Good job, Dawn! Yup, I'm back for round two and trying to stave off the baby crazies long enough to through round four, in total. I am SO wanting another one but I need to get this weight off, Oy!

Lara, I hope the biopsy is clean!

VLCD #32 and i am down 19.8 lbs. Getting kind of discouraged knowing i don't have much time left, and I haven't lost like i thought i was going to. I am going to try and go for 13 more days, and try like heck to get to as close to 30lbs off as i possibly can.

Still sitting at 143. This round isn't working for me, so I'm trying something drastic, and then moving to P3 within the next few days. I'll be back for round 3 because I know R2 HAS to have been some sort of fluke. Bah!

Hi all....I haven't posted in a while. I've done well n phase 2 - down 10 pounds in less than 2 weeks since starting the round. I have had a setback - real bad cold/allergies. I've had to take cough syrup and I've been eating a lot of soup - obviously not Phase 2 items. I stopped the drops yesterday morning - I figured I was wasting them. After I'm feeling better and not take cough syrup anymore, I'll start the drops again and go right back on P2 foods.

My question is, can I just start up on P2 again or should I start over with loading, etc.

Thanks for the input. I need to get caught up on everyone's news.

Marilee--Hi there!!! Nice to hear from you. That was me last week. It was my middle child's birthday and I knew I wasn't going to follow P2 all weekend long (ate in restaurants all weekend long). So I stopped the drops on Thurs, ate regular all weekend and just picked up P2 and drops on Monday. It was less than the 2 week leeway Dr Simeons' gives in his protocol for taking a break so I just started right up!! Didn't load, did enough eating to consider it a load I feel ya on the cold/allergy thing. I am dealing with the same. I say cold, everyone else says allergies. I am confused as to what I have but I have not had any issues losing with my body under attack. Feel better soon hon

BUSY week!

Hi All!

I've been so incredibly busy this week that I haven't had any opportunity to see how folks are doing and to post my progress. I am STILL at 158--I have been all week. BUT, I know that I am shrinking--I can just tell. So I keep telling myself to hang on and that whoosh will come. Patience. Patience. It's hard, though, because when things start slowing down-or stopping, as the case may be, I get restless and start trying to "dink" with things or start thinking that there is a "better" way. But, I am feeling pretty proud of myself for sticking with it this week. I've had an extremely stressful, crazy week that would typically send me straight for the snacks and probably a glass (or two!) of wine. But I've been able to resist. Tonight when I got home from work, I weighed myself, even though I typically make it a rule to NEVER weigh myself after I do it first thing in the morning. When I did it tonight, I weighed 158, so I feel fairly confident that I will see a drop tomorrow. (I hope so!) This diet is effective, but it is tough. Anyway, I'm trying to stay in my "zen" place and do this the right way. I know I had the most success on rounds where I "followed the rules!"

So, I haven't read posts yet, but I will do that right now. I hope all is well! Have a lovely night!

Kay

I'm at 187 now for 4 days!!!!!!! UGH! I think you don't do the apple day til 5 days of being at the same??? I've been seeing bernice every 2 days since Sunday and my tummy has been achy once a day every other day. I have no idea... I've also noticed my tummy growling more this week when last week it didn't AT ALL. Maybe it's from the extra release?

My meals looks like this:

apple at breakfast w/ green tea or spicy tea
lunch/dinner usually turkey burger/grilled chicken/grilled tilapia w/ either cucumbers/cabbage/green beans OR P2 chili - (I think I've had 2 bowls of the batch I made.)
I've not been having my evening fruit this week b/c I'm out of strawberries.
I've not been doing the melbas - well I had about 4 pcs left and have eaten them over the course of this/last week.
I had popcorn twice this week in place of the melbas (little rogue) 1/2 a bag about 100 calories.
I've seen bernice every other day w/ tummy being a little upset AND my tummy has been growling this week when last week it was not AT ALL!
I am about to start a new bottle of drops this afternoon as used up the rest of a bottle I opened on Jan 2nd.
Aside from the green beens here and there I also had 1 serving of collard greens last week. I mostly eat cucumbers.
I lost 10 the first week and have been stuck ever since. Any ideas for me?

Good morning! Down 9.8 pounds here in VLCD7, to 178.8. I'm almost back down to my LDW from the last round, so fingers crossed I can pass it and reach 169 sooner than later.

All my P2 ickies are now gone and I have energy again, so working out has been fun. I don't have the calories to manage more than the basic TTap workout, but it's not making me weaker hungry, either, so I am fine with doing light exercise to not want to consume more in P2.

I'm on my period and all premenstrual bloat is gone (whew!) so I'm just peachy today!

Hi Dawn, congrats on the nice loss! I have a question... I've cheated a bit lately, (which kills me because I was doing so well). Do you stop the drops because it will mess up your system to cheat and do drops OR do you just not want to waste them?

Thanks!

Morning Ladies! My stall finally broke. I was prepared to do an apple day today but won't have to after all! Down 1 pound to 186! My losses for week 2 will be slim but I guess I'm farther along than I was before will try not to complain!

In late April after P3 I'm going to try JUDDD to lose a few more before my mini vacation b/c I know I may gain 4-5 due to the drinking alone that we endure! Then once back from that trip in late May and all of June I plan on doing JUDDD as well IF I CAN HANDLE JUDDD that is...I may have to do just LC. But the benefit of JUDDD seems to be that I can have that pc of cake at work at our monthly birthday celebration if I want to, right? When on regular LC all cake is OUT pretty much...I will try to do the LC JUDDD method.

Anyway, ya'll have a great Saturday!!! CONGRATS to all who are ROCKING P2!!

two more pounds GONE!

Yippeeee! I woke up to a pleasant surprise this morning: a second morning of 2 pound loss! I'm down to 154.5 this morning, after being stuck at 158 all week. Yay! 2 pound losses are uncommon for me during the second week of a round, so I am pleased. I just wish this would continue! In all liklihood, I will stall here for several days as this is an old set point for me and it can be tough to break past it.

on another note, congrats Baileysgirl for breaking through! Nice job!!

Have a gorgeous weekend, all!

Moonriver - Stayin' strong! Resist that temptation! One of my favorite quotes I've read is "Nothing tastes as good as skinny feels."

Baileysgirl - Awesome! I'm at a bit of a stall right now... perhaps I can follow your lead?

Kay - Yikes, girl! You're on a roll, seriously! You're catching up to me! I'm stalling around 153-153.2... for now.

This was my LDW and roughly where I was through most of P3 last time, but I've gotta plow past this! Today is D21 for me, the magic day that could be my last, but there's no way! I've got 8 more pounds to reach goal... no matter what it takes. Only about 3 pounds though to finally be in at a "normal" BMI instead of still in the "overweight" category... so I'll consider that my next big victory.

I'm doing great! I've been down the past few days to 11.0 pounds down from my load weight high, which at VLCD8 is really good, for me. I'm hoping the rate will hold up but I'm not better on it

Natasha, I'm SO glad that stall broke for you! Woohoo!

Honestly, at this point I don't want to waste them. The hcg doesn't leave our system completely for 48 hours so I figure if I skip a dose here or there (or in my case last week knew I would be off plan for the weekend) it is OK for me to not dose. I am on my last one and a half bottles and not sure if I will be able to get any more So when I should be steadfast and perfectly on plan, I am not able to do so. So I am just conserving my drops for the one (or 2) times I am not going to be following plan.

I think it also makes for a bigger gain if you cheat WITH the drops. So if I am off-plan for a day or so, I will stop the drops for a dose or so.
