Okay, so I am finishing off my second reload day, and it is off to the p2 races for me tomorrow... I can't wait! I've read a few accounts of people reloading between halves of a long round, and doing really well, so I am hoping that will be the case for me.

I'm going to eat just a little more before bed, and then hit it good and hard with the p2 tomorrow, and just hope, hope, hope this does the trick!

It's pretty funny -- for someone who used to fear loading, I do it with the best of em now! Lol.

Let's do this ladies -- I know I am not the only one starting a new round or a new leg of things tomorrow, so let's do this together.

Excited about your trip, Sass!

Okay, I am ready to embark on what *should* be my last p2 ever... I hope!!!

I'm so well loaded that I really doubt I am going to want to eat anything fatty for quite a while (remind me of this later in the week, lol!)

This was a weird load -- One very high calorie protein and fat day, one fat fast day, and then today which was high calorie and almost entirely fat calories. I am pretty darn fat-saturated!

TOM very much here, so I won't bother weighing tomorrow -- I'll just wait till it is over and see where I land after a few good p2 days. With TOM and the load, I imagine I'd see a pretty frightening number on the scale in the morning! I may regret having done this second load day, but I figured what the heck. I'll jump up for a bit, and undoubtedly retain a bunch of water -- but it'll probably come off fast too -- and doing it at the same time as TOM allows me to ignore the load gain, since I'd be bloaty and feeling fat anyhow.

I'm shooting for a clean round, my style. Mostly protein, some veggies, and a little bit of fat every day -- not a lot, but enough to keep me running well emotionally and physically.

I'll shoot to do a clean run for at least the 21 day minimum, and then to the end of this bottle if need be -- and a proper transition to p3, and a clean p3 --

Whoohoo, ladies -- I am ready to be done with this, so bring it on!

Soooo -- Violet, Riley, and I are all coming off loads tomorrow and into the VLCDs -- that's nice to have company on this journey!

I'll probably do protocol calories for at least the first part of the round, though more protein and less fruit-- and hope my GI tract can take that. I'd love to shed the load gain, whatever that may be, and then some -- so I think I will take full advantage of having loaded and really go with the VLCDs as long as I don't have hunger.

Maybe this will end up being the totally magical round where I have no hunger at all -- that would be miraculous!

You know I noticed this round that I have had problems with bad breath. I think it is the whole low carb thing but I didn't notice it during my previous rounds. Although I have to admit I've been struggling with ulcers this round from stress.
Today is my last VLCD w/o the HCG. I am sooo looking forward to my protein day tomorrow. I gained 1.8 lbs the day after my last HCG shot and ended up weighing 175 lbs that day. I decided to take that weight as my "set" weight anyway. I am down 1 lb yesterday, and I don't know about today as of yet. We'll see. Maybe I should have taken the weight from the last HCG shot day instead, I don't know.
Other than that everything else is going ok. Sounds like everyone else is doing ok on theirs too!

Marking my spot. A VERY sleepless night and I have to open early once again. I'm not happy this Monday morning!

But, after 4 cleanse days I'm down a total of 5.2 pounds. Im down a pound today and back just above my body's comfy weight. I hope to break through 110 this week and move closer towards goal

Best of luck everyone!! Let's do this

Jackie, great losses so far on your cleanse. I didn't get much sleep last night either and can't wait to be in my bed tonight. I'll probably fall asleep on the way home.

Good luck to all of you who are starting p2 today! Will be cheering you on and supporting you all! Make this round your best yet!

Sass, your trip does sound like so much fun! Sorry that this round is fizzling out, but focus on that trip! How exciting!

We are pretty much packed and ready to head home in a couple of hours. I am going to do my workout here soon. The workouts this month are 40 minutes instead of 40 minutes. And I previewed it last night and I am going to be hurting, but I can't wait to do it.

I am feeling the bloat from last night's dessert, so I am sure that I am up, but I don't care! It will come right back off! And I am having major PMS so that doesn't help.

Have a great Monday!

I suppose I could consider Saturday a "load" day. 136 carbs, 2350 calories. Was 1200 calories yesterday, but still gained 1.6 over night from 2 day effect. So I'm up 3.6 from Saturday.

