Loading Question

I'm starting round 3 next week. I typically do an "all-out" 2 day load where I focus on fat but eat a good amount of sugar and carbs as well. I'm hearing people talk about doing a low-carb, high/healthy fat loading process.

I typically lose all my load weight the morning after VLCD #1. Doesn't matter if it is 2 lbs or 4 lbs. If I were to do this low carb and possibly gain loading, it is possible I would lose more than load weight on VLCD #1?

I'm just wondering if there is any weight loss benefit to doing low carb loading. I know there are the health benefits and less of a carb/sugar crash withdrawal situation. I just haven't had problems with that if I only load for 2 days. And if it doesn't change weight loss I do slightly enjoy some of the sugar I eat.

My husband and I loaded Atkins induction style. We both lost big during our load. We used RX HCG, so loaded for three days, but I lost 6.5 pounds *before* my first VLCD, and he lost 9. If you've been low carbing you might not drop quite that much, but a fat fast is usually good for a couple of pounds at any time. It is the fat that keeps you from being hungry during the first VLCD week as well.

I just loaded today and it was NOT LC! Too late for me to try that! I also use loading to endulge in the things I miss but it has made my tummy very mad at me!

Let us know if you do the LC Load if you lose more like Diva did...Good Luck!
