I know mini. And Dh tells me all the time that I'm not fat. And deep down I know it...but for me 20 pounds overweight is fat. It's terrible thinking on my part
With that said my mind is really shifting from this cleanse. Even Dh has noticed it and it's only been 6 days! He told. Me he'll support me as long as I want to do this and if I want to stay on juices while in Florida he is ok with that. I told him no way! I figure by then I'll be doing a juice for breakfast and a nice healthy dinner. At least that's my plan for now. I do know im going paleo after this cleanse. I'm ready to be the healthy nutritionist I used to be

Seems like maybe some things are turning around for you and for me, Disney -- in a really good way!
And yes, Gremom -- I was just about skipping out of the bathroom this morning with glee! Anyhow, I will adjust and tweak as necessary as I go, but I have launched what I really, desperately want to be my very last hcg round.

Good job Mini!! Looks like your body loves some fat!! I hope this round goes swimmingly for you!! You're due!!
DP-glad you're doing well too!! Fasting is hard, and I admire your strength! Stacey-It's coming up fast now (well, to me!!). So excited for you guys!! Enjoy that milk!! Cheryl- good on the adjusted goal weight. I do that often . I hope you're not overdoing it by being too restricted. I hope you're out of your funk too!! Doing well. Surprisingly not starving today. I bought mt beloved Voskos full fat greek yogurt and some blueberries and strawberries. I am SOOOOO looking forward to breakfast on Thurs. morning! Cream in my coffee and my GY . I know, it's not healthy to love food, but I do!! ![]() Have a good night. I'm taking dh to the airport. He'll be in CA until Sat. His car is finally done, but I can't drive up to get it and drive both cars home!! so it'll have to sit for a few more days. It's coming in at 1/3 of the original estimate, so that's seriously good news, an answer to prayer and .

Me too Gremom! I'm a peanut butter ho!
Got back from my doctor's appointment earlier, the lump on my neck is a lymphnode (like several of you stated) and the doc told me not to worry. She went into great detail about and said if it gets bigger (which it hasn't) to let her know. They weighed my on their scale @ 166.8 (this was fully-clothed, including my leather jacket, after I had a ton of water and was also wearing my shoes). The last time I was there I weighed 227 a year ago and I did not mention hcg. I told my doc that I've been watchng calories and carbs. Her jaw practically dropped to the floor. My lab work is excellent and my blood pressure has always been low - 116/80. I'm going to be cross-training for another position in my department to help out, beginning tomorrow. My supervisor asked me and the lady who's been training me is jealous. She said she'd let me think about helping the team out and I said she'll have her turn next time. She thought she could help out instead, but they asked me - not her. She has to be one of the most disorganized people I've worked with (the woman training me, not the supervisor). The sup and team lead just go through the motions and it's obvious they hate their jobs. They may be in leadership positions, but they aren't leaders. Someone doesn't have to be in a leadershiop position to be a leader. When I made the decision to get out of leadership - it was for my own sanity, but at least I was good at it. Nighty nighty everyone!

Hi girls! Just stopping in to say goodnight.
Cheryl, honey take care of yourself. I bet you could seriously enjoy eating some good vegetables and salads and lean meats. I have had major depression for many years. I'm not depressed right now, but I know how hard it can be. Sometimes, vitamins have done wonders for me. Abilify worked well for me for awhile, but then it made me sleepy all the time. Zoloft, wellbutrin, etc. have all worked at times. I think this hormone implant is a big help, even with the hairiness. Right now I'm taking HTP which is over the counter anti-depressant stuff. I still see my psych. regularly . Its so hard to pull out of it and get help when you just feel like crawling under the bed, but if you can just put one foot in front of the other and keep trying you will find the right thing to get through it. We are here for you and praying for you to keep trying meds and supplements until you find something that works for you!!! I was stressed and worked late. Then, I called my boyfriend from my office and said "Have you eaten yet?" which means, of course, "will you buy me dinner?" Ha ha. He did. I had grilled shrimp. Eyeballing it, I would say 10 ounces at least. But they were pretty "dry" with not a lot of oily junk on them. Man, I could live on shrimp. No simple carbs today, all chicken, brocolli and shrimp and salad with Walden Farms. Had a nice time just talking together with boyfriend. We are pretty old (He's like 62 and I'm 51) so sometimes we take it easy. LOL. Hope for good news on the scale, but don't know with eating so late. Will drink lots of water and go to bed.

