh morning.

Watching Idol w/ DD. Nitey-nite.

You are totally cool, Julie! A few sips of "real sugar" is not going to do you in. Enjoy Idol w/ dd!

It is an amazing apartment but I will only unleash on all of you if I actually get it. I can't "go there" and then try to recover.

It's weirdly slow here tonight on LCF on all my subscribed threads. It feels like a weekend rather than a Wednesday. Oh, well. Tomorrow I will be sweating and trying to keep up with all the posts! Feast or famine.

Love and hugs all around!

Cheryl -- I am praying for your housing situation -- I think I forgot to post that yesterday.

Sorry my postings have been so scant -- I've been one busy bee this past week!

Day one, protocol, in the bag. Now, just twenty more to go -- lol. Today was fine, though I am hungry now -- I did have a student ask me tonight what I eat, because she and her friend both envied my figure -- whoa, these girls are like twenty! How cool is that?

I'm tired, and looking forward to a good night's sleep -- it's going to be crazy busy for me from now until mid May -- but I figure the three weeks of p2 will be over before I really even have time to think about them.

Plan is to get on the scale this weekend and see where I've landed -- at least most of the load weight should be gone at that point, I hope.

Good going, mini, day one done!

Cheryl, it won't be almost a thousand dollars a month for just a roof over your head - that will be for almost everything - heat, electricity, house insurance, maintainance, cable - am I forgetting anything? The only basic needs not covered will be food and gasoline. You're getting security for you and your fur child, and an opportunity to get solidly back on your feet, so you won't have these worries gnawing at you.

Down .6 today. I'll take it! I was a bit worried because I was quite rogue yesterday - all low carb, but quite a lot, and again more in the evening than I usually do. I'm going to have to be sure to eat more at lunch and see if that takes care of the recent peckishness in the evening. I also had part of my low carb pizza crust though and I wonder if that just stirred up some cravings. It was made with yeast and Kevinpa's flour mix.

Ah vell, we shall see. Sending a good loss day to everyone!

good morning.

well, i was down half of my 'refeed' gain. 1.2 lbs. thought it may have been more, but am fighting a cold or something and ovulation is starting which seems to be when i gain fluid with my cycle rather than actual TOM.

i wonder too if i may have been down more if i would have stuck to my regular 800 cals. i was under that. will stick to 800 today and lots of water.

,cheryl that your name is picked for the apt. it sounds fabulous!

Okay, I just typed out nice personals for all of you and then bumped the keyboard and deleted them.

I have to go workout and then do childcare at church. But I am thinking of you all and will be able to get on later today when I have more time!

Oh, I am at a new low of 134 today!! The 20s are in sight! YAY!!

WOE: Lowish carb (formerly on Protein Power)
Down a pound this morning. I didn't try the canteloupe as I ended up not going to the store. Instead I drank two protein shakes, homemade 2% Greek yogurt, and a half grapefruit. I had planned on a salad to get some roughage, but was not hungry. Which is happening more and more lately, but I'll take it. If I don't lose tomorrow morning, then I'll try the canteloupe. With being on Rx, I'm a bit surprised that losses have slowed down this much. By doctor's charts, I'm still 25-30# overweight, but I only want to lose another 15#, so I'm not close enough to goal to explain this. Week 2 doldrums, I gather. Good news is I've decreased basal insulin by 1/3rd -- from 18 to 12 units. That alone should help me lose weight.

Today I'll finish up the venison stew I made a few days ago and add Miracle noodles to it for fiber, plus a large salad. Not sure about this evening, but if I'm not hungry then I'll drink a shake.

I read all the posts and am happy to hear of the losses, and other events in your lives. Hope everyone has a great day.

Brigit-what's your total losses? I thought you were down a lot? Stalls stink . A lb is great!! Hope it keeps/picks up for you!!

Mini-keep plugging away. 1 day at a time. Yeah for the compliiment!! You are beautiful, fit and skinny!! Be proud!!

Cheryl- while you wait.

Stacey- on your loss!! WTG!!

Plum-love your post. You're right on!! Hope the losses keep up and the munchies die down.

Carrie-hope you're down soon too. 800cals is much easier, and if your body prefers it, who are you to argue w. it? When is your LDD?

