Waves feebly Hope its just sinus - extreme sore throat!! I'm going to have to break down and take a sudafed. Mmm hate those.

Weight is same which is good. Fingers very puffy, so I might drop some more water weight in a couple days.

tx, sounds like you did a good job on the plane. I hope that your trip goes well and that you have foods available to you.

Disney and Sass, I hope you both feel better. I have never had sinus issues but my MIL does and it seems so miserable.

Erin, NICE drop!! I think you can do 5lbs in 9 days! KUTGW!!

TOM arrived today which is fine. I am only up .5 from siggy weight which is down .5 from yesterday, so that is good. I had a little incident with some mixed nuts last night, so I am surprised the scale is down. Also, I am so incredibly sore from my workouts. My upper body is being pushed, but I know it will pay off!

The raw milk is just absolutely delicious! I can't wait to make some yogurt today! Am gonna have some of the beef tonight for dinner. I love being able to support a local farmer. And she was so sweet and was so interested in the adoption. We talked for a good 15 minutes when I picked up. She's got a customer in me!

Happy Thursday!

Thank you scale! Back down to my weekend weight in one big drop today (2.4 pounds). That was nice after my midweek P3 day! Now hopefully I can break into fresh weight in the next 2 days.

txlady You made good choices, hope the scale treats you well.
mini Yeah for thighs!
dp & sasseaux Hope the headache is gone soon!
riley Great drop!
Gremom I've always wanted to try raw milk! It's hard in texas, you gotta buy a portion of a cow and buy direct from farmer. However I live so close to farms it's something I should check into.
julie and others I missed this morning Hope you have drops!

The other day at the school a kid's mom approached me and congratulated me on the weight loss. She told me she didn't recognize me when she saw me (the kids had been in 2 different elementaries for the last 2 years before middle school). Then yesterday morning another mom (gmom actually) called me and asked how I had done it so she could pass it onto her oldest daughter, who had seen me and wanted to know. So strange how the kudos come all at once like that...

Good Morning! R4VLCD4 and I'm down another 1.8 - total of 10.4 pounds gone in only 3 days. Loading weight of 9 pounds is gone, plus an additional 1.4. You'd think the losses would slow because I have less to lose, but not the case (and I am NOT complaining). I'm grateful that I have a fairly fast metabolism. The only way I get results like these is to stick to 100% protocol. I'm so used to it, it's almost like second nature. Still fighting this stupid cold and I could stay home from work, but I'm so stubborn.

Julie, Gremom and mini - thanks for your kind works. We are all success stories.

Congratulations to everyone and make it a great day.

Paula!!! Yippee for the compliments!! That had to feel so good! Also glad to see that you are back down!

Technically that is the way we are supposed to buy raw milk too, but if you buy it as "pet" milk to give to your "pets" then that is the loophole. I am just so happy to be able to have milk again. It is so creamy and fresh!

Violet! That is all I can say! Congrats!!

Good morning girls!!

Mini-no worries! I'm not leaving. I'll likely not post as often, but I'll still be around!! I hope the scale is down today. I know how hard it is to get into the strict protocol mindset. Good luck figuring out which way to go!!

Paula- on the multiple compliments!! So nice!! I'm sure VWT is tomorrow for you!!

Violet-WTG!! Those are stellar losses!! You are doing great!!

Stacey-glad you enjoy that milk!! How was the beef? And down 0.5 is great! You're doing so well!!

Riley-nice loss!!

DP & Sas- hope you feel better soon.

TX-way to be strong. Hope you're down today!!

I'm down 0.6 to 147.6 (lowest weight ever!! ) and just had my coffe/cream. I really have very little appetite, which I'm surprised by!! so far, so good!! My tummy is a bit rumbly today, but I'm ok w. that. I know it's just part of the adjustment. P3, although scary is fun!!

Hmph -- I am still scale stalled (bouncing around that same pesky pound), and I may need to kick this way up a notch in terms of cutting food intake if I am going to see further losses-- but I am definitely losing inches, so I am not complaining. Plus, I am eating a lot more like p3 this week than p2, so I really have no place to complain...lol! This week has sort of ended up being an extension of my load days, and I haven't gotten back on track yet.