Hopefully it will be off super fast this week...hate seeing the same numbers over and over.

Good Morning! Here we go! R4VLCD1 and I'm starting @ 165.2 (a 9-pound gain from both loading days combined and I think an all-time high for me). Since February 12th, I've gained 19.4 because I let interruption days get really out of hand. I must've done at least five (the first one being Christmas Day) which I had planned - the other ones were just excuses. Anyway, onward...it's all up to me and I know what to do. I'm looking forward to feeling lean, I could not stay out of the bathroom from all my loading food. I posted what I ate yesterday on last week's thread and to look at the list makes me feel .

I'm grateful for you all, have a wonderful day!

WOE: one day at a time!! LC!
Start Date: July 14, 2003 - every day!!
Good morning girls!! A nice fresh new week!!

Min-good loading!! Hope that fat sticks with you all week!! I'm sure you're feeling much better now and hope this really is a stellar last round for you!!

Paula- on the gain. Hope it comes back off quickly for you this week!!

Violet-Woo-hoo! you're back on VLCD's!! You can do it!! That gain since Feb is all "new" lbs, I bet they'll come off really quickly your first week!!

Sass-I wonder if you're losing inches while you're in this stall. I know you mentioned losing some off the top. How are your clothes fitting? You're such a trooper finishing it out even w.o reassurance from the scale!! I hope you break your stall today!! Maybe this is just an evil set point you'll need to power through?

TX-enjoy P3!! I'll be there in a few days!! Can't wait!! Take whatever LDW you like. I will likely do the same.

Cat-how are you? Are you doing basic LC these days? Hope your foot is better and you're able to get back to workouts!!

Stacey-any gain will go quickly. I admire you for controlling your portions so well while dining out!! And your new workouts will continue to whittle away your body!! You go girl!!

DP-great losses from your cleanse!! and at having to get going so early again today!! Can you and all the kiddos nap toghether?

I'm only down 0.2 today and kinda' hungry. I'm debating skipping dosing today and moving on to P3 in 2 days. Not sure. I want to go another dosing day, I was planning to make today my last day dosing. Not sure. Going to finish my water and see how I feel. I may dose this morning and then if I'm still really hungry do a mid day last dose? Not sure. I don't like being hungry and am really spoiled as this round has had minimal hunger after that first week. I feel empowered to decide to stop whenever I want to. Nice feeling.

Hey Julie!!

Nope, not low carbing, was doing WWPP for a few weeks and getting control of my "binge/purge" cycles, but I ate bad on friday and saturday and yesterday I started slimgenics... I actually go into the clinic 3 times a week, they kind of help you, and guarantee weight loss (haha, we will see...) but they say 3-5 lbs a week, using thermogenesis... I have not had the "class" yet, which will explain more, just started the prep day, which is like a CD on P3... just unlimited proteins cooked however, no sugar, no starches, etc... and you do this for 3 days... (as your prep) and then will start the diet ... which i have not seen yet... go to class tomorrow for that. Got weighed in there, measured, before pics UGH!! LOL

But maybe the structure, in clinic accountability is what I need ... since nothing else is working for me, so I will update if I have something good to report. I guess they are only in Colorado, California and ..?? montana maybe? cant remember the third location..

You are doing great though, look at you in the 140s!! Whoo hoo! You are rocking it this time around!! congrats!! Jealous!!!!

P2 today! Though what I am doing doesn't really resemble protocol foods, but oh well. I took the day off of work so I slept through breakfast, having my coffee now. I have my menu all planned out for today, and tomorrow's will be the same. I didn't weigh this morning because yesterday was a very bad load day, for me...cookies. cornbread. mac n cheese. I was scared to peek. But, yesterday morning I was 144. I would love to be down 10 pounds before my break on March 17 but I think that's shooting a little high.

Good luck to the rest of you gals starting today/tomorrow!! I'm excited! I feel 'in the game' now and mentally ready this time.