I had a good protein day! I did go a little rouge but I'm sure I'll be fine! I got up late, almost lunch time (obviously I was tired!) so I decided to go and have my eggs anyway. I went and had an egg and cheese omelet with a side of yummy home made salsa and yes, I drank a glass of milk. Then about 5pm I had a flank steak with cheese on it and a big glass of iced tea, sweetened with stevia. Oh and I had a piece of string cheese for a snack...almost forgot about that.
Wish me luck on my trip, considering that I will be at the mercy of work when it comes to meals, the only one I know that I will be ok with is Breakfast since the hotel has a restaurant that makes eggs to order. Working lunches and dinners...yikes that could be sooo dangerous. |

LOL about your "old" comment, Sass! My guy is turning 59 next month.
I am a pretty darn young 44, but there is something to be said for taking it easy sometimes, too. I'm a little hungry tonight, but am okay with weathering that out -- I am reminding myself that I probably won't be doing this too much longer, and that is a great feeling I want to get the losses rolling now, so I can move on to a good, clean p3 soon |

Good morning. Quick check in though I'll be back later. My family of 3 is still sick so it's only my son and 3 year old boy today. They are awesome together so I'm going to have an easy day. Yay!
I didn't weigh today. Decided to wait until tomorrow and get my first week total with the juice cleanse. Im hoping for a nice number tomorrow to round out my week. I expect next weeks losses to be a bit slower but I have my hopes up that I can keep losing steadily Last edited by DisneyPrincess; 03-07-2012 at 04:50 AM.. |

Got up at 5:30 and did my workout. I am up 1lb, but that was 2 hours before I usually weigh and my body is so sore from the workouts. I am not worried about it at all. That is normal body fluctuations. Off to take the kids to school and then fingerprints and the farm. I hope you all have a WONDERFUL day! ![]() Oh, glad to see I am not the only PB addict!! ![]() |

Good Morning! R4VLCD3, I'm down 4.6 (total of 8.6 in 2 days
) and almost in "virgin territory." My loading weight gain was 9 pounds so that's almost gone! The most I lost in 7 days in previous rounds was something like 12 pounds. It looks like I may exceed that.I lowered my goal to 135 which is only 21.6 pounds away and I know my round needs to be at least 23 days. I was thinking if the weight continues to fly off like it is (I know it will slow down, usually average .60 per day), I may do one interruption day to go to our favorite sushi place, but maintain full control of what I put in my mouth and keep it at the one day. We're all geared up for our Vegas trip in June. On my previous rounds, I was drinking a LOT more water (five quarts) in addition to my coffee, green and herbal teas. I lowered that to one gallon so maybe I was retaining some water before. Cheryl, hang in there - I got to the point where I said "that's it!" I've got to do something about this weight. ![]() Have a great day everyone. ![]() Last edited by Violet_Dream; 03-07-2012 at 06:16 AM.. |

Down almost 2 this morning....to 141 point something (I forgot already). Yesterday I also had almost 1000 cals..whoops! Today I'm going to reign it in a bit, coming in around 700 today. Last night I also made some cream cheese/coconut oil/chocolate/almond bites for a FF, probably tomorrow.

Nice weight drops everyone! I'm down .4 today -- that's just fine. I'd be thrilled if I could maintain that rate of loss for a bit --
Once I see the other side of 105, I will REALLY be doing a happy dance, since that is such a sticking point for me. I also suspect I may end up interspersing fat fast days into this round, Riley -- though I will try to stick to the higher protein, moderate fat for now. I honestly think as long as I keep the calories controlled, I will lose -- but that remains to be seen. I do think I will whip up some of the various fat fast chocolates to have on hand though -(cocoa bark and variants of it! ) TOM still quite here -- it's running a little long, but that isn't unusual for me, especially after the three months where it didn't show at all. Hoping that normalizes a bit more for me after I am off the hcg -- |

Violet and Riley-Great losses!! you guys are smokin' it!! WTG!!
![]() Stacey- you've got the right perspective on the scale!! I'm sure you'll be even smaller by the end of the week. Mini-hope the scale keeps going down for you!! Sas-I'm only 42 and I like to take it easy too!! My party days are long gone. A nice dinner out and games w. friends makes me happy these day!! ![]() I'm doing well. Had egg/egg whites w/ spinach for lunch (need to use up egg whites I bought, I can't imagine I'll use them in P3). I'm nice and full now. I have been really hungry today so I'm confident my body is burning through the hcg. I gained 0.2 overnight, while sticking to protocol. So that's about 4 days right around LDW (148, 147.8, 148, 148.2). I hope that means I'll stabilize more easily. I was dreaming of being below LDW to start P3 (there's still hope-tomorrow!) but if not, I really hope that this stall will lock in the LDW number. I guess we'll see. I'll be sad to leave you P2ers. You're all doing so well!! I will be jealous of your losses, but working hard to maintain mine!! ![]() Have a good hump day!! |

Julie -- you better stick around during your stabilization phase -- we need you here!
I'm ending up doing more like EFGT proportions today -- fat and protein, but a lot of fat. That's fine, as long as it yields consistent losses for me -- If not, I will switch it up a bit! |

