I'm still bouncing around that same two pound range, though I am at the lower end of it today-- not sure if I want to keep this up, and just hope the stall breaks, or what .... I'm thinking I will finish the bottle I am currently using, and call it a round.

Yesterday was a fat fast day -- I fasted completely until about 5 pm, at which point I was getting shaky and weak, and decided to eat.

Today will be a fat fast too -- at least with that I have good energy, which I need given that I am working myself to the bone this week.

It may be that my body just refuses to go any lower than this with hcg... if so, then I need to make peace with that and master maintenance. All in all, I am looking pretty good, so this isn't a terrible place to call goal -- its total vanity pounds that I am still wanting to shed.

I may do an egg day tomorrow, and see if that helps. I also really might give another go to protocol in a week or so -- but with tons of heavy lifting and physical work, I just can't do it right now -- I need every ounce of strength I have, and then some.

In the "the last thing on earth I need" category -- I acquired another bird, lol!

A baby pigeon had apparently been attacked by a predator (I'm thinking probably a crow)-- and managed somehow to crawl through the roof of our building, and ended up in the upstairs neighbors' apartment.

They found her -- nearly starved to death -- on their floor. So, who you gonna call?

I have her now -- and she's recovering well. She's sweet as can be, and imprinted to me right away, so I am momma bird She sits on my shoulder, sticks her enormous beak in my ear, and peeps (and poops all over me). She's so tiny and frail that her beak looks 4 sizes too big on her at the moment -- that's common with the babies anyhow, but much more pronounced with her due to the starvation,

Her wounds are fairly superficial, but the starvation nearly did her in -- I suspect she was up in the roof for a couple of days, at least. I have her on antibiotics and am hand feeding her bird-formula, though she is eating some solid food too -- and I am hopeful that she will make a full recovery.

I'll need to build another hutch -- lol. There's always room in my heart for one more bird... but finding room in our house is a little more challenging.

And on that note, my new little darling needs feeding right now...

Cheryl-- I could use "one or two men" who love to cook right about now and a few who are muscle-heads as well -- maybe just some sensitive meatheads who cook -- that would do the trick...lol!

Is it ok if I still hang out here with you all? I promise I wont tell you all what I eat on my up days. Although I'm going to try to stick to healthy foods. Just add in foods with fat to increase calories.

Tay -- you had better hang around... you're one of us!

I decided to do an up day/refeed day today -- no particular reason except that it seemed like a good idea -- I did almost all fat today.

I'l shoot for a very, very low day tomorrow -- and see if I can keep that up for a bit. I doubt I'll weigh tomorrow, but probably will the next day. I think I've more or less resigned myself to having lost as much as I am likely to lose on this round -- but I figured I'd do one more refeed and resume, and see where it gets me.

It's 11pm and I'm just now getting to our little thread. God-willing I'll be able to read the posts and get caught up tomorrow. I have nothing planned. But for now, here is how my day went:

OMG! How do you extract goat pellets from their bedding w,out removing the bedding??? It reminded me of chocolate chip cookie dough. How do you remove each chocolate chip unless you use your fingers? I used the shovel for the couple of piles I could see, then I also shoveled a couple of areas that appeared to be wet, then I just tried to consolidate the straw and remove the moist straw, and then I laid down some fresh bedding, just to make it look like it was clean. That's all I could do!

But the one time I turned my back and bend over, Ellen butted me! I LMAO! She is so funny. I just love being there on the farm.

I'm not sure why the animals weren't turned out when I got there this afternoon but it was the first time ever that there was "nobody home" when I pulled into the driveway. I didn't even notice it but the house door wasn't even locked. It didn't occur to me that it was odd until the other woman showed up with the key, ready to open the door.

I worked with the founder of the Therapy center today, like she was another volunteer. I had no idea she was such a great, approachable, terrific woman. Now I know.

I came home, got cleaned up, kicked back and then finally used by squeaky-clean spa tonight. OMG! I had forgotten just what a blessing it was to have. Lord, forgive me for taking it for granted for so long. I hope whoever buys it appreciates it more than I do.