I'm up a lb overnight (don't think the regular Pepsi agreed w. me!! ). Sigh. I really don't want to do a CD. My first 2 weeks went great. Now this week I'm at the top of my range or over it. I guess it's been all restaurant meals that have caused these CD's, now that I think of it. Sunday Sweet T's, then CD. Yesterday Panda, then CD. But come on. I can't eat out? Or if I do I have to do it P2 style? That's not living!! Maybe I need to work my way down to the lower end of my window? I was there a little bit and really liked it!!

Plus, I'm adding in exercise next week. I fear this scale fight and CD nonsense w/ all of that. Especially the weight training.

Ok, sorry about all of that whining. You guys understand. I was really enjoying this P3 for a while there. It's time to suck it up, do my steak day (my version is 2 steaks, one at lunch, and one at dinner). I'm allowing myself to go out and buy whichever ones I like. I don't care how much they cost today . I'm worth it . That'll soften the blow at least. And hopefully I'll be below LDW tomorrow morning.

I'm also going to buy some CO while I'm out. It's time to dabble in that. I may wait until the day after my CD. If I rebound I don't want the CO to be blamed. I tend to rebound anyway.

Ok, now I'm just rambling. Sorry!!

Plum, I wish you were right about all that, but heat and electricity will be on my dime. And I'm not sure if I'll need to get Renter's Insurance. No clue what that costs. The things that are included with the rent is cable/internet/water/trash pick up. (It's City water; comes to about $63 every 3 months.) And any of the furnishings that are in the house that I'd like to have left there for my own use. And the washer/dryer, fridge, stove, dishwasher.

It's the NOT having heat included that is the big factor at play here. I'm used to paying for heating oil and there, I'd be using Natural Gas which is supposed to be much cheaper and much more efficient. I was figuring in $100/month to be setting aside into a heating fund so that when winter came around, I'd be able to make it through. But I will ask her how much her average Natural Gas bills ran for a year. I know her electric is half of what mine is. But I have the hot tub which will not be with me over there.

WTG on the 0.6! And thanks so much for the encouragement.

Julie: Sorry you are struggling with P3. It seems like a lot of folks do. But I know you will get a handle on it. To answer your question, my total loss is 10 lbs. That sounds like a lot, but that includes 3 lbs. loading, so actually only 7. It all came off the first 8 days, since then I've been bouncing around with a net loss of 1 lb. the last 5 days.

Cheryl: I can't believe how expensive apts. are in your area! Around here a medium-nice 1 bd. goes for $450-500, and the super deluxe for $600-700. I guess that's the advantage of living in a rural area.
You mention being on a high fat HCG round. How are your overall losses with that? It just seems so counterintuitive to me to add fat.

Dazy: You may not have lost what you wanted, but at least the scale is going in the right direction. Just curious what your 800 cal. plan consists of?

Mini: Great start -- I hope you have a very successful round.

MsHistory: Yeah, chocolate will derail me every time. I was digging in the freezer yesterday and came across my stash (put there so it would be out of reach) -- I slammed the freezer lid shut so quickly I almost caught my hand. But it is still calling to me. I shall resist...I shall resist.... And so will you next time -- I just know it.

Oh Cheryl, sorry for the mistake! I thought everything was included. But this will still be comfortably doable for you if the heat is reasonable?

Yay on the full pound down!

Thanks, Carrie! You guys will know very shortly after I know. I think 800 calories and what you've been eating has been ideal for you! That refeed weight will be history very soon. (So will mine!)

Yahooooo! That's wonderful news! And WTG on dropping that 1 lb! That's a good drop. Week 2 is the pits. Don't try to second guess your every move, though I do the same things myself. Do as I say, not as I do! You are going to easily reach your goal of dropping those 15 lbs. Relax and it will happen. (We need like a meditation smilie.)

Cheryl- while you wait.

I'm up a lb overnight (don't think the regular Pepsi agreed w. me!!

Sorry!!
Julie, are you near the top of your window or over the top of it? Try not doing a CD and eating cleanly and seeing what comes back off on its own tomorrow. That will show you that you are truly maintaining as you should be. Eating out is almost always a bad idea. It sucks but it's true. You just never know what is in your food. And even if you request stuff to be cooked a certain way, there's no guarentee it will be.