Today is my last VLCD w/o the HCG. I am sooo looking forward to my protein day tomorrow. I gained 1.8 lbs the day after my last HCG shot and ended up weighing 175 lbs that day. That's a bummer about that last dose weight being up that much. But maybe you're better off taking that one. Just see where you stabilize out at and then maybe choose the lower LDW. I wouldn't try to maintain an unreasonable number.

There's a lot of "not sure's" in that post, Julie. You've done so well this round that I don't blame you for not wanting to stop it while there are still a few more shots. I think you should finish them up and then do your 3 days of VLCD off the hcg. Just weighing-in!

Cheryl-Hope you have a great round!! Did you have fun loading? Hope so!! You can do it!! and I am on the pellets. I get confused btw getting greedy on the scale while wanting to get as low as I can, and growing weary of P2. I think I'll just do a regular P2 day, with all 3 doses and call it a day. Thinking tomorrow I'll start my 2 days w/o pellets and then on to P3 on Thursday!!

Had my apple. Going to make lunch a bit early - 11am b/c I'm hungry. I'll be fine. I'm learning, like others here have mentioned, that a bit of hunger won't hurt me!! I have softball tonight . Looking forward to it!

See, I told you I didn't sleep well last night!! The workouts are 60 minutes instead of 40. I made it through the first one and I did waaaay better than I thought, so I am very happy about that! I must have pulled something in my ribs the other day because they are killing me on my right side. I know it is the strenous workouts, but they still hurt. Some good old ibprofen helped. I know a good night's rest in my own bed will help too.

We had a great time, but I am happy to be home. I can't wait for my girls to get home from school so I can squeeze 'em!

Cheryl, Erin, Mini and Violet, good luck to you all on this round. I know you will all do fantastically!

Julie, so what did you decide to do???? I will say, you still did lose, so you are in VWT!!!

Off to put DS to nap and then I may get a cat nap too.

Good Monday everybody! Kudos to everyone who lost and hang in there to those of US who didn't this weekend.

I may finish out this week on hhcg and then either do a reload or go to P3. Can we do P3 for like 2 weeks and then go back to hhcg? Remember, I'm fairly rogue, in that I don't eat the grissini or the fruit and do up the protein and fat a bit. But I think I would like to do a stop/start over and see how actually following the protocol works for me, complete with the scary bread sticks and fruit.

I also think my body is resetting at this weight and I should just let it for a couple of weeks. I've lost a bit over twenty lbs since the first of Jan.

What does the collective wisdom here say?

Cheryl, how did the Saturday events at the farm go?

Blessings and Good Day wishes to everyone!

Back from the doc's. He fussed just as much about the too low calorie days as the high days. Sigh. But said I looked good.

While I was there I saw his dad, the hormone doc, too. He said take saw palmetto for the hairiness. Yay for a simple solution!!

Here's the stats per his Tanita Meter since February 7:

Weight down 8.8
BMI down 1.4
Body Fat % down 1.6%
Body Fat Mass down 5.8
Fat Free Mass down 3

I gotta wonder whether that reduction in :"fat free mass" is losing muscle. I hope not. but more motivation to work out a lot during the break.

He said to stop taking the HCG today to get ready for the trip, but I'm not gonna. I'm finishing the bottle. I know I can do P3 even on vacation and I'd like to see this stall break before I quit. I'm doing this 6 days at as close to protocol as I can. I'm determined!!!!!!! I didn't come through this stinking round since the day after Christmas to quit when I might lose another pound or 2. Dangit.

Go Rogues!!!!

P.S. this random website I went to said to lose the rest of my 20 pounds by August, I need to eat 1200 calories per day. I think I'm going to shoot for doing Atkins within that calorie limit after I transition to P4 this time.

I'm going to order saw palmetto and a carb blocker from netrition. Anybody know the best carb blocker?

Round 2 HhCG: 182 - 14 = 168;
Round 3 HhCG & RxHCG: 168 - 16 = 152.4.
R4 Hhcg: 152.4 - 2.2 so far...

Crazy losses, Disney! How excellent!

Paula -- I hate that second day effect -- grrr! You really are doing great, so keep it up -- and maybe the unplanned load day yesterday was a good thing.