I'm pooped and now I'm going to copy and paste this post onto my other threads. I am NOT typing this all over again.

I think I am going to go protocol for the next couple of weeks, and see if i can bust this stall. If I feel horrid, I will rethink -- but maybe a couple of protocol weeks(after all this fat) will be okay -- I have more heavy labor to do tomorrow, but after that, it is just a lot of elbow grease and mental work from here on in.

Tomorrow, I will do an egg day - that will get me through lifting a bunch of heavy display pieces up stairs, etc. Then, I will start with protocol.

Why not give it a shot? The worst that is likely to happen is that I don't lose, and maybe get dragged out more, in which case I call it a round.

Maybe, however, I can break this stall! I hope the reload helped -- I need something to get me rolling here, as this is the never ending stall from HE*L !!!

Good morning!

Am back doing leptin reset this morning. According to calories in / calories out for the last week, I need -60 per day. LOL, obviously not right and some of my weight is due to TOM bloating, but I can tell things have stalled.

I'm back to 127...basically no progress for the last two months on the scale, but 1/2 an inch off my waist and bust and 1/4 inch off hips (that's total inches since January 7th).

I will see how this week pans out...should lose some TOM & sodium bloat and hopefully not gain anything "resetting". Just finishing my big breakfast now.

Paula, how do you do your leptin reset? Is there a way to put it simply? I've been to the site and not being mathy at all my head starts spinning. I understand the big breakfast - after that I'm not sure.

Well most folks go dairy free but I still include cheese. So a breakfast with 50 grams of protein, then I have a light lunch (not very hungry) and a more substantial supper. No snacking. I include plenty of butter and coconut oil and chocolate. The meals should be spaced at least 4 hours apart and dinner eaten well before your bedtime.

The no snacking's going to be hard after allowing it for the last 2 months!

Thanks paula. I do try to get most of my food in before six or seven, but I do more of a large breakfast, smaller lunch, very small dinner. I wonder if that would be within the boundries of the idea?

Hi! How are you? Yes, he graduated from basic and he has a 36 hr pass this weekend (lotsa talk time!) and then he starts OSUT. Thats suppose to be 4 wks, but they did alot of it during basic so they just have 2 wks of it and the last 2 wks they're doing paperwork and stuff. Just to pass the time. He had to buy new uniforms today bc he has outgrown his. he has gained 20 lbs! Hes so excited now and I'm very happy for him.

Oh yes, I only do the bigger supper cause I'm hungrier by then. The size of lunch/dinner can be whatever you want! The only requirement is breakfast - 50 gram protein minimum.

Today is my first VCL with the Rx. I loaded very well and gained 3#. I had only half the coffee I usually drink due to limiting milk to 1/4 cup, then ate a small "Cuties" orange at 9, which leaves me another for later on. Lunch was chicken stir "fry" with several kinds of allowable veggies (mainly cabbage). I had also planned on having a greens salad since the garden is bursting with lettuce, spinach and chard. A greens only salad is a free food on OWL. Well, the salad is back in the fridge untouched. About 2/3rds the way through the chicken meal I hit the wall. I felt so stuffed there was no way I could eat another bite.

So I'm off running on this round.

Hope everyone has a great day.

The scale was down 1lb for me today. I really hope it sticks. My mental capacity for dieting is still really tough, but I am getting through. Kids don't have school tomorrow, so hopefully they will let me sleep a bit.

I only have 2.5 weeks left of Insanity! I can't believe I have gotten as far as I have. I can't wait to be done!

Hope everyone is doing well!
Keep on plugging! I didn't realize Insanity came to an end. Just thought it kept on going.

There you are! Now I'll be able to remember stuff you say. Care to share a first name? We can just call you TxLady if you want.

Sorry to hear that about your sister. Bad blood? You can choose your friends but not your family. Well, at least you don't need to go see her anytime soon.

WTG on writing Q's for the professional boards! You must really know your stuff, lady.

I'm sorry you are struggling right now, Cathy. That's great that you're back to working out again! That was a long hiatus, and all from that silly ankle debackle.

