Go BaileysGirl!!!!:jumpjoy:

This morning I was .6 lbs out of my window from last round, so in a few days I hope to be in virgin territory.

Fingers crossed for tomorrow....

IThinkICan 03-25-2012 04:22 PM

I was down 1.5 today! Woohoo! Stall broken! I'm also lower than I was at any point my previous round! Big step for me as I begin week 4...

Good losses, Baileysgirl!

Moonriver... it's coming! Stay strong! I can't wait to hear when you hit virgin territory! It feels so great!

Arctic_Mama 03-25-2012 08:57 PM

I had a small loss after several big days, only .2 this morning. I also snagged a few sweet potato fries in place of my grissini for dinner. I won't be doing that again, I hate cheating!

BaileysGirl 03-26-2012 05:49 AM

Morning! Yay for us losers!!

I'm down a half a pound this morning. I'll take it since I had 1T of sour cream on my chicken and 1t of tartar sauce on my tilapia last night. Won't do it again today though...I am in need of some FAT!!!

Down is down. But yeah, I hear you on the cheating. I'm the same way!

I'm down 1.4 this morning!! Only 1.5 to Virgin Territory!!!

Have a good Monday everyone!

Kari M. 03-26-2012 07:14 AM

I stayed the same today. Which makes a total of 22.4lb loss on VLCD#36 of R1P2. I feel like i need to lose more this round. I wanted to at LEAST get to 25lb loss, in hopes for more than that. I was going to just keep going and lose as much as possible until i ran out of hcg (which is like 9 more days). But the last couple days i have been really hungry, which is new since i havent been hungry since VLCD#3. And this morning i am so hungry that i am starting to feel sick! I have NOT been skipping 1 dosing day per week, except on TOM i skipped twice but without dosing i found myself extremely hungry so i just dosed right through TOM and i completely forgot about having to skip one day a week when doing a long round until last week i remembered and skipped Thursday. So could i have become immune? I really want to keep going but i don't want to be sick and miserable for the next 9 days...

After last round, where one day of fat set me back a week of losses with the crazy stall, I just avoid it like the plague. I even prep the family's food with gloves, just to avoid all contact. If it doesn't set you back or create stabiliztion issues, that's quite lucky ;)

Woohoo! Excellent losses and that virgin territory is SO close! Hopefully the next day or two sees you in it.

It depends on the type of product you're taking (injected rX hCG causes more immunity issues than sublingual, arguably hhCG causes none at all but there is also debate as to whether it even works) but immunity could be a possibility, or your body is just maxed out and you need to go into P3. P3 is essentially a refeed period to stock your stores of fat, protein, mineral, etc again, and the time limits of P2 in the protocol are as much to prevent immunity as to minimize stress on the body (hence the longer and longer P4 as rounds progress).

I would transition off the hCG and call this round good, if your losses are slow and you're feeling hunger. Maybe up your protein and veggies until you hit about 800 calories, if the hunger is extreme, to tide you over for the required 72 hour transition period of VLCD. Then eat a clean and appropriately long P3/P4 and try another round to get the additional weight off.

That's my advice anyway!

Arctic_Mama 03-26-2012 12:27 PM

I'm down to 176.8 today, which was my LDW from round one and is almost my lowest adult weight. This round I really hope to beat my lowest ever, which was about 165 when I was 15. Here's to hoping, right? My losses have been pretty good, 12 pounds in 11 days, and I am trying to be patient on the rest :)

I got in my workout last night, just the TTap Tempo which is a challenging but brief version of the basic plus workout and I am so glad I did! It trims me up and gives me energy, all at once!

Kari M. 03-26-2012 01:19 PM

Arctic Mama- I think i will be taking your advice! Thank you!