I think I will go back to a real p2 for a week or so, starting tomorrow -- at that point TOM should more or less be gone, or at least wrapping up. I cut myself some slack for the duration of TOM, which was a much needed break -- but I feel like I am wasting my hcg at this point -- so it is time to bite the bullet and really get back to business.

So--- starting tomorrow, I will finish out the bottle on a 500 calorie regimen that mostly resembles protocol, and then hit p3 for real. I'm ready to be done with this long, long round.

I am sure it will get moving again soon for you Zoe.

I think the slimgenics is alot like the owl program, but without the drops. 2 proteins, 2 fruits, 4 veges, 2 starches (like 2 pieces of diet bread) and 2 snacks and 8 oz of fat free milk. My calories are coming in around 800-900 ... we will see how it works. The first 3 days were proteins unlimited with butter/margarine whatever... but no sugar/starch/dairy, etc... interesting! I am also taking vitamins and carb blockers...

Violet -- your losses are really inspiring me -- I think maybe I need to take your lead and just finish this round protocol, or at least very, very close to protocol. It's only about 3 more weeks, and I can do that.

I think I will be joining you tomorrow!

Okay -- there -- I updated my signature. I will start protocol tomorrow -- or, actually, right now, though I've already had a p3ish day, so I won't really be having a protocol day till tomorrow.

I just need to stop heming and hawing, and do this. It's three weeks, and once I get into it, it will be fine. I just need to start, and stop hedging.... so, done. I am starting right now.

I want to blast this 10 or so pounds to the curb, and then I can enjoy p3 indefinitely and without any guilt. Bring it on.

Just a drive by to say I'm still alive! Been that kind of week with everything from the washer to the computer and whatever inbetween breaking down on me. My weight was up to 144 with an unexpected arrival of TOM (ok, not unexpected but 4 days early). Today however I weighed in at 139.8. It's been a long time since I've seen the 130s! I'm guessing now that TOM is packing up I'll have another drop tomorrow. At least I'll be starting the weekend at a low number so I won't have any guilt for cheating Saturday night!

More later. I THINK my computer is fixed. I had a friend come over at lunch and take a looksie at it!

Melanie-sorry about the conspiracy against you by your electronics. Glad you're back online and down on the scale!!

Plugging away and enjoying P3. Keeping more fruit in this round (if I can) and hope to stabilize well. I'm ramping up slowly.

Thanks for the vote of confidence Julie -- I think protocol will do the trick too, and I am ready to do it -- so no more stalling (procrastinating) and hopefully no more stalling on the scale either!

Zoloft, wellbutrin, etc. have all worked at times. I think this hormone implant is a big help, even with the hairiness. Right now I'm taking HTP which is over the counter anti-depressant stuff. I still see my psych. regularly . Its so hard to pull out of it and get help when you just feel like crawling under the bed, but if you can just put one foot in front of the other and keep trying you will find the right thing to get through it. We are here for you and praying for you to keep trying meds and supplements until you find something that works for you!!!

I was stressed and worked late. Then, I called my boyfriend from my office and said "Have you eaten yet?" which means, of course, "will you buy me dinner?" Ha ha. He did. I had grilled shrimp. Eyeballing it, I would say 10 ounces at least. But they were pretty "dry" with not a lot of oily junk on them. Man, I could live on shrimp. No simple carbs today, all chicken, brocolli and shrimp and salad with Walden Farms. Had a nice time just talking together with boyfriend. We are pretty old (He's like 62 and I'm 51) so sometimes we take it easy. LOL.

Hope for good news on the scale, but don't know with eating so late. Will drink lots of water and go to bed.
Thank you, sweetie. I am feeling bunches better today. I have cut my Cytomel down by half and I don't know if that has anything to do with it or if it's simply coincidence. Perhaps it's just because the "depressants" (wine) are leaving my cells. Whatever it is, it's a wonderful thing to feel it lifting off of me. I will take better care of myself and do whatever is necessary to feel well. That's more important than being thin. If you are thin and ready to slit your wrists, what's the point? (Just exaggerating.)

You're doing great on your plan and I love taking it easy and just "being" with someone. I'm happy that you have such a man in your life.

