hcg at walmart
saw this yesterday, it was drops and blue pills that you swallow, wish i would have looked at it a little better---anyone else see this, not that i would use them--- i like the intermountain from netrition----thought that since they were taking most of this stuff off the market i was surprised to see it there---selling price was 19.88-----it was a new display, it wasn't there last week

Aren't the homeopathics hormone free as well?
Why is the FDA trying to pull them. Because they DO have hormones, or because they DON'T? ![]() |

I noticed on netrition that some of the homeopathics have hcg in them and some don't. |

Yeah, the ones in Walmart proudly state on their bottles "Hormone free" so they are different than the ones that I have bought in the past that have the dillution on the bottle. I don't know metqa the answer to your question because that is what I thought too. But then my supplier had to reformulate her hhcg to contain NO hcg. I was like "HUH"? Anyhow, the ones that are in the stores now don't work and I won't buy them. I would truly be cautious and read the labels. Make sure the dillution is on the bottle (the numbers 12X 6X will be on the label if they are the "real deal").

My understanding is that they cannot claim they contain HCG because that is not approved for OTC sale, only by prescription. There is an approved list of ingredients that can be marketed in homeopathic products, and this isn't on that list.
I had to go research it because I thought the problem was in marketing HCG as a weight loss method because the FDA doesn't recognize those claims as valid based on research. Apparently that is not the reason. |

I noticed that the brand of drops that saw me through my first round has now been replaced with a "hormone free" one so they were affected by the recall.
I have a friend who tried the hormone free brand at Wal-Mart and lost only 12 lbs in a 40 day round. She was looking to me for answers because she stuck to protocol (mostly) and was extremely dissatisfied with the results. All I could think of was that it was not as effective since it did not contain any amount of hcg. |
