Wow, I'm really tired tonight. Went over to a girlfriend's and she's on South Beach so we had a great food party of olives, garlic marinated muchrooms, cheese crisp thingies and diet cherry cokes. Loving the P3!!!

I posted earlier but it looks like it got lost or didn't take or some such. Today wasn't great for me -- I did fine until about 6 pm, when I was exhausted, shaky, and utterly starving. I ended up eating a second meal -- so fat fast proportions, but the calories were not those of a down day.

I am off the scale due to TOM, but very worried that I am gaining and completely messing up this p3 already.... not happy about that.

Good morning and happy weekend. It was such a long week! I'm so glad to have it behind me. And I get Dh back tomorrow night

Today is my first day back on solids. I'm taking it slow. Having juice for breakfast, an apple for lunch and a nice big salad for dinner.

I tried on clothes I ordered from VS yesterday, all extra smalls and all fit wonderfully! My smallest clothes don't fit but Dh actually told me he doesn't want me to lose any more weight. So, next weekend I'm going to get some shorts and I'll be set for summer.

Relaxing this weekend. Hope everyone has a good one

Good morning campers! No loss for me today but this is the first in 8 days, and 9 lbs. in a week ain't bad, so I'm trying to take it in stride.

I don't have time for personals today. It is a gorgous day with no/ low wind predicted so I'm off to the garden. Have a bucketload of work to do so I'll certainly get my exercise today. Have a great day, everyone.

Morning, had a 125.2 on the scale this morning. I know that reading won't last with steak tonight, but was nice to see again. Looks like the leptin reset magic is starting to happen.

My waist is still up 1/2 an inch from my low...probably won't reclaim that loss till I go back to dieting mode. Don't know if I'll do hcg...certainly faster than cutting calories but it's hard for me to do a 3 week round with only a 7 pound loss. Then again, hard to cut calories for 2 months and only have 2 pounds to show for it (or basically nothing, as I'm at the weight I reached in early December). Not going to make a decision yet, just going to keep P3/resetting.

Hope everyone got great ZZZs, I did, and the sun is shining today!

I called my round on Thursday and start P3 again tomorrow. 128, BMI 20.0 Hoping that I stabilize as well this round as I did last. I'm really really REALLY happy at this weight. It's a weight I'm not even embarrassed to own up to at the DMV!

I decided to take a break from gardening -- hard work! Before my shower, I popped on the scale on a whim -- yeah, I know, NEVER weigh in the middle of the day. But, guess what, I'm down a half pound. The scale showed no loss this morning even though I got on it three times to give it a chance to change its mind. I guess I won't count this half pound, but it was lovely seeing it.

I debated whether to do a round of HCG or go extra low carb -- the latter is easier, but I wanted FAST loss, so for me it was a no-brainer. And if you are on P3, steak is your friend.

Hello! R4VLCD20 and I'm down 2.2 from yesterday. I changed my goal to 135 because I know some of it will come back on during P3 and I want to hover at 140. I want to end this round now and have no idea how I did 70+ day rounds before, that's just nuts. I was slightly rogue so that made it easier for me to manage.

Am looking forward to doing a low carb version of JUDD for maintenance.

Have a great day everyone!

Thanks y'all. I couldn't ever have survived this plan the first round without this forum and felt a little bit conflicted about even doing this round (because I didn't have very much to lose). But my husband did a successful 50 day/50 lb round and at the end of it had just cracked open a brand new bottle of RX drops...and the temptation to get the last little bits off was too much and I decided to do a short round to clean up an annoying bra roll. It was all gone by the time I was half-way through the round and I had to add protein to slow/stop losing for the last ten days. So I think I will have an easy time maintaining. Hope so anyway...I do kind of like where I am.

Sass...staying even on a vacation is the stuff legends are made of CONGRATS

Jackie, happy baby making!! So glad your DH likes you the way you are.

Deb, enjoy P3! So happy you got the results you wanted.

Mini, hope you had a good day after all was said and done.