You've never tried CO before? If you have a bump up after the CO, you might be sensitive to it, like I am. Go softly into that dark night. (Oh brother.) Sorry! Still sipping on my first cup of coffee and need to down a few more fast. Time is running out. Must be at the farm in an hour.

We both bit the dust last night! It's okay, sweetie pie! Chocolate is one of my faves these past few years, too. So decadent! And rich and I think it is even good for you. (At least that's what I tell myself.)

Well, I must run and get ready for the office at the farm. Wish I could work from home again today but she was one of my apartment References so I need to go in and thank her.

I didn't weigh today cause of my naughty behaviour last night. I'll weigh again tomorrow and keep it clean today.

Love and hugs to all!!

Everything is expensive in CT. Right now, even the cheapest gas is over $4/gallon. Food just keeps bumping up and up in price, right along with the gasoline. It's a vicious cycle. If I could lose weight by eating low fat and high carb, my food bill would go way down. But I just feel crappy in my joints when I eat carby stuff and I get the bloat. My face gets puffy, etc. But I digress.

Yay on the full pound down!
If that were true, I'd be falling on my knees, BEGGING her to take me!!! Then I would be good-to-go.

I'm running out of time. I didn't finish all that I wanted to say in this post but it will have to wait. I wrote my thoughts about doing a high-fat P2 in the past. It's all just math and the calories you don't eat still have to come from your fat stores. The trick is to still get enough protein. BBL!

Dropping in to say hello and cheer everyone on.

I'm maintaining nicely though off the scale. I'm in a new outfit today and feel pretty good about it.
I'm also learning that I simply can't have carbs other than fruits. They send me into a tail spin. Looks like I'm going to be a low carb gal for life

Nothing much else going on. Enjoying my last few weeks with my husband before he deploys.

Same for me, DP. It gets me going on a vicious binge cycle every time. :/ Enjoy your time with your hubby.

Mini, - that's freakin' awesome girl! (your students complimenting you!) Of course, it isn't just what you eat, you definitely spend some quality time working on those muscles!

Stacey - woot for the new low! you will be at goal before you know it!!

Cheryl - everything is very expensive here as well. I live in Illinois across the river from St. Louis, and our gas, groceries, taxes, is more expensive. We make trips across the river just to save money on gas and food. Its ridiculous. I am jealous of your water bill - mine is $50-55 monthly, for small duplex with only two people! I can't believe what bigger families pay. And don't even get me started on my electric bill. :/

I am at an all new low today: 135.6. I couldn't believe it! Even after eating a salad out at The Elephant Bar, the whole milk latte, AND some chocolate! PLUS, chicken with mayo! This beats my low of last summer. And I plan to keep going!

I was loving this P3 until Monday morning this week!! But, after my GYCD I did well and was comfy happy again!! Then 1 little mistake by a well meaining 11year old and Whamo! Back up out of my window (actually, after coffee and potty I was back in, but didn't count it ).

Cheryl-Nope, I was 0.4 out of my window . I can live with it. I think doing a steak day today (rogue style, one for lunch, one for dinner w. an apple) will hopefully get me down to the bottom of my range tomorrow. That will set me up to enjoy the weekend a bit more. We'll see.

My mom is being discharged from her rehab fac. on Sat. We will need to get her home and settled. She's getting a CNA for 24/7 for a few days to reassure and care for her ($600/day-can't go on long!!). We'll have to see what happens when she gets home. She's not in good condition and likely won't be able to manage at home alone. That will lead to another whole stressful situation. I am the one holding the bag (daughter who stays home to educate her kids). Very stressful and is sucking away my life. Hours and hours I will never get back I know it sounds calloused and cold of me, but there is nothing wrong w. my mom, except laziness. She's done as little as she has to (walking, etc) to get by in life and her muscles have atrophied to the point where she can't even lift her own body weight (which is way too high for her short stature). Anyway, just a real frustrating time in life. I'll get through it. I know the ultimately God is in control. It just feels like all the leg work, phone calls, arrangements etc. is falling on me. Sigh.