Arctic_Mama 03-26-2012 01:22 PM

No problem - a few extra pounds isn't worth misery, and gnawing hunger is definitely miserable! I am in the same boat of wanting more weight off faster, but longer rounds are hard on mere mentally and physically. I can stick to it much better and lose 80-90% of the weight in 30 days, compared to 40. That extra ten days doesn't net me big losses but it costs me a lot in willpower and energy, I have noticed. Unless I am losing well and feeling good, I'm happier with slightly shorter rounds, even if it delays my losses and TTC by a few extra months.

12 lbs in 11 days??!?!?!?! :jumpjoy::jumpjoy::jumpjoy: That's awesome!

Hi Ladies!

Stayed at 154.5 on Sunday, which I kind of expected because good ole TOM came 4 days early...UGH! Then, today, I was up by a pound. But, I'm not terribly worried b/c of TOM. "He" can really do a number on my weight retention! ;) But I have stayed on protocol, and the pants I put on this morning were looser than they were a week ago, so I will take it! :) This round is definitely going to be slower than previous rounds...last year at this time, I was already at 149. *Sigh.* It's ok. Somehow I am in a different mindset this time. Slow and steady...Well, steady. I'll take steady!

My biggest issue this week is that I have a long-planned "girls' weekend" with my best friends from college this coming weekend. I knew it was coming, and originally, I was going to start this round AFTER the girls' weekend. However, I just couldn't stand the weight that was creeping on, so I decided to get a jump start. I'm glad I did, but I am also not so thrilled about doing an interuption. BUT, there is really no avoiding it. I can't reschedule it, and there is no chance of me being able to stay on P2 on a reunion weekend! Ha! So, I think the best I can do is do as absolute little damage as possible--stick to P2 ish foods and avoid sugar, starch and extra fats. I can eat pretty healthy without a problem, but it is the 500 calories that will be tough. I am just hoping to not do too much damage. I plan on extending this round at least by a week. (The 1st would have been day 21). I hate being on P2 for Easter, but I can handle one holiday of eating "right!" As of right now, I am thinking I might end this round on the 13th. We will see. :aprayer:

Now it's time to try to catch up on posts! :) Happy dreams, all!

Kay

kaylem 03-27-2012 04:47 AM

Whew. Woke up to 154. Back down that pesky TOM pound that jumped in there yesterday plus an additional .5. Thank heavens! Just wanted to make a quick post before I get ready for the day. I hope you all have great ones!

Kay

BaileysGirl 03-27-2012 04:56 AM

Morning! I STS today...Which is normal in week 3! Have a great day!

Arctic_Mama 03-27-2012 09:42 AM

Kay - boo to TOM! That always makes me lose slowly or bounce around, too.

Natasha - staying the same isn't a gain, and that's a bright side ;)

Arctic_Mama 03-27-2012 09:55 AM

I'm down 1.2 pounds to 175.6, which is virgin hCG territory and only ten pounds above my low weight of 165 back in highschool. I would SO love to be below that by the end of the round!

Gibby 03-27-2012 04:22 PM

Thanks for the new thread.

22.4 is nothing to sneeze at! It's more than .5 a day.

Rooting for you to get there. You seem pretty determined, i think you'll make it!

I stayed the same today, but I feel skinnier.:)I tend to lose in spurts so hopefully tomorrow will be a spurt.:aprayer:

Arctic_Mama 03-27-2012 06:44 PM

If you felt skinnier you may well be - on those days I stayed the same I noticed the inches whittling down. Woohoo!

I think you are right. Stayed the same today, but this is a set point for me and I think it might take a few days to break through. Also didn't get enough sleep (early morning airport run). And need to clone myself at work...overwhelmed for the first time in a long, long time.

Have a "loser" kind of day everybody!

Arctic_Mama 03-28-2012 09:49 AM

I always hang out at set points on my way back down, I spent three days at the set point of my last round this time, before finally making it past. It happens, and lack of sleep certainly doesn't help!