Paula, so glad the sun returned and the scale dropped! I believe in prayer. And I slept good last night too! Glad we all did.

Star and Violet, you're doing great!! KUTGW!

Sue, that little P3 party sounded fun! Glad you and your friend had a great time. Pics when you have a chance (of Belize.)

That's my best shot at personals tonight. I had a ginormous day! Please go to my journal if interested. Much good news and I need prayer for a few things. I really, really, really like the apartment I viewed today. And orientation went so well at the farm. Got to do some side-walker and leader training in the ring! And they have a new opening for a barn worker (on a "fill-in" type position) so I told the woman that I wanted to be considered for the job. All I need is just a little extra income. I'm the perfect fit, really!

I must start to unwind now. All I ate today was a salad around 8 pm and two mugs of coffee with half-n-half. I was just too busy and hadn't packed food. I started feeling hunger pangs during the classroom part of orientation but I just hoped the growls weren't too loud and drank lots of water. No one looked in my direction so it must have worked.

Goodnight! If it doesn't rain too badly tomorrow, it's an hour-long trail ride in Litchfield for me!

Good luck with sleep (and you too Star)! I forgot my sleep supplements last night and was awake at 5:00. I will DEFINITELY not forget them tonight, even add some benedryl to seal the deal.

Oh, FWIW I think fatigue has a lot to do with sleep, how much and the quality of it (just mentioning it from reading your journal too Cheryl). When my chronic fatigue began years ago, I began waking up feeling tired from the get go. Let's hope we can both get great Zs tonight. Both my kids are at sleepovers, so it should be great for me as long as I don't wake up in a panic wondering/worrying about them.
I forgot about this post on page 6. I need to do a more personal personal here!

So, please explain what your relationship is like with your Mom so I can value the one I have with mine more. I need a different perspective right about now. Seems everything I emailed her, no matter how in-depth and detailed, only resulted in a two word response from her today. She's playing the pouty, hurt mother now. She knows how to get her point across. Oh freakin' well. I went out of my way to "keep her in the loop" today.

I really do feel I have chronic fatigue, but how is it diagnosed and treated? Isn't it just "one of those things" that slips through the cracks and there isn't much you can do about it?

To give you a greater example of my fatigue, I get short of breath (SOB) just taking a shower and then drying off with a towel. If it's not winter, I am sweaty (damp in places like under my breasts and on my forehead) and have to stand in front of a fan even after I'm done towel-drying, to end up dry enough to get dressed. And sometimes I'm ready to just fall over backward onto the bed after I'm finally dressed and my hair is dry, so I can rest before I end up doing whatever it was I just showered and dressed for!

Today I paid close attention as I just went downstairs to retrieve a load of clothes from the dryer. I got the canoe dusted off and swept out and put the paddles and other accessories out on the side porch. Then I got ready for the orientation and was putting on my shoes. Anyone would have been able to visibly see I was huffing and puffing even with that little exertion. Something is clearly wrong and I'm going to see a specialist, at long last. I'll call my Doc this coming week and see who he recommends. I want some tests done.

Great going on the orientation working out. Maybe they will change their minds and let you be a leader and sidewalker. Crossing my fingers and sending up a prayer for the possibility of a job there.

I'm down another 1.5 lbs. today. Ended up not counting the 1/2 lb. yesterday from the mid-day weigh. Need to stay consistent. I just cannot believe how much better this round is going with using Rx than the other rounds with homeopathic. Even my first round, which I counted as successful wasn't like this. Absolutely no hunger, no headaches, no food bordom, good energy level and phenomenol losses. 10 lbs. in 11 days. If I don't encounter the dreaded week 2 blahs, then I just might end up at goal by Easter. Wouldn't that be a hoot?

Hope everyone has a great day.

Good morning.

Well after one day of solid foods my weight is up 2.3 pounds. Expected and very ok. Plus TOM showed up last night (perfect timing with Dh coming home tonight ). My plan remains and will remain as long as I feel ok- juice in the morning, fruit for lunch, large salad for dinner. If I lose weight doing this ill add some more to my mid afternoon eats.