I ate badly before I started and went up my normal 10 lbs of water weight, and am now back down below that... today is the first day on plan, which is basically 2 proteins, 2 starches, 2 fruits, 4 veges... and supplements. so we will see how it goes. It cant be any worse than I was doing, so I am trying to be hopeful. If I hit a wall they have "adjustments" and plateau breakers... and supposed to lose 3-5 a week. I hit 5 on their scales (which was before the bad eating and dressed with shoes) but at home since bad eating before and such I show it down about 12... normal me though...

Cheryl, hugs hun. Sounds like its going rough, but it will get better.
Good luck on your new plan, Cathy! Sounds very reasonable to me and I'm sure the support and accountability will give you the edge you've been needing. Hugs to you!

Where did you fly off to? I forgot. I hate flying these days, post 9/11. It's such a drag. WTG on doing the best you could to stick to plan. It's hard when you are on the go. I hope you have a good time, wherever you are right now. When you coming back home?

Either way- 1 week of my cleanse down and I know I've lost 5 pounds at least so I'm please. I'll weigh every few days. I want to really focus on other aspects of my life right now.

Not feeling great this morning as my allergies have left me with a terrible sinus headache I'm going to run this evening and hopefully the day will go smoothly

Hope everyone has a good morning
I know this is an old post but I hope you are feeling better, HA wise. WTG on the 5 lbs! Focusing on other things as opposed to mainly the scale (IMHO) is a good move. Though when I went too far between weigh-ins, I actually found I wasn't doing as well as I thought I was. Keep it in moderation and you'll be fine.

Nice drop, Paula! VT is at the door! And how cool is that, all that recognition at the school!? So how did you answer their inquiry of how you lost the weight? That's always a tough decision. Do you tell all or do you play it safe and say, "Diet and exercise!"

Oh, crap. I hate when life just caves in all around you. It makes you wonder what the hell you've done to deserve it! I hope things settle-out and get better for you quickly. You're doing great with your weight, too!

to everyone I didn't quote or comment on. Mini, girl, what's new, woman? Sorry you're bangin on the rocks again. Let's pray for the tide to come back in and take us back up off the gravel bar!

I'm doing well with avoiding booze (aka wine) and have been letting myself eat whatever. But all that ends tonight. I will be doing a liquid fast for about a week to break this "spell" I've been under with all things "excessive." It's the right decision for me and I'll bet that I'll be down 10 lbs by next Friday morning. Especially the way I pack on and then shed the water weight these past few months. It's scary!

I'm feeling much better and I thank God for that. Thank you all for your prayers and well-wishes for me. I was in a dark place and I'm glad to see the light again. I will get even better by following this "recovery plan." I did the farm thing today in the office. That woman stretched my brain and it HURT! But I learned something new and it was a great feeling of accomplishment when I actually did the task at hand. I didn't think I'd ever get through it.

It was almost 70 degrees today! Tomorrow it is going to be nearer to 50 but this is nothing to cry about. What a wonderful winter we are having!

Coming up for air. The day turned out ok. Sudafed makes me superproductive at work it turns out. Also makes me irritable. Had chicken, "guilt free" frozen coffee thingie and... more chicken. I've had an aversion to vegetables lately. Its funny cause back in my last P3 I couldnt' get enough veg. Now I don't want any - they seem yucky. Go figure. Scale stayed the same. Maybe tomorrow.... maybe not... I am getting smaller, I can tell by how my clothes fit. Yay!!

Good luck all keep plugging. Going to bed early. Night

I am getting smaller too, even though the scale isn't reflecting that -- but YAY for inch loss!

Cheryl -- I am so glad that you are on track for maintenance, and feeling better !

I wouldn't say I am bangin on the rocks -- just facing some much expected stress in life, and a bit stalled on the scale -- I have TOM, and it is running quite long (let's hope it doesn't go on forever, though!) -- I'm going protocol, and I am betting that breaks the stall.

I've been lax about the diet since my refeed -- not horrid, but also not really lb loss material -- so it is time to get with the program for me. I didn't eat today after my decision to do protocol, so I am on track for a good, clean start tomorrow -- and I will just ride the roller coaster to goal. With the recent inch loss, I think I will quite satisfied to maintain at 100, assuming my skin tightens up and the gooshiness goes away.

Oh, when they are just curious I tell them a starvation diet and get a laugh. But she was seriously interested, so I told her I always recommend Atkins or Weight Watchers first but that I had hit a wall with them. And then I told her about the hcg diet.