I weighed in at 174.8 today, which is .8 lower than yesterday so I'm quite pleased! I also got in two TTap workouts and feel great, they do wonders on cinching me in. I'm surprised I haven't been much hungrier given that I am burning a few hundred calories in workouts but now that I'm out of the first week I feel fine. Huh. I have also noticed big, consistent losses with my workout days this time around, less stalls and small losses. It could be coincidental, but I'm not so sure. TTap is very lymphatic and focuses on building muscle and helping the body eliminate waste - that has to help with moving out the excreted fat and toxins the protocol releases, too, I'd assume.

Either way, good results in this corner, so far, but I am so sad I might not reach the goal I hoped for initially in this second round because I slipped a bit in P4. That is much more motivation for the next maintenance phase to stay exactly on target, so I'm not spending the first half of P2 relosing ground I've already tread!

BaileysGirl 03-28-2012 10:15 AM

Afternoon! Down a half a pound - I'll take it! P3 is nearing, I'm dying to eat P3 stuff!

Arctic_Mama 03-28-2012 05:39 PM

Woohoo! Good going, Natasha! I am always SO ready for P3, as well. Enjoy a steak and some bacon for me when you get there ;)

kaylem 03-28-2012 08:03 PM

Stayed at 154 today. Glad there was no "upward" movement, but sure was hoping for little more loss before I leave for my girls' weekend. That's ok, though. I have felt a lot better this round, and as I had said in an earlier post, I think I have accepted the fact that this will be a long round, and that my losses will be slower than they have been before. I don't have any lofty goals of getting to virgin territory--I just want to get back to my original LDW that I achieved last summer of 145--and then STAY there. I'm ok if it takes a little bit longer. Surprisingly, I haven't gotten totally bored of the food, yet. (I typically do on P2). It has been nice to have my meals be "simple" because my work life has been soo stressful recently due to several reasons. At least my meals have been figured out for me, and I don't have to think about them! Ha!

Anyway, it would sure be nice to wake up to a loss tomorrow morning, as I leave for my big weekend. I know I will be able to eat VERY close to protocol tomorrow, but Fri/Sat/Sun will be tricky. I will do the best that I absolutely can, and then pick up on Monday morning. It will all be fine...

Happy dreams, friends!

Kay

Nice loss! I remember trying TTap many, many years ago...might have to check it out again. It does sound like it is helping to move the fat out.

I did the same thing between R2 and R3 and had a lot of territory to "redo".
But I think it's part of learning how to maintain.

Hopefully the loss will come before you leave. You have a good plan for the weekend. My philosophy is that life is for living and some things take time. So enjoy your friends!

1 more lb for BaileysGirl!!!!

Today I finally got my drop (1.6) and I am at LDW exactly! Whooo! Hooo! Now for the new territory! Can't wait.

Have to say that my hunger is almost non existent on this real HCG as opposed to my HHCG. Making it a lot easier to stick to the plan and I'm not constantly working to stay good until my next meal. Liking that!

BaileysGirl 03-29-2012 05:01 AM

I know I may sound crazy but has anyone ever ended a round early? 2 more days after today will be my LDW. I've lost the same amount that I lost in R2. I guess I'm just ready for this to be OVER! If I stop taking my drops as of this morning I can be in P3 on Saturday afternoon versus Wednesday morning. Is this a BAD idea? I will have had 19ish of the 23 VLCD normally required.

I wish I had some advice for you...I've ended a round prior to the 40 day mark, but not before the 21. Nice job dropping so well in such a short period of time!

I'm still 154, so no change in 3 days. I'm at the airport and will stay on plan today. I have extra motivation b/c I FIT INTO MY SIZE SIX JEANS LAST NIGHT! :) I only packed skinny jeans for the weekend, so I CAN'T eat badly...otherwise I won't have anything to wear home! Hee! Hee! Have a great weekend, all!

Arctic_Mama 03-29-2012 10:21 AM

Little loss today - 174.6, down .2 pounds. I'll take it, either way!