I'm in the 70's, too. I haven't been trying to lose lately and found that I'm in this strange place of liking where I'm at right now. Imagine that! But I am going to slowly take off at least 10 more, just to get back to where I was really feel good in my skin.

My HCG journey has gone very rogue. From 4 days of fat fasting, but eating way too much fat, to an EFGT day gone bad, the egg day was a success and I am back down to 147.2.

Todays plan- follow protocol but add a bit more fat. Cream in coffee. Two egg yokes etc. I know I have portioned out chicken so I could do a chicken chili p2 style, just need to get organized. I have such a mix of stuff in the fridge, specifically for the fat fast, no veggies except spinach. I feel like I have been at the store daily, and I have with such a mix of WOE.

Happy Friday.

Total Loss 8.0 pounds
You are indeed a rogue! Nice losses! KUTGW!

I'm hoping for more, but at my age weight does not come off fast and I don't want to set myself up for disappointment. I'll be ending this round in time for Easter but have frozen the Cadbury Creme eggs for a reward when I'm through however many rounds it takes to get me below 150. I hope only two.

Glad to see so many folks are successful in going rogue on this plan. I'm not sure I could wrap my mind around the pure Simeons plan any more. But if push comes to shove, I shall as I really need to get this weight off for health purposes.

Have a great day folks!
Happy last loading day! No corned beef + cabbage? I hope you lose well this round.

rogues!

Having a quiet day here at home. My oldest is sick with a fever and just over all not feeling well. Hopefully she will wake up feeling better tomorrow.

Didn't weigh today. Had tacos last night and I indulged and enjoyed every minute of it. I really don't feel that bloated and don't think I am up all that much either. Will most likely weigh on Monday.

Hope you all are having a good Saturday. It is quiet 'round here!

Did nobody like my goat story yesterday?

I'm picking up one morning shift at the farm. It will be every Monday at 0900. Time to see how the other half lives. Also, with hot weather coming, mornings might be all I can stand!

I also scheduled a trail ride at the place I went to back in November. It wasn't great but it's a whole lot better than not riding at all. So that will be Sunday, 3/25.

I heard back from the chickie who was looking for help with her horses and looking to rent out one small bedroom. Remember her? Well she rented the room I preferred to someone and told me the room I didn't want was still available. So I just wrote back and said, "Thanks." Then later on, the devilish side of me came out and I wrote her another email. In it I said I'd take the furnished room if she moves the furniture out of there and into the basement, and if she will allow me to set up my treadmill, desk and computer down in the basement. Then I told her I'd only pay $500 for that room, since it's smaller, has no closet at all and I'd be doing the horse stuff.

I'm really just messing with her head and getting back at her for pulling such a cheap-shot on me. She should have just said that she'd found two roommates closer to her age and been done with it. But to say she rented out "my room"? That's just juvenile. If I did live there, I'd be gone as much as possible.

Haven't been sticking to budget or a diet but I'm going to work on both. I'm just truly pretty content where I'm at! It's a good place to be, Mon.

I used the hot tub last night for the first time since I cleaned and refilled it. Heavenly!

Hope everyone is doing well today. Hugs all around!

Didn't weigh today. Had tacos last night and I indulged and enjoyed every minute of it. I really don't feel that bloated and don't think I am up all that much either. Will most likely weigh on Monday.

Hope you all are having a good Saturday. It is quiet 'round here!
I hope dd feels better soon! "Quiet"? I'm typing my brains out over here!

Aren't tacos great? Glad you enjoyed them.

He had to buy new uniforms today bc he has outgrown his. he has gained 20 lbs! Hes so excited now and I'm very happy for him.

I'm good! Just so busy I can't see straight. How exciting...another month and then Ranger School? Amy is very close to being done in Virginia. As long as she passes there (she's been doing great...hasn't had less than a 91 on a test so far) she is about 3 weeks from moving on for the longer part of her AIT. Probably around the middle of April, she will graduate the 832nd ORD BN in VA and then head to Eglin for the longer portion, which is another 29 weeks (probably another 8 months by the time they get them moved, settled, and start classes down there) So...maybe get her Crab between Thanksgiving and Christmas, I'm thinking. Hopefully she can take a little holiday leave at that time.

