What is the BEST P3 meal you have had?
I have 1 more VLCD then onto P3. I know it is problematic to think about food like this but I really want something super delicious on Tuesday! Even a chef salad with BACON, EGGS and ALL FAT DRESSING sounds wonderful!
So, what has been your favorite? |

When I was in P3, I enjoyed a ribeye with a big salad with egg, bacon and blue cheese, with a side of garlic mashed cauliflower with cream and cheese. I also liked the P3 pizza very much (Italian sausage and tons of cheese...mmmm). I really could have stayed in P3 pretty much forever...I loved everything I ate then.
HAVE FUN |

Oh... goodness... P3 sounds absolutely heavenly to me right now! P2... I can make the most of it, but seriously, there's a limit. I feel like I'm limitless in P3 by comparison!
Here's what I look forward to... -Omelets - always with cheese, sometimes with onions, sometimes bacon, sausage, leftover steak or pot roast, a combination of these things... really, so versatile... you can't go wrong. -Salads - like you said, with that full-fat ranch dressing... cheese, hardboiled eggs, bacon, maybe pieces of chicken or turkey in it too. -Bunless burgers - I don't even need buns any more (though you can use oopsie roll buns if you find the need)... but with sauteed onions, bacon, cheese melting over the top... sometimes I also throw a fried egg under the bacon and cheese. It's just so good! - Smashed cauliflower - I cook the daylights out of some cauliflower and smash it up (like mashed potatoes), with butter, sour cream, and salt. Sometimes I add a little onion soup mix too. Plus you can use green onions, bacon bits, and cheese to make it a "loaded" fake potato dish. -Zucchini alfredo - I slice the zucchini lengthwise into fettucini-size strips, boil it, then serve it with an alfredo sauce that I make with melted butter, parmesan cheese, sour cream, and garlic powder. (Real garlic might be better, but I keep it simple.) And I just learned in my last P3/P4 that I love to make milkshakes with a base of 1/3 cup HWC, that I whip before adding other ingredients... then 2-3 raw eggs, a cap-ful of vanilla, and sweetener to taste. Sometimes I have it as just a vanilla shake like this, but sometimes I add cocoa powder; frozen strawberries (or other berries); or frozen cubes of pumpkin with pumpkin pie spice and cinnamon. If you put this mixture into the freezer and stir it up every 30-60 minutes it can start to become more of an ice cream than a shake to be drunk through a straw. Either way it's sooo good! Have fun heading into P3! |

That's the cauliflower I do too...sometimes I make an enormous amount of it with some blue cheese mixed in as well and pipe it into a casserole...so it's pretty. Top it with fresh parmesan/romano and bake until it's golden and crispy on the top. My family fights over the stuff

I did well with nuts and dairy, so I liked GY with pecans or walnuts, coarse grated unsweetened coconut and sugar free chocolate chips for breakfast. Or lunch or dinner
I make protein pancakes with Jay Robb protein, eggs and cottage cheese...they are awesome with loads of butter and Walden Farms Pancake Syrup. And bacon |

Too many things to list, but right up there on the top.......a nice salad with all the trimmings: lettuce, tomato, avocado, cheese glorious cheese!!!, blue cheese dressing. And then there was the crabmeat I fried in butter--a half a stick of butter. Oh, my!!! I am drooling just thinking of it Can hardly wait for P3 and I have just re-started P2. I have a long time to go before I can enjoy this. Oh, well a girl can dream, right??!
Lucky you Donna. Enjoy all the yummy goodness!! |

This is from genaw.com aka Linda Sue, this is my hubby's favorite and he's not LC lol!
WHITE CASTLE HAMBURGER PIE 1 pound ground beef 1 packet onion soup mix or seasoning mixture (see recipe below) 2 eggs 1/2 cup mayonnaise 1/4 cup heavy cream 8 ounces cheddar cheese, shredded Salt and pepper, to taste Brown the hamburger with about half of the onion soup mix or seasoning mixture below *; drain the fat and season to taste with salt and pepper. Stir in the remaining soup mix or seasoning mixture and put the meat in a greased 9-10 inch pie plate. Stir in half of the cheese, then top with the remaining cheese. Whisk the eggs, mayonnaise, cream and a dash of pepper well; pour evenly over the meat. Bake at 350º for 30-35 minutes. Let stand 10 minutes before serving. Makes 6-8 servings Can be frozen * If you're wondering why I only mix half of the soup mix with the meat while cooking, then stir the rest in later, that's so it will flavor it a bit, but you won't lose most of the flavoring with the grease that's drained off. Serving Suggestion: For a true White Castle experience, top each serving with dill pickles and mustard. Or, make a sauce of dill pickle relish and mustard. Per 1/6 Pie: 490 Calories; 41g Fat; 25g Protein; 5g Carbohydrate; 1g Dietary Fiber; 4g Net Carbs Per 1/8 Pie: 368 Calories; 31g Fat; 19g Protein; 4g Carbohydrate; 1g Dietary Fiber; 3g Net Carbs SEASONING MIXTURE: If you'd like to save a few carbs, you can use onion powder and dry minced onions in place of the onion soup mix, which has 16 carbs per packet. I used a mixture of 2 teaspoons toasted onion powder (available from Penzeys, or use regular onion powder) and 1 tablespoon dry minced onion. I also sprinkled a little onion powder in with the egg/mayonnaise mixture. The carb count for the recipe made this way is: Per 1/6 Pie: 476 Calories; 41g Fat; 24g Protein; 3g Carbohydrate; trace Dietary Fiber; 2.5g Net Carbs Per 1/8 Pie: 357 Calories; 31g Fat; 18g Protein; 2g Carbohydrate; trace Dietary Fiber; 1.5g Net Carbs UPDATE: Someone named Julie sent me an email to let me know that she successfully made this recipe in her crockpot. She lined the crock with foil, to save on cleanup, and cooked it on HIGH for 2 hours and then on LOW for another hour. She suggests spraying the foil with nonstick cooking spray. Her one complaint was that the topping was a little skimpy because of the size of her oval-shaped crockpot. She suggests either to use a round crockpot or increase the amount of topping that's called for. Thanks for sharing your idea, Julie!

I'm also curious if anyone comes up with other flavors - chocolate, vanilla, strawberry, mixed berry, and pumpkin are all fine and dandy, but I'd love to find new things I haven't thought of yet. Oh... I have done peanut butter too... but I hear peanuts are not technically for P3. But aside from that... I can't think of what else to try. I suppose some extracts could help with developing some more varieties. The one thing I really wish I could figure out is cookies and cream - but without the texture of the real broken up cookies in it, I don't know how to do that! Oh well... at least this is one way to solve the problem milkshake cravings. ![]() |

After being on P2 it makes you realize just how valuable mayo, sour cream, salad dressing, hwc, etc. really are!
These are a few of my favorite things: avocado mixed w/ a little guac seasoning & lemon juice - eat w/ a fork! veggie omelets w/ bacon or sausage on side cobb salad w/ ranch taco salads w/ the works including SOUR CREAM & jalapenos! zucchini crust pizza cheeseburger pie cream cheese mousse chicken salad/tuna salad mug cake HOT WINGS w/ celery & BLUE CHEESE!!!! The cheeseburger w/ fried egg sounds awesome as does the zucchini alfredo! There's a new chicken/cheese pizza crust that Jeanette has posted about in the P2/P3 thread. I'm def going to make it first week of P3! I think it holds up unlike the zucchini crust.