Dang scale, up 1.2 pounds this morning for no reason. I felt a bit crampish yesterday, so maybe I"m bloating. However it's super early for a TOM gain, but I guess life is unpredictable. I do feel a bit like stomping on my scale. I know I'm not any fatter though. I should just ignore the scale and only hop on it on Saturdays. I don't seem to have the willpower for that.

Paula, I don't have the will power for once a week weighing too. But I didn't weigh this morning because of TOM and generally I just felt like crap when I woke up and didn't feel like it.

Am headed to do my workout. I hope I get some energy here soon. TOM is kicking my tail and I am in a foul mood. My poor kids got a grumpy mama this morning.

Forgot to mention that it is mine and DH's 10 year anniversary. Hopefully I will be happier by the time he gets home. He is so awesome!

Morning girls!!

Tay-nice loss!!

Stacey-Happy Anniversary!! Congratulations!! Decade of love!!

Mini-hope you have a good P2 day and glad to hear about the inches!!

Sas-you too on the inches!! Hope that extra energy at work helps w. your review

Cheryl- glad you're feeling more in control. Hope you have a good weekend, enjoy that mild weather!!

Paula - stupid scale!!

I'm holding steady on day 2 of P3!! Enjoying it thus far, and only up 0.2 overnight, still 0.2 below LDW!! I'd really like my final P3 to be easier than my previous ones. I did loads of CD's in the past and am taking it really slowly this time around. I hope I can stay strong and in control this time.

Have a great weekend. Face those temptations w/ the bigger picture in mind. I love PrivateDiva's tag line - "I can have that later"!!

Sudafed sends my BP soaring! That stuff and I have had to part company. I'm glad it made you buzz around and get stuff done, as well as feel better. Sorry for the irritablility from it, though.

on "getting smaller"! I pretty much never ate veggies on P2 other than some Rotel tomatoes in my P2 chili and maybe a very rare salad with some WF dressing. I just told myself I'd enjoy real veggies (with fat) during P3. It was easy to live without them.

Not on track for maintenance at all. That is NOT the plan. I'm going to be losing again, just not doing anything that resembles a round of P2. I did load so that the hhcg will keep my hunger down as I do this liquid fast, but I'm going to be drinking Ensure, coffee and water. The cals will be somewhere around 600. Not sure (from memory) what 4 T of LWC are calorie-wise, but I'll be having cream in my coffee.

Best of luck with your renewed vigor and focus for a protocol P2!

Sounds like the perfect way to share about hcg. It kind of eases them into it. And getting them to laugh at first is a good ploy. I'm sorry for the bump-up this morning. I just hate those little suckers! I have tried the weekly weigh-in idea and found I had gone UP during those days when I thought I'd been doing well. I need to weigh more often and just suck-it-up if it's unkind.

Yippee! You're doing great without your rice krispies! (Or did you cave?)

I'm embarking! Day one of my week-long liquid fast of coffee w/ cream, (measured cream so I can track on ******), water and 2-3 Ensures per day. That's it and that's all. I feel good about it, knowing that I will be taking in nutritious stuff and not just "fluids." I looked at the ingredient list on the bottles and it was somewhat disturbing but it's not forever. It won't kill me!

Have an awesome Friday, ladies! And I hope you have an amazing and happy weekend, too. May we all be closer to our goal weight and goal clothes come Monday.

Doing awesome, Julie!! Going slowly is what I always have recommended for P3. I had no trouble stabilizing in the one real P3 that I did. All other rounds I attempted peetered out and faded away into something unrecognizable.

Cheryl, good luck with the liquid fast! I don't think I could do that. No Rice Krispies as of yet! I said "yet"! There's a huge box in the kitchen too because Chloe likes them. LOL I know its just a matter of time before I eat some.

I've still not tried GY yet. I'm going to have to finally take the leap and see what all the fuss is about.

I just found out that my sister and her daughter may very likely go tandem hang gliding at the end of this month! In Maryland, but still it's March and it's bound to be cold even if the weather is fit for gliding. I think they're nuts. I did go on Youtube and watched a video of a woman who was turning 100 doing it. She loved it and it was her birthday present from her family. After seeing it, I'd do it. But not until like May or June! It costs about $300.