Relaxing and cleaning today before Dh gets home. I'm so glad I have him back for a few weeks!

Hello ladies!!
Just a quick update about me: yesterday I reached my low of 137, from the previous Saturday. It took me 5 days to get back down. Since I am the queen of sabotage, I then proceeded to have buttered popcorn at the movies, and cheese breadsticks last night. I didn't weigh this morning! OH, and I had WAY too much SF candy at the movies, and was feeling horrible the whole rest of the day. Usually malitol doesn't bother me, but I was miserable yesterday.

The good news is: I got 5 beautful avocadoes so I am ready for some fat fasting next week, as long as they ripen up!

AND, any of you who have read The Hunger Games, you HAVE to go see the movie. I feel like a crazed groupie saying this, but I really think that it was one of the BEST movies I have ever seen.

Have I read somewhere that when you come off a juice fast you need to reintroduce solid food a bit slowly and specifically that eating yogurt at first helps your system re-introduce the good things it needs? Course maybe you've already done that and I've missed it!

And DANG on TOM showing up just now!

I did 2 days of liquids and have only added in few solids in the form of raw fruits and vegetables. Protein and yogurt starts tomorrow. The gains are totally expected. I was empty of anything solid for 3 full weeks.

Riley, I am the queen of sabotage too! Boy, I understand this one...

And I have read all 3 books from the Hunger games and just waiting for the crowds to die down to go see the movie. I hate waiting in line for the good seats.. LOL, maybe next weekend!! Looking forward to it. Did you read the other 2 books?

WOE: one day at a time!! LC!
Start Date: July 14, 2003 - every day!!
Good morning my rogue buddies!!

Diva-WTG!! Congratulations on goal!! Enjoy that bacon!!

Erin- Wow, I have a lot in common w. you!! I too tend to self-sabotage. You see it, you own it, you'll change it! Today, you will lose whatever little water bump last night brought you. The weekend (w/ all it's temptations) is almost over. You can do it!!

DP-soo happy dh is coming home!! Enjoy your reunion and cherish this time together!!! Hope your reintroduction to solid food goes well!!

Brigit-so happy to hear you're doing so well this round. Are you doing the Rx drops? or injections? I considered if I ever do another round, trying the Rx. Enjoy that success!!

Doing well today. Felt like I totally overate yesterday at dd's tournament. Ate way too much trail mix while waiting for our turn to play. Ate bites of a Cliff bar, had my second serving of Voskos even though I wasn't hungry, was looking for more things to munch on. Thankfully our snacks are healthy and I was limited in my temptations!! I was pleasantly surprised that I was down to LDW today!! I have 1 more week of P3, then I get to dabble in P4.

Mine would never be pouty with me, but we don't communicate much. I know she loves me and this is her way. She had a *very* young mother who shared too much with her, and I think she shows her love by being much more hands off. If I have a question for her, I usually get a "whatever you think is best" response. I know she is showing faith in me, but sometimes I want direction.

There usually is not a diagnosis because there is no treatment. My twin had hers diagnosed, but it was because she had some brain damage and so they were ruling out many other things (sometimes those viruses in your spine can get to your brain too, epstein barr and others). What you have doesn't sound like chronic fatigue syndrome...shortness of breath sounds more like there could be a physical cause. Folks with CFS don't usually have shortness but they do get tired after exertion or exercise...there's no "energizing" feeling from exercise, and they'll be more prone to illness and heavier fatigue in the days following if they do it. Any cold I had used to last 6-12 weeks...was never over in 3 days. Lowcarb really helps keep me controlled but I'm still not the same person I was 15 years ago. Still, really improved over needing 12-14 hours of sleep a day. Now I'm pretty good at 8-10. Whereas when I was in top health...7 hours was all I could use. Will your doctor check you for iron/b-12 anemias? Check your heart too?

I am up a tic from my night out...I ate the entire steak, plus a few bits of naughty stuff (onion ring, bite of crab cake) and lots of wine.

It was such a nice place, they treated us so well.