Violet -- I hear you on the rapid gains -- that happens to me sometimes too -- I wouldn't stress the load weight too much, since that tends to drop off for most people pretty rapidly -- and those interruption days? Well, they're over, and now it is time to remove all the traces of them from your body!

I have no idea how much I gained loading -- I didn't weigh -- it will be weird doing a round without that reinforcement up front, but I am committed, and I do find it freeing to be off the scale. I know the load weight will come off -- I am not worried about that.

Mini, you go girl. After my 2 fat loading days this weekend a la Atkins style, I had no change on the scale today. So po poo I say. I'm going to eat a lot of protein and am planning to roast some veggies in the oven with some kinda light oil on them - will see what I have around. Meat and veggies and low low carbs for next 6 days. I left the fruit train a few stops back. But I gotta kick the melbas. I was eating 5 per day because OWL says you can. I think the carbs were killing me. I'm going to see if I can get some veggies (cauliflower, brocolli) to come out kinda crunchy by oven roasting them. Anybody got any recipes for that?

Thinking tomorrow I'll start my 2 days w/o pellets and then on to P3 on Thursday!!

Nice!! Sounds like a good plan!! It'll be great to have the structure, plan and weekly accountability. I am one who usually does better w/ structure. I hope it works well for you!! I know you can do it!!

Had my apple. Going to make lunch a bit early - 11am b/c I'm hungry. I'll be fine. I'm learning, like others here have mentioned, that a bit of hunger won't hurt me!! I have softball tonight . Looking forward to it!

Happy Monday. May it be a great week!!
Oops! Goofed on that one. Got you confused, I guess. Hope your P3 goes wonderfully! What a feeling it must be to be at goal! (Or am I screwing that up, too?)

Oh! 60 minutes! That's a big jump up from what they were. Hope you don't pass out, girl. Between your pulled "right side" and my pulled "left side", ain't we a pair? Ibuprofen is what keeps me going, too. The Prednisone is being tapered-off and the discomfort is returning. Not quite "pain" yet but it might become pain again when the Prednisone is done.

Enjoy all the mushy hugging, kissing and squeezing of your little ones! Hope you got a nap in.

I didn't go. Plain and simple, that's all I'm going to say about it. I'm guilty as charged. I will see tomorrow when I go for equine care at my regular time if there is any fall-out. I hope not. I'd really like to put that behind me and move forward, rapidly.

Those numbers look encouraging, Sue. I'd be asking for clarification on that lean number loss, too. I think we always lose some muscle mass when we are extreme dieting, maybe when not even extreme dieting. Growing old; isn't it a *****?

So they want to keep you on the implanted hormone and just give you the Saw Palmetto or is this just to treat the problem with this current implant?

Good for you, staying off the scale! I hope it gives you a measure of peace and freedom. You know you're doing everything in your power to reach your goals. Now it's time to rest in that.

Poo poo times 2! I have no idea how to do the roasted cauliflower but if you are going to use a light oil on them, I'd go with olive oil that's misted from a spray bottle. I used to (back in the bad-old days) make these frozen Perogies in the oven. I'd spray them with olive oil flavored Pam and they'd brown up beautifully. Maybe you can try that!

I'm on VLCD1 and I'm doing it but I'm in a deep funk. I know I will be feeling much better very soon. But until I do, I'm going to be laying rather low. Here's to a great week on plan and lots of great results from our good behavior!

MMM olive oil flavored PAM sounds pretty good. Thanks, Cheryl.

I don't think I'll do this implant again. Unless the saw palmetto really does wonders for the hair growth. Consiering I consulted Dr. L in the halllway without making an appointment I got all the info I felt I was entitled to. LOL.

I'm doing well today -- looking to come in somewhere in the 800 calorie range I think, fat and protein, and a little bit of carbs from veggies (part of a tomato, part of a small avocado) -- not much hunger at all -- just enough to want to eat, and feeling very sated on the other end of it.

I hope this is low enough calories/etc. to bring on the losses I want, and I also hope it will remain this easy for the rest of the round!