Guess the BCT food wasn't too bad! I think Amy stayed about the same weight, but she is older and had been playing college basketball for four years. At 5'11", she was already a big girl.

No limits and you aren't really supposed to count calories. I just do out of habit cause I'm messed up that way.

And yes, loved the goat story!

Found a salad dressing the whole family seems to love (just olive oil and vinegar with one clove garlic). Nice to see them eating their greens lately!

Really paula! I'd be afraid not to count.

So nice to see you, Debbie! I've signed off from the other thread just for reasons of my own, so I never see you anymore. I miss you, though! I miss all of you over there. Just not enough hours in the day anymore. My dance card has filled up considerably in the last few months! I'm so glad to hear how well Amy is doing. God bless her! And you! You still rocking maintenance? Uh-huh.

Yea! Someone loved my goat story! Well, if Leptin Reset is really that simple, maybe I'll do it when I'm back on a "getting-up-early-in-the-morning" routine. That is about to happen, due to the farm. I don't do well with the heat so my only hope is to transition to a morning shift. I start on Mondays and I'll see how it goes.

Mmmm! That salad dressing sounds wonderful! Simple bliss.

Never heard back from the Chick I antagonized out of fun (horse/room/rent/shaft.) I almost hope she goes for what I suggested because whatever doesn't kill you only makes you stronger. I'm ready to pounce on that challenge! I'll make it work. I'm that focused right now.

Some are focused on weight loss, I'm focused on horses. All I care about and all I want is to live and work around horses. I've been bitten by the bug and Lord knows there is no cure! Mini knows! I don't know how she's transitioned into birds from horses. Yes, birds can be great, but how can you give up horses once you've been bitten?

Anyway, it's 2240 and I must give up the conscious ghost. It's time for bed and I'm going to have to "cool down." It's so hard when so many things are raging around in your head! I wish there was an "off switch." Oh God, why didn't you install an off switch?

Well, another super quick check in from busy land -- I have been moving heavy objects all day (stuff for the end of year show -- I am building my display racks).

I decided to load today, and possibly even tomorrow too -- it is the perfect time to do it, since I am burning half of it off anyhow, lol.

Then... it's protocol, baby. No more heming and hawing -- I am doing this by the darn books for a minimum of 21 days before p3. I'm ready. I do think I will likely load tomorrow too, but we will see how my hunger is in the morning.

I'll weigh when I am done loading -- I got another random TOM, which is throwing everything off anyhow -- but I am really ready to be done with this phase of things, so I am going to do it, and do it right.

Actually...I'll fess up. David finished his 50 day, 50 lb round and had only used about a week of his second bottle of RX drops...so I thought...what the heck? I so enjoyed the relief from inflammation when I was dosing before, so I decided to do another short round. It's been awesome. I'm rogue, but staying close nutritionally (I use fat free GY and fat free no carb cheese as well as all my Dr's things from my first round). Losing the same as the first round which means I will have to add protein and slow/stop losing this week. Can't go but another couple of pounds and will still have about 9 days dosing left. I will finish out the round and do a full P3 and hope I am as lucky in maintaining as after round 1. I sure feel fab again...no aches at all is just a miracle. I also lost a little nagging bra roll that makes it easier for me to wear cuter bras instead of the major bits of engineering I normally wear. I like that.

So that's what I'm up to.

pretty much yeah I checked with the fam and they all said it was ok and Merry promised to let me know if I started looking bad. So far, I think I look the same except maybe just a little more "girlish". Not a lot of difference...only about 7 lbs (but I started 4 below my LDW, so 11 below my last round's LDW). BMI is 20.3 and I should stop losing pretty quick but will finish out the dosing to increase my chances of a happy P3-4. I'll double my protein and finish out the round. I tell you what...RX HCG beats NSAIDS all to heck for inflammation control. I don't know whether the hhcg does as well or not, but this stuff is just miraculous. I wish there was a way to stay on it forever.