Julie, I second Mini, you better not go anywhere. Heck, I am not even on HCG and I am here!
![]() Violet, girl, you are awesome!! Great losses so far! And glad to hear that it was just a lymph node! Mini, yay for a loss! I hope your strategy pays off. If you stick to .5/day, you'll be at goal in no time! Erin, glad to see that you had a loss too! Yippee!! ![]() Paula, I for some reason, have gained self control with pb. I used to eat tons of it, but now a smaller amount will do. Glad you lost some of your bump up weight.Sass, I am only 31 and I like things chill. I was never one to go out a party. DH and literally did nothing on our trip. We went shopping one day and out to dinner another. The other days were spent chillin' and walking on the beach. That is my speed. We got our fingerprints done today! Then I went way out yonder to get the beef and the milk. I must say the milk is fabulous! I am gonna make some yogurt either tomorrow or Friday. Mmmmm! ![]() |

Well, at least for today, I find I am going back to an old strategy (that worked, albeit rather slowly, in the summer) -- a combination of EFGT and IF (how's that for an alphabet soup!?)
I'm doing one meal a day, early in the day, protein and fat -- and then fasting the rest of the time -- I tend to eat this way pretty naturally. I was actually rather hungry this morning, and I think my morning meal is going to net me somewhere around 1000 (maybe a little less) calories, so I will definitely be sticking to non-caloric liquids for the rest of the day. I'll keep roughly this approach up for the next few days, and see where I am at the end of TOM -- if this nets me regular losses, I will keep going with it -- and if not, then I will move to something closer to protocol for the last three weeks of this bottle -- pretty sure I can get a full 30 days out of it, so this week can be play and experiment time, and there's still ample opportunity to finish with a clean 3 weeks if this doesn't yield the results I want. Once a rogue, always a rogue... can't be helped....lol! Last edited by minimonkey; 03-07-2012 at 12:23 PM.. |

BTW -- I find it interesting how many of us have portion control problems with peanut butter or other nut butters. I sure do!
I know that is a common binge trigger for people who binge -- but I'm not a binger -- I just have a few foods that I have trouble controlling intake with, and nut butters are on the list. I can do it, but I do have to be vigilant about making sure I watch portions. |

Today turned out to be more like a fat fast day than anything else -- I ended up eating some coconut bark that I was making -- so I ended up somewhere in the 1000 ish calorie range, but with probably a bit more protein than I should have had for a true fat fast day -- -hmph.
I can't seem to get quite on track with this second leg of the round -- I hope I figure it out in the next couple of days. In any event, today wasn't a disaster at all, but it was something of an out of the box experiment, and I am interested to see what it yields. I'll try to kick myself into high diet gear tomorrow -- that should be easier, because I won't be home all day working on a stressful writing project, as I am today. Thurs and Fri this week I will be on the road most of the day, so that makes things a lot easier -- and once I am really back on track, I tend to stay on track. |

It's ok mini!! You can do this
![]() I've been doing a lot of journaling today and I think I'm going to stay off the scale daily. my cleanse is going great but I'm starting to focus more on the weight than the other benefits to the cleanse. It's going to be hard but I've done it before. I'll weigh once or twice a week. Wish me luck! |

Best of luck Disney -- I know that battle well. There are benefits to weighing daily, and also benefits to refraining from it --I hope you enjoy your time off the scale.
I'm not freaking right now, though I am a little disappointed that I didn't jump right back on the wagon with all the enthusiasm in the world -- but I do feel confident that I will be back on track tomorrow, and on the way to goal. I think TOM made things a little harder than usual this week, but that is finally winding down it seems..... And hey, today may end up yielding a loss anyhow -- this type of plan has done that in the past. |

Well the plane trip was certainly interesting, I ate a good breakfast before I flew, I didn't eat the lunch served on the plane but the last flight I had to get a snack. I tried to make good choices, water, a cheese and cracker box that had a slice of cheese, mixed salted nuts, raisins and some crackers. I did not eat the crackers or the raisins but I did eat the cheese and nuts and that was enough to tide me over till I could get to the hotel and get a real meal. We will just have to see what my weight is in the morning.

Hope the scale treats you well, Tx! It's a bit rough sticking to any plan while traveling, so I'd say you did great
I am curious to see where I land on the scale in the next few days -- my legs are looking leaner than I remember them looking any time in recent history --- I noticed that when I was getting dressed for work this evening -- so I think I may be losing more inches. I ate rather a lot of calories for p2 today, but it amounted to a fat fast, I think, percentages wise -- at least close to being one. I'm still on TOM after all -- it isn't winding down yet. I guess I will just keep playing things by ear, but I was rather happily surprised by the leaning out I am seeing in my thighs |

Good morning. Well staying off the scale was hard but I came right down stairs and chugged some water so I wouldn't be tempted after that.
Either way- 1 week of my cleanse down and I know I've lost 5 pounds at least so I'm please. I'll weigh every few days. I want to really focus on other aspects of my life right now. Not feeling great this morning as my allergies have left me with a terrible sinus headache Hope everyone has a good morning |
