MsHistory, how much do you use for your dose?? The other kind, I used 10 drops, 3 X's per day. This bottle, I am going to do the same, even though it says 1 ml, twice a day. The other bottle said 1ml, twice a day also.

Lori -
I just stuck with the 10 drops 3x's per day. I was only using that one for my midday drops (while at work) but I decided to switch to my bottle which DOES say hcg on the label. I think it's helped with hunger, but I really feel off this round. I can't concentrate, I'm horrifically moody, I have headaches behind my eyes... I'm not sure if this is related to my drops. I started rounds with the Platinum X30, but never finished. (I am ashamed!) The bottle is much bigger than the original though, so it's lasted quite a while! Let me know how it goes for you! |

My body seems like it likes to toy with me. I nosedived into some (well Ok a lot ) of stuff I should NOT have and have started yet another round let's not talk about which round I am on Just know that you are not alone. Let's do this together. I am on here til I reach goal, hoping that it won't be that far off. I won't even list my stats until I am where I was when I left off last time (those stats to the left are from the last round I attempted). Anyhoo, here I am warts and all to shed the weight. I am so sad that the hhcg is getting so hard to get. I got a couple of extra bottles at the beginning of the year when I heard that my supplier was forced to reformulate my usual hhcg. She had to produce it without any hcg in it Hating on the FDA right now ![]() I have heard that Netrition has some good hcg.....just make sure the numbers are on the label. The ones with 12X,6X,30X are good!!!

It's only day one of VLC so who knows? I didn't gain as much as I thought I would on the loading days - I actually felt sick to my stomach with all of the food I was eating and was so full I didn't eat as much as I had planned. I wasn't used to that much fat. |

The other stuff I had, the NioGen, said hormone free on it, but the Platinum does not. it is a blue bottle, and it is hard to read the stuff on it. The other Platinum worked fine for me, hpefully this does too.
Lori Well, I just looked the Platinum up on the internet, and it is hormone free. So, I still have the wrong stuff, but hopefully it still works for weightloss. In my mind, I am just going to pretend I don't know! Last edited by LoriSax; 03-12-2012 at 08:13 PM.. |

HI DAWN!! It's so nice to see your face--and lots of others, too! I'm sorry to hear that you have had to deal with the same demons as I have.
I'm totally with you this round. LET'S OWN IT! Let's do it right and get control of the food monster once and for all! Quote:

Morning Ladies! Day 2 and down 2 pounds...I'm actually going to enter my food into ****** today to see how many calories I ate yesterday. I did mix about 4 bites of steak w/ my tilapia last night. Am wondering if this is why I only lost 2 pounds. Guess I was hoping for a bigger # on Day 2! ![]() |

Forgot to say that I'm down 1.2 on my 9th day vlcd. I have about a week and a half left. I'm already drooling at p3. Went to costco after work yesterday and my favorite swiss cheese jarlsberg is on sale I wanted it so badly. I will get two of them before the sale is over. It was food porn all night after that!!! I fell asleep watching the finale of The Bachelor, I was so mad at myself. And at him for his choice in fiancees. She is so awful, ugh!!

Ugh, please help me....
Day 4 at 140.something. This morning I woke up retaining so much water I had "sausage fingers". (Does anybody else get that, or is it just me?) But yesterday, I did NOT have more sodium than I typically do. And TOM is gone as of yesterday, so seriously WHAT GIVES?! Does hcg itself cause water retention? My water intake is stellar, around a gallon a day. My menu was similar to every other day. I am so frustrated, and I think I will do an apple day tomorrow. (I would have today, but can't.) I'm on day 16 and have only lost about 7-8 pounds. This is NOT how it's supposed to work and I am frustrated! (Not to mention moody, emotional, and seemingly braindead...) What is going on with me this round?! |

HI ladies! So, down 3 pounds this morning on Day 2 of VLCD. THANK GOODNESS. I can't even explain how out of control I have felt for the last six weeks. I would lose a few pounds, and then gain 5. Then I would lose another couple of pounds, but by the end of the week, I would gain three. Over the course of time, weight just kept creeping up. I felt like I could NOT control my eating--I would do ok for a couple of days, and then crash. I know I am not explaining anything new, but it just feels really good to feel like I am back in control. The most difficult part of this is that my DH does NOT want me to use hhcg for weight loss again. He is pretty much against taking medicine unless absolutely necessary, and supported me through my first two rounds last year, but now....well, now he thinks that I should have "figured it out" as far as my weight is concerned. I understand his view--but it's just not reality for me. He doesn't want me to yo-yo, or add chemicals to my body. I get it. I even appreciate his concern. Heck, I agree with him! But this is the ONLY method that has worked for me. So, unfortunately, it means that in order to do this diet, I have to do it "under the radar," so to speak. It's kind of hard to disguise only eating 500 calories a day! He DOES know that I am cutting out fat and sugar and eating the foods on Simeon's protocol, which he is totally in support of. (Who wouldn't be? They are healthy, whole foods!) It's just the addition of hcg that he is unaware of.
I don't like it, but I am desparate. If he asks, I'll tell him. I'm just not going to advertise it. In fact, I'm not going to advertise it to ANYONE. This round is about me. Quote:
I'm so impresed! I am always in awe of those who have the stamina to go for the full 40 days. That takes determination and focus. I am sure you will reach your goal and will stabilize there beautifully. Your hard work WILL pay off. ![]() Quote:

Are you stalled, or are you just retaining water? If you follow Dr. Simeon's Protocol Apple Days are not for "fixing" water retention, they are really only done for psychological reasons (per P&I) when you are firmly stalled for over 4+ days (it might even be 5+ days, I can't remember exactly). I wouldn't suggest doing one to "fix" retention.I would just give it a day or so and continue on as you are. You sounds like you are doing great!! And your water intake is fantastic! I think that sometimes our body just thumbs it's nose at us, and we may never "get" why it's doing it on any particular day. Anyway, that's my very cheap two cents! For what it's worth, which isn't much. ![]() |
